Orange County detectives search Anthony home again on Saturday …

As investigators cleared the Caylee Anthony crime scene where the child’s remains were discovered a little over a week ago, detectives and Orange County police were back at the home of Cindy and George Anthony removing more evidence.

Detectives have finally finished their work at the crime scene off of Suburban Dr. A “No Tresspassing” sign and a camera was placed at the crime scene to watch over the property. Capt. Angelo Nieves  reminded the public that it was private property and those tresspassing could be subject to arrest.

Even more intriguing was the search warrant served on the Anthony home today. Once again the home of Cindy and George Anthony that they shared with indicted tot mom Casey Anthony was taped off as a crime scene again today. Investigators entered the Anthony home with an additional search warrant to gathering more evidence. As Orange County Capt.. Angelo Nieves stated, “After reviewing the crime-scene site, our investigators saw fit to obtain an additional search warrant for the Anthony residence to obtain additional items of evidence.”

Four crime scene investigation vans just pulled up at the Anthony house. The property has been taped off as a crime scene. Orange County deputies have entered the house, and crime-scene investigators are waiting outside.

Investigators have several empty boxes.

Capt. Angelo Nieves said deputies found evidence at the site where Caylee Marie Anthony’s remains were found last week and needed additional items from the household she shared with her mother, Casey Anthony, and her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony.

“After reviewing the crime-scene site, our investigators saw fit to obtain an additional search warrant for the Anthony residence to obtain additional items of evidence.”

Upon originally locating the plastic bag over a week ago, Orange County investigators had also obtained a search warrant as items located at the crime scene had a direct connection to the Anthony home. Following the initial discovery of the body, detectives took fingerprints from Cindy, George and Lee Anthony to try to rule out their involvement.

Back at the Anthony’s home again. That means they saw something in the home that was not on the previous warrant. The murder might have taken place in the home?

I was touched by Captain Nieves’ news report, yesterday. There is no doubt in my mind that he is putting his heart and soul into finding the person responsible for this horrible crime. All any of us can do, at this point, is hope and pray that they find the truth. If the way in which they conducted the investigation into the crime scene is any indication, surely, there will be justice.

Did they apprehend the Anthony family while there?

didn’t the cops take some sort of bug spray or fertilizer? maybe the body was buried in the back yard & dug up at a later date. they could be matching chemicals found in any soil in the bag.

i don’t understand why casey can’t come clean & spare everyone the continued drama.

Just breaks my heart that little Caylee was thrown away like trash. Casey should tell the
truth instead of bringing more pain to her
family and taking the memory of little casey
through even more. I feel for George Anthony as well. I think he knew his daughter was a monster.
But had that hope maybe caylee would be found.
Casey deserves the death penalty. Caylee may you
rest in peace with Jesus now.

What can you say about a mother who let her child rot in death. What can you say about grandparents who would coddle their sociopath lying daughter, grandparents who would turn on everyone wanting to help solve this case..except their damnable daughter. I have no pity for this family. Especially after learning Cindy thought she should have given the FBI the dog’s toothbrush instead of Caylee’s toothbrush. Cindy and George have used the News Media when they thought it was to their and their slime of daughter’s advantage. They are disgusting to me.

They have gone out of their way to upset the apple cart in regard to law inforcement, volunteers, and have used the news media whenever they think it is to their advantage..To Bad Caylee was even born into this family

    8. Richard on December 21st, 2008 7:39 am

They’ve already done more there than Aruba and the Netherlands put together have done at the vdScum house. No surprise….

    9. Grant on December 21st, 2008 9:54 am

Kathy, I have to agree with you when it comes to the grandparents. Not one time have they tried to work with law enforcement. As far as the defense going on about this water meter person, watch the prosecution will have evidence through foresnic testing that the body was no where else except for this location.

    10. eddieblue on December 21st, 2008 9:54 am

      Kathy -

      you are so right.

that entire family ought be thrown into jail.

they have knowm for many years that casey is insane (yes, insane), but they were too proud to consider that possibility and deal with it.

Not to worry – an insanity please won’t fly – she knows right from wrong.
Killed her sweet child, put duct tape around her head – maybe that’s how she killed her, stuffed her into a garbage bag and left her in the trunk until she started to stink.

Then she was thrown out of the car into a wooded area.

She knew she had done wrong and wanted to hide her crime.
and that will get her the death penalty.

Unless some male in the household will admit to abusing her and the women on the jury will go soft as they did with Susan Smith who should have gotten the death penalty.

Feeding, housing and taken care of the medical needs of Monsters is not something the tax payers ought to have to pay for.

Especially not in hard times like these.

      Here Here!!! Well put.

I hope justice is served and Casey does well as some big bad prison mamas b***h if not a harsher sentence. Personally, I would like to see her sentenced to general pop. in the Florida State penn for women. Let those inmates treat her as she treated her daughter. …Or better yet, Chloroform and duct tape Casey, and stuff her in a garbage bag so she too can see how it feels.

    12. TB on December 21st, 2008 10:35 am

Casey deserves her day in court. She probably will not take the stand in her own defense though
because of the numerous lies she told the police.
I want to know where the little girl’s father is, and why his family has had nothing to say regarding the disapperance of Caylee.

George & Cindy Anthony = NO IMMUNITY!

Casey Anthony= LIFE IN PRISON or DEATH ROW for THE MURDER OF YOUR DAUGHTER

Caylee Anthony= RIP Little One….You are loved by many and will never be forgotten

    14. eddieblue on December 21st, 2008 10:54 am

So the Anthony’s are going around telling people that Caylee was kidnapped?

Yeah, she was, by their daughter.

And they want complete immunity so they can’t be held accountable for their lies, deceptions and obstructions of justice?

When will that issue be decided?

    15. eddieblue on December 21st, 2008 11:05 am

So Casey deserves her day in court?

Did little Caylee have a day in court before she was executed?

The Monster will have her day in court, and then there will be Justice for Caylee!

    16. barbreee on December 21st, 2008 11:27 am

Does it bother anyone else the hundreds and thousands of dollars that have to be spent in the investigation and trials of these cases? When it is painfully obvious that Caylee was murdered by her mother?

Think of what good could be done for children in Orlando with those funds. Warm meals, new clothes and shoes for school.

While we are all grateful that Caylee has been found, these aren’t parents in the situations that Adam Walsh or Natalee Holloway’s parents have experienced.

Justice should be blind, but not stupid.

    17. Becca on December 21st, 2008 11:48 am

OMG! I still cannot believe this poor little girl was killed! And for what? SO the mother could have fun. There are so many people who would have loved to give this child a home and loved her til the end of time. A sweet little baby treated like trash.
I find it very hard that Casey will get away with this. AS look that was a place she used to play and go to all the time as a teen. Burry pets there. Hummmmmmmmmm! Makes it just right to take her dead child to this site. We may never know what has happened to this poor child but the mother killed her and that is that. If not why then did she try to get rid of her like trash and have duct tape on her mouth. I do believe that the grandparents know exactly what happened to this child and before she was found too. They are just as bad as their daughter as far as the lies and not telling the truth to the law ( FBI) and so forth. So they were guilty of the run around as much as their daughter Casey. If Casey gets out of this with out life in jail and that is too good even though I think she should suffer than be fried, then there is no justice! And her parents too for the lies as well need to do time as well.
I can go on and on about this as I have already done but this makes me so sick to see what happened to this child. I have no children but I can say I treat my dogs better than Casey treated this child.

if everyone is so sure she done it why dont you come up with real proof. everyone has convicted her based on the fact she is a crappy person, i dont like her either but before i throw some one away i need to see some proof.

when the sherriff was asked his opinion he said based on her lifestyle and lies he thinks she done it, well that aint good enough

when the ME was asked about her findings she said she found no proof of murder or struggle but based on her OPINION of the mother she rules it homicide, well that aint good enough

If our society has come to the point that we can send people to prision for life based on no proof, just because we simply dont like them then god help us. I dont like the mother either and I think she needs to get her priorities straight in her life, but i’m very uncomfortable about convicting people with no evidence, if everyone i didn’t like i could send away this would be a very messed up society, just think one day we bump into each other on a sidewalk and give each other dirty looks, what if the next day i sent you to prison based on my opinion of you. So far the only law i see that they have proof of her breaking in this case is perjury but then theres alot of wholes in that theory too, because it is far fetched but if we rely on circumstances it is possible she was set up, the apartment was used for the babysitter because it was vacant and couldn’t be traced to anyone, a fake babysitter name used or even the kidnapper simply used someone elses name (identity theft happens everyday). See these are all circumstances, not neccessarily real just made them up myself, but based on no proof, kinda the way this whole case has gone.

I would like to say thanks to all the people that contributed to finding this angel and i hope she is in heaven looking down, but if you realy want to give her justice find some proof and do it the right way.

    19. txchic on December 21st, 2008 12:59 pm

#16, it bothers me that casey won’t come clean. she’s such an IDIOT. not only for doing the unthinkable but then for not claiming an accident & admitting guilt to manslaughter charges. (not that this is what i think happened but before the body was located casey could have claimed this).

what type of attorney doesn’t advice a client to make a deal with all the evidence they have?

can the citizens of orlando sue anyone involved to recoup some of the tax $$$ spent attempting to solve this?

    20. CynzFree on December 21st, 2008 1:13 pm

I’m not one to think things that would normally be considered morbid, but I can’t shake the feeling that perhaps Casey covered Caylee’s face/head with duct tape, because, when she finally removed her body from point A to point B, there were maggots coming out of the orifices of her little face that she couldn’t destroy fast enough with insecticides.
Has anybody else wondered the same?
I praise God every single day that Caylee is in the ever-loving, everlasting arms of Jesus, basking in His perfect joy and peace, never to remember the folly that ended her life, here on earth.
JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE – TRUTH PREVAILS

Isn’t it probable she received help with the body after committing the murder?

    22. Pockets on December 21st, 2008 1:21 pm

The whole family is looking very very dysfunctional. Casey was a teenage mother who did not want this child in her life and she got rid of her, if it was an “accident”, then why do hide the body and just throw it away in a swamp. Common sense will hopefully prevail and either she will come clean and admit to killing her or a jury will find her guilty and put her away for life and hope she gets some psychiatric care, because this girl is one sick girl. The family needs some very serious counselling to deal with the tragedy and the ability to see their daughter for what she did and deal with it.
The poor child is gone but will always be in the hearts and minds of decent law abiding people.

I am not a religious person at all and don’t believe in a god or heaven. At times I wish there were a place for lives to continue on, but I just don’t believe there is, heaven and hell are right here and you are seeing a real hell on earth caused by a teenage mother with no conscience.

    23. Bev on December 21st, 2008 3:19 pm

It wouldn’t surprise me if Casey got off scot free. She has many high powered and high priced very knowledgeable people on her defense team. The trial may be another OJ thing where the brilliant attornies and forensics people get her off. One thing for sure, if she does get off she will mess up again and land in jail.

How could Casey lie to her parents like that? She put them thru Hell. How could Cindy cover for Casey? Did Cindy know what happened all along and just played the game? Maybe everyone in the family is guilty of this crime in some way or another.

Where is all the money coming from to pay for all these high priced people? Who pays the bills?

    24. Littlewon73 on December 21st, 2008 3:20 pm

I hope that little Caylee gets justice and they put that evil lady were she belongs in prison for the rest of her pathetic sorry life she is a poor excuse or a women what the hell was she thinking killing her own baby like that. And as far as the grandmother well she should rott in prison also with her sick daughter cause she’s as evil as her. I just really pray that this case isn’t going to be like the the jon bennet ramsy case that they never found justic for that prescious little miss pagent beutifull little girl yet everyone knows that the mom was the killer.

if everyone is so sure she done it why dont you come up with real proof

What do you need as proof? A video of the crime?

Our courts only demand “reasonable doubt” be overcome.

How about Casey being the last person seen with Caylee? Making up Zannie the Nannie stories? Last person driving a car that “smells like death”? Making up Pizza and dead squirrel stories to cover-up? Partying while her daughter is missing? Buying sprees on stolen money but purchasing nothing for her missing daughter? Caylee’s body found where Casey use to hide and play while Casey says she can feel her daughter “near by”? Searches on her family’s computer (which Casey had access to)about chloroform and neck breaking?

What other reasonable conclusion could a human being come to? Trust me, there will be more confirming evidence coming from that house.
      _____________-
SM: Like I always say, Justice is supposed to be blind, not stupid.

Reasonable doubt does not mean 10,000 pieces of evidence pointing toward one person and one half baked defense smoke screen on the other. That is not reasonable doubt, that is called jury nullification.
      R

    27. RLM on December 21st, 2008 10:55 pm

Jury nullification occurs when a jury returns a verdict of “Not Guilty” despite its belief that the defendant is guilty of the violation charged. The jury in effect nullifies a law that it believes is either immoral or wrongly applied to the defendant whose fate that are charged with deciding.
      __________
SM: The jury also nullifies the evidence that has been provided proving the case even as all evidence points to one conclusion …
      R

    28. kathy on December 21st, 2008 11:14 pm

I don’t care what the defense attorneys say in this case. All the prosecutors have to do is remind the jurors that Casey In March googled…Neck breaking, choroloform, Missing Children…and we know at least two of the three listed above reportedly happened to Caylee…Accident…no…that train already left the station. The only thing that saddens me more then Caylee’s untimely death is the fact the police could not put Casey in General Population…If they had been able to do this guaranteed we would have found Caylee sooner. Or Casey would have been laughing thru broken teeth, and missing most of her fingernails.

    29. HOPE on December 21st, 2008 11:24 pm

Here is a link to uses for chloroform.

      http://www.hpa.org.uk/web/HPAwebFile/HPAweb_C/1202487056202

It IS used in pesticides. Perhaps that is why Law Enforcement had pesticides on their list of items to be ceazed from the Anthony’s upon findeing Caylee in the woods.

Could it have been that after unearthing Caylee from the back yard to move her to the woods, pesticides were sprayed in the trunk of the car which would have resulted in a strong odor of chloroform?

Law Enforcement and Tim Miller have both said that once the bag was placed in the woods, it was not moved. And we know that pesticides, (maybe those with large concentrations of chloroform) go undetected by cadaver dogs. This may be the reason that the bag was not detected in the woods before the hurricane which left that area flooded and too dangerous to search. Tim Miller said it best when he said that searching the area while it was partially submerged in water, would have put whatever evidence that was there in jeopardy.

The only question that I have is this:

Would George, as an ex-homicide detective, know that cadaver dogs cannot detect the scent of decomposition when it is accompanied with pesticide or chloroform? Or was it Casey who, in her desire to kill the insects that were present, sprayed her car with pesticide?

Obviously, Law Enforcement is on the right track.
Their search for pesticides, upon finding Caylee, should tell us something.

    30. kathy on December 21st, 2008 11:32 pm

Bev I am pretty sure none of her ‘SchemeTeam’ as I refer to them.Ghouls would also be appropriate, are at this point in time making any money…money comes later for these jackels. In the form of book writing, guest appearances, and publicity that will generate $$$$ when defending future “lowlife’s” None of them are working from the bottom of there heart.

And to answer your other question in regard to Cindy knowing Caylee was dead…I think she was reasonably sure soon after the investigation began, especially when all Casey’s lies began to surface, and her own initial statement “Smells like a damn dead body in the car” And the statement Casey made to her brother stating “Maybe I’m a spiteful bitch” Hell Bev the whole damn family is no stranger to lies, deceit..as the saying goes “the apple does’nt fall far from the tree”

    31. HOPE on December 21st, 2008 11:39 pm

Caylee, the bag and the trunk of the car were probably sprayed., imo. But, to take this a step further, could the chloroform be the reason that the bones were so pristine?

      Research Time…

      Nite…

    32. scott on December 22nd, 2008 8:28 am

#18 – are you kidding me? Why do you think the FBI, the police were combing that area with fine tooth comb? Why do you think they have executed three search warrants are the Anthony home?

Casey’s actions are criminal, not just being a “crappy person.” Casey for a month lied about her whereabouts all the while, partying and participating his “Hot Body” contests. Casey never once was out searching for her daugther, not once. If that were your child, would you be sitting in your house pouting REGARDLESS of what the public thinks of you? HELL YES! Her searches on the home computer, her lying to police are all CRIMINAL actions within a homicide case.

The police and the prosecution HAVE tons of evidence against Casey and I’m sure they have her fingerprints on the duct tape among other evidence. The police are not idiots when it comes to collecting evidence. They have done everything BY THE BOOK!

It’s people like you who try to confuse the public, much like her defense team. When the evidence comes to light, like having her fingerprints, testimony from her neighbor about Casey asking for a shovel; Casey’s purchases, etc…you’ll see her dream team dissolve. THEY are already throwing in the “accident” theory because they KNOW they have an uphill battle.

THIS IS A VERY EASE CASE FOR THE PROSECUTION!

      #18 get a life!

    33. Kay Zee Ess on December 23rd, 2008 9:49 pm

This case is definitely taking the shape of a slam dunk for the prosecution and as Casey ponders whether she gets the death penalty or the opportunity of living the rest of her forlorn and miserable life behind bars, I take comfort in the fact that Caylee has found peace on this Christmas season.

Justice was very deliberate in its process of gaining evidence, but once baby Caylee was found, the house of cards she once lived in started its inevitable collapse.Time will tell how complete the destruction of this “house” becomes.

God bless Caylee, and may she rest in peace in the loving arms of Christ.

    34. kathy on December 25th, 2008 2:35 am

If you can believe this, they are reporting on television that Casey’s “SchemeTeam” is going to set up a telephone line…So anyone who has seen anything that can help prove Casey is innocent can call…I actually couldn’t believe what I was hearing…Because I know the police have received over five thousand calls regarding Caylee in the past six months…and none received that would take Casey out of the loop.
