Houston Office of Michael Jackson Dr. Conrad Murray Raided … Target of Manslaughter Investigation

Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor linked to Michael Jackson and the last person who saw Jackson alive had his Houston office raided by police and Feds.  Dr. Conrad Murray is facing a manslaughter investigation into the death of the King of Pop.

The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly treating the death of Michael Jackson as a homicide. Some one had to had injected and administered Jackson with sedatives. Common sense speculation would point to the doctor that was hired by AEG Live to accompany Jackson. What will the good doctors defense be … it was Jackson who injected himself? Unfortunately, Michael Jackson was headed down a bad road started many years ago. It should come as no surprise to anyone, such was the case with Anna Nicole Smith, that they died far too young. However, under the circumstances … the question now is who was responsible for Jackson’s death that pushed it over the edge?

Barack Obama Quick to Cry Racism in Arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr & Cambridge Police Sgt. James Crowley

There are two sides to a story, too bad Obama didn’t care.

The Obamamessiah who was supposed to bring peace & tranquility has now started a race issue. All because he did not care enough to wait for the facts. Who knew the change that people voted for was electing Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to the White House? One would think that The One would have the brains to wait for the details before crying racism. Maybe Obama was listening those 20 years while in the pews with reverend Wright?

Racism is based on ignorance. However, what would you call commenting on a story and calling it racism that you knew nothing about other than the fact that a black man was arrested that was your friend.

That would be called IGNORANT!

Thus was the case with President Barack Obama when he answered the final question of his Obamacare disastrous press conference the other night. The “not ready for prime time” President literally submarined his entire health care agenda by answering a question regarding the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr who was arrested in Cambridge, MA by Police Sgt. James Crowley.

It was bad enough that Obama attacked doctors during his Obamacare presser, but then, without any real knowledge of events of the arrest, called the Cambridge police stupid. So in one press conference on health care, Obama manages to bash both docs and cops. Once again we have Obama acting in a rush to judgment. Much like the rush that he wanted put on his health care reform. It is bad enough The One made the comment without knowing the facts, but he refuses to back off them. Was it not the Democrats that used to call GWB unbending in his ways?

How Bad is Obamacare? Even the AP Says … He Lied to Americans during Health Care Presser … Reid & Pelosi Cancel Health Care Vote

Is it any wonder why Obamacare is going down in flames? Is it any wonder why the more Americans hear of this health care overhaul that will ration health care, increase taxes and ruin the very essence of doctor – patient relationships in the United States, that support for the plan is going down the tubes as all polls show that voter have no confidence in how Obama is handling health care.

It is bad enough that Obama attacked doctors credibility during the Health care press conference where Obama had little specifics, but when he did talk about the way in which Americans would be affected  … he misrepresented the truth.

Just how bad is the Obamacare plan and the spin/lie/BS being spewed by The One to defend this indefensible plan? The AP actually provided a fact check of what Barack Obama said vs. the reality of the plan. That is correct, the AP called Obama on his rhetoric.

President Barack Obama’s assertion Wednesday that government will stay out of health care decisions in an overhauled system is hard to square with the proposals coming out of Congress and with his own rhetoric.

Even now, nearly half the costs of health care in the U.S. are paid for by government at all levels. Federal authority would only grow under any proposal in play.

OBAMA: “We already have rough agreement” on some aspects of what a health care overhaul should involve, and one is: “It will keep government out of health care decisions, giving you the option to keep your insurance if you’re happy with it.”

Daily Commentary – Friday, July 24, 2009 – Obama Comments on Cambridge Police Arrest of Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates

• He says cops “acted stupidly”. Dana says he should keep out of it. Once again Barack Obama comments about something he is not familiar with.

CT Democrat Senator Christopher Dodd Trails Republican Challenger Rob Simmons 48% – 39%

Chris Dodd’s scandals will cost him dearly in 2010 Senate election.

A sign of things to come? Incumbent Democrats with poor polling numbers. How much will the current economy, unemployment and government spending hurt Democrats in the upcoming 2010 elections? When a party controls the White House, Senate and the House of Representatives, they have no one to blame but them self.

A recent Quinnipiac University Connecticut Poll shows that incumbent Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd trails the likely Republican challenger, Rob Simmons, 48% to 39%. What do the Nutmeg State voters say is Dodd’s most glaring weakness? They do not think he is trust worthy. What is also a glaring common thread these days is Obama’s approval rating is down 8 points as well in Connecticut. With many in CT saying they do not think the economy will be getting better in the near future, the 2010 elections will be a watershed moment for Democrats and Obama.

Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd trails former U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons, a likely Republican challenger 48 – 39 percent in the 2010 Senate race, but he is inching up in his job approval to a negative 42 – 52 percent approval rating, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
 
The matchup compares to a 45 – 39 percent Simmons lead in a May 27 poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.
 
In this latest survey, Simmons leads 87 – 7 percent among Republicans and 56 – 27 percent among independent voters, while Sen. Dodd takes Democrats 74 – 16 percent. The incumbent has gained among Democrats, but lost independent support since May 27.

Did Barack Obama Just Demonize Your Doctor … The One Accuses Dr’s of Putting Profit over Patient Care

Who do you trust with your life, doctors or the government?

No he did not just say that …

America, who do you trust more to do the right thing when it comes to your, your parents, your family and your children’s health care … your doctor or the government? Last night President Barack Obama accused doctors of making health care decisions based on fee reimbursement schedules vs. the patents care. UNREAL!!!  Obama made a blanket statement that doctors did not necessarily do What’s best for the patients care.

So how does the health care community feel this morning as the Commander & Chief, the President of the United States basically said that doctors are more concerned with over charging patients and gaming the system than they are providing proper health care to their patients. Hello doctors, hello AMA, he just called you greedy and frauds.

Do some doctors commit fraud, certainly they do. However, to make such a generalization and bad mouth the entire health care community is as irresponsible as it gets.

Police Will Not Investigate Alleged Ben Roethlisberger Sexual Assault without Criminal Complaint … ESPN Finally Reports Assault

Nevada authorities and ESPN will not investigate alleged assault charges, both for much different reasons.

According to Nevada police, they do not intend on investigating the allegations of sexual assault by Pittsburgh Steeler QB Ben Roethlisberger because there was no criminal complaint filed by the victim. An investigation into the alleged crime can only begin once there is a criminal complaint made. No one can fault Nevada authorities for not investigating a crime that they have no criminal complain for.

Teresa Duffy, a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy, told the AP that an investigation would be opened only if the woman accusing Roethlisberger files a criminal complaint or if another person witnessed the alleged incident.

The woman filed a lawsuit against Roethlisberger and eight other defendants Friday. The lawsuit said the woman did not contact police after the alleged incident because she believed that other hotel employees would support Roethlisberger.

However, ESPN is in a much different situation. Whether Pittsburgh QB Ben  Roethlisberger is guilty or not of the alleged sexual assault allegations, ESPN is guilty of negligent reporting and pandering to athletes.

Prior to Last Nights Obama Health care Presser … 53% Now Oppose Congressional Health Care Reform … No Vote Prior to Recess

President Obama’s health care foing dowm in flames as Democrats oppose it as well.

According to a poll at the Rasmussen Report prior to last nights Obamacare press conference, 53% of Americans opposed the Congressional Health care reform. Opposition has grown from 45% in late June to 49% two weeks ago and 53% in Rasmussen’s recent poll. After last nights non-informative and weak effort to explain the details, look for the opposition to increase.

The health care reform legislation working its way through Congress has lost support over the past month. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 44% of U.S. voters are at least somewhat in favor of the reform effort while 53% are at least somewhat opposed.

One thing is for certain, there will be no passage or vote, thankfully, for Obamacare prior to the Congressional recess. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) on Wednesday acknowledged for the first time that a pre-recess vote on healthcare reform is unlikely. There will be no rush to vote for Obamacare, despite The One’s full court press to pressure politicians to do so. The longer that Obamacare is discussed and the details come out, the more opposition will increase. Thus the reason why Obama wanted to ram this health care reform through.
