Just when Aruba claimed it was safe to go back in the water and things were better in Aruba following the turmoil, unrest and distrust from their actions in dealing with the investigation of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, the Central of Aruba now says Aruba is in further economic decline. Tax revenues down, overnight visitors down, number of residing visitors down, cruise ship passengers down, cruise ship visits down and the average inflation over twelve months increased with 0.4 percent points to 6.8 percent, compared to the same month in 2008
The Central Bank of Aruba (CBA) concludes that the Aruban economy is declining further. The revenues of the ‘bbo’-tax in March dropped with 8.7 percent compared to the same period last year. The revenues are a reflection of the profit mainly generated in the month before.
The number of overnight stays on the island during the months of February and March decreased, as well as the number of tourists residing on the island, as previously known. The number of residing tourists during the months of February and March decreased with respectively 7.7 and 13.3 percent compared to the same months in 2008. The number of overnight stays decreased with respectively 6.2 and 10.7 percent.

Change You Can Believe In … Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s Poll Numbers are Terrible, Only 1/3 would Re-elect
CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN … SENATE LEADER IN SOME REAL TROUBLE
Maybe this is what Barack Obama was referring to when he talked about hope and change you can believe in? Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid looks like he is in trouble in Nevada for his re-election bid. Only 1/3 of Nevada voters said they would re-elect Reid in the 2010 election while 45% said they would vote to replace him in a Washington-based Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. for the Review-Journal. Wow, this is the Senate Majority Leader with these numbers.
Nearly half of Nevadans have had enough of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as the powerful Democrat heads into his re-election campaign, a new Las Vegas Review-Journal poll finds.
About a third of the state’s voters would re-elect Reid if the 2010 election were held today, according to the poll, but 45 percent say they would definitely vote to replace him. Seventeen percent would consider another candidate.
Half of Nevada voters had an unfavorable view of Reid, while 38 percent had a favorable view and 11 percent a neutral opinion.
I guess many did not appreciate it when Reid said the Iraq war was lost. The Gateway Pundit says, Face it Harry, your election war is lost.

Nearly half of all Americans — 48 percent — disapprove of how the California Democrat she is handling her job as Speaker of the House in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday, while 39 percent approve of her performance.
That rating makes her less popular than other members of her party — congressional Democrats drew a 51 percent approval rating in last month’s CNN/ORC survey — and roughly in line with the congressional GOP, which drew positive ratings in April from just 39 percent of those polled.
This is what occurs when one makes false allegations to make them look good in an effort to demean and criticize GWB at all cost, even when he is no longer president. As Wake Up America states, this is what happens when one stands on a stage 5 times and lies.
Although the Rasmussen Poll shows that there is an even split between who is the telling the truth, the CIA or Pelosi, there is a huge gap in the favoribility rating with the CIA at 63% and Nancy Pelosi at 35%.
However, I have to agree with Allah Pundit at Hot Air, how is it possible that only two points separate whether the CIA or Pelosi is telling the truth? So much for the change that Obama was going to bring to Washington as the CIA-Pelosi poll is right down party lines Then this is the obligatory 16% of clueless, undecided Americans who just need to go back to watching reality TV.

Attorney Jose Baez and the Casey Anthony defense team will be in court today in an effort to get the Zenaida Gonzalez civil lawsuit case thrown out of court. Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzales filed a civil lawsuit against Casey Anthony for defamation of character after the tot mom, Casey Anthony, stated that she had left her 2 year old child, Caylee Anthony with the babysitter Zenaida. Casey Anthony accused Zanny the Nanny of kidnapping her child.
Casey Anthony & Jose Baez to be together again in Court Today
Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez wants the lawsuit thrown out. Baez claims that Gonzales’ attorney, John Morgan, is milking the lawsuit for free publicity.
Zenaida Gonzalez is suing Casey Anthony in civil court. She has the same name as the babysitter Casey Anthony claims took her daughter Caylee. Gonzalez says it has ruined her.
Attorney Jose Baez has the nerve to say that another attorney is milking this case for free publicity? No way Jose, you might want to take a good look in the mirror and check out your “glass” law office you work in before you start casting such stones.
Several people, including Anthony’s parents and brother, have been questioned under oath for depositions by John Morgan, Keith Mitnik and other attorneys at the law firm’s Orlando office.
From the Orlando Sentinel, Casey Anthony’s attorneys want the defamation case against her dismissed, claiming it was filed to generate publicity for a law firm with offices in Orlando.
