Democrats in HOR Want to Tax the Rich 5.4% Surcharge for Healthcare Plan … Raise Taxes During a Recession

The Democrats answer to all problems is raise taxes! During a Recession?

A SURTAX for being rich??? What America do we live in where people are penalized for living the American dream and making something of themselves? A segment of people being singled out by the US Government and treated differently than the rest. Isn’t this discrimination? So we can’t discriminate of race, color or creed, but we can on economics. Imagine if someone said that all people with orange skin had to pay a surcharge?

How will Democrats pay for universal healthcare, otherwise known as Obamacare … Tax the rich of course. Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives will include a surtax on millionaires of 5.4% to pay for Obamacare.

When is enough, enough? If any of you think this is Ok because it does not affect you, what will you do when the bar is lowered and your income level is included in Obama’s “tax everyone agenda” to nationalize healthcare?

Exit Question: What sane and responsible politician raises taxes on anyone during a recession? Any politician that votes for a tax increase during a recession should be voted out of office, no matter what party.

Seems to me that Obama has certain beliefs about righting wrongs, about how society should work, and he is insitutig programs in accordance with those beliefs, rather than finding solutions to problems in a way that will work effectively and not hurt the country. I recently read a quote that said we’re told not to bite the hand that feeds us, but maybe we should if it keeps us from feeding ourselves.

The CBO has already said they can not pay for their healthcare plan by just taxing the rich NOR their $250K benchmark. Get ready, the ax is getting ready to fall further down the line.

We have the best health care system, bar none. The 47 million unisured number that is thrown around is not correct. It’s more like 10 million, so 290 million people have to suffer and live under Socalized rationed healthcare. My Senators are Feinstein and Boxer so I don’t get much from them except, blah blah blah. GOD help us, our Country is being taken away.

democrats are the most flagrant foulers in history. they flip flop and change their minds to suit their needs at will.
thye are by far the least educated politicians/ foriegners this country has ever witnessed.
sodomayor can’t even keep her story straight from the previous statements made about her role in politics.
a very poor selection again by obama. she needs to be investigated to make sure she hasn’t dodged her tax paying duties.

#4 Super Racist – when you are trying write how uneducated democrats are, you might want to spell the words correctly:

“thye are by far the least educated politicians/ foriegners this country has ever witnessed.”

      Lol.

Want something to be really scared about? When I first saw this on a blog, I thought it was someone being funny. It’s not. It’s real. That’s the administration chart of the proposed government health care. You’ll be dead before you get to the end which apparently equals getting to see a medical professional.

    9. yoyo muffintop on July 15th, 2009 9:42 pm

#8 – Aren’t you currently on a government health care program by your own choosing?

Americans do have trouble recognizing the
seething mass of those within that expect
to live off others. Power grabs and thug
tactics attempt to reduce the People to
virtual ‘Cattle’. Used to Freedom and living
off the fruits of one’s own labor, those same
      People find it extremely shocking
to discover a class of politicians that are
willing to shamelessly live like parasites by
stealing the People’s hard earned property.

Right now the paths of least resistance are
wide open to unchallenged thieves. The yokes
of servitude are being quickly, but secretly, slipped
around our necks. Wait patiently, the wagon of
debt and taxes is being readied for hitching up.

      Easy, now, don’t even moo!

racism and the racist word are nothing more than black propaganda.
use your tiny little brain and search Black Slave Owners In The United States and learn something.
you will find that most racism comes from you people.

YoYo Muffinhead: I am not on a government health care program by my own choosing.

If you mean that the government “pays” for some of our health care because my Hubby served his country for 26 years, yes. However, even though he was promised employer (military) paid health care for life – Clinton took away our dental insurance and closed many military health care facilities. So we now have “Tri-care” which means we visit private doctors and have to pay for some of our health care. Therefore, we’ve had to purchase a secondary policy.

I will say that private physicians are much more efficient, competent and caring than some of military providers were. Private providers also actually have command of the English language AND are licensed to practice in the USA!

While I have to wait, the wait is 1/2 the time it was with the military and get this – my private doctor is actually allowed to prescribe the medicine he deems the best (even though the military refuses to pay for it) instead of selecting from a military “approved list” based on my status (active duty, retired, dependent).

But do note MuffinHead: none of this is due to my “choosing” (other than we now can actually choose our private physicians which is a good thing), but rather to my hubby’s desire to serve his country for 26 years so that you and your ilk could live peacefully and comfortably while we as a family supported him by moving every few years.

Why expect a marxist to embarce the concepts of the American Dream?

    14. Dolf on July 16th, 2009 9:36 am

Katablog; sounds like our system (the good part)

    15. yoyo muffintop on July 16th, 2009 12:17 pm

Katablog: You are on government health care of your own choosing.

You can choose to go with a 100% private health care – you however are choosing not to.

    16. SUPER DAVE on July 16th, 2009 12:56 pm

no yoyo: this is one of the fringe benefits of katablog’s husband serving his country for 26 years. you just don’t have the capacity to grasp that her husband gave this much of his life to make us safe.
of course, your boy has never served his country and since he is an illegal, wouldn’t be allowed.

    17. Michelle Smith on July 16th, 2009 2:46 pm

      Hey Monkeys

YoYo thinks he knows everything. He even knows about Katablog’s choices in health care.

      AMAZING isn’t it?

YoYo you don’t know squat and want to come here and argue with Katablog about her health care choices.

      What a tool.

    18. Scott on July 17th, 2009 8:41 am

#14 – please…your healthcare system sucks giant elephant balls! It’s been proven OVER and OVER again that socialized healthcare is a DISASTER and in the long run BANKRUPTS the country! Just take a look at that little girl over there called France!?! LOL!

There is nothing good about socialized healthcare…PERIOD. Bureaucracy should NOT be involved at all in healthcare…this according to OUR constitution (not YOURS)!

You are just to mentally challenged to understand. I’ve come to that conclusion.

as for dodosh*thead…take him with a grain of salt. He’s an INS visit away from being deported. Better have your green card there poncho!

      scott

      my uninformed swearing fool

you might wanna read up on it first.

we have a healthcare system that is ran by private companies

    20. katablog.com on July 17th, 2009 2:50 pm

Dolf: I think the question might be (and I’m sorry, I don’t know which country you are from) who dictates the rules on health care.

Here’s an example: Today I went to my private doctor in great pain with a knee injury. Because the US Government still dictates the rules of my military health care plan,my doctor had to send me away with little treatment because my medical insurance demands that he (the doctor) consult them (the US Govt.) to get prior approval before giving me an MRI. So for the entire weekend I get to stay immobile, take narcotic drugs because my doctor has to wait for some 21 year old to read the regulations and grant permission for the doctor to find out what’s wrong with my knee so he can treat it.

    21. katablog.com on July 17th, 2009 2:53 pm

Of course, I’m really lucky, because when we put everyone on this government health care plan, it would probably be months before I could even see the doctor (who probably will be from Pakistan or India since US doctors will flee a system that dictates their pay) and then perhaps years before I could get an MRI.

    22. Dolf on July 20th, 2009 6:39 am

Katablog, I live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

your story sucks, you say you are not allowed to choose your doctor?
