The latest from the lips of Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is that she is accusing intelligence officials of giving her “inaccurate and incomplete information” on the use of waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics by the Bush administration.

In her first public comments on the matter since an intelligence report contradicted her recollections, Pelosi, D-Calif., told reporters today that she was never told about the fact that waterboarding had been used on a terrorist suspect, even though terrorist suspect Abu Zubaydah had been waterboarded a month before she was briefed on the subject in Sept. 2002.

“The only mention of waterboarding at that briefing was that it was not being employed,” Pelosi said, reading from a prepared statement. “Those briefing me in Sept. 2002 gave me inaccurate and incomplete information.”

Is Nancy Pelosi really going to pit her word against that of the CIA? Will it be as Jules Crittenden speculates, is Pelosi hedging her bet that the CIA will remain quiet, keeping its agents out of the limelight. Pelosi has told so many fabrications regarding this story that she is pot committed with no way out with a Jack high, unsuited. Does Pelosi really want to add more chips to the pot on a bluff when even MSNBC does not believe her?

The University of North Dakota Fight Sioux is the latest in the political correctness mascot naming to lose their “Indian” mascot. What a joke! Could some one please explain to me how the “Fighting Sioux” name could possibly be demeaning to American Indians? Seriously, should they be referred to the “candy-A#$ Sioux”? What could possibly be wrong with depicting anyone as a fierce warrior? Are you going to tell me that Sitting Bull was not a “Fighting Sioux”? Makes one have a new found respect for the audacity of the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Black Hawks.

North Dakota’s Board of Higher Education has agreed to drop the University of North Dakota’s Fighting Sioux nickname and Indian head logo, a move intended to resolve a decades-long campus dispute about whether the name demeans American Indians.

The name and logo, which is a profile of an American Indian man with feathers and streaks of paint on his face, could still be saved if North Dakota’s Standing Rock and Spirit Lake Sioux tribes agree by Oct. 1 to give the university permission to use them for at least 30 years.

However, tribal officials say that possibility is remote. Unless the name and logo receive tribal endorsement, they will be retired for good on Aug. 1, 2010.

Miss California USA Executive Director Shanna Moakler Resigns Over Carrie Prejean Keeping Crown

I am sorry and hope I have not let any young supporters down but wish them the best of luck in fulfilling their dreams.” Miss California USA pageant director Keith Lewis told Us in a statement: “Shanna has, and will continue to be, a large part of my life. Although I am sad she has come to this decision, I will always respect the convictions that brought her to this place.”

Larry King asks the Anthony’s why people, especially people on the blogs are critical of them. Cindy Anthony’s response to Larry’s questions is, because they don’t understand. Actually Cindy, we understand all to much and that is your problem. Not only does Cindy Anthony live in a world of denial when it comes to the fact that her daughter, Casey Anthony, murdered their grand daughter, but she is in complete denial and clueless as to why people, bloggers, are critical of them. President Barack Obama has reversed his decision and has decided not to release detainee abuse photos citing that it would put American troops in harms way and create a backlash against Americans. Kudos to President Obama for stepping up and making a smart move that protect America. As the Jawa Report states, Obi-One finally gains some wisdom. There comes a point in time where ever President must start acting like a President, a Commander & Chief and not just a Campaigner & Chief. They President must do what is right for the best interest of the United States. As stated at Wizbang, “Not only was this the sensible position regarding the safety of our troops and security of our country, but I suspect Obama came to realize this was the only smart political option for him as well.”

Kay Barragan, 65, who loaned her husband $2,000 in 1976 to start the bedding business, was found at the bottom of a flight of stairs at her Searingtown home about 7 a.m.

COLEMAN FAMILY MURDERED: SHERI, GARRETT, GAVIN CHRIS COLEMAN LAWYERS UP

Columbia, Ill– In the early morning hours of May 5, 2009, Columbia police were called to check on the welfare of Chris Coleman’s wife and children.

Sheri 31, Garrett 11, and Gavin 9, were found strangled in the family’s home at 2854 Robert Drive. Chris Coleman, Sheri’s husband and the boys Father, called police from his cell phone on his way home from a 5:30am visit to the Gym. When he did not get a response during the short drive, he called police expressing concern for their welfare. Coleman arrived on the scene shortly after police discovered the deceased.
