Same Old Tired Blame Game from Obama: Support for Obamacare is Crumbling … Moderates and Democrats Running from Socialized Healthcare
If one, or The One, ever pressures a sale, no matter what it is, the answer is to never buy it. Think the Obama Administration is not misreading Healthcare as they did they economy?
Ask yourself a simple question, why is Barack Obama insisting that all his big government socialist plans be done immediately? Who is their life allows a salesman to pressure them into buying anything? The answer is no one, most people just walk out the door. Why does Barack Obama want to bankrupt America with his healthcare plan?
Wasn’t it the Democrats that said that George W. Bush rushed us into war? Mind you the lead up to the Iraq war was no where as fast as Obama’s socialist agenda takeover of America.
Healthcare for all sound like a cute campaign promise, but what is the difference between the soaring cost of healthcare and soar increases in taxes that no one can afford? Obamacare is not healthcare reform, it’s government take over to make “We the People” dependent on government for our care. The Gateway Pundit reminds us that it as earlier this week when the director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said the following:
He told Congressional leaders that Obamacare will not reduce federal health spending and the legislation would significantly expand the federal responsibility for health care costs. The actual hit to the federal deficit for this program alone exceeds $239 billion over the next decade.
More eye popping costs from the CBO can be read at The Politico. Wait a minute, isn’t this the same percentage of people who don’t presently have healthcare? So how is this fixing the problem of uninsured Americans?
The CBO also found that the measure would provide health coverage to 37 million people, — meaning 97 percent of all U.S. citizens would be covered by some form of health care if these changes are enacted.
The plan would leave 17 million people within the U.S. uninsured — nearly half of whom would be illegal immigrants who are denied coverage under the bill.
Oh, so now the BS from Obama is Healthcare cannot wait? Didn’t we hear this same broken record regarding the stimulus bill? The Pork barrel spending plan that was supposed to create jobs and has done nothing as unemployment is at 9.5%. Or live in Michigan where the unemployment rate in over 15%. Remember when Barack Obama forced Congress to vote on the $787 billion Stimulus bill before anyone had read it on a Friday, only to fly off for the weekend to Chicago for date night? Time was of the essence, if Congress did not, the sky would fall and locust would infest the land. Then Obama would later tell us that the Stimulus bill would not create jobs until next year as only 10% had been allocated. Then Obama says, it’s done it’s job. So why the hurry again?
In his weekly address, President Barack Obama called on Congress to seize this opportunity – one that may not come again for decades – and finally pass health care reform.
Who could not have predicted that once Americans realized the cost and the coverage that they would get from Obamacare, that they would voice their disapproval to their Representatives and Democrats? Support for Obamacare is shrinking fast. Once details started to come out, moderates and even Democrats started to say, not so fast.
As reported at Wizbang, the Gang of Six centrist Senators, Ben Nelson (D-Neb.), Mary Landrieu (La.), Ron Wyden (Ore.). Independent Joe Lieberman (Conn.), and Maine Republican Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, has asked Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to slow down the stampede to pass health care reform. Also, numerous Blue Dog Democrats in the House have expressed their deep concerns with Obamacare. These people understand that they will never be re-elected if they vote for this nonsense.
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 50% of voters oppose Obamacare while only 35% support it. In mid-June the results were 41% for and against. The more details trickle out of Obamacare, the more people do not support it.
Seventy-eight percent (78%) of voters say it is at least somewhat likely that taxes will be raised on the middle class to cover the cost of the health care reform plan.
Forty-five percent (45%) of Americans believe health care reform will increase the cost of health insurance coverage while just 19% believe it will reduce costs.
Obama talks about the soaring cost of healthcare? What exactly does he think is going to happen when it comes time to pay for the government take over of healthcare, except soaring taxes!!!
Alliances In Health Debate Splinter; Once-Friendly Groups Split as Details Emerge
Friendly alliances among medical and business groups have begun to splinter in reaction to concrete legislation from House Democrats, which cleared two important committee hurdles yesterday.
President Obama has left much of the wrangling over legislation to Congress. But he also waded into the fight, declaring during an impromptu White House appearance yesterday that “now is not the time to slow down.”
One has to ask them self why does Obama speak with a forked tongue? Obama assured us that he did not want government run healthcare when he said, “I don’t believe that government can or should run health care.” Hot Air provides us with this little blast from the past with regards to the Auto industry.
No worries, though: “I don’t believe that government can or should run health care,” he assures us, ignoring the fact that he once famously said he doesn’t want to run the auto companies … a month after he forced the chairman of GM into early retirement.
