  • Dana discusses the implications of the soaring ratings as the family dissolves on national television. What passes as TV today is hardly is hardly TV. Ratings at the expense of the exploitation of a marriage and children.

No one ever considers the children they are just pawns and end up getting hurt over there parents selfish actions.
American Chopper was on last night so I am sure the ratings will be through the roof !!!

Sorry, but this is another “who cares” story. They are using the MSM to furnish them with a lavish lifestyle—-regardless of the havoc it wreaks on their children. They both should be ashamed of themselves and America should stop tuning in to get their jollies off of pure drama!

WHO CARES! Bored Americans do, obviously. I’d rather watch Nat Geo or the Discovery Channel.

This is exactly what is destroying our country!!!! What a mentality……Americans wasting their time on Miss Californis, Kate plus eight, Octomom…..forget them….they are distractions……our interest should be in what is happening in N.Korea, a suspicious Pandemic, planes going down, under suspicious circumstances (among the passengers were two known terrorists, murder of Military, our American Finest.

I just looked up and saw your post New Girl, we must be on thesame page…..who the f… cares,
there are SERIOUS issues Americans are either oblivious to or choose to go to hell in a hand basket!!!

Thanks, Auntie Em ….I believe we are on the same page indeed.

I agree wholeheartedly with your post on the murder of Pvt. Long as well. 100% on point. I think we should utilize the link provided to contact Speaker Nancy Pelosi in addition to the family of the Marine who wrote in!

I hate to say this, but sometimes I am so disgusted & enraged with the way our Government is run (especially Congress) that I just want to spit nails! We have to speak up, even if it does little good—our voices must be heard about the serious issues our Nation faces. It’s like that line in that movie NETWORK went,

“I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!!!”

Up until the rumors started surfacing, I thought Kate was a bit bossy and I was some times pretty surprised on how she treated Jon but figured it wasn’t my place to judge someone’s marriage. It also appeared to me that the kids didn’t really seem to notice the photographers – most of the filming of the kids looked pretty “normal” for a family of 10.

Bottom line, I wouldn’t berate people for watching the show, the kids are adorable. I didn’t understand all the meltdowns when they were younger – like the trip to Disney. Looked like there was plenty of assistance and yet everyone was melting down.

I also don’t resent Jon & Kate for having 8 kids; there weren’t like OctoMom without a means of support (both worked)and they were simply trying for one baby – though I would resent Kate’s apparent opinion that the world somehow owes the family support. It shocked me to read that she said that. The world owes her nothing.

But if a TV show supports the kids and it doesn’t bother the kids, I don’t have a problem with that. As the kids get older I would think it might effect their lives more.

I do have a problem with the rumor that Kate flipped out about her sister-in-law and brother possibly getting paid for their appearances. Of course they should.

There’s a new couple that I watched last night that had 6 babies (again fertility drugs and a belief like mine that you don’t selectively abort babies). Very interesting what they went through. Apparently they are about ready to get a reality show. Kids are about 2 now.

      WHO CARES!!!!

    7. ANewGirl on June 14th, 2009 2:00 am

Yeah, and if I see their pictures on the cover of one more magazine-I’m gonna’ toss my cookies right in the Supermarket aisle.

      “Kate’s weekend away from Jon”

“Jon’s secret date with the other woman, caught on camera”

      WE REPEAT……….WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
