RSSAnother Polling Trend that Does Not Bode Well for Dems … Republicans Remain Ahead on Generic Ballot
Yet another troubling polling trend from the Rasmussen Report for Democrats. For the second week in a row, Republicans lead Democrats in the Generic Ballot. What does this tell us? That the voters are beginning to blame the “tax & spend” policies of Obama and the Democrats for the continued economic problems. When will Democrats put jobs first and their political power grab agenda second?
If Democrats think its going to get better, they best think again. What’s on the horizon … higher unemployment numbers, “Cap & Trade,” funding of Obamacare and the talk by some of a second stimulus package. Americans will be taxed to death and no jobs to boot. Wait until “We the People” voice our opinions about that.
Republican candidates lead Democrats for the second straight week in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 41% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 38% would choose the Democratic candidate.

Coincidence?
Hate speech accusations from a Daily Kos blogger … that’s priceless.
Those that point fingers might want to look in the mirror. No truer words have ever been spoken when it comes to many on the web, and I think you know who you are. Those that make accusatory statements and comments either have no idea what they are talking about or are in a word, only speaking about them self. Those that spew hate are usually the first to state that is what others are doing. Many times this does not refer to Left or Right sides of the political blogosphere. Pointing the finger of hate is usually just a desperate attempt for attention by those to be recognized who generally are just an after thought in the grand scope of life.

Thus is the case of Chris Parry, a Vancouver Sun reporter, who seems to have got him self in quite the blogging scandal pickle. How interesting the a far Left liberal blogger from the Daily Kos would advocated on Daily Kos for liberals to post hate speech on conservative blogs and blame it on conservatives. From Gawker:
But the real story here is that this same reporter and Daily Kos contributer has advocated on his Daily Kos blog any number of egregious offenses, among them: posting hate speech on sites like Free Republic and blaming it on conservatives.

In essence: Parry, the journalist, found his story right where he’d been circling it for a very long time, and reported it as news. Sigh.

One, Two, Now Three Arrests Made in the Murders of Florida Couple, Byrd and Melanie Billings
More Arrests Made …
There have been three arrests made in the double murders of the Florida couple, Byrd and Melanie Billings, who where killed in their home last Thursday.
Leonard Gonzalez Sr.
First, 56 year old Leonard Gonzalez Senior was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with tampering with evidence in a murder investigation. Leonard Gonzalez Sr. is accused of trying to paint over and hide damage on a red van caught on the Billings’ surveillance video.
The Escambia County, Florida Sheriff’s Office has now confirmed that there have been two more arrests. 41 year old Wayne Coldiron and Gozalez’s son, Leonard Gonzalez Junior have been arrested in connection with the Billings’ double homicide. They have been charged with murder.
The two newly arrested suspects mug shots can be seen below.

Room With a View Fallout … “I would have boxed their ears” Says Teens Mom of Obama & Sarkozy
And now the fallout from the family of the 17 year old Brazilian beauty and the “butt shot” seen round the world.
According to the NY Post, the mad-as-hell mama of the 17-year-old Brazilian beauty would have boxed their ears if she was present.
“If I were there, I would have boxed their ears,” said Lucia Rodrigues, 37. “They should be ashamed of themselves.”
Patriarch Eduardo Tavares, after finally getting around to seeing the famous photo of his daughter from behind, quickly changed his tune from proud papa to furious father.
“My daughter is not a model and she is not a sex symbol,” he told The Post. “That photograph has ruined my whole family.”

Arrest Made in the Double Murder of Byrd and Melanie Billings … Tampering with Evidence … More Arrests Expected
According to WKRG, there has been an arrest made in the double homicide of Byrd and Melanie Billings. According to the Escambia County, Florida Sheriff’s Office, 56-year old Leonard Gonzalez was taken into custody as is being charged with tampering with evidence. Leonard Gonzalez Sr. is accused of trying to paint over and hide damage on a red van.
The Billings’ were murdered Thursday in their Beulah, FL home in what is initially being reported as a home invasion

He is being charged with tampering with evidence related to a murder investigation. Sheriff David Morgan says Gonzalez changed the appearance of the van believed to be used in the murders and is one of the two men brought in for questioning Saturday. Sheriff Morgan did not release any information involving the motive of those responsible for the murders. Morgan says the investigation into the murders is getting more complex and, in his words, “reads like a movie script.”
The big break in the case came this weekend when a tip lead them to the van captured in surveillance video leaving the Billings residence.

The discovery led to an arrest Sunday.
According to Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan at the press conference, more arrests are expected.

Amanda Rodrigues, the 23 year old wife of Arturo Gatti has been arrested and charged the former boxing champions murder. Brazilian authorities arrested Amanda Carina Barbosa Rodrigues for the death of Arturo Gatti. According to authorities, Gatti was strangled with a purse strap in a hotel room Saturday at a Sao Paolo, Brazil resort. It is also be reported, as we had previously suspected, that Arturo Gatti was murdered in his sleep.
Brazilian authorities have charged the wife of slain former boxing champ Arturo Gatti with her husband’s murder, police said.
They arrested 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues Sunday, saying she used the strap of her purse to strangle the former junior welterweight champion in his sleep, police said.

Police have named his wife the prime suspect in the death of Arturo Gatti. The wife of former boxing champion Arturo Gatti has been taken into custody by Brazilian police and is considered a suspect in his death at the Porto de Galinhas resort in northeastern Brazil. Gatti was found dead by his wife in their rented condo at the seaside resort of Porto de Galihnas in Brazil.
23 year old Amanda Rodrigues was taken into custody on Sunday by police because of contradictions and inconsistencies in her statements when she was interviewed by police. According to a spokeswoman for the Pernambuco state civil police, Gatti was strangled with the strap of a purse.

Ritter hired his former law firm, the Washington-based Hogan & Hartson, in a no-bid contract to review stimulus spending, The Denver Post reported Friday. It said the firm was paid $40,000 in stimulus money through June.
