More Obama Change: GITMO Worse Since Obama Became President Says Ex-Detainee

CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN … Gitmo conditions worse under Obama.

All during the Democratic primaries and general election, Barack Obama campaigned on the issue of closing down GITMO as it an evil symbol of America. One would think that all the evil and harsh conditions of the Obama campaign rhetoric would have changed. They changed all right, but it is being reported as a change for the worse.  Who knew after all the railing that Barack Obama did against GWB and Gitmo that GITMO would be run worse under Obama. Looks like even Gitmo detainees are discovering that not all change is good either.

‘More torture at Gitmo after Obama’

A freed Guantanamo prisoner has said conditions at the US detention camp in Cuba have worsened since President Barack Obama was elected, claiming guards wanted to “take their last revenge”.

Binyam Mohamed, the first detainee to be transferred out of Guantanamo Bay since Obama took office, also said British agents “sold me out” by cooperating with his alleged torturers, in his first interview since release which was published Sunday.

Mohamed, a 30-year-old Ethiopian-born former British resident, gave further details of what he has called the “medieval” torture he faced in Pakistan and Morocco, as well as in a secret CIA prison in Kabul and at Guantanamo.

“The result of my experience is that I feel emotionally dead,” he told the Mail on Sunday newspaper. “It seems like a miracle my brain is still intact.”

Far from improving, Mohamed said conditions at Guantanamo have worsened since Obama was elected in November.

Of course who is the individual making these comments? None other than Binyam Mohamed, a trained dirty bomber released from Gitmo by Obama. British officials would later announce that Binyam is free and faces no further action. Exit question, what is worse, poor conditions and not reading terrorist their rights or poor policy on seriously dealing with terrorists?

On NBC’S Meet The Press today, Gingrich fired back, saying that “you’ve got to want the president to succeed.” “You’re irrational if you don’t want the president to succeed because if he doesn’t succeed, the country doesn’t succeed,” said Gingrich.

Newt calling Scared Monkeys irrational . Oh the world has really gone made now.

That is like saying if Hitler fails then Germany fails, to me.

Obama can take a dump all by his little lonesome.

I do not link Obama’s success with the USA’s. Mainly because, Obama’s “success” is not in fact
success at all… it is past history failures that have been re-wrapped in new flashy packaging,
      adorned with beautiful bows.

Obama hands it to you, and says look what I got you! It’s a turd… but doesn’t it look beautifully wrapped this time?

THANKS,BUT NO THANKS BARRY. I would just rather
take a pass this time and chill out watching
Sasha and Malia enjoy their new swingset.

Mind control. The TV, the radio, never forget
at the end of the day… they all serve one
master, the Government. Without the license
from the Communications Commission, they would
be all be turned off overnight.

      Red and Carpe,
Are you saying you think the prisoners should have it good at Gitmo?

#2 Why would we want the President to succeed at turning us into a socialist country? WE DON’T, that’s why we disagree with his policies, he’s a socialist.

The most thoughtful present we could
give to Obama the man that IS everything,
is a mirror! “Look how you look, Barry”,
we’d say to him. On the other hand,
instead of seeing what he is doing to
our Country, he might just spend hours
admiring himself in it (he is a wonderful
individual you know). A really nice mirror
could be a stimulus package for a man
      who sincerely cares about himself.

      Time for reflection is near!

Nice point number 4. My question, how long has this detainee been (ex), and how long has Obama been president? Kind of a non story if you ask me.

    10. Rusty Bridges on March 9th, 2009 9:39 am

What makes this a story is the ignorance of Obamas rosie colored world.

The reality is that these prisoners are being treated harshly by those who know what kind of animals they really are. It must be frustrating for those that know first hand what these terrorists can do. For them it must be extremely frustrating to see these killers loosened on the world by your own President giving into world guilt.

If Obama didn’t send a transition team down to Gitmo to prevent vigilantism he either is ignorant or really doesn’t care about the detainees. As long as we look good to the rest of the world, thats all that matters.

To the future victims of these animals, please remember that we are setting the overcharge button on global terrorism and you have to pay the price.

      Red and Carpe,
Are you saying you think the prisoners should have it good at Gitmo?

      Not me, Louise.

The last thing I would be doing is taking the word of a prisoner that he’s being tortured.

A terrorist’s idea of torture is loud music.

I would laugh them to death!

he already has control over the weak minded.

    13. Rusty Bridges on March 9th, 2009 2:23 pm

#11, you’re right, it probably was something like a gaurd walked by whistling a western tune oblivious the quaran was present and drove the detainee crazy.

#11, carpe, of course, you are totally correct.

not all of them are terrorists.
some were just at a bad place on a bad time.
      __________
SM: Yup, some of them just happen to be on a battle field shooting at American military or caught in hotel rooms building bombs. They were just in the wrong place sleeping there as it was not their bomb building shift.

Terrorist in Gitmo and the Incredible Hulk …. both convicted of crimes they did not commit.

      PLEAAAASE.

no Red, it has been proven that there were innocent ppl in Gitmo.

Quote from Carpe:”The last thing I would be doing is taking the word of a prisoner that he’s being tortured.”

Exactly, thats why info from torture is bs
