PEW Research: Obama’s Approval Numbers are Falling … There are Consequences to Spending

As Obama’s approval poll numbers fall I guess his peeps would say that his fundamental poll numbers are sound. Actually, the dirty little secret is … Obama is a liberal.

The bloom is falling off the Barack Obama support. In just over 50 days in office Barack Obama’s approval ratings are falling as a second major polling firm shows and erosion and chink in the Obama armor. The Pew Research Center reports that Obama’s approval rating has slipped from 64% in February to 59% while The One’s disapproval rating has risen from 17% to 26% during the same period.

Obama is finally being exposed for the wolf in moderate sheep’s clothing that he really is. Even as CNN tries to defend Obama’s poll numbers there is no doubt that American’s have become uneasy at Obama’s willingness to embrace the liberal left and to spend, spend, spend without regard. As Red State  appropriately puts it, the American public has discovered that Obama is a liberal. Make all the excuses you want for Obama, if we do not come out of this economic mess it is an Obama Recession and he will own it. There is only so much patience that the American people have and Obama will soon learn this.

Hypocrisy: Barack Obama Economic Advisor Dr. Christina Romer … Fundamentals of the US Economy Are Sound

A Tale of Two Sound Fundamental Economies … and One Hypocrisy President Obama are the fundamentals strong? With rising unemployment, continued trillion dollar bailouts, a stock market that has plummeted since you took office and your minions state the economy is sound. Funny, you were not saying that during the election when things were not as bad:

“What’s more fundamental than the ability to find a job that pays the bills and can raise a family?”

We need to look no further than this past weekends Meet the Press to witness the “fundamental” hypocrisy in the main stream media. The Chair of President Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, Dr. Christina Romer, stated that, “the fundamentals of the economy are “sound.” The MSM is no where to be heard.

The Chair of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, Dr. Christina Romer, on Sunday said that the fundamentals of the economy are “sound,” a comment similar to one that her boss as a candidate repeatedly attacked Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for making during the heat of last year’s presidential campaign. “Of course, the fundamentals are sound,” Romer said on Meet the Press, “in the sense that the American workers are sound. We have a good capital stock, we have good technology. We know that, temporarily, we’re in a mess, right? We have seen huge job loss, we’ve seen very large falls in GDP. Certainly in the short run, we’re in a bad situation.”

The fundamentals are what? SOUND? Isn’t this deja vu all over again? Does the Obama Administration think the American people are stupid or just not capable of using an internet search engine.

The fundamentals of the economy being sound is the exact same comment that Republican Presidential challenger John McCain said on September 15, 2008. However, when anyone attached to the Obama Administration makes such a claim, they are given a pass. So which is it President Obama, are the ‘Fundamentals” of the economy sound? If so, then were they back on September 15 when McCain made his statement? After all, the fundamentals would have been more sound then.

Actor Ron Silver Dead at the Age of 62 From Cancer … A Breed a Part … Rest in Peace

Actor and political activist Ron Silver has passed away at the age of 62 after succumbing to esphogeal cancer. The long time Democratic activist turned Republican following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks has sadly passed away at the young age of 62. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Ron Silver. Like so many others, I had no idea he was even sick.

As one who has always enjoyed his acting, I found myself more so respecting his understanding of what happened to America on 9–11 and his convictions to change his mind set and stand behind his country to be an American first and a political affiliation second.

Actor and longtime political activist Ron Silver died this morning, succumbing to a long battle with cancer, friends of the liberal Democrat-turned-GOP stalwart told The Post.

“Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him this morning,” said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition, which Silver helped create.

“He had been fighting esophageal cancer for two years and his family is making arrangements for a private service.”

There are pivotal moments in people’s lives, September 11 was that moment in time for the late Ron Silver. The one time liberal democratic activist changed and adopted a new role when America was attacked that fateful morning of September 11, 2001.

“I think there are September 10 people and there are September 11 people. I’m one of the latter. Everything changed for me. Since then I see everything through the prism of what happened that day,” he says. “For me this election is about one issue and that is the response to 9/11. In that sense I think the president is doing exactly the right thing. If 9/11 hadn’t happened then I’d be firmly in the Democratic camp.”

Caylee/Casey Anthony case: Dr. Michael Baden & Linda Kenney-Baden … Pillow talk … “like where they found chloroform in the baby’s hair”

Did Dr. Michael Baden slip up over the weekend during an interview with Geraldo Rivera and reference some information that was supposed to be kept quiet? Linda Kenney-Baden, the wife of Dr. Michael Baden joined Jose Baez and  the Caylee Anthony defense team a while back. It is highly likely that Linda Kenney-Baden and her famed forensic doctor husband discuss cases, details and information.

However, how much pillow talk is too much? It would appear that Dr. Baden made a major slip up during the March 14, 2009 Geraldo ‘At Large’ when he stated that Caylee Anthony’s hair had chloroform in it. He was not speculating, nor asking a question. Dr. Baden said it as a statement of fact. Some OTR pillow talk might have just made it to the waiting ears of those following the case of the death of Caylee Anthony.

Geraldo Rivera: Is it totally irrelevant to test the hair the way they tested poor Caylee, the baby’s hair?

Dr. Michael Baden: like where they found chloroform in the baby’s hair?

It is rather ironic that the information came out from Dr. Baden, who obviously has inside information after the Orange County sheriff’s staff was being told to stop leaking details of the case to the media for fear of losing the case. Where are the leaks coming from? Does not appear to be the Sheriff’s office.

I also have never used Botox or abused my position in the use of military aircraft for my person use. As discussed in The Hill, Peolsi believes that it is an unfair and misleading impression of her. As Eat It it or Wear It stated, she actually said this with a “permanently” straight face. Out of curiosity Nancy … what color is the sky and is the moon made out of cream cheese?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is denying Republican claims that she is partisan, saying she has been open to GOP ideas.

Sign of Things to Come … New Jersey Democratic Gov Corzine Trails Republican Christopher J. Christie

NJ Gov. Jon Corzine and former Republican Challenger U.S. Attorney Chris Christie

It is early but the Garden State might just be a sign of things to come in for the midterm elections in  2010. The 2009 governor’s race in NJ might just be a sign of the times for incumbent Democrats. Presently Democrats hold the Presidency with Barack Obama and have a majority in  the US Senate, House of Representatives and State governorships. However, Democrat Jon Corzine who hopes to win a second term is trailing badly in a Rasmussen poll by 15 points to Republican challenger Christopher J. Christie 49% to 34%.

Corzine trails another potential GOP challenger, former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan, 43% to 35%, while seven percent (7%) like another candidate and 15% are not sure whom they prefer. New Jersey Republicans will chose a candidate to run against Corzine in a primary on June 2.

Another Former Pro Wrestler Dead … Former WWE Wrestler Andrew ‘Test’ Martin Found Dead in Tampa, FL Home

33 year old, former WWE Pro-wrestler, Andrew “Test” Martin was found dead in his Tampa, FL home late Friday night at approximate 8 pm. Sadly, yet another member of the wrestling community has died at an age far too young. Police came to the home of Andrew Martin responding to a call from a concerned neighbor who had requested a welfare check. Former WWE wrestler Test was found dead just 4 days before his 34th birthday.

The cause of death wasn’t immediately known, but police said foul play isn’t suspected. An autopsy will be performed.

In July 2004 Martin had spinal fusion surgery. He was released from his WWE contract several months ago, MyFOXTampaBay.com reported.

Martin tried several unsuccessful comebacks after his injury, but failed a drug test and was suspended in February 2007, FOXSports.com reported.

In April 2008, Martin was arrested on a DUI charge in Tampa, FOXSports.com reported.

Police do not suspect foul play. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death

Of course the death, murder/suicide that most shocked the wrestling community and those outside wrestling was that of Chris Benoit and his wife and son.‘Roid” rage was suspected.

Having been a wrestling fan in my younger days and an admitted closet wrestling viewer from time to time, I must admit I was shocked to see all who have passed away at such young ages from my youth and others pretty recent. Check out this list of Famous Wrestlers That Have Died Since 1985 Before the Age of 65. Some are listed below of who some may be familiar with. Here’s another list  and another with cause of  death. Not all on this list have died of drug overdose, steroid use or the ever common heart attack; however, many have. One thing is for certain that far too many have died too young from the sports entertainment world of pro-wrestling for it to be a coincidence.
