Increased oversight of bank executive pay … code for socialism. We did not need 
further oversight, we needed politicians to do their job and provide some sort of oversight at all. This is just a CYA by politicians and a socialist power grab by Barack Obama. Does anyone really wonder why the stock market continues to struggle? This Monday embattled Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner aims to purchase as much as $1 trillion in troubled assets. That’s correct, tax payer dollars going to pay for toxic debt that no one wants. Hold the phone, as Geithner and Obama roll out yet another spending plan, pay close attention to these comments from The Chosen One … The Obama administration will call for increased oversight of executive pay at all banks. Not just banks that accept federal TARP money … ALL BANKS!!! Banks that did nothing wrong, were responsible and have effective business models will now be regulated by an Obama socialist government as to how much effective CEO’s and execs are paid. Ceilings on what a productive individual can be paid … Hello Socialism.
The new rules will cover all financial institutions, including those not now covered by any pay rules because they are not receiving U.S. government bailout money. Officials say the rules could also be applied more broadly to publicly traded companies, which already report about some executive pay practices to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Last month, as part of the stimulus package, Congress barred top executives at large banks getting rescue money from receiving bonuses exceeding one-third of their annual pay.

Barack Obama’s approval index is down 4 points. To watch Obama’s approval index slide is like watching a video of The B-52’s and Rock Lobster , down … down. That did not take long, it has not even been 100 days and Obama on the downward slide.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 36% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-two percent (32%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +4.
The Gateway Pundit reminds us that Obama is now at a lower point than was George W. Bush at the same point during his presidency in 2001.
Since Bruce Springsteen saw fit to sing at the Obama coronation, maybe he can redo his lyrics to I’m Going Down to play to Obama’s Approval index.

The CHANGE you can really believe in will occur in the 2010 midterm elections. Obama and the Democrats continue to overspend, inflict their socialist ways upon America and continue to misread the tea leaves. Don’t look now, but the Republican party just took the lead in the Generic Congressional Ballot.

Dave Holloway Sends Search Dog to Aruba to Search for Missing Natalee Holloway
New Search in Aruba by Dave Holloway …
Dave Holloway has sent a search dog and handler to Aruba to look for his missing daughter Natalee Holloway. The search was supposed to be of a small reservoir in Northwestern Aruba. It has been nearly 4 years since then 18 year old Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba after leaving Carlos n’ Charlie’s with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe.
Despite the search dogs being sent to Aruba at the request of Dave Holloway, the Aruban prosecutors officer stated that there were no new leads in the case of missing Natalee Holloway.
Ann Angela, a spokeswoman for the Aruba Prosecutors’ Office, said the dog is searching a small reservoir in northwestern Aruba that witnesses have previously identified as a location where Holloway’s remains might be found.
Why would there be another search after all this time? According to Dave Holloway’s attorney, Vinda de Sousa, Dave insisted on another search of the reservoir after a witness identified this area as a possible location. The witness passed a lie detector test in the U.S, also HERE and HERE. It is being reported that Beth Holloway was unaware of the development and declined further comment.
As reported at AL.com, the latest search for Natalee Holloway in Aruba has not turned up her body.
According to a press release written only in Dutch and titled “No remains of Natalee Holloway Found,” an investigator accompanied by a dog arrived on the island today to search a flooded area. That area has been pinpointed in the past by a witness, but the prosecutor’s office has said before and reiterated today that it has no reason to believe Holloway’s body would be found there.

Golda plans to comb the Aruban pond for any signs of Natalee’s remains or van der Sloot’s sneaker. He says, “I want to stick in my arm from my elbow to my shoulder and feel for bones and Joran’s sneaker…If we can find that sneaker in there than that whole pond becomes a crime scene and changes the playing game.”
UPDATE I: Fred Golba and search dog Rhino to Aruba
Golba says a witness has just come forward with new information about the lead suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot. He believes Holloway’s body was dumped in a pond near the hotel where she was last seen.

There is a reason why no sitting US President as ever gone on The Tonight Show. For one, it completely diminishes the office of the Presidency. Two, it is especially wrong to be yuking it up with Jay Leno when so many Americans are experiencing tough times. This is hardly the venue for a President when Obama can call a prime time news conference and have the attention of the world.
Three … well three is for exactly what happened in Barack Obama attempting to make a joke and in turn making fun of and insulting Special Olympic athletes. Let’s go out on a limb and guess that this was not on his teleprompter. Or maybe it will be as Michelle Malkin states, the teleprompter made him do it. I guess this is what elistist do when they get together, make fun of the disabled.
Real class President Obama. As a person who has volunteered for the Special Olympics I do find Obama’s comments completely disgusting. On a person note, I have never met kinder and more motivated individuals in my life that when I volunteered with the Special Olympics. The athletes are a breed a part and will make you look at the Olympic Games in a whole different manner. Barack Obama, you could never be a Special Olympic athlete, you have neither the heart, courage or spirit.
Towards the end of his approximately 40-minute appearance, the president talked about how he’s gotten better at bowling and has been practicing in the White House bowling alley.
He bowled a 129, the president said.
“That’s very good, Mr. President,” Leno said sarcastically.
It’s “like the Special Olympics or something,” the president said.
