The Passing of Peaches, An Inspiration to Us All … May She Rest in Eternal Peace … God Bless

Scared Monkeys says goodbye to one of their most beloved Monkeys …

Scared Monkeys would like to take a moment to say goodbye to a dear friend. We Peaches_blimp_avatarwere saddened to learn yesterday that Peaches, a dear and treasured member of Scared Monkeys for so may years has passed away from cancer. Our hearts and prayers go out to her husband, her daughter, her family and all those people here who remember Peaches for her kindness and courage.

Today I am saddened by our loss; however, I know that heaven is a much better place with her presence. I never met PEACHES, I only know her through her words, emails  and the kind and insightful things she had to say. I know her for the people who’s lives she touched. I know her for the inspiration and courage that she showed all of us. I know her for her kind spirit that will be missed.

However, I know that she brings that spirit to a much better place and is now sharing it with so many that have passed on before her. God has taken home one of the best. In the face of pain and struggle, Peaches smile and zest for life shined above all.  I have covered and wrote about so much pain, anguish and death over the years, yet few posts have ever been more difficult to write than this when we lose one of our own. One of the truly good and gifted people that one would ever know. Whether we know someone in person or over the internet, when one meets one of the good one’s, you know it in an instant. Thank you Peaches for sharing yourself with Scared Monkeys, it was so very appreciated.

Peaches_RIP

If you never knew Peaches, take a moment to go here and learn about what a phenomenal woman she was. If you knew Peaches, please take a moment to check out what many others are saying about our dear friend in her passing. To know what some one is about is not to hear them talk, but is to listen what others have to say about them. Peaches, you were special and will be missed.

Peaches, you are in a much better place away from the pain. May the peace of the Lord provide you eternal peace. Until we meet again and the next time will be in person, you will be fondly remembered by all of us and your spirit will always remain here at Scared Monkeys.

Rest in peace my friend, you are truly a special person and loved by all.

You shall be missed. May your family find comfort in all the memories of the wonderful times that were part of your life. Rest in peace knowing that each of us is a part of all we have met. I am sure that those who encountered you over a lifetime have gained much from your being a part of their life.

Memories provide a warmth of feeling, yet can never replace the source. You shall remain in the hearts of all who knew you.

Thank you Red. Peaches touched so many lives with her humor, her faith, her courage, and her thoughtfulness…the angels in Heaven are surely rejoicing right now for the arrival of one of Earth’s finest people. The world has lost a very important woman and I will always remember her…I pray for her family and friends for their monumental loss that the Lord will comfort them and heal their hearts. I love you Peaches!

      Peaches

I am so thankful that our lives touched. Your compassion and humor while dealing with a mountain that appeared too steep to climb was such an inspiration to me.

Peaches … your climb was successful!! You have reached the top of that mountain and … your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ had gone before and .. was waiting with His arms outstretched to take you to the place that has been prepared expecially for you.

My prayer is that your father, husband, daughter and loved ones will receive the strength and peace in their profound loss … the strength an peach that only God can afford.

      Love, Janet

      John 14:2-3

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also

Best wishes to the family and loved ones of Peaches. If circumstances so allow, I am sure that she is passing on to the missing people whose sagas we have covered here, over the years, our concern and determination that there will be answers.

I hope this doesn’t sound trite or flippant … it isn’t meant to.

    14. Gunslinger on December 30th, 2008 1:17 pm

I don’t have the words to write how much Peaches meant to me, and how much I will miss her.

I know she is in Heaven, and with her there, Heaven is a much better place.

She was truly an Angel among us.

May God comfort her family and friends. To all Scared Monkey friends, we now have another Angel in Heaven to help with our fight for truth and justice.

Thank you Peaches for touching my life, and making me a better person.

Thank you Red, I have finally learned how to cry again.

I was fortunate enough to have read some of Peaches posts in the cage. She indeed sounded like a woman of strength, courage and faith. What more wonderful things a person be remembered for?

I do hope her family knows and treasures the many people Peaches inspired. How wonderful for them to have shared her.

RIP Peaches, though you are probably already inspiring the Angels.

    20. HOPE on December 30th, 2008 8:11 pm

When I was a member of the forum, she’d post first thing in the morning and her energy would inspire me. She was always so happy and had a heart of gold. Kind. Sometimes she’d post to the front page, never a complaint. I was not aware that she was ill.

I’m so sorry for her family where her positive attitude and inner-strength will, surely, be missed. She was a woman with many, many friends… because she knew how to be a friend.

Save a place for me, for we shall have all of eternity to live under His grace and you are one that would be a pleasure to spend time with and oh, the things we could write about! I picked out my favorite song, for you. I hope that you listen to the words for Alecia Keys is just like you… she talks the talk and walks the walk.

No doubt, you got your miracle!

      For Peaches!

I hope Peaches will tell Natalee, and Caylee, and Tara, and Jennifer, and so many others who have been the subjects of our concern and discussions that there are people here who knew they existed, cared about them, and who pray for the families and loved ones they’ve left behind.

Peaches chose to be a blessing to others – may she reap what she sowed!

Until we meet again, sleep in Heavenly Peace!!

Indeed we have lost a very valuable Monkey in our Monkey Family. You are missed. If there is a sign up sheet for Angel duties, I am sure she will be helping missing children, adults and their families. Perhaps there a Forum for Monkeys in Heaven and she is the mod. Will be missed. Thanks Peaches for your friendship.
