ROIDS in baseball … when will MLB take serious action? What a shock, another 
baseball super-star testing positive for steroids. It looks like steroids isn’t just for Barry Bonds anymore.
Can we just throw out all of their records and call it the ROID era … a time when MLB turned a blind eye to their sport in hopes that fans would return after baseball strikes. The roid era was a complete fraud … how appropriate A-Rod would get caught using steroids.
It’s just one more reason not to like A-Rod and the NY Yankees. As reported by Sports Illustrated, Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003. What a shock, we go from A-Rod to A-Fraud to A-Roid. The steroid use occurred when A-Rod was a member of the Texas Rangers and was the year’s American League home run king and MVP before signing the ridiculous contract with the NY Yankees. It is almost impossible to defend Alex Rodriguez and give him the benefit of the doubt as he has cared more about himself and his bank account than he has the teams that he has played for and winning a World Series. There is a reason why people chant “Pay-Rod”.
In 2003, when he won the American League home run title and the AL Most Valuable Player award as a shortstop for the Texas Rangers, Alex Rodriguez tested positive for two anabolic steroids, four sources have independently told Sports Illustrated.
Rodriguez’s name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball’s ’03 survey testing, SI’s sources say. As part of a joint agreement with the MLB Players Association, the testing was conducted to determine if it was necessary to impose mandatory random drug testing across the major leagues in 2004.

As The Gothamist reports, When asked about the results earlier in the week, A-Rod told a reporter, “You’ll have to talk to the union. I’m not saying anything.”

Why would Jose Baez allow such a tainted individual on his team and expose his client to potential harm? Is this what defending your client in a zealous manner means?

out quite a while ago even if many questions and doubted it. Even if those in the media did not provide the proper attribution, you know very well where you received the idea to pursue such a story.

The question that should be on everyone’s mind is how does an ex-felon become a spokesperson and have such involvement in a murder case? How does a criminal defense attorney like Jose Baez allow his client to be exposed to such potential harm? What is Jose Baez’s obligation to protect a client against an ex-felon who has interjected himself in the case?
When Todd Black, not his real name, was exploded as the individual that he really was, he went mental and threatened individuals with legal action. However, the flurry of media press releases from Black/Cabot’s company, Press Corps Media, denied the allegations. Suddenly … the admission from Todd Black has finally come that Gil Cabot really is Todd Black
But today the admission finally came – Gil Cabot really is Todd Black, or at least one of them. It’s unclear what it means to the Anthony case that a convicted felon using a false name is the defense’s media rep.

Attorney Jose Baez states that he had not retained Todd Black/Gil Cabot as a spokesperson yet there are numerous occurrences where Todd Black has released press releases for Baez and the family as well as the media referring directly to Todd Black as Baez’s spokesperson. Would’t one think that a lawyer would send a cease and desist letter immediately if one ever tried to speak on their behalf? After denial after denial, Todd Black makes and admission … Cabot was one of three “Todd Blacks.” WTF!!!
Since September, a spokesman who uses the name Todd Black has talked to reporters and issued statements about the Anthony case but never revealed his true identity or a photograph, nor agreed to in-person interviews.
Black’s media company this week for the first time confirmed that at least one “Todd Black” persona is Gil Cabot, who was sentenced to five years in a California prison after he was convicted of attempted extortion.
The company said Cabot was one of three “Todd Blacks.”
It was asked by WDBO, it’s unclear what it means to the Anthony case that a convicted felon using a false name is the defense’s media rep. Well maybe you shoud read the following inquiry complaint filed with the Florida Bar addressing this very issue of ethics violations.

Its All about the Timing … Global Warming Conference Held in Buffalo, NY with -6 Degrees Temperatures
Talk about bad timing …
The “Global Warming” crowd may want to get a clue and a better sense of timing when it comes to holding events. Buffalo State College hosts the national teach in conference on Global Warming Situations on the very day that local temperature bottomed out at minus 6 degrees. It is kind of hard to get serious about global warming when one cannot feel their toes due to the cold. Also, would not it have been ironic for those attending the conference that it took more time to warm up their cars than to actually travel top the event?
No evidence of global warming here, at least not this morning, when unofficial reports to the National Weather Service listed temperatures as low as 9 degrees below zero elsewhere in Erie County.

If Barack Obama can dictate corporate CEO’s their salaries because of tax payer TARP money, then “We the People” should be able to dictate the salaries of the President, House and Senate. After all, it is out tax dollars that are paying their salaries. Why can government get away with wasteful spending? Americans can smell pork a mile a way.
Barack Obama and the Democrats in the House and Senate are so quick to tell us about the wasteful spending of corporate America and their greed, yet might they want to look in the mirror? Congress has railed on corporations who have taken TARP money for their continued wasteful spending, yet was it not Congress who passed these bills without any provisions to restrict such actions?
Is it also not Congress and the US Government who wastes more tax payer dollars than anyone? Maybe the Dems in Congress can mull over their wasteful spending ways while they are living La Vita Loca at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, VA on the tax payers dime. Could these people be more out of touch? Who exactly do they think pays their salaries?

Caylee Anthony: Casey Anthony and Anthony Family … Texas EquuSearch Does Search for Living Missing Children and they Find them Alive … Owen Castle Found Safe
Anthony’s … it is possible to find two year old children that are missing … and find 
them alive. His name is Owen Castle.
Look what can happen when one cooperates with law enforcement and searchers and actually report a child missing immediately without waiting one month. We look to the case of Caylee Anthony and only wonder what if, what if some one had cared to report Caylee missing within 24 hours, would she be alive today?
To the family of once missing and now deceased Caylee Anthony, it appears after all that Tim Miller and Texas EquuSearch do search for missing children that are alive and they find them safe and sound sometimes as well when there is cooperation. Cindy Anthony had previously railed on TES for being mislead that they only search for deceased missing persons and that she wanted no part of a search that would do so.
The Texas EquuSearch search efforts for 2 year old Owen Castle in Llano, TX turned out to be a miraculous success. Owen was last seen in the early evening hours of Tuesday, February 2, 2009. Owen was wearing Polo brand blue jeans, a long sleeve blue, shirt with white squares on it and a yellow stripe on the collar, red Croc shoes and white socks.
After numerous search efforts, two year old Owen Castle was found on a frigid morning and he was barely responsive. At first it was thought Owen was deceased, only to find that he was alive, barely. He was rushed to a local hospital to receive emergency care.

Georgie’s girls are P L A S T I C , as in, inflated. Came in a box with instructions and *conditioner* to prolong quality. George Bartusek, 51,was going “downtown with the sundown” in the front seat of his 1998 Lincoln Town Car, which was parked directly in front of a Publix store. Horrified shoppers called police when they spotted Georgie paying particular attention to the woman in the front seat and not even glancing in the rear view.
Joy Wray, on vacation from CT, one of the shoppers interviewed at the scene, felt the incident had been over-inflated. She went on to say:
“I felt sorry for the man. He looked so sad. He kept yelling at the one in the back seat as police were putting him in the patrol car. “It’s your fault! Your mouth is always open but you never really SAY ANYTHING!!”

Barack Hussein Obama’s executive order which mandates that the military commissions 
be halted at Gitmo has paved the way for charges to dropped against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, an al-Qaida suspect in the 2000 USS Cole bombing. Far be it that we let a “symbol” like Gitmo get in the way of charges against an enemy of America.
The Pentagon’s senior judge overseeing terror trials at Guantanamo Bay dropped charges Thursday against an al-Qaida suspect in the 2000 USS Cole bombing, upholding President Barack Obama’s order to freeze military tribunals there. The charges against suspected al-Qaida bomber Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri marked the last active Guantanamo war crimes case.
The legal move by Susan J. Crawford, the top legal authority for military trials at Guantanamo, brings all cases into compliance with Obama’s Jan. 22 executive order to halt terrorist court proceedings at the U.S. Navy base in Cuba.
Once again we have a Democratic administration that has no idea how to handle terrorism. That’s it President Obama, let’s give terrorist criminal trials in the US and afford them all the liberties of a US citizen rather than military tribunals at GITMO. Heaven forbid we must allow the military commission process to go forward.
The ruling also gives the White House time to review the legal cases of all 245 terror suspects held there and decide whether they should be prosecuted in the U.S. or released to other nations.
Obama was expected to meet with families of Cole and 9/11 victims at the White House on Friday afternoon to announce the move.

Michelle Malkin points out the complete and utter lack of shame in disclosing the tax lien issue just hours before the nomination vote was supposed to take place. All this from the President who promised us Hope, Change and Transparency. Michelle Malkin also goes on to discuss the obvious double standard with regards to the tax lien as opposed to how the MSM salivated over Joe the Plumber’s tax lien. Yep, no double standard here.
