Obama promised change, you voted for change … YOU GOT CHANGE!

Never was the the following saying more true, don’t ask for things as they might just come true. Just because you may have voted for change, does not necessarily mean that Obama would offer the change that you envisioned. Bail outs, government take over of corporations, $ trillion budgets and  government spending creating deficits as far as the eye can see. Was it Socialism that you really wanted as a change?

Makes one wonder why this administration wanted a photo-op of Air Force One with Lady Liberty when they seem to have little regard for her.

Donald Trump Lets Miss California Carrie Prejean Keep her Crown … Same Answer that the president of the United States Gave

And the winner is … Carrie Prejean, Miss California and Freedom of Speech

After much speculation as to whether or not Donald Trump, the owner of the Miss USA Pageant, would let Carrie Prejean, Miss Cali keep her crown, the final vote is in and the answer is YES!

In the wake of the much discussed, criticized and ridiculed comments on gay marriage by Carrie Prejean during the question and answer part of The Miss USA Pageant, freedom of speech wins out in the end. What is most comical during all of the controversy over Carrie Prejean’s answer to gay marriage and the outrage from the LEFT, the gay community and Perez Hilton was the fact that President Barack Obama does have the same position.

At a press conference addressing Carrie Prejean’s disputed title in the Miss USA competition, pageant owner Donald Trump compared Prejean’s stated views on gay marriage to Obama’s.

“It’s the same answer that the president of the United States gave,” Trump said. “She gave an honorable answer. She gave an answer from her heart.”

In her own remarks moments later, Prejean echoed Trump’s statement, telling reporters: “The president of the United States, the secretary of state, and many Americans agree with me in this belief.”

The controversy over whether Miss California was supposedly over semi-nude pics that came out after the pageant; however, every person knew that the real issue was from intolerant people who could not stand Carrie Prejean’s answer to Perez Hilton’s question on gay marriage. In the end, The Donald made the final ruling that she could keep her crown.

Even in defeat the LEFT just can’t get over the fact that Miss Cali has the same position on gay marriage as does their Saviour and Chief, Barack Obama. The LEFT must some how diminish Carrie Prejean’s opinion that marriage should be between a man and a woman. They just can’t get over the fact that their Obamamessiah is against gay marriage and have to justify his opinion by saying that Obama is not a right-wing, religious conservative. However, I do give Kudos to  Liberal Values for the following comment regarding Obama and not sticking up to what he believes in.

I agree that giving her opinion, as well as posing semi-nude, should not be a reason to deny Prejean her title. While I agree with Trump’s decision, he was being rather simplistic in his comparison to Obama’s views. While Prejean is now campaigning against gay marriage, Obama at least is supporting civil unions. Prejean’s view on gay marriage comes from religious conservatism. Obama’s opposition unfortunately comes from political pragmatism. While Prejean is wrong on the issue, I guess she did do better than Obama in at least sticking up for what she believes is right.

White House Apologizes for White House Laughing at Wanda Sykes September 11 Humor at Correspondent’s Dinner

Isn’t this the type of behavior that Barack Obama wanted to change in Washington? All jokes aside, as some of the event was funny, there was a much deep seeded issue with this event.

The Wanda Sykes attempt at comedy is a much larger and far reaching one that just wishing that “Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys would fail.” It is a microcosm of all that presently is wrong with this administration. It was ok to sit back and laugh while jokes referencing September 11 were made. It was nothing more than a love-fest between the media and this president. More to the point, was not this event supposed to be a roast of the President? Are they afraid to make fun of him? Do they think the people might think that the joke may in fact be reality?

The LA Times is reporting that the White House did not see humor in the jokes that Wanda Sykes made at the President’s Correspondence Dinner over the weekend. Really? President Barack Obama appeared to be laughing at the jokes. Most everyone in the media present at this even also laughed at a joke pointed at the death of over 3000 Americans died.

 But to top it off, Sykes then tied Limbaugh to the tragedy and mass murders of 9/11.

“I think maybe Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker. But he was so strung out on Oxycontin that he missed his flight … I hope his kidneys fail. How about that?”

Why did the media feel the need to ask a question how President Barack Obama felt when Wanda Sykes made the joke about Rush Limbaugh being the 20th hijacker? They could see for them self in the video about that he laughed.

The White House Apologies for President Obama Laughing at a 9–11 Joke. Why does the White House feel the need to apologize for the White House? Were they not at the event to provide the proper reaction there?

Santa Ana, CA– Michelle Braun Kellener, facing indictment on Federal Charges for an alleged 8.5 Million dollar prostitution business is prepared to be a stoolie. After an 18 month FBI investigation, which Braun claims she was aware of, proceedings kicked off in court yesterday after filing a plea deal on March 31st. Braun’s attorney told reporters yesterday her Client “ran an investment fund”. Here we go again. It begs the question– is Michelle Braun the Madoff of Madams?

Oprah Winfrey Admits it Ain’t Fun Being Green … It’s Great to Have a Private Jet

We give OPRAH an A for honesty.

At a graduation speech at Duke University Oprah Winfey talked about the secret joys of success. Among those joys … owning a mansion and private jet.

“It’s great to have a nice home. It’s great to have nice homes! It’s great to have a nice home that just escaped the fire in Santa Barbara,” she told the students. “It’s great to have a private jet. Anyone that tells you that having your own private jet isn’t great is lying to you.”

She went on to explain that “you haven’t completed the circle of success until you help someone else move to a higher ground and get to a better place.”

Thank you Oprah. Although I disagree on numerous issues with the mega-media giant at least Oprah called it for what it was and did not hide behind liberal guilt that she is rich. She did not pretend as most rich people do today, especially the rich politicians, that they do not need or want the luxuries in life. However, they tell you, “We the People” that we should do without.

Nancy Pelosi is taking a page from that classic commercial when it comes to telling lies regarding her knowledge of waterbaording. By the way, the answer is three. By the way Nancy, how many lies does it take before you will get to to truth?

How many lies will Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tell this week as to her knowledge of waterboarding and when she knew it. At some point she just needs to come clean, take her medicine and admit the obvious truth. Pelosi has made a non-issue into a 2010 midterm campaign issue. As referenced at Sundries Shack, it would appear that Nancy Pelosi is going for the “Lying hat Trick”. It would appear that Pelosi’s most recent attempt at a fabrication was, that she couldn’t object in 2003.

Natalee Holloway Cold Case Exhibit Unveiled at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in Washington by John Walsh & Beth Holloway

The never ending battle for “Justice for Natalee.”

The spotlight has once again been shown of the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.  Alabama teen Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba on May 30, 2005. After all the media spotlight, after all the arrests, the searches, the interrogation,  the suspect lies and admissions of guilt there have been no new recent leads in the case. The National Museum of Crime and Punishment is helping to put the case back in the spotlight as Natalee’s case is the newest addition to the Unsolved Crimes exhibit.

Beth Holloway attended the unveiling Monday afternoon in Northwest Washington to honor her daughter.

“In some way I hope Natalee’s case can represent a lot of these young adults that are missing and are most likely murdered,” Holloway told Fox 5.

These words came from the mouth of the many who will quadrupled the national debt this year. Obama dared lecture anyone on the last 8 years of spending? During the election Obama portrayed spending as a bad thing. Was this the change you voted for?
