BLAH BLAH BLAH Fully funded & fully paid for by the Right-wing conservative Corporate Americans and Rupert Murdoch of FOULNEWS. Those 2 guys interviewed by the CNN reporter who couldn’t give the definition of the word Fascist and the other guy that was ramblings about Lincoln, they are the perfect example why the Republican party is in disarray..They are nothing but a constant reminder as to what party was in the White House for 8 yrs culminating to this RECESSION + 2 WARS. Hey what happened to Bobby Jindal??? They couldn’t win the Senate seat in MN, and they couldn’t win the Congressional seat in New York. The Republicans are in a funk, loss in the wind and reduced to a tea party with their OWN conservative base! WOW!

Most of the teabaggers are middle class and white (no black, brown, nor yellow faces i seen) ” these protesters are uninformed and vulnerable to demagogues.
They don”t know that Obama is fighting for their rights and benefit – they believe the rich guys who are lying to them, and laughing at their stupidity and gullibility

OBAMA GOT YOU BENT OVER YET SON ?

Those stupid people are just out there because they are dittoheads. Fox Noise told them to go out there yesterday and hoop and hollar about whatever, and they did it. Only a total idiot would protest a tax that is not affecting them. Only a total idiot would stand out in freezing rain to picket for rich people and their corporate friends. How TOtally IGNORANT these people are.

These are the people that don’t understand plain English, and make it out to be something the exact opposite, then get mad about it. The President has said, for 2 whole years, that he will NOT raise taxes for ANYONE making LESS than $250,000 a year. None of those jackasses make that kind of money so why are they protesting somebody else’ taxes that can afford to pay them and SHOULD be paying more? Just totally stupid fools.

    5. SUPER DAVE on April 16th, 2009 10:28 am

TO THE THREE FLIP FLOP O CRATS: you guys believe everything barry boy says. he has lied his way to the whitehouse, don’t forget cheating by taking illegal contributions and acorn buying votes and bullying those who are against barry.
he “will not expand government” he says and look at his promise now.
he read his promises to you from a teleprompter and could not use his own words if his life depended on it. empty promises, empty words, empty suit.

It amazes me how many liberals still don’t get it. They are completely clueless as to why the “tea party” even exists and they call us ignorant & stupid. They will never get it.

Hey Super Dave, nice comment. I like how you respond to an intelligent comment by saying something even more intelligent. “Got you bent over”?????? Real nice. This website choses to show some things that I do not agree with, but it is people like you who make it all the much easier to disagree with them.

      Grassroots at it’s finest!

The unreasonable stuff this current administration
(Congress) is imposing on The People is an exact
duplication of the attempt to Declare a Dictatorship
in America circa: 1930s. 1.) Break dollar, 2.) blame
Capitalist System, 3.) trash the Constitution.

Fourth of July is coming. What an opportunity to let
American oppressed taxpayers to become a factor in
      the management of their future!

Please pass the felt-tip markers, thanks.

250,000 then 200,000 then 150,000 then 100,000 well all this money i am spending and nobody to pay for it. 75,000 then 70,000 then you idot liberals.

    10. joe on April 16th, 2009 12:07 pm

only idiots wait till something effects their lives to protest.

    11. scott on April 16th, 2009 12:56 pm

#4 you are about as dumb as the day is long!

Obama said he that nobody under $250K would not see ONE tax increase…well how about the Federal Cig tax which affects the poorest of people because those people smoke more. More of those are coming down the pipe.

Only a total idiot like you would drink the kool-aide and believe that Obama can pay for the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS (he just printed 1.2B a few weeks ago) without raising taxes on those below $250K. The CBO has already come out and said he can not make up the spending by taxing just those earning above $250K. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU MOUTH IS…taxes will rise for those under $250K, well they have already.

Only a total idiot would believe that Obama will not start taxing Social Security and Medicare.

Only an idiot would listen to the jokes stations of CNN and MSNBC who are so far below FOX in the ratings that they are laughed upon. There is a reason FOXNEWS is the #1 in America.

Only an idiot would believe that FoxNews is the one who put this together and told people to go out there and do it.

Only a complete dips*it moron would make a statement that people were protesting a tax that does not affect them. Have you been hiding under a rock? This was not about Obama’s tax policies but rather spending OUR hard earned tax dollars in the largest government spending proposal in US HISTORY! This was about putting our/MY children in debt for years.

Only a liberal puke tree hugging global warming f****t

#2 protect what rights and benefits? Go back to 5th grade class before you get in trouble.

Ryan – you’re a dumbass. Everybody knows the Democrats STOLE (that’s right, STOLE) the election in MN. And as for New York, a VERY liberal state, the race was a lot tighter than people expected which is showing a trend towards gaining ground. They won the one in Georgia now didn’t they. You are very un-educated to think this all started under Bush. You may want to go talk to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank about Fannie and Freddie and Countrywide. You may want to go back and read the Community Investment Act AND you may also want to go and do some research that banks were FORCED to give out these loans under the CI Act or they would face stiff penalities. I bet from 2000-2004 you were out there driving an Escalade or buying up flat screen TVs off your refianancing of your house. I bet you took full advantage yet you are on here being a hypocrite.

BTW, who was in charge in Congress during this RECESSION? When did this recession “really” start? 2006-07? Yep…. Frank and Dodd and Pelosi.

Why don’t all 3 of yourselves a favor and actually KNOW something instead of the using the same old tired Obama and liberal talking points! Open up your brain and use it. Create an opinion for yourself instead of having the government control what you say!

      DUMB DUMBER and DUMBEST!

    12. Leonard on April 16th, 2009 1:11 pm

Looking at these pictures reminds me of the mob rallies held during the 60′s protesting Dr. King and the Civil Rights movement. In fact, some of the signs seem to be recycled and are reminiscent of signs labeling King as Hitler, as a Marxist or socialist, as someone who wanted to destroy America, etc.

I often wondered if the people captured in our collective memory of the 60′s ever looked back and felt shame for participating in such hate, or did they simply hold onto their hate, hold onto their signs and pass them onto their children for the next threat to their sick worldview.

I acknowledge that many of those who participated in these rallies have legitimate concerns and that their concerns are not partisan. But so many more simply used this occasion as an opportunity to spew their fear and hatred of President Obama, not because of anything he’s done, but because of who and what he is.

Maybe, as with King in the 60′s, this is just something America has to go through to get to the other side of this paradigm change. But one would think that almost 50 years after King, the hurdle wouldn’t still be so high!

    13. Travis on April 16th, 2009 1:14 pm

The funny thing about these folks is that MOST of them will be benefiting from president Obama’s tax cuts, and i bet you had his government done nothing to solve the problems, Fox news will be first in line denoucing his administration as incompetent. The bottom line is they are scared because they cannot stand seeing an educated, well spoken, successful, well respected BLACK president all over the world on track to an eight (8) year term presidency.. Wait until the end of his first term to pass your judgment, if he fails to produce, the majority of Americans that voted him in office will not re-elect him. All these nonsense by fox news, and their cronies are mere pretense of their racist ideology

    14. Rusty Bridges on April 16th, 2009 1:19 pm

Wow, a bunch of “stupid fools” sure have a lot of liberals and Obama admin worried.

#4 and other liberals that call us stupid, why don’t you use your energy and tell us how you plan to pay back this trillion dollar deceit. No tax increase? maybe for the first 2 years and then the same old song and dance. It might work on you, but then again, you are a moron. The other option is inflation, which do you prefer?

#1, Fox and repubs are jumping on the bandwagon. This is grass roots and has been brewing for sometime now. Go fire one up and curl up on the beanbag I think anderson cooper is on. Try not to touch yourself, barry is watching.

#2, that statement makes you a racist. Many people at my rally where white, A LOT were hispanic and a few african americans where there too as well as asian and many other nationalities if that matters to you. Many Obama voters were there too, although I don’t know why they admit that. Maybe if you went you would see more than the MSM is telling you, but like all liberals you want the easy way out.

Oh, and the “teabagger/teabag” thing is old and at best a third grade joke. Try and act your age so you don’t embarrass yourself too badly in public.

What gets me is that there were no anti tea party protesters there, zip. So maybe you liberals are in the minority now. You might want to get your head out of the sand and try and find out why. Most of the people that voted for Obama voted for history and now they are done with voting.

I learned a lot at my tea party, I never knew some of the things that this, and the previous administrations pulled behind our backs, ALL of our backs! They are not on our side and are using us to line their pockets. We are protesting that and nothing more. But pull the race card as often as you want, it will eventually wear out. But don’t worry, barry has a whole case in his desk for you. He will be handing them out to imaginary freinds when this is all over and he is dumped by his big banker/union handlers.

Oh yeah, I didn’t see any right wing extremists or terrorist there either. I was kind of dissapointed as I have never seen one up close. I think Clinton killed them all.

Your heroes plan is all full of holes, it’s been tried and failed world wide. Sit on your duff while it falls around you but don’t cry about it when the bill comes.

100′s of black people standing in line for section 8 housing yesterday in Ft. Pierce, FL turned away for lack of housing. And Barack Obama wants to grant amnesty to illegal aliens? Where is the logic in that? He is giving Florida millions of dollars to build a brand new bridge for the elite to drive to their plush homes while these poor people go without housing. The old bridge is just fine and is fairly new. I thought bush was the one that hated black people?

He also pissed a lot of cuban americans off by sending the black caucus to cuba to apologize for relatives of the cuban americans standing in front of castros firing squads and wasting fidels bullets. They are mad is an understatement. Of course the media will tell you different.

His plan makes no sense, look at the facts like most of the educated people at these tea parties have and it will be clear what the problem is. It is so obvious when you have the facts. You won’t find the facts in the MSM, they want it all to fail so they have a story.

C’mon, bring on the usual name calling and righty bashing because that is all you got, blah blah whawawawa….

come back when you have an intelligent response, that will be never.

      Bye!

    15. ryan rattigan on April 16th, 2009 1:19 pm

The deficits that Bush created, Obama’s spending to try to keep America from totally tanking while trying to rebuild its infrastructure, investing in education, and trying to decrease America dependency on oil.
      Where is your truth, tr011?
Where were you when Bush was creating this mess AND starting an illegal war, giving tax breaks to the wealthy, and shredding the Constitution?
Seems like spending is okay as long as it is focused on the war and wealthy.

    16. Bianca on April 16th, 2009 1:23 pm

Do these idiots even know why and what they are protesting against? No one wants the government to come in and help stabilize the economy, so how do these geniuses propose we fix this? The bulk of the protesters are bandwagonists who have no idea what is going on. They all just keep repeating what they are the other one saying.

    17. Roberto on April 16th, 2009 2:43 pm

The Republican party reminds me of the guy working for the argument clinic in Monty Python’s sketch. They’ve been reduced to knee jerk contradiction. Barack Obama lowers taxes, they’re against it because he’s redistributing wealth. Barack Obama rescues an America ship captain, they’re mad because… well I’m not sure why exactly but they’re upset. Barack Obama comes out against violent fascist extremist and these people side with the extremists JUST to be able to contradict whatever position Obama has. Obama should give a public speech condemning Hitler just so Malkin and Hannity can defend him.

    18. Dan on April 16th, 2009 2:45 pm

My sense from these tea-bagging folks is that it seems a lot of them just can’t get over the November election; they just can’t accept that their side lost — badly. It seemed like many of the people weren’t really mad about taxes (based on the signs they carried around), they were just mad at Obama over everything from his birth certificate to his “bowing” to the Saudi king. It seemed to be more of an anti-Obama protest than anything else to me.

    19. luke on April 16th, 2009 2:51 pm

Over in Europe they have poor and middle class people protesting against the wealthy oligarchy that screwed over their economy and put many of them out of work…..meanwhile here in America, we have idiotic poor and middle class Republican – “tea-baggers” – who are protesting against the richest 1-2%, big corporations and big oil getting a small tax increase while they themselves (because of President Obama and the Dems) are receiving the largest tax cut in history for the middle class and the poor.

Thanks to propaganda outlets in America like Fixed News Channel and Mullah Limbaugh etc, we have some of the dumbest people in the world living here and they all reside in the Republican party.

    20. joe on April 16th, 2009 2:57 pm

    21. Natalia on April 16th, 2009 2:59 pm

Part of me really wishes these people actually knew what socialism is, let alone why it is “bad” and why they should be so afraid of it. Does anyone honestly think that by 2011 they will be walking into a government-owned, government-run grocery store to buy government soda, government dog food, and government feminine hygiene products? No? Well, then stop braying about socialism and get real.

I don’t need to be the 5 millionth person to point out that these people are stupid, crazy, patently unserious, paranoid, selfish grievance-mongers. They have no idea what they’re for, no idea what they’re against (other than the current president, his party and possibly his ethnicity), and no idea who or what is responsible for either one. I don’t usually use such harsh language on here, but I’m getting frustrated with this sort of nonsense. It’s unproductive, unreasonable, unreasoned and will not even get these people what they think/say/believe/have been told they want, let alone help the country.

    22. joe on April 16th, 2009 3:00 pm

#16 so you think tens of thousands took to the streets and they didn’t know what for. what about all the african americans who took to the streets on election day who probably never voted for a single thing in there life. yeah they came out of nowhere and voted for someone they new nothing about.

    23. Michelle Smith on April 16th, 2009 3:01 pm

      Ah…the Printing Presses!

Money is actually only worth what that goods and labor
that went into it are. When it is simply printed and handed
out, it is essentially worthless. Bank accounts, money under
the mattress, and cash in your pocket shrink in direct proportion
to the amount being printed and ‘distributed’. Remember the
‘chain letters’? Only those issuing the original ‘chain letter’
(first names on the list) would get the ‘goods’ from fools.
Obama is issuing ‘Chain Letters’ right now and he is
getting the goods without your permission!

Why would anyone care what Marsha Blackburn has to say? She is Part Of The Problem.

Economic Stimulus. H.R. 5140, the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, passed 385-35 on January 29, 2008 (Roll Call 25). It would provide about $150 billion in economic stimulus, including $101.1 billion in direct payments of rebate checks (typically $600) to most taxpayers in 2008 and temporary tax breaks for businesses. Creating money out of thin air and then spending the newly created money cannot improve the economy, at least not in the long term. (If it could, why not create even more money for rebates and make every American a millionaire?) The stimulus has no offset and thus increases the federal deficit by the amount of the stimulus because the government must borrow the rebate money. A realistic long-term stimulus can only be achieved by lowering taxes through less government and by reducing regulatory burdens. Marsha Blackburn voted FOR this bill.(Source: The New American – July 21, 2008)

      Marsha Blackburn is my Congressman.
      She is no conservative.

I know exactly why I was there in protest. I don’t think that the government should be spending the money it is. Yes the left will say “well Bush was spending for 8 years.” Yes he did. Bush *added to* already trillions of dollars in debt. We already had a mountain of debt when he took office. Yes the deficit was lower but the national debt was not zero. To justify the trillions that Obama is unleashing on us by saying Bush did the same thing is hypocritical at best. Bush spent like a liberal. He increased the size of gov’t. I don’t get why the Obama big government supporters didn’t LOVE Bush. I didn’t hear the liberals saying much when he added to the entitlement programs and went on his spending spree. Last I checked Congress was Democrat since ’06. They didn’t put up much of a fight did they?

You just made an idiot out of yourself. Biggest tax cut in history? ha ha ha ha ha ha! Reagan cut taxes across the board, meaning middle class and poor, by 25%. Learn your history boy. Don’t think Obama’s $8 average a week tax cut is anywhere close to Reagan. Not to mention that when Obama’s Cap and Trade goes through, that will cost about $1800 per family per year. Yep, that’s gonna wipe that $416/year right out, huh?
You have no business on a forum like this spouting your lies. Get a life and learn the truth.

    33. Right Wing Extremist on April 16th, 2009 11:16 pm

You know, it’s funny. I’ve never been called a rascist in my life. I work with the poor, alot of African Americans. I could care less what color Obama’s skin is. If he was a white man, I’d be just as pissed off at what he’s proposing to do to this country. Playing the race card is below the belt. You should all be ashamed. I was proud on Inauguration Day that America had finally gotten the race thing right. I was hopeful that even though I didn’t agree with BO, that he, as an AA, could bring some healing to our nation. Instead, fools and hypocrites like you continue to play the race card. Again, shame on you.

HA HA HA…liberals are touting Obama tax REFUND as a tax cut? The whole $8 a week? And then the government is going to cut checks to those who don’t pay a federal income tax. You people are FOOLS!

And to the clueless tool that compared the tea parties to the Civil Rights protests…you surely are mentally unstable and should seek immediate medical attention! You should switch the channel off CNN and MSNBC. There were no people with signs that slurred Obama or called him racist names. There were no people there with white hoods.

The difference between conservative protests and liberal protests is cons. protests are peaceful and orderly while liberal protests get ugly and most times violent. HISTORY proves that!

Ah…Reagan oversaw the greatest economic growth in a non-war era. The 80′s were prosperous and he pulled us out of the mess CREATED by Jimmy Carter. That tells me that you have no clue what you are saying or what your stance is except that you want revenge. Isn’t that what you accuse the tea party protesters of. That is the same clueless stary eyed attitude that you voted with for Obama. You just wanted to make history, ahhh, that is so cute. First time voters are like bambis in the forrest aren’t they.

Trust me, 99% of the people at these rallys know why they are there. They are educated and see what is going on with their govt. Just because they lash out at the president they are racist? The president is the one who is responsible for the PRESENT policies being pushed through. The current president is the one who can change the direction that this country is going, that is why signs have his name on it you idiot. Oh yeah, and the other 1% at the rallys where the huffy post citizen reporters. You could tell who they where by there unkept look and weasely demeanor.

OMG! These tea parts really brought out the loons. Looks like it struck a nerve. I find it hilarious that once again the race card is being played. Anytime someone disagrees with Obama it’s because they are racist. Come on! Surely you dems can do better than that. I and 99% of the people that were at these tea parties know exactly why we were there. The liberals don’t want to hear that WE are tired of the government trying to control our lives, they would rather sling insults. The CNN reporter wouldn’t even let the guy tell her why he was there. Maybe if she shut her pie hole long enough & listen she would see what we are concerned about & why we feel like we are being screwed by our government. It’s Pelosi, Dodd, Frank, Reid, etc. etc. not just Obama, so it’s not a race issue. You can’t talk intelligently to a liberal, they are so brainwashed they can’t see straight. PATHETIC!

All you conservatives whining about taxes, try living for awhile without your paved roads, your nice parks, your ambulances, your police, your firefighters, your postal service, your social security, your medicare, your law enforcement, etc.

Taxes are a necessity for a modern government and society to function. You don’t want to pay taxes? Fine, go live in the middle of a jungle somewhere in a tent. Otherwise, grow up.

The vast majority of those attending these “rallies” were the common haters of Obama. Their hate is a natural reaction and many of them do not even know why. That is why there are all these wild claims that are not based in fact. These people are largely racist folks. Many of whom would never consider themselves racist. This is merely an avenue for them to express their hate and outrage that a black man is POTUS. It is predictable that the GOP will use this condition as a means to an end. I am betting the end will be the GOP as the vast majority of Americans are better than that and have come to realize the current power structure in the GOP consists of people most of us would never trust with the lives of our children. The Democrats have only managed not to slip as badly as the GOP. Just as the percentage of difference in the genetic code between chimps and humans is very small, the difference between the Democrats and the Republican is smaller than most people realize.

#41: and you would trust a foriegner and a muslim
to run your country. we don’t care what color this person is be it black, purple, yellow, red.
you fuel your own fire of hate with your ridiculous racial comments.
we want a president, not someone who knob polishes known terrorists, attends birthday parties of known terrorists, supports burning of christian churches in kenya (his own birthplace),writes books about hate for whites, has a wife that makes statements about hating whitey. now who is the actual racist ? come on, spout some more of your racial crap so we can have a laugh.

#40 Whoa! See you don’t get it. It’s not about paying taxes, it’s about what our tax money is being used for. I don’t have a problem paying my fair share of taxes but I’m tired of the government trying to tell me what to do with my money. I’m tired of the government spending my taxes on bullshit. I don’t have a problem with my taxes paying for roads, schools, police, fire, ambulance. I do have a problem with my tax money paying for illegals to live in this country. I do have a problem with my tax money paying for abortions, I do have a problem with my tax money paying for medical expenses for illegals living in this country. I do have a problem with my tax money paying for some low-life person to sit on their ass and do nothing. I do not agree with this spread the wealth crap. I do have a problem with universal health care. I do have a problem with cap & trade. I do have a problem with all these large bailouts with my tax money.

Why is it every time someone disagrees with Obama’s idiotic policies, they are labeled a racist? Can the dems not come up with a better excuse for hating on the repubs? This is getting old. There were dems & repubs at the tea parties. There were blacks, white, asians, latino’s at these tea parties yet all I keep hearing is it’s about race. That is a bunch of bull.

#44, michelle, did you really expect a reasonable and well thought out argument from an ultra-liberal democrat? if they had functional brains, they’d be republicans or at least independents.
