Are You Kidding … America, You Think this is the CHANGE Needed for Healthcare?

AMERICA, WHEN IT COMES TO HEALTHCARE, GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE CURE, ITS THE DISEASE!!!

Ask yourself this question, when has the government ever made anything easier or more simple? One need to only look at the endless pages of tax code to honestly answer that question. Question two, when has the government ever acted in a timely and expedient manner? One only need to look at how long it has taken TARP money to be allocated. And if you want a Republican example, it took how long to get supplies to New Orleans after Katrina?

Check out this chart … is this want your healthcare to look like? Imagine a life and death decision that needs to be made for you or your loved one and it gets caught up in this bureaucratic nightmare.

Make no mistake out it, the Wrong health reform will hurt economy.  Why would anyone think that Obama would not ration healthcare? What else could he do? If anyone presently is insured, you can be guaranteed the government universal healthcare plan will offer less services.

Republican Chart Outlines House Democrats’ Government Takeover of Health Care

“This chart depicts the health care nightmare that House Democrats have planned for families and small businesses.  This isn’t reform; it’s a recipe for disaster that will lead to higher health care costs, lower quality, rationed care, and bureaucrats making medical decisions instead of doctors and patients.  Families shouldn’t have to answer to shadowy Washington bureaucrats when they’re seeking health care treatments for themselves and their loved ones.

Ask yourself this question, how is anyone going to pay for this?

Now ask yourself one final question … about 2% – 3% of the population are actually affected by having no healthcare when one factors in choice and illegals. What sane person destroys the present healthcare model for this small amount? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just handle their problem instead of tearing down the entire house and building a socialist one?

Boorack’s plan will bankrupt this country immediately. many will suffer under this oppresive government dictatorship. many doctors will not cooperate with this kind of forced plan. and let’s not forget the (poor) will be subsidized. now who do you think this will be ? hundreds of thousands of illegals, those who will not get off their lazy a$$e$ and work !
i’m tired of carrying these people on my back and it’s time to shake them off.

    8. Michelle Smith on July 16th, 2009 2:42 pm

YoYo wants government health care, he likes the government controlling his life. Wonder why that is?

      Any guesses?

    10. SUPER DAVE on July 16th, 2009 3:22 pm

did you guys know that 25 Americans die every day at the hands of illegal aliens ? these are the same illegals that will be subsidized by the American taxpayer due to obama’s healthcare plan.
in other words we will be responsible for their welfare ! i guess democrats don’t pay taxes ?

If you have spent hours in an overcrowded emergency room waiting to be seen and bend over with severe pain while folks around you with colds and cuts from fighting at bars are taken in ahead of you, you are beginning to just get a tiny bit of the picture of what is coming for us if this passes.

    12. Michelle Smith on July 16th, 2009 5:00 pm

#11 And that’s not the half of it. How many doctors are going to work for $40/patient? Not any doctors I’d want to go to for surgery or an emergency. How many of us working people can spend hours @ a doctor’s office because they are so crowded from all the folks with runny noses that don’t have anything better to do?

Know why there are so many foreign doctors here? They come over here for an education, and then they see they can make more here than at home, so they stay. When that well runs dry a lot of doctors are going to return to their home countries to practice medicine, and a lot of American doctors may go as well. People are gong to follow the money.

    14. Michelle Smith on July 16th, 2009 8:54 pm

#13 Exactly and when it comes to medical procedures and doctor visits, I don’t think we need to be looking for the “discount section”. I have had good luck with foreign doctors and I hate to lose those good doctors because the government wants to stick their nose in something they know nothing about.

    15. SUPER DAVE on July 17th, 2009 7:30 am

#9: it’s true. straight from the horse’s mouth. the poor will be subsidized with our tax money while they do not or will not work. if it were just poor Americans it wouldn’t hurt as much. but we are looking at millions of undocumented illegals that will benefit before our own citizens get the chance.
obama wants a country full of illegals because they praqise him for making it so easy for them to leech off the taxpayers.( republicans) if you prefer.

We all need to stay positive; because, this is not going to fly in our country. It’s only a matter of time until these people are voted into oblivion. Please remember that it’s not over but only begun. It will be a long time before another Democrat/Liberal is trusted to be in the office of President. We need to look for positive leaders that love the constitution like Americans.

I notice the one important line that is missing. The payment line between consumer and health care provider. When I first heard about HMOs, I always thought the idea was flawed because minor health care instances should be taken care of by the consumer. Insurance, for it to work, should handle catastrophic medical needs, not a every sniffle. When I asked the company representing the HMO about this, he said that since there was a small charge each doctor visit, this would “put on the brakes” on every medical issue being covered by insurance. I didn’t like it then, and didn’t think it would work. Now, if you look at this chart, they have left out that “brake” totally. This system is doomed to fail.

    19. Michelle Smith on July 17th, 2009 9:51 am

I have called my Congressman & also written to him. He is against this. Hope more will follow.

    20. SUPER DAVE on July 17th, 2009 2:38 pm

with my wife being in the medical field and i work my second job for a doctor, we hear a lot of feedback. many doctors are already prepared or are in the process of preparing to leave the country and practice elsewhere.
i doubt even the hardcore democrat doctor will work for obama peanuts.

    21. katablog.com on July 17th, 2009 3:07 pm

PA Mom: This is exactly why BHO and Congress insist on passing this health care control NOW. They know their time to get their agenda of a changed forever America is short. Once this puppy gets put into place, there is no way to repeal it. How do you reconstruct a destroyed health care industry?

When I mentioned foreign doctors, that’s not a put down to all foreigners. I couldn’t care less about the nationality of my doctor. However, the foreign doctors that work for the US military (and soon will be the US Government doctors since they are ones who will work for limited pay) often do not have the medical credentials required to practice in the US because their foreign medical schools are not accredited.

THIS I have a problem with. I want my doctor to be able to communicate with me enough so I can understand his instructions and he can understand my allergies and medical situation. I also want him accredited so that I know his medical abilities are up to snuff.

One of the worse things about going to military doctors was that frequently you saw one doctor on Monday and another doctor on Friday, meaning there was no continuity of care. I even had one doctor poison me by giving me a medication that another doctor had documented that I was allergic to. Why? Because the second doctor had never heard of anyone being allergic to sulfa and so determined that the first doctor had to be wrong.

Michelle: I also have contacted my senators and representatives; and like yours, they state they are against this bill. However, the truth is – our Congress frequently lies to their constituents. For example, if yours tell you they haven’t decided – it means they’ve decided and don’t care to tell you and endure your wrath.

Have you ever contacted your congress and had them actually discuss their position (versus just tell you what it is) with you? Only on the campaign trail. In fact these days when you call, you merely get a staffer who records your position and then sets up for you to get a mass email or mailing of a letter that may mention the topic but often fails to even address your specific concerns. Why? Because it’s written for the masses and so it treats the topic in a very general manner so that it appeases both sides.

Let me leave you all with this, from the Director of Congressional Budget Office:

Under current law, the federal budget is on an unsustainable path, because federal debt will continue to grow much faster than the economy over the long run. Although great uncertainty surrounds long-term fiscal projections, rising costs for health care and the aging of the population will cause federal spending to increase rapidly under any plausible scenario for current law. Unless revenues increase just as rapidly, the rise in spending will produce growing budget deficits.

That’s BEFORE the US government takes on health care control, Stimulus II, Illegal Immigration and any future bailouts.

If you believe Joe Biden that you have to spend money to keep a bankrupt nation from bankruptcy, then have another drink to sober up. But if you actually have a brain in your head, hit the streets yelling your head off, call your representatives and Senators, write letters, and do whatever you can to wake up Congress that We the People have had enough!

Let me tell you all a little story. I live 30 minutes away form the hospital in a little farming town. One day, I noticed that I had a small lump on the bottom of my spine. I let it alone and didn’t think about it again until one Sunday night when it popped. I got in the car and rushed to the hospital. Though there were about six people in line ahead of me when I got there, I was brought to a room almost immediately. I had the cyst lanced and was home before I knew it. It took me less than an hour and a half IN TOTAL to get to the hospital, get cared for, and get home. You know how much it cost me? NOTHING. I never saw a bill, never heard from the hopital again. Do you know why? It’s because I have a GOVERNMENT RUN health care plan that takes care of me.

If you think that what you have in America is somehow better than this, you are more brainwashed than I thought. I can’t believe you don’t see that the rest of the developed world looks at you with pity and disbelief. Every other system you look at to take care of you is government funded – military, police, education, etc. Why do you think a corporation would protect you better than your own people? Your own government? Your babies die at more often than almost anywhere in the world, yet you cling to you corporate insurance plans. Why do you hate your fellow man so much? How can you be so unpatriotic? So selfish?

For a ‘Christian nation’, you sure are acting unChristian.
