Sad News in Taco Bell Land … Gidget the Taco Bell Chihuahua Dies at 15, “Yo Quiero Taco Bell”
How very sad, Gidget, the famed Taco Bell Chihuahua has passed away at the age of 15. Gidget made her TV debut in September of 1997 in the “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” ads. It goes down as one of the greatest marketing tag lines ever in TV commercial history. Gidget goes down in history as one of the most recognizable ad dogs ever. It is nice to hear that after her promoting days of Taco Bell, Gidget just enjoyed laying around in the sun like a normal dog. Rest in Peace Gidgit.

Karen McElhatton, Gidget’s owner, tells Usmagazine.com the dog was with her trainer, Sue Chipperton, watching television when she began making “strange noises” and suffered a stroke.
Before the dog’s death, “She had a good day and was running around as normal,” McElhatton tells Usmagazine.com. “We’re happy that she was very well off right until the end.”

This is probably one of The One’s most incredible acts since Obama has been President and speaks volumes to his presidency and agenda to pass laws through as fast as possible before people notice and his poll numbers completely tank. Barack Obama has used the sky is falling tact with healthcare in the US. It must be passed yesterday. If it is not, worlds will collide, it will rain fiery hail and locust will swoop down upon the earth. Why the rush Barack Obama? We have already witnessed the colossal calamity of the rush in passing the stimulus bill when no one was afforded the opportunity to read it. Now President Obama wants to ram through a multi-trillion dollar health care plan, Obamacare, without discussing it? I think we now know why … Obama is not familiar with any of it.
Is there any wonder why even Democrats are at odds against Obamacare, let alone “We the People”. Ask your self a simple question … why does there need to be a time table of Summer recess for healthcare? Wouldn’t Americans want them to get it right rather than just pass anything to fit a time table? Doesn’t America want their politicians, including President Obama, to know what is in the bill and discuss it, rather than just vote on something blindly?
If Democrats in the lower chamber do not pass a healthcare reform bill before the recess, it would be seen as a major step backward from the legislative timetable President Obama initially outlined. As recently as last week, leading Democrats were predicting they would pass bills through the House and Senate before adjourning for the summer.

NFL Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Named in Sexual Assault Lawsuit Filed in Nevada
What to make of this … Ben Roethlisberger being accused of sexual assault.
Ben Roethlisberger, the Pittsburgh Steelers QB, is accessed and has been named in a sexual assault civil lawsuit by a woman who was employed at a Lake Tahoe, Nevada Harrah’s resort. The alleged incident was supposed to have taken place last year during a celebrity golf tournament. The lawsuit also names either other defendants associated with the hotel.
The lawsuit was filed Friday and names eight other defendants, accusing the hotel’s security chief and other hotel employees of defamation and failing to properly investigate her accusation against Roethlisberger.
An attorney for Roethlisberger, David Cornwell, denied that Roethlisberger sexually assaulted the woman.

Obamacare spin on a failed health care plan, all Obama, all the time. A liberal blogger from Maine asks, Mr President what about section 102 referenced by Investors Business Daily that outlaws private insurance. Barack Obama responded, “I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about”.
Barack Obama wants Obamacare passed through immediately and he does not even know the provision of the bill. UNREAL. Would you buy a used car from this man, let alone a healthcare bill that will forever affect the way you get medical care?

How on earth can a 6 month sitting President be behind in a hypothetical 2012 Presidential match up? Maybe the MSM would like to provide some rose-colored spin? The fact of the matter is that Barack Obama’s first 6 months has been a disaster. Never have we seen the likes of such a free-fall as Obama. Then again, we have never had a US President ever try to spread Socialism and big government control in America under the guise of economic stimulus.
Although polls like this are way too premature, the fact that The Chosen One is tied with Mitt Romney speaks volumes to the free fall that Obama has had in the polls and America’s disenchantment with the Obamamessiah. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, if the 2012 presidential election were held today, President Obama and Republican Mitt Romney would be all tied up at 45% each.

- Dana is from Canada, and says not to buy into the hype. Their system is far from perfect and not a good example of how health care should be run.
Get the real answers regarding government controlled health care from someone who lives it every day. From one Canadian to the American people … Obamacare is not the answer. The people in Canada do not pay for their health care, or do they?
They are taxed for their health care, experience long lines, long waits for minor surgeries and doctor and nurse shortages. How does anyone think that a model based on a population of 30 million people works for 300 million?

Jacob Shaffer’s Bloody & Deadly Rampage Killing 5 in TN and 1 in AL … MYSPACE Mood: Going Crazy
Jacob Shaffer of Fayetteville, TN was a quiet man who obviously snapped as he was upset with his wife. Was the pressure of his separation too much for Shaffer to handle. As police have stated, the main target of Shaffer’s killing spree was his wife. One only needs to take a look at his Myspace to see that something was not right with the 30 year old man. Jacob missing his family? His mood was going crazy? I guess we now know that to be certainly true.
We would later learn shortly after the murders that Jacob Shaffer and his wife Traci Shaffer were having marital problems and were no longer living together.
Neighbors told WAFF 48 News that Tracie and Jacob Shaffer had argued on Friday. WAFF 48 News was told that the two were no longer living together but had not yet filed papers.
