Jet Blue Comes Out with New Ad Campaign Targeting CEO’s who Hide Money in Aruba … The CEO’s Guide to Jetting

Once again out of the clear “Jet” blue, a scandal is attached to an island that has become known for it’s corruption.

The CEO’s Guide to Jetting: It’s no longer economically feasible for CEO’s to fly around on their own corporate jets. Jet Blue has the answer and a way for CEO’s to hide money and bonuses in the process. Looks like its not only AIG exec’s who will be able to take advantage of Jet Blue’s offer, bout exec’s at Fannie Mae as well.

Jet Blue is taking advantage of the present economic crisis and America’s anger with corporate CEO’s in their most recent ad campaign targeting who else … CEO’s. The ad is obviously tongue and cheek in an effort to be more hip and Southwest-like.

Jet Blue can get you  to many cities where you already own homes or hide money. Guess what the first place is they reference after hiding money? That’s correct, you guessed it, Aruba. Make sure and watch:

The Teleprompter President Strikes Again … Barack Obama Thanks Himself in Teleprompter Blunder

BARACK OBAMA … THE TELEPROMPTER AND CHIEF

What is up with Barack Obama and his teleprompter? Or should we say O’Bama know that he was stated he has Irish ancestry. The teleprompter President has done it again, this time thanking himself during his speech with Irish PM Brian Cowen. For a President that is supposed to be such an accomplished orator, how is it that he does not know what speech he is giving? I don’t remember Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan or Jesus Christ  (scroll down at WSJ link and check out the related quotes) ever thanking them self.

A teleprompter blunder has led to Barack Obama thanking himself in a speech at the White House in a St Patrick’s Day celebration.

To start the fiasco, the Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen began repeating Barack Obama’s speech as there was a  teleprompter malfunction. With a White House that has a President so beholden upon the teleprompter it is kind of bewildering that they cannot run one of these machines better. The fact that Obama uses a teleprompter all the time makes us wonder how he has a staff that has such difficulty using one as people would think it would be common place. It certainly makes us question the professionalism of Obama’s people.

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen was just a few paragraphs into an address at a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was repeating the speech President Barack Obama had just given.

Actress Natasha Richardson is brain dead After Innocent Fall at Mont Tremblant

File this story under the sad and bizarre category. Actress Natasha Richardson, the wife of actor Liam Neeson and daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, is brain dead after a fall while skiing in Canada at Mont Tremblant. She is being flown back home to New York to be with family and friends so that they can say their goodbyes before she is taken off life support. Normally one would say this is sad but accidents do occur while skiing like in the case of tragic skiing death of Sonny Bono and Michael Kennedy. However, in the case of Natasha Richardson, the accident took place on a beginners bunny slope and she was not wearing a helmet. This needs to be a lesson to all whether beginning to ski, roller blade or skate board, please wear a helmet.

The British-born Richardson, 45, fell during a private lesson at Mont Tremblant resort yesterday and allegedly told resort employees she felt fine. But an hour later, she complained of an extreme headache and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Richardson was on a beginner’s slope and reportedly not wearing a helmet when she fell – although headgear is not required.

“She did not show any visible sign of injury but the ski patrol followed strict procedures and brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor,” said a statement from the resort, which is almost 80 miles northwest of Montreal. “Approximately an hour after the incident Mrs. Richardson was not feeling good.” Conflicting reports Tuesday night had actress Natasha Richardson “brain dead Natasha Richardson: One of the Good Guys

She is considered one of the good guys, a welcome presence as a New York transplant on the Upper West Side. With actor Liam Neeson she was certainly a “power couple,” and with their sons, Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12, the Neesons were a popular addition to any event.

45 year old Natasha Richardson has passed away at the age of 45 after suffering a head injury during a ski accident in Canada. Alan Nierob, the Los Angeles-based publicist for Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson, confirmed her death in a written statement. Our prayers go out to the friends and family of Natasha Richardson.

“Liam Neeson, his sons (Micheal and Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” the statement said. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

US Census goes Nuts … Partisan ACORN to Play Roll in 2010 Census … What Now Census Registration Fraud?

The 2010 US Census is nearly upon us and there is more cause for concern as the census continues to be politicized. The Census is supposed to be free of politics; however, that appears to be another “change” coming from the Obama White House. Acorn, yes the same group that was nailed for massive voter registration fraud, will be participating in the 2010 Census.

The U.S. Census is supposed to be free of politics, but one group with a history of voter fraud, ACORN, is participating in next year’s count, raising concerns about the politicization of the decennial survey.

A Tale of Two” Fundamentals” of the Economy are Strong, Part Deux … It all depends on what the meaning of “sound” is

For all of you who thought Obama was some sort of change and some type of new politician, think again. Where have we heard this before? Now it depends on what the meaning of “strong” is, or is it “sound?”

Words do not lie … see and hear for yourself.

During the 2008 Presidential campaign Republican candidate John McCain made the comment on September 15, 2008: “the fundamentals of our economy were strong”. Team Obama thought the comment was so humorous that they took the comment out of context and made it into a campaign ad mocking the Senator from Arizona calling him out of touch.

 What’s the different between then and now?

However, some how after all the Obama campaign rhetoric the Obama Administrations is using the exact same words when the economy is even worse today that it was in September 2008. It was ok for Obama to criticize McCain during the campaign and use the “fundamentals” comment to his benefit when it behooved him. Suddenly with a worse economy that September 2008, more jobs lost and a stock market that has been ravished … Obama and his minions say with a straight face that the fundamentals of the economy are sound. Today, we face a worse situation under Obama, who is out of touch?

During the fall campaign, Obama relentlessly criticized his Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain, for declaring, “The fundamentals of our economy are strong.” Obama’s team painted the veteran senator as out of touch and failing to grasp the challenges facing the country.

But on Sunday, that optimistic message came from economic adviser Christina Romer. When asked during an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” if the fundamentals of the economy were sound, she replied: “Of course they are sound.”

“The fundamentals are sound in the sense that the American workers are sound, we have a good capital stock, we have good technology,” she said. “We know that – that temporarily we’re in a mess, right? We’ve seen huge job loss, we’ve seen very large falls in GDP. So certainly in the short run we’re in a – in a bad situation.”

Just a week ago, White House Office of Management and Budget director Peter Orszag declared that “fundamentally, the economy is weak.” Days later, Obama told reporters he was confident in the economy.

Amazingly enough, this week Obama’s economic chairwoman Dr. Christia Romer told David Gregory on Meet the Press that, “Of course the fundamentals of the economy are strong.” Let’s give credit to David Gregory for holding her and Obama’s feet to the fire.
