Howard Fineman Questions if Barack Obama Has the Right Stuff and if There is … A Turning Tide

Are members of the media finally questioning President Barack Obama? Howard Fineman in his recent Newsweek article, ‘A Turning Tide’, begins to question and doubt whether The One is really the one after all.

Obama still has the approval of the people, but the establishment is beginning to mumble that the president may not have what it takes.

Surfer that he is, President Obama should know a riptide when he’s in one. The center usually is the safest, most productive place in politics, but perhaps not now, not in a once-in-a-century economic crisis.

Swimming in the middle, he’s denounced as a socialist by conservatives, criticized as a polite accommodationist by government-is-the-answer liberals, and increasingly, dismissed as being in over his head by technocrats.

If a responsible media had actually questioned and vetted Barack Obama during the Democratic primaries rather than fawning over him and gushing like groupies at a rock concert maybe we would already know the answer today whether Obama had the right stuff to be a leader. As Newsbusters points out, “without the unprofessional and unconditional support of an adoring media, Barack Obama would never have gotten past the Iowa caucuses let alone John McCain”.

Drew Peterson Looks to Marry Wife #5 and Pay Per View Fights … Step Brother Thomas Morphey Fears he Helped Dispose body of Stacy Peterson in Blue Barrel

While Drew Peterson makes a mockery of justice … step brother Thomas Morphey has some major concerns.

23 year old Stacy Peterson, the wife of Drew Peterson has been missing since October 28, 2007 in Bolingbrook, IL. Drew’s third wife Kathleen Savio died in 2004 after supposedly accidently drowning in a bath tub and whose body was later exhumed and death  changed to a homicide. What are the odds that one wife dies of mysterious causes and another goes missing? A far reaching coincidence for most to stomach.

With two previous tragedies weighing on Drew Peterson’s mind, what does he find important to do with his life? How about duping on again, off again fiance Christina Raines into becoming wife #5? Christina Raines is on record of saying about Drew, “I don’t think he’ll ever hurt me.”  Think?

With the spousal demise track record of Drew Peterson’s wifes, one better do better than just think. What else is Drew doing? How about challenging people to fight in pay per view events. Who knew that there was a smarmy suspected felony death match show in syndication? Didn’t we see these same type of events play out with O.J. Simpson when we was never convicted? Same story, different suspect.

As Drew Peterson makes a joke of not taking either of his past wives death or disappearance seriously, his step brother is doing so. Thomas Morphey fears that he aided Drew Peterson in the disposing of Stacy Peterson’s body in a blue barrel.

Thomas Morphey, the stepbrother, told the Herald News that he thinks Stacy, 23, was in the blue barrel that he helped remove from the Petersons’ home in Bolingbrook, Ill., and put into a car.

When is enough, enough? The Senate is poised today to vote on a$410 billion spending bill today covering foreign aid and domestic agency budgets which includes some 8,000 earmark pet projects. Even some Democrats realize that the American public does not have the stomach for the continued drunken sailor spending and that there will be hell to pay come midterm elections.

Hey America, how do you like these apples? So many Americans did not get pay raises this year due to the economic hard times and the government tells corporate America that CEO’s and officers should not get them either. Yet, in the $410 billion Omnibus bill, politicians get an automatic pay raise. There is an amendment to make politicians stand up and be accountable for their pay raise. Accountability? NEVER!!!

Wikipedia has sadly gone from character approved to just another on-line bias, water carrying, in the tank Barack Obama propagandist on-line site. According to World Net Daily, Wiki has scrubbed all information with regards to The Chosen One’s associations with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and controversial Reverend Jeremiah Wright has been scrubbed from the Barack Obama Wiki. So much for informing people of the truth. We might as well write off Wikipedia for being any kind of legitimate source if founder Jimmy Wales is going to allow this.

Wikipedia, the online “free encyclopedia” mega-site written and edited entirely by its users, has been deleting within minutes any mention of eligibility issues surrounding Barack Obama’s presidency, with administrators kicking off anyone who writes about the subject, WND has learned.

As Wizbang points out … Nice consistency Wiki. The Bio’s of George W. Bush and John McCain hardly resemble the same sensitive censorship. The LEFT must make sure the truth of anything bad ever is read by “We the People”.  Wikipedia is not special, exceptional or character approved, its just more blatant liberal hypocrisy and bias.

Wiki and Jimmy Wales are character approved huh? The sum of human knowledge? Hardly. It would more appear to be the sum of censored opinion and a bias that is nothing any more different that reading a liberal newspaper or magazine. In a bio you take the good with the bad and one bases their opinion of a complete picture. Obviously, the intention of Wiki was to have people act responsibly, not as partisans. The couple was spotted outside the Putnam County Courthouse, Misty was proud to show off her new ring. Because nothing says focusing and finding a missing 5 year old Haleigh Cummings like getting married.

Today will mark the first time since I came onboard with Scared Monkeys that Dana Pretzer has missed recording a daily commentary. We received a quick email message from Dana’s son explaining that Dana’s father has entered the hospital again. Dana has gone to be by his dad’s side during his illness and as such will not be able to record a daily commentary today – perhaps not until later this week.

Casey Anthony Attorney Jose Baez: Empty Your Wallet on the Desk

Orlando, FL– Late this afternoon Prosecutors filed a motion to reveal how Casey Anthony, facing murder charges in the death of her daughter, 34 month old Caylee Marie Anthony, is footing the bill. Ms. Anthony has not had gainful employment with the exception of stealing from others since 2006.

Neither George nor Cindy Anthony, Casey’s parents, have worked since Casey’s arrest in July 2008.
