Anthony Grandparent Attorney Brad Conway Quick to Point Out That Items Taken from Home Belonged to Casey & Caylee Anthony … Zanny the Nanny Depo Canceled

Is there trouble in the Anthony paradise? Are the rats jumping off the “Good Ship Casey Obstruction of Justice” and has it become every Anthony for themselves in the case of murdered two year old Caylee Anthony? Yes, it is 2 year old Caylee Anthony as we now know that sadly Caylee never made it to her 3rd birthday.  It has not been lost on the many that follow the case of Caylee Anthony’s death that Cindy and George Anthony, Casey Anthony and Lee Anthony all have separate attorneys representing them.

Caylee_Items_removed122008

Why would all of the members of the Anthony family have legal representation if they have done nothing wrong? One thing is for certain, Caylee Anthony, She Deserved So much Better from her Family.

What is also peculiar is the comments from the Anthony grand parent’s attorney, Brad Conway, over the weekend quickly putting out to the media that the items taken from the home in Saturdays search belonged to Casey and Caylee Anthony. On Saturday, Orange County investigators obtained another search warrant for the Anthony home and removed items more items that officials state relate back to the Caylee Anthony wooded crime scene.

The attorney representing Caylee’s grandparents Cindy and George Anthony said Sunday that the items removed from their home Saturday by Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies belonged to Caylee and Casey .

Brad Conway says some of the items taken during Saturday’s search warrant were Caylee and Casey’s clothes and shoes but nothing of George or Cindy’s was taken. “This time around they took items of clothing they took some shoes and a few other items I don’t want to address right now.”

Conway was also quick to point out that his clients, “George and Cindy were not upset about warrant being served day after announcement”. Is this the new side of the appearance of cooperation and non-conflicting statements from the grandparents? Most people believe that Cindy and George Anthony may be charged with obstruction of justice with their comments and statements following the disappearance of Caylee Anthony and their sudden 180 after the 911 call by Cindy Anthony that Casey’s car smelled like death.

What is also interesting and not lost on the public is that attorney Brad Conway stated that the depositions scheduled for Monday in the Zenaida Gonzalez lawsuit have been cancelled. What, you mean Cindy and George Anthony do not want to be deposed and say things that they know not to be true in a deposition that can be used against them in obstruction charges? Say it isn’t so. Why don’t the Anthony’s just admit there is no Zanny the nanny.

Conway asked Gonzalez’s attorney John Morgan to reschedule in light of Friday’s news and the request was accepted.

Casey Anthony attorney, Jose Baez, admitted on Geraldo at Large on Saturday night that “Casey has a history of lying but that doesn’t mean she killed her daughter”. Why not Jose? What it means when it’s one persons word against her, she is provided no benefit of the doubt when it comes to telling the truth. Casey is incapable of telling the truth which means her entire story of what happened to Caylee is a lie.

When one cannot tell a simple truth as to what happened to her daughter, dreams up a Zanny story of which no one has ever met, lies to police as to where she worked, lies to police as to where she left Caylee off to be baby sat by Zanny, there is a problem. Since Casey is a liar, what it means is that any alibi or story she tells where she claims innocence cannot be trusted. Baez in turn says look at the evidence. You mean like Cindy Anthony stating in a 911 call that Casey’s car smelled like death, the human decomposition found in Casey’s car, the presence of chloroform found in Casey’s car, the internet searches on the home computer, and the not one but two search warrants signed by a judge allowing police to search the Anthony home because of evidence found at the Caylee Anthony crime scene. You mean that evidence Jose?

“We have to rely on the science and the actual evidence and if the evidence is there she will be convicted if it’s not she should be acquitted it’s that simple you start looking at trying to convict people liars as killers we’re all in trouble.”

I guess the death penalty is working it way back on the table? So much evidence against Casey.

The Anthony’s utterly DISGUST me TO NO FREAKING END!! Surely Zenaida “Zanny the Nanny” Gonzalez’s attorney RESCHEDULED the deposition and didn’t cancel it altogether. You don’t just CANCEL a deposition.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the deposition to watch Cindy and George Anthony squirm, sweat excessively, and crap all over themselves as they studder and stumble to defend themselves.

Not only has Casey’s family obstructed justice, but they are also guilty of aiding and abetting a criminal (their daughter) and perjurying themselves by lying to authorities time and time again!!

The Anthony’s have also conspired against authorities by purposely trying to throw the FBI and local law enforcement off by NOT giving them Caylee’s brush, etc. These actions were all deliberate!!

Why did Cindy, George, and Lee Anthony do this to Caylee, an innocent, defenseless child??? It was all done to protect a MURDERER (Casey), not their own precious, sweet, loving, very bright two year old grand daughter/niece :-(

I don’t know how in the world the Anthony’s lawyer says either she jailed or aquitted. The girl killed her daughter. No if ands or buts. The shame is that i’m sure the grandmother realized it when she smelled that car, that is why she had some since of panic. I believe that Caylee was killed before June, and when the mother was confronted by the grandma, that is when she concocted this rediculous story. The authorities is guilty too. I think they didn’t do enough sooner to solve this case. As soon as they realized that the car smelled of death, Casey should’ve never had a bail to begin with. I also think there’s some seedy people Casey knows that was aware of what happened. Tell me something if this was a Spanish or African American would this has lingered this long? All those who try and say maybe she made a mistake and killed her 2 year old is got to be outside their damn minds. You don’t make a mistake and kill a child by imposing harm on them in the first place, you idiots. I am totally outraged by those who make such a comment.

      Aching for Justice.

    4. Susan on December 22nd, 2008 9:47 am

And one other thing, how does Conway know what was taken from the Anthony’s home Saturday? HE DOES NOT! I doubt that law enforcement would allow Cindy and George to be present in the immediate areas of the home where items were being removed nor would LE let the Anthony’s know exactly what was taken.

This women needs to be put to death. What good is it bto have the death penality if we don’t have the ball’s to use it. Please if anyone in jail is serving a life sentence, I am begging you to give this women the death she deserves.

    7. Richard on December 22nd, 2008 10:32 am

At first I didn’t get the point about the comment that the items taken from the home belonged to Casey and Caylee Anthony. What’s surprising about that, since that was where they lived?

Then it hit me … they’re trying to put over the implication that only Casey Anthony is under suspicion. That may not be so.

Anyway, I would think the significance is not in who owned items, but who used them.

    11. Em on December 22nd, 2008 12:30 pm

The real crime of Cindy and George Anthony was forcing their sociopathic daughter into having/keeping a baby she had no interest in. I am a professional psychic for nearly 3 decades and when this case first broke I said little Caylee was dead, would be found on the 11th of November, near her home. I was off by one month to the day.I also felt that Casey wanted to abort the child but her mother found out she was with child and forced her to keep it. It was Cindy who wanted the baby. Why? Because it would have been her way of having “the perfect daughter” she did not have in Casey. Casey, resentful of the mother, decided ever before this child was born that she would get rid of her, one way or another. Cindy thought Caylee would bring Casey and her together, would make casey “normal”, now that she was a mom, but it didn’t.It made their relationship more strained as Casey now had to compete with her own daughter for attention, and since Casey was typically negative in her attention-getting devices, turned her already apathetic attitude to one of seething resentment. Cindy and george loved little Caylee. They had no direct involvement in her death.Their guilt is in the fact that they were trying to normalize an unhealthy and psychotic person in their daughter. They would have been so much better off if they had let Kiamare Torres adopt Caylee. I can guarantee you , that beautiful little girl would be celebrating Christmas and life.

has anyone considered the term “zanny the nanny” to imply Zanax or another drug being given to little Caylee to keep her quiet while mommy dearest parties?

    16. HOPE on December 22nd, 2008 4:24 pm

Richard, is no doubt, talking about the obvious. After shrugging their shoulders and saying, ‘Oh, well’ to the death of their grand-daughter (as if it meant nothing) and choosing to protect Casey from punishment; now, they are throwing their daughter under the bus, too. How fitting for a couple of enablers.

I wouldn’t be so quick to assume they are innocent of helping Casey. In my opinion, that has been their objective the whole time. Perhaps they are guilty of more than we could ever imagine…

Obstruction of justice and making false statements is only the beginning… they need to be arrested imo.

      .

How do we know that Padilla is clean? Why would anyone bail her out of jail? And all this talk about Casey using chloroform on Caylee to kill her? I had to laugh when someone on the news Friday asked him…

      How would YOU know?

      .

And, pleeeeeze, saying that killing this baby when she was in the womb would have been better? I’m speechless!

    17. Lynne on December 22nd, 2008 4:25 pm

EM psychic..According to Cindy’s brother Rick, Casey didnt tell her parents she was pregnant until after she was 7 months. Casey, Cindy and George went to her brothers (rick) wedding in june, the year Caylee was born, that made her 7 months pregnant, caylee was born in Aug. After confronting Cindy about Caseys huge pregnant stomache, Cindy flat out denied that Casey was pregnant and said Casey told her that she had to have sex to get pregnant (as if she was a virgin, yeah right). So Cindy’s denial goes WAAAAYY back!

You might be a psychic, but you got that one wrong. She was far to along to even get an abortion. Offering to give her friend Kiamarie Torrez her baby was just another one of Caseys deceitful, selfish, hurtful lies. Telling someone who could not have a baby and making her think that MAYBE she might actually have a chance to adopt a newborn and finally be a mother.

If Casey’s excuse for her lack of cooperation and silence during the search for her daughter was because she did not want to risk any harm to Caylee by the people “who have her”, why can’t she talk now since her daughter is dead? Wouldn’t it be a normal reaction to want to find the real killers?

    20. susan on December 22nd, 2008 4:36 pm

If Casey’s excuse for not talking or cooperating during the search for her daughter was because she did not want to risk harm to Caylee by the “people who have her”, why can’t she talk now? A normal reaction would be to cooperate so as to find the real kiler.

Casey killed Caylee. Cindy and George enabled Casey in an attempt to prevent Casey from the justice she deserved.

No one forced Casey to have Caylee. Casey was an adult and could do as she pleased. Heck, in a lot of states kids can have abortions without parental consent. No, an abortion would not have been better. Adoption would have been best, but Casey made the choice. Did Cindy try to persuade her? Probably. Isn’t that what parents do? I couldn’t prevent my adult child from having an abortion, but I sure would try to talk them out of it! And I sure would not do anything to assist them if they did abort a child; but would indeed assist if they did not.

Cindy’s crime is pretending Caylee was alive and enabling Casey.

Response to No. 11: Casey was 20 years old and a legal adult when she had Caylee, so she couldn’t have been “forced” into having/keeping Caylee. Someone stating their opinion on an issue does not constitute force. And I haven’t heard of too many psychopaths who consider the hopes and feelings of others when making the decision of whether or not to have/keep their child.

You say you’ve been a professional psychic for nearly 3 decades. My non-psychic self as well as the majority of the rest of the world came to the same conclusion as you did and also felt Caylee was likely dead when we first learned of this story. That doesn’t take psychic ability, just a minimal ability to perceive and rationalize the events as they were presented.

Though Cindy and George Anthony need to be accountable for their actions post Caylee’s disappearance, it is certainly unfair for you to make the statement that “the real crime” relates to Cindy and George Anthony when it is clear that “the real crime” was committed by whomever murdered this sweet, innocent child — which, once again, my non-psychic perceptions tell me was very likely Casey Anthony.

What is it about the big yellow book that Caylee is seen reading in the video on Nancy Grace? Did the FBI find this book buried with Caylee??

    29. Susan in Alabama on December 22nd, 2008 9:37 pm

It was stated on Nancy Grace tonight that the Cindy and George Anthony are asking for DONATIONS to bury Caylee :-( Also, the judge has denied Casey’s attending the funeral.

Jesse Grund, Casey’s ex-fiance, was on Nancy Grace tonight. He told Nancy the reason he and Casey broke up was because Casey told him he loved Caylee more than her!! He broke down into tears during the interview :-(

The Anthony’s have told the police Jesse should be considered a SUSPECT in Caylee’s death. This proves even more how wicked and twisted the Anthony’s really are!!

    30. babyfacemagee on December 22nd, 2008 10:14 pm

Dana writes “Why would all of the members of the Anthony family have legal representation if they have done nothing wrong?”

That’s a ridiculous statement. ANYONE that did not have an attorney looking out for their interests that is in any way involved or even related to anyone in a case that is as high profile as this would be a complete imbecile. Especially if you’ve had a relationship, family or otherwise with a person arrested for murder. Even for the sake of making sure you didn’t accidentally say or do anything that might in any way put YOU in jeopardy…even if purely by accident or stupidity…I’d have an attorney vetting everything I say. You’ve got to look out for yourself in this world and history is FULL of examples of innocent people getting embroiled into crimes and situations they had no part in and then were forced to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to eventually be cleared with nothing so much as an apology. A little money spent up front to make sure you don’t put your foot in your mouth is money well spent.

It very may well be that the parents and/or others did lie or try to conceal things or even worse in regards to this case…but the fact that they have attorneys protecting their rights and interests to me is no evidence of guilt in any way. It’s the sensible thing to do and anyone that says it isn’t is lying to themselves.

If it is true that the anthonys are trying to raise funds for caylees funeral, then i think that the people of orange county should file a class action civil suite against them for emotional distress and allowing the anthonys to obstruct justice. resulting in an increase in tax dollars required to meet the needs of the additional manpower that has been required this case. an services including police, security ,dispatchers, searchers, investigators, office personnel, dog handlers not to mention increase fuel consumption due to the transportation need to follow up on bogus leads.with additional funding required for overtime in order to meet the safety needs of the general public.

I get this feeling like she was cupped in a bed in the wooded area… all snug in her bed. I could see Casey hurting her, real bad to the point of having internal bleeding and cuts like welts. Rocking her, then giving her a xanax to help her sleep and coming back to find her dead. Is it just me, or do you think that’s possible, too.

I remember feeling like I was cupped in God’s hands and all I could do was cry. What date was that? She was left there alone, in the dark. She died with a broken heart. Too weak to say a word. She got really cold then, finally, passed. Maybe Casey kept bringing things to put over her.

But, what about the area under the play house? Could she have buried a part of her, there, as well? Maybe she did but got scared so she dug it up and wrapped it up in her gray pants, took it back to the woods and went on with her make-believe life. Until the car got impounded and her mother opened the trunk.

Question: Is there blood on any of the bedding and clothes?

    41. CV on December 25th, 2008 4:37 pm

I personally think that everyone needs to leave poor George and Cindy alone. I don’t think that any parents want to admit that the child that they raised is capable of killing another human being- let alone her own 3 yr old daughter. Obviously they have been clinging to the shred of hope that Casey was telling the truth and that Caylee was kidnapped and is out there somewhere. (The first reaction to the prospect of death of a loved one is denial. And I think that George and Cindy have just been praying and praying that ther little granddaughter would come home.) Additionally, behind closed doors, they have had Casey’s attorneys arguing in her favor and providing evidence that supports Casey’s account of Caylee’s disappearance.
Everyone accuses George and Cindy of being part of some conspiracy, when in actuality they are undoubtedly the victims in this case as well. Can you imagine the guilt and humiliation that these parents wake up to everyday knowing that they had faith in their daughter and in the end she is a sociopath. As a parent who loves her children more than anything in the universe, can you blame George and Cindy for defending their own flesh and blood? I mean, not only have they lost their precious grandaughter, Caylee, but they’ve lost their daughter too. It’s really easy to sit back and say “If I were them, I would have done things differently” but the fact is, George and Cindy did the nest they could. They raised their kids in a nice middle class neighborhood, they gave them a nice life, and I’m certain that Cindy lies in bed every night and wonders where she went wrong and how could she have prevented this tragedy. It’s easy to not see the forest from the trees, especially when dealing with a tragedy of this magnitude. Cut em a break already!

She probably used it before many times to “babysit” Caylee. She needed something new and somehow she heard about CHLOROFORM from someone and just took it from there. Maybe had used the chloroform previously and after the argument with her mother, looked at Caylee in a diffferent way. But what kind of stupid person coujld think that her footprints wouldnt be traced back on a computer and with all the forensic testing they have these days, one would have to be an idiot to think she would really get away with it, unless she was too stupid to know about it. They can almost figure out ANYTHING in crimes these days. Caylee suffered but now she is in heaven and is the happiest and safest she has ever been.

      Robin:

I’m going to address your concerns, because I happen to be here. If Caylee were being forced to huff Chloroform, she wouldn’t have been the child that we see in those pictures and videos. She never suffered in that way on a day to day basis. She was killed, beaten to death, at the hands of her mother who, in my opinion, rocked her to sleep and went to Toni’s, leaving her to die of internal bleeding. The only reason that I think it might be possible that she was given xanax is because of the excuse that Casey kept giving to her mother about Zanny the Nanny. In Casey’s sick mind, perhaps, that’s where Caylee was or that was who/what killed her, but Caylee was dead the whole time.

It won’t be long before we hear the remaining test results. I would pray, with all my heart, that this beautiful child was never subjected to drug abuse.

Well, unfortunately for you, HOPE, the burden of proof lies with the prosecution. And they are going to have to have pretty solid (factual)evidence that substantiates your “theories”. If Casey’s defense team recount a story that casts even one SHRED of doubt in just ONE juror’s mind, she’s not guilty.

Normal people don’t throw their loved ones to the wolves when times get tough; they stand by their loves ones until there’s SUBSTANTIAL proof that he/she committed a crime. And, as any attorney will tell you, until you have a body, it’s extremely difficult to establish guilt. They only this month found a body. Can you really blame the Anthony’s for supporting, defending, and believing Casey up to this point when even a jury would have a hard time convicting her? Please. It’s easy to criticise people’s choices when you haven’t walked a mile in their shoes.

I agree with Shirley…More needs to be looked at regarding who is the father of Caylee.

Also has there been anything in the documentation regarding Casey having been prescribed Xanax? How about family members? Did she have access?

      CV:

Give me a break! Law Enforcement had plenty of circumstantial evidence to prosecute Casey. The human decomposition in the trunk of her car, along with hair that, obviously, wasn’t Casey’s because it had a band of decomposition on it, the gases in the car that were consistent with decomposition along with all the lies about some make-believe nanny that never, ever existed. Believe me, Law Enforcement had plenty of evidence to convict her.

Just finding the car and upon finding Casey and bringing her home in an attempt to find Caylee would have been enough to convince me that Casey had done something to my grand daughter. Read Lee’s statement, why don’t you; and decide for yourself what happened the night that car was found. I wouldn’t have thrown her under the bus, but I wouldn’t have lied to Law Enforcement, either. I’m sure her family doesn’t hate her as much as they sympathize with her. She’s going to spend the rest of her life in jail, too bad, too sad… but if they aren’t more careful, she’s going to have her parents in the cell next to her.

And, you’re right, normal people don’t throw their loved ones to the wolves when times get tough… but Casey does. It’s pretty hard to argue with the hair testing, much less ignore it. Besides, it’s too bad the shoes of their own daughter didn’t walk as much as one mile searching for her daughter. What does that tell you? None of the things that Casey did showed love, concern or compassion for her daughter and you’re saying that, as a parent, that would be okay with you? Shower the murderess with love, if you want; but, spare me, please… there’s only one victim here, Caylee.

Love is blind, but it’s not deaf and dumb!

      P.S.

And… now thanks to a hero, they have the body.

      Thank God!

      Nite…

      Hope,

Love the last part of your post, “love is blind, but it is not deaf and dumb!” Amen!

      Thanks, Lisa!

It feels good to get a word of encouragement every once in a while. Usually, people just want to argue. Did you hear they’re going to have a public memorial for Caylee? That is so sweet… I think, at this point, she’s everybody’s child but I heard that Tim is planning on going and maybe some Monkeys! Please, let me know if you hear anything, for sure.

      Thanks, again, :)

I believe Casey Anthony is innocent! She will fry because of the tainted jury pool! Thanks to Nancy Grace! Nevermind that Nancy Grace is responsible for driving Melinda Duckett to suicide! NG deserves prison time herself! Anyways, the body was moved! To me Roy Krunk is on the creepy side and something is strange in that situation! The cops don’t want to admit they made mistakes! The cadaver dogs were in that area! They would have followed that sent very quickly if Caylee was really there in Augsust! I really feel for George,Cindy and Lee and I hope they know their are people who support them!

well i am a believer in casey’s guilt and furthermore my theory fromt he word go is that Lee is the father of caylee i know people think this is crazy but the signs are there.. i cannot believe that they are not seeking the death penalty if there ever was a deserving person this it is.. and as for Zanny .. casey made it all up there never was a zanny unless u mean Xanex her cheap babysitter.. this whole family is disgusting and should be banished from the us we dont need people like them here send them to russia they would fit in well
