USA/Gallup Poll Questions Obama’s Capability to Handle Economy, Health Care and Federal Budget

The One’s poll numbers have come crashing back to earth.  It took Americans six months to understand that the Obamamessiah is human after all and figure out that candidate Obama is a different person than President Obama. The people now do not trust him on the very issues why they elected him. Six months into his presidency, Americans are already weary and wary of The One. Stick a fork in him, he’s done.

• By 49%-47%, those surveyed disapprove of how he is handling the economy
• By 50%-44%, they disapprove of how he is handling health care policy

First it was the Rasmussen Report, then the Washington Post/ABC poll, now the USA/Gallup poll finds that more an more Americans have great concerns with The One’s handling of the economy, health care and the federal deficit. More and more Americans have less faith in Obama’s handling of the economy. Is it any wonder with unemployment at 9.5% when the Obama Administration stated it would not go above 8% due to the passage of the stimulus plan.

For all of the free passes Obama has been provided and MSM support touting Barack Obama as the savior of the economy and the most liked President ever, after six months his poll numbers hardly reflect it. As Macsmind simply puts it, “America no longer trust Barack Obama and it is the fastest loss of credibility ever”.

At six months in office, Obama’s 55% approval rating puts him 10th among the 12 post-World War II presidents at this point in their tenures. When he took office, he ranked seventh.

Obamacare: Governors Say Not So Fast On Obama’s Healthcare … Obama Gets Bipartisan Consensus for Healthcare Plan

Obama finally gets bipartisan “dis”approval!

Think Governors do not know the pulse of their state and that Obamacare is a loser?

Barack Obama finally has a bipartisan agreement with his policies. Too bad for him and good for Americans that it is against Obamacare. It appears that Obama’s healthcare plan has grown consensus opposition from Governors to The One’s healthcare reform. As also reported in the Boston Globe, the nations governors are deeply concerned over the cost to pay for Obamacare. Is Obamacare close to DOA?

The nation’s governors, Democrats as well as Republicans, voiced deep concern yesterday about the shape of the healthcare bill emerging from Congress, fearing that the federal government is about to hand them expensive new Medicaid obligations without providing the money to pay for them.

The role of the states in a restructured healthcare system dominated the summer meeting of the National Governors Association here this weekend – with bipartisan animosity voiced against the Obama administration’s plan during a closed-door luncheon Saturday and in a private meeting yesterday afternoon with the secretary of health and human services, Kathleen Sebelius.

“I think the governors would all agree that what we don’t want from the federal government is unfunded mandates,’’ said Governor Jim Douglas of Vermont, a Republican who is the group’s incoming chairman. “We can’t have the Congress impose requirements that we are forced to absorb beyond our capacity to do so.’’

As states are operating in the red, dealing with unemployment and facing a recession , what governor in their right is going to say to their people we are going to increases taxes? Blue Crab Boulevard is spot on when they say, it is political suicide for a anyone to vote for Obamacare. All polls are beginning to show that a vote for Obamacare means a sure loss in the next election.

Barack Obama has finally found bi-partisan agreement. All polls are beginning to show that his approval ratings and ratings on policy issues are going down. Its not just the Rasmussen Report that shows the President’s approval number dipping and strong opposition against Obamacare.

The One’s handing of healthcare drops below 50% for the first time. It might just be time to hit the panic button as Americans are strongly against raising taxes to pay for healthcare in the teeth of a recession. How much longer will Obama defy the American people and what will be the consequence?

This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone July 15-18, 2009.

TN Police Release Victims Names of Jacob Shaffer’s Multiple Murders: Traci Shaffer, Devin Brooks, Robert Berber, Billy Hall, Chris Hall

The Tennessee Police have released the names of 5 of the 6 people killed by 30 year old Jacob Shaffer. Among those murdered by Shaffer was his wife, and his wife’s son, father and brother. The sixth victim found at Hall Cultured Marble Granite in Huntsville, AL on Saturday morning has yet to be identified.

Jacob Shaffer was arrested yesterday after the bodies of 5 victims were located in the separate homes in Fayetteville, TN. He has been charged with 5 counts of murder in Tennessee and will face an additional count in Alabama.

The three found in one home were Shaffer’s wife, Traci Shaffer, 38; her son Devin Brooks, 16; and the youth’s friend and neighbor, 16-year-old Robert Berber, according to a statement Sunday from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The two people found at the other home were Traci Shaffer’s father, Billy Hall, 57, and her brother Chris Hall, 34, authorities said.

No motive has been provided as to why Jacob Shaffer would have gone on this killing spree leaving six dead in his wake.

UPDATE I: Jacob Shaffer had been having marital troubles and were not living together with wife

According to reports, Jacob and Traci Shaffer were no longer living togather; however, they had not filed for separation. The Shaffer’s had a four year old daughter; however, she was not harmed during the murder spree.

The Shaffers had a 4-year-old daughter, and Wilson said police told him the girl was home during the killings but wasn’t hurt. Wilson told the AP that he met Jacob Shaffer when they were installing drywall, but they had stopped being friends about a year and a half ago.

Why are Obama ratings poll numbers sinking? It’s simple, his policies are going directly against the will of the people.

Barack Obama’s approval ratings and policy agenda are on a downward spiral with the American voters. It has been 40 years since Senator Ted Kennedy killed Mary Joe Kopechne, known as the Chappaquiddick Incident. Mary Jo is gone, God rest her soul, and Ted Kennedy is still a US Senator. We wonder what is wrong with our politicians today? In many cases we need only look to the past to explain our representation today.

On the night of July 18, 1969, Ted Kennedy left a party on Martha’s Vineyard’s Chappaquiddick Island with  28 year old Mary Jo Kopechne when Kennedy drove off Dike Bridge into Poucha Pond. Ted Kennedy escaped the vehicle in the water and swam to safety, but Kopechne died in the submerged car. Kennedy left the scene of the accident and did not call authorities until after Kopechne’s body was discovered the following day. Kennedy would eventually turn himself in and get a slap on the wrist.

Same Old Tired Blame Game from Obama: Support for Obamacare is Crumbling … Moderates and Democrats Running from Socialized Healthcare

If one, or The One, ever pressures a sale, no matter what it is, the answer is to never buy it. Think the Obama Administration is not misreading Healthcare as they did they economy?

Ask yourself a simple question, why is Barack Obama insisting that all his big government socialist plans be done immediately? Who is their life allows a salesman to pressure them into buying anything? The answer is no one, most people just walk out the door. Wasn’t it the Democrats that said that George W. Bush rushed us into war? Mind you the lead up to the Iraq war was no where as fast as Obama’s socialist agenda takeover of America.

Healthcare for all sound like a cute campaign promise, but what is the difference between the soaring cost of healthcare and soar increases in taxes that no one can afford? Obamacare is not healthcare reform, it’s government take over to make “We the People” dependent on government for our care. The Gateway Pundit reminds us that it as earlier this week when the director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said the following:

He told Congressional leaders that Obamacare will not reduce federal health spending and the legislation would significantly expand the federal responsibility for health care costs. The actual hit to the federal deficit for this program alone exceeds $239 billion over the next decade.
