Who needs a “war on terror” when we have people in the Obama Administration who are just “plane” stupid.
A perfect storm of idiocy led to a frightening 9/11 flashback for thousands of New Yorkers Monday when a jumbo jet and an F-16 fighter jet buzzed lower Manhattan without warning.
On September 11, 2001 not one, but two planes hijacked by Muslim Islamofascists terrorists flew into the World Trader Center Twin Towers and brought them down. An incident that left an indelible mark in the history of the Unites States as on that day, September 11, over 3000 innocent people lost their lives in this terrorist attack. A point in history that Obama’s folks seem to have forgotten. One might imagine that New Yorkers get a little nervous when a plane flies what is perceived to be too low over Manhattan, NY as they harken back to that fateful morning.

Flash-forward to the Obama Administration and these brilliant wizards who think it is perfectly acceptable to do a fly over of NYC in the area around Ground Zero this morning. Needly to say, NYC Mayor Bloomberg was furious and many residents became frightened triggering memories of 9-11 as many evacuated their offices. Let’s guess the Obama spin, they were just making sure NYC was prepared for another terrorist plane attack by flying a plane low near Ground Zero.
Over the course of a half-hour starting at 10 a.m, the plane flew low over the city and near the Statue of Liberty (4/27/09).
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is “furious” over a Department of Defense low-altitude fly over of NYC in the area around Ground Zero this morning, calling it “ill-conceived” and a “waste of taxpayers’ money.”
A photo shoot involving a 747 used as Air Force One and one fighter jet flying at low altitude led to hundreds of frightened calls from residents and workers in Lower Manhattan this morning, triggering memories of 9-11 as many evacuated their offices. The president was not aboard.
A Photo op? This was done for a photo-op!!! Not only are your hard earned tax paying dollars being used for this ridiculous nonsense, but these people thought buzzing Manhattan was some how appropriate in a post 9–11 world.
The White House at first denied knowing what was going on. That was until officials said the White House Military Office told the Federal Aviation Administration that it periodically updates file photos of Air Force One near national landmarks.
White House apologizes for Fly over
White House Military Office Director Louis Caldera issued a brief statement saying he was too blame.
“Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision,” he said. “While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, its clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused.”
Michelle Malkin writes that according to some reports Barack Obama was furious was well with the fly over; however, this is the same president who sat through an anti-American diatribe by Daniel Ortega without batting an eye.

My cousin lives in Manhattan near the trade center.
She almost had a heart attack as the jumbo jet and an F-16 fighter jet buzzed bye her window. As a tax payer I feel President Obama needs to pay for this photo opt out of his pocket. Instead of my pocket. The tax payers pockets!
From watching TV and the LAST election I thought they had forgotten about 911. Maybe I was wrong. If the thought of an attack is so scary why did they VOTE for OBAMA.
A White House official told ABC News that President Obama was “furious” to hear about the plane incident. Caldera was called into a meeting with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina.

During these high tech times one could easily use computer generated graphics and animation to make it appear that the plane was flying low over the island as just as realistically, so there was really no need to have it done physically at all.
What on earth is an “islamofascist?” Fascism’s hallmark was the combination of state and corporate interests, along with strict societal control. Did Al Quaeda have corporate aspirations beyond bin Laden’s family’s associations with Bush Sr.’s Carlysle group?

My brother in law was a block away at ground zero,on 9/11~ he’s still affected to this day~ we lost a friend in the first plane into the tower and then, a neighbor on the other plane…into the other tower… what horrors and there are no words to express sympathy to the families who lost their loved ones to this act of terrorism.
What an outrageous thing to do ~ with today’s photo opting being able to edit photography, do you think this plane needed to fly low over the statue of liberty?… you’ve got to be kidding me… and with today’s technology, couldn’t Obama have said… today, we’re flying a plane low over NYC, with an Air Force One and an F15… just for sh**ts and giggles… oops, sorry…

This is not only stupid…but given the reasons for doing it…I would say it is borderline insane! [and we thought Crazy Eddie retired to Israel]
Can you imagine what the New York Times editorial would print if this was a Bush Administration gaff? Don’t think so. If the editorial page writers do an editorial blasting the “Oh Bama” underlings….I will personally donate $10,000 to the New York Times Neediest cases…..

Haven’t seen anything about this in the mainstream media, has anyone else? This is exactly why I think that outlet needs to die. They are so one-sided and seem to be controlled by the Government. I’m so over it, I would much rather get my news from the internet, seems to be more telling of important events that really matter.
