It’s time the Obama Administration stops blaming others and starts taking accountable for their 
actions. The buck stops with them and no one else. Their socialist spending is making matters worse in the US, not better.
Get used to the back peddling on the numbers folks, 3.5 million jobs saved or created was just lowered to 600,000. $1.3 million per job? Wait until the people making under $250K are taxed to pay for Obama’s socialism.
This morning on “Meet the Press” VP Joe Biden admitted that the Barack Obama stimulus plan was a failure. Biden stated that “everyone guessed wrong;” however that is not the case. Everyone did not get it wrong, the Obama Administration got it wrong. The fact of the matter is that Obama’s minions have kept stating that the stimulus package would create or save 3.5 million jobs. A prediction that was comical on it’s premise. Now Biden is lowering that expectation to 600,000.
Obama and his clan need to get a clue and that not everyone guessed wrong. In a recent Rasmussen poll, 53% Say More Government Spending Hurts the Economy. Also, Americans now trust Republicans more than Democrats on the issue of the economy, 45%–39%. It would seem that the US is rejecting socialism and Obama now owns the economy and has no one to blame, although try he will.

VICE PRES. BIDEN: …or–no, it said it would–what would happen was it would save or create jobs. It’s doing that. It is doing that. Everyone guessed wrong, at the time the estimate was made, about what the state of the economy was at the moment this was passed. Now, we’re going to recalibrate this in terms of what we’ve inherited, what in fact is going on out there. But look, the bottom line is that jobs are being created that would not have been there before.
VP Biden also got the numbers incorrect during his MTP interview with host David Gregory when Joe said that the stimulus package decreased the unemployment rate in the United States. As stated by Blue Crab Boulevard and is obvious to any thinking American, the US has continually lost jobs after the stimulus package was signed, not gained.
MR. GREGORY: But the point of the stimulus was it would stop the unemployment picture from getting worse, right? Wasn’t that the claim?
VICE PRES. BIDEN: And it has.
MR. GREGORY: It has? Well, here…
VICE PRES. BIDEN: It’s not getting worse.
MR. GREGORY: But here’s the reality, and that is…
VICE PRES. BIDEN: Relative.
MR. GREGORY: …that when this report was issued by your economic adviser…
VICE PRES. BIDEN: Yes.
MR. GREGORY: …and Dr. Romer from the White House, the assertion was that you could keep unemployment at 8 percent and then it would go down after that. In fact, it’s now at 9.4 percent. Was it oversold?

The US lost over 2.5 million jobs in the first four months of this year under the Obama Administration.
The US unemployment rate rose from 7.6% to 9.4% under Obama… the highest rate in 25 years.

Oh – sure – Obama has been in office for 5 months and has failed to correct 8 years of the perfect nightmare created by Bush and his wacky band of monkeys! How many more souls do you think you can capture and convince to buy-in to your delusional…speak up I can’t hear you?
Thank God Obama isn’t following the suggestions of guys like this. When consumers and business can’t spend, and they can’t, government has to or we fall into a disastrous depression. Then they all get to “Go Galt” involuntarily. And starve.

Read the transcript of this interview…and count how many times ole Joe says the word “no”. And, S. Chambers, you are DEAD WRONG on the “perfect nightmare” created by Mr. Bush. Unless you can back it up with facts (which I can), do not make broad statements such as these. No one expects anyone to have an impact in such a short time, but, the bottom line here, is that deficit spending IS wreckless, power grabbing is going on…and NO WHERE in the US Constitution is the government granted the power that is being blatantly used. The entire executive and legislative branch of our government is violating their oaths and the US Constitution. Period.

Sadly, American adults are like teenagers. They cannot learn from the errors of the past and take the advice of others, they must learn and feel the pain themself.
Wait until these debts have to be paid back and the interest on them is more than the principle that was due prior to Obama.
Folks, use some common sense. Imagine if this was you and you kept borrowing and spent $’s on your credit card with the stipulation that no money was due for 12 months. How would you pay your bill then if the interest was more than what you paid in the past for the principle on your loan?

#1 and #2 need to read the transcript again. No one asked about the Bush administration or claims made by it. Gaffe a Minute was simply asked about his administration’s claims versus the reality.
“Everyone” didn’t get it wrong – many of us said exactly what would happen (increased deficit, no measurable difference in the economy) if Pork = U Less was passed. We were right; O and Gaffe a Minute were wrong.
Consumers and businesses have a hard time spending when the Government is in there stuffing debt and new taxes down our throats (and yes, there are new taxes and no tax break even for those making less than $250,000.)
#2 has either failed to read Atlas Shrugged or simply didn’t understand it. You can’t “go Galt” involuntarily. Going Galt is all about refusing to be productive when the government will be the only beneficiary of your production.
When an administration appoints 21 Czars (and still counting) to control everything involved with business, business isn’t making choices, the government is deciding what you can make, how it is to be made and what you can pay your workers. Sound familiar yet?

Did you link the wrong video? Just curious because nowhere in the video linked in the article does Biden say that the stimulus plan failed. In fact, he emphatically states multiple times that it had a positive effect.

I read the artical and also saw the vidio, he never did say that Obama’s plan failed, he just argued that what was as plain as day was not so, the plan was supposed to keep the unemployment figuar’s down to 8%, that is what it was sold on, how ever all that really mean’s is that Obama’s people had no idea, what they were doing to begin with, don’t you think if we are to spend that much of the people’s money they should have had some hard number’s to work with? Not in this case, what happened was Obama just through a bunch money at it hoping that it would go away, well it did not go away and here we are, Obama own’s this whether he likes it or not, enough of passing the blame to other’s his call his mistake, now try to be a man and admit it, lead ,follow ,or get the hell out of the way.
