Casey Anthony Not Allowed at Caylee’s Funeral and Anthony’s Supposedly Ask for Donations for Caylee’s Funeral

Casey Anthony Cannot Attend Funeral and Who Will Pay to Bury Caylee Anthony?

How about the Anthony’s actually allow the people who seemed to care the most to attend the funeral of little Caylee Anthony, especially if they are going to ask the public for donations to pay for it?

According to reports out of Florida, Casey Anthony will not be allowed to attend the funeral of her 2 year old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Orange County Corrections has stated that the level of crime charged and the security risks make it impossible for any such event to take place. One could only imagine the media frenzy and public’s outrage if they let Casey Anthony out of jail to attend Caylee’s funeral. The daughter that Casey Anthony did not care enough to mention for a month that was missing and never reported to police.

According to Orange County Corrections, the level of her charges and the security risks she would pose by being out in public prohibit her from leaving jail.

Jail policy lists several conditions that automatically make an inmate ineligible to participate in escorted or unescorted leaves into the community.

Among those are people charged with Capital crimes, or those considered a security threat.

Heaven forbid we make it precedent that individuals charged and indicted on first degree charges are allowed to leave jail and attend the funeral of the person they are accused of murdering. I do not remember Scott Peterson being allowed to attend the funeral of his murdered wife and child.

Just when you thought that the Casey/Caylee Anthony case made your blood boil along comes the report from WFTV that the Cindy and George Anthony might ask for donations to bury Caylee. Wasn’t there a trust fund already set up for Caylee Anthony? Where did that money go? The public should once again be asking for an accounting of Caylee’s trust fund. Where did the money go that people donated and possible media interview payments went for licensed pics?

The Anthony’s will actually ask for donations from the public, yet bar the public from the funeral and make it private? Who does these people’s PR, Satan? The Anthony’s have publicly stated that “Whatever the truth is, they will stand by their daughter.” So now they are soliciting funds from the public, for a private ceremony where the public is not allowed and even if the truth is as all suspect that Casey Antony murdered their precious grand daughter Caylee, Cindy and George will stand behind Casey. Could there be any more dysfunction in this family?

WFTV-Channel 9′s Mary Nguyen reported that George and Cindy Anthony might ask for donations to bury Caylee. “The Anthonys are hoping the public will pay for their granddaughter’s funeral,” Nguyen said.

What do you make of that?

Conway said a trust fund will be established to pay for the funeral, and the family will seek donations from the public, Nguyen reported. The average cost for a funeral is $6,000, she added.

On WKMG-Channel 6, Conway said that George and Cindy Anthony are supporting Casey. “They want the truth, whatever that is,” Conway said. “Whatever the truth is, they will stand by their daughter.”

Mark William, news director at WNDB Newstalk 1150 and frequent guest on The Dana Pretzer Show on Scared Monkeys radio also made reference last night on The Nancy Grace Show (full transcript) that the Anthony’s were seeking donations for Caylee’s funeral.

Also, there`s a report out that the Anthonys are seeking donations for little Caylee`s funeral. That was one of the big stories tonight on one of the television stations here in town. And I ran that past a couple of people and they just could not believe that they would be asking for donations for their granddaughter`s funeral. They already have a trust fund set up already, and there`s a couple of thousand dollars in that, from what we understand, Nancy.

To discuss the case, get updates and provide your opinions, go to Scared Caylee Anthony.

UPDATE I: Change of Heart, Anthony’s State there will be Public Memorial for Caylee Anthony.

Think the Anthony’s and their attorneys do not read Scared Monkeys? Think again. After stating that the Anthony’s would only have a private service for Caylee Anthony, they have now changed their minds and will have a memorial to two year old Caylee Anthony open to the public. Think the Anthony’s attorney is not trying to do damage control after the outrage of saying that only a private service. After all the caring and the public’s display of emotion for little Caylee, it is only right that the public get a chance to say good bye to Caylee Anthony.

Wow! They just continue to poke their finger in the public’s eye! And then this:

On WKMG-Channel 6, Conway said that George and Cindy Anthony are supporting Casey. “They want the truth, whatever that is,” Conway said. “Whatever the truth is, they will stand by their daughter.”

Cindy and George probably used Caylee’s trust fund money to put money in Casey’s jail account so Casey could get lotions, makeup and hair stuff in jail.

how about using that $2 million in movie and book rights for little Caylee’s funeral? Oh no, that’s right, after enabling their daughter to hide from her crime for 6 months, that money (what’s left after Cindy and George jetted off to be on Larry King) will be used to pay the defense lawyers for them an their murderous daughter.

      Makes me want to puke.

    4. Brenda Vang on December 23rd, 2008 9:55 am

That doesnt surprise me. I bet it was Cindys idea.

    5. Michelle on December 23rd, 2008 9:59 am

Those scumbags should not get one dime of money off that precious child. I’m sure people wouldn’t mind donating money for Caylee’s funeral if they could donate directly to the funeral home in charge of the burial.

The Anthony’s make me sick and I have no sympathy for them anymore. Their daughter murdered their grandchild and they have done nothing to help the authorities.

I am starting a fund to try and raise money for george and cindy. I think what they went through the parents deserve a trip to aruba.

Two months ago a little baby girl was born in Plainfield IL with a rare birth defect. Her intestines were on the outside of her body. Before her birth her parents took great care in finding a hospital that cold handle their baby’s needs. The baby needed surgery and round the clock care. Her parents are thrilled that she will be home for Christmas. That baby had so much love and care from her parents during her short 2 months it is unimaginable that some parents treat their children with such disregard. BTW, the baby was named Kaylee.

Season’s Greetings to all the Scared Monkeys. Natalee and Caylee will be in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season.

I agree with you buster, send the Anthonys to Aruba.

Absolutely amazing, isn’t it?? NOT!! How dare the Anthony’s beg for money to bury Caylee!! I feel certain an anonymous donor or donors would gladly pay for little Caylee’s funeral than to see the Anthony’s take advantage of Caylee again by misusing the money on Casey’s “nightmare defense team”.

Richard – I’d pay and thoroughly enjoy watching the Anthony’s and the van der Slut’s locked up in a room together ;-) Hopefully it would rid the world of their evil.

I hope there is justice for Caylee. Children are innocent and there are options if you can not handle being a parent even if those closest to you are in extreme denial and think you will make it work eventually there is always help out there to get your child to a safe place. Whatever happened to this child her family failed her, her mother put her own ridiculous needs ahead of everything and I just hope she pays for that because an innocent life was lost here. What mother would not seek help in finding their child immediately… I don’t know a mother like that. There are 14 year olds with babies who get what it is about more than Casey.. Love is love and even if she was not ready to be a mom she was a mom and should have stood up and asked for help even if Cindy would not have agreed. The fact that George and Cindy say they will stand by her may not ring true in time once it all sinks in. Right now they are still not accepting that this could happen right under their noses. I just hope for Caylee that she did not suffer too much. I am a mom and to think of anything happening is unbearable. I just hope Caylee did not know what was happening.. I doubt it though. Poor little angel you will remain in many hearts, you have touched so many people. Casey, if you did do this which I think all signs point to yes, may you pay every single minute for it, may you live in fear… may you be forgotten after your trial. Most of all I hope you never get to live out what you thought you would getting rid of Caylee.

      Katablog says it best!

Everytime one turns around, the Anthony’s are asking for money…

After all the help the public has given in an attempt to find Caylee, with no appreciation… After all those teddy bears that were given out of the kindness of our hearts, ending up in the trash… And after all that money that was donated to help with their expenses to help search for Caylee, ended up in Casey’s defense fund… one can only wonder where these people get their sense of sensibility. :(

      Poor Caylee…

    16. txchic on December 23rd, 2008 1:23 pm

i thought the anthony’s were having financial difficulties before all of this happened. if they can’t handle their own finances how can they be expected to manage donations?

a small private ceremony shouldn’t cost much at all but i have a feeling it will be over done.

so far as mommy dearest attending the funeral, it will merely attract the same bunch of weirdos who stalked the anthony home. an unsafe atmosphere at best.

nancy grace had better find a new subject for her shows because most of the public are fed up with this whole thing. imo the only thing left is the reading of a guilty verdict.

    17. sandy s. on December 23rd, 2008 1:33 pm

Cindy and george deserve to sit in jail in a cell right next to their daughter. They are both very dangerous people. I do not understand how they deserve sympathy. The only victim in all of this is sweet caley.

    18. Tay-Lyn on December 23rd, 2008 3:07 pm

The whole family deserves to be in jail forever! But first they should be beaten.

I don’t advocate violence…but this is different, Casey needs that cocky attitude knocked right out of her. And the parents need to be punished for leading everyone on a wild goose chase simply to help their daughter get away with murder.

    19. HOPE on December 23rd, 2008 3:58 pm

      Sandy S:

      I agree!

The next thing we’ll hear is that they’ll just have her cremated which in my opinion would be a mistake. We’ve come a long way in forensics, but we still have a long way to go.

Speads up decomposition and wards-off cadaver dogs (as well as other animals, I would assume) by covering the scent. That may be why the bones were prestine with no chew marks made by dogs. I think Law Enforcement are building a mountain of evidence and I commend them. But, for Caylee’s sake, there should be justice served against everyone involved!

And, yes, there was a BIG bag of fertilizer found in the Anthony home. Ofcourse, now, the Anthony’s are trying to remove themselves from the evidence by stating that everything removed from their home was the property of Caylee and Casey. They say they want to get to the truth, which is a new concept for them… but what was once a plea to America for their grand-daughter has now turned into more grandstanding for Casey. I may be naive, but wasn’t that the way it’s always been?

Their actions do sound alot like the Van der Slums, with Paulus himself pointing in every direction except toward his own evil spawn… but not quite as sinister.

    20. on December 23rd, 2008 4:07 pm

The fact that George and Cindy say they will stand by her may not ring true in time once it all sinks in.

Oh don’t worry, like mama and papa sloot, the anthonys will stick by their darling Casey. After all, there are more book and movie rights coming down the road!

That’s exactly what they’ve done with Casey for the last 6 months. They have had to KNOW she was lying through her teeth. Her story doesn’t have one bit of sensibility to it.

And now the latest news: the Anthony family is complaining that the courts are holding up little Caylee’s funeral because they aren’t turning over the remains quick enough. Now of course if they did – there will be the “rush to judgment” claims. But these people are the ones that enabled Casey to hide Caylee’s remains for 6 months with her lies and suddenly they need closure with a funeral?

There’s so little left of little Caylee after rotting in a garbage bag in the woods for 6 months that the Anthonys could pack up toys and bury them if they need closure so quickly. What a farce.

    21. Greg on December 23rd, 2008 4:26 pm

How much does it cost to bury a child?
Donations for Caylee’s Funeral? They could have raised plenty $$$ and donated the extra to abused children, and Tim Millers company.

    22. Jean on December 23rd, 2008 5:26 pm

I feel George knew.. suppected his daughter killed Caylee, but if you watch him when they are both interviewed. He never said anything..Cindy did all the talking. He knew his daughter was guilty and Cindy told him to keep quiet. She did all the talking and wanted everyone to beleive Casey wasn’t guilty. I think Cindy told Casey not to tell her dad anything. He just kept quiet and knew the truth would come out. How sad for him to carry this all and not say a word. But he did talk to the grand jury. That’s what got Casey arrested. How hard that must of been on him. Cindy never went to testifiy at the Grand Jury. I think They will lose everything they have because of this. House home and daughter. As for paying for Caylee’s funeral. I heard this wasn’t true on Fox’s news. Also they donated all the stuffed animals to a orpanety. Mt heart goes out to these people…how do we know what we would do until we are in this position. We would stand beside our children also. No matter what happens..a love doesn’t die because they have murdered someone. We just hope they would never do this…we hope our children never do this but we never know when this will happen to us. God bless Caylee…and watch over this angel. Casey will regret every monment of this. She will pay for this. We need to pray for this family.

    23. Susan in Alabama on December 23rd, 2008 5:41 pm

Is there anyway, due to the nature of this horrific crime against an innocent child, that burying Caylee’s remains could be put on hold until the trial has ended? I’d hate to see the “nightmare defense team” demand Caylee’s remains be exhumed for another autopsy :-( If the defense wants to perform a second autopsy, they need to act fast…

    24. HOPE on December 23rd, 2008 8:03 pm

There’s nothing wrong with a family standing by a loved one that has committed a crime. But, in this case it went far beyond that… They lied to protect her.

THIS time they donated the toys to charity… after Lee was videotaped throwing the teddy bears in the garbage and it was leaked out that Cindy had insisted that he do that in the past.

Public outcry and bad publicity are the only things they seem to understand.

    25. BUN on December 23rd, 2008 8:15 pm

Tay-Lyn…lol..beaten? Reminds me of the old line that could apply here for Cindy and George “should be slapped and sterilized”!!

We would stand beside our children also. No matter what happens..a love doesn’t die because they have murdered someone.

What a crock. Some people like the van der sloots and the anthonys have a weird idea of what love is.

Of course you stand by your kid and loved one, but you sure don’t love them if you enable them when they commit a crime. Lover wants the best for the person; and taking responsibility for your actions is always the best.

We are suggesting they never talk to Casey again or that they say and do hateful things.

Allowing Joran or Casey to walk free after killing someone is not love. It’s sickness.

All my pictures seem to fade to black and white.
I’m growing tired and time stands still before me.
Frozen here on the ladder of my life.

Too late… to save myself from falling.
I took a chance and changed your way of life.
But you misread… my meaning when I met you.
Closed the door and left me blinded… by the light.

Don’t let the sun go down on me.
Although I search myself, it’s always someone else I see.
I’d just allow a fragment of your life… to wander free!
But losing everything is like the sun going down on me.

      I can’t find… the right romantic line.
But, see me once and see the way I feel…
Don’t discard me just because you think I mean you harm.
But these cuts I have, they need love to help them heal…

Don’t let the sun go down on me
Although I search myself, it’s always someone else I see
I’d, just, allow a fragment of your life to wander free
But losing everything is like the sun going down on me.

      L’Audace, L’Audace, Toujours L’Audace!

I guess some people have huge cajones. There has been questions about the source of the funds for Casey’s defense expenses. Her team approaches that of OJ’s dream team. I wonder if the money for Caylee has been hijacked for Casey’s defense. Is there anyway to obtain an accounting of the funds?

I wouldn’t mind if Casey was released for Caylee’s funeral. Maybe she will have a little accident with street justice.

But whoso shall offend Caylee which believe in me, it were better for Casey that a millstone were hanged about her neck, and that she were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Caylee has gone to a much better place and people who love her are taking care of her and no one will ever hurt again.

let’s see where those cajones take casey when she gets amongst the prison population… they aint no joke.. her life as she once knew it is gone.. the whole family is truly pathetic and void of any sense of right or wrong. how dare they ask the public to assist them with funeral costs. they stand behind casey even though she killed THEIR ONLY .. grandaughter!!! and THAN THEY have the nerve to ask us to send money… you got to be kidding. we already seen how responsible they are with money. we can do no more for caylee.. last year she sat on santas lap a happy little girl… this year she sits on jesus lap a happier little girl.. she is in a place where she will be loved and taken care of.. dont be sad for her.. rejoice that shes with jesus… even though she died in such a horrible manor… her suffering in this world with lunatic mother and grandparents IS OVER she is safer than any of us… bless her heart now many of us can rest assured knowing that she is safe…. as for those raving rambling lunatics .. they need help and I do hope that charges will be brought up against them for lying and enabling a murderess…its called obstruction of justice…

In my opinion, if the Anthony’s have enough money to stay at an expensive hotel when they flew back from Californina , they can surely afford to pay for their only grandchild’s funeral… Hey, they could have stayed at the Motel 6 or someplace similar but instead they had to stay at a very high end hotel .

They should use the funds that were raised to pay for the funeral, or, borrow some money to pay for the funeral like the rest of the world. I cared for that little girl, never met her, and do feel she deserves a proper burial, but everyone needs to pay for their own funeral. The mother should have to pay for it. No one paid for my sister’s burial, no one but my parents. It was sad and devastating, but where she was murdered- D.C.- the public did not get asked to pay.

Not one cent should go to anyone in the Anthony Family! It is a Family duty to bury their people. Gather the Relatives and their money. Leave the hearts and minds of the Non – Related alone. Enough of this Travesty. I save my grief for the unknown Father of Caylee, and his family. The Anthony’s as a whole obviously have no class. Bury the remains in private and stop begging, and appearing on Tv. The Anthony’s as a collective whole need to go back to being as they were before their daughter decided to murder their Granddaughter. We are sick for it and of it. Enough!

    37. jeannine Hinman on January 1st, 2009 6:54 pm

Just letting you know you can read the grandparent’s statements at the beginning of this nightmare and see that they loved their grand-daughter a great deal. Early on, George Anthony told detectives, what his worst fears were and literally vomited at the thoughts going through his mind. He asked that the detectives be careful in telling his wife if it appeared that Casey killed Caylee, for it would kill his wife to know they raised a child who would murder her own daughter. Read the file before you judge the grandparents too harshly. The one thing worse than losing a grandchild to murder, is to learn that your own child is the murderer. Food for thought.
