Sick, Just Sick … Liberal PAC Ads Attack McCain’s Health … Sick Ad Only Run on MSNBC

So why hasn’t Barack Obama condemned this ad and asked for it to be stopped?

How low could LIBERALS possibly be? Watch the disgusting liberal PAC ad below that targets John McCain in a personal manner with regards to his cancer. Wasn’t it the LEFT who made the accusations that Republicans try and scare voters?

Guess who was behind the PAC, Brave New PAC and Democracy for America, and this political hit piece?Chairman of the DNC Howard Dean’s brother, James H. Dean. Federal campaign finance rules prohibit coordination between outside groups and campaigns or parties. However, we are supposed to believe that there was no coordination between brothers because they said there was none.

‘‘The fact that Howard Dean’s brother and an adviser to the Obama campaign are behind despicable and cheap smear ads against Sen. McCain is deeply disappointing, but in no way surprising,’’ said RNC spokesman Danny Diaz. ‘‘Barack Obama has promised Americans an elevated debate offering nothing but gutter, Chicago-style politics.’’

Guess who is the only network showing this disgusting ad … MSNBC. How low has the Peacock fallen? Once again MSNBC shows just how far they are in the tank for Barack Obama. What a joke. Even worse … how reprehensible could anyone be?

Two liberal groups – one of them directed by a brother of the Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean – will begin running a graphic attack advertisement Thursday morning raising questions about Senator John McCain’s health. Showing vivid and unflattering images of the fresh scar that appeared on Senator McCain’s face immediately after his last operation for melanoma skin cancer eight years ago, the commercial ends with a screen headline that reads, “Why won’t John McCain release his medical records?” (Mr. McCain, 72, did invite a limited group of reporters to inspect more than 1,100 pages of his medical records in May, …)

Obama has not released his medical records. His campaign instead released a one-page letter in May from his longtime physician, Chicago internist Dr. David L. Scheiner, that summarized 21 years of medical records and described Obama’s health as excellent.

It appears that Bill O’Reilly is more powerful than the entire MSNBC network. After his appropriate tirade last night regarding the above heinous ad, MSNBC pulled the ad. So who is running MSNBC these days, FOX News?
MSNBC has notified an independent group running an ad questioning John McCain’s health that it will no longer air the spot, only a half day after Fox’s Bill O’Reilly attacked NBC’s corporate bosses on the air over the ad, the group tells me.

The spot, which has been running on MSNBC since yesterday, is the work of Brave New PAC and Democracy For America, which is headed up by Howard Dean’s brother. It demands that McCain release his medical records and quotes doctors saying that McCain’s age and bouts with cancer should raise concern, with one saying that another round of cancer would “profoundly impact his capacity to lead.”

O’Reilly also blasted Jeffrey Immelt, the head of General Electric, which owns NBC, and top NBC exec Jeff Zucker. “They should be ashamed, but they are anything but,” O’Reilly said.

Howard Dean is the head of the DNC. His brother put out this ad. They should be investigated as you can NOT tell me any different; the DNC was involved in this ad and that is against the law.

Someone should put out an ad (NOT THAT I WOULD SUPPORT) that shows white militants in the Blue Ridge Mountains training for a race war with pictures of Obama as targetsa and it should state: How safe is Obama’s health as president?

It’s along the same sickening lines that this ad represents. It says a lot about NBC and General Electric..scum

I think that McCain ought to raise the existence of such ads in the debate tonight (yes, apparently now the debate is back on again), and also do so in his own campaign ads, and appeal to the fairness of the American people.

And ask Sen. Obama point-blank whether he will condemn these ads or not.

I think that Americans, for all that we are facing and despite the erosion in our cultural standards, are still a decent people at heart.

And if this doesn’t provoke outrage, what will?

Personally, I think it’s important that our president be in good health. Don’t you remember all that shit that Reagan forgot because of his Alzhiemers?

      How convenient :)

McCain has had skin cancer and you know why, because he worked everyday in the day in fields in the burning sun because he protected your a~~…you want to talk about cancer then check Obama, I bet he is full of cancer cells, his mother died at a very young age with cancer, he can’t hold any weight and that is a definite sign of cancer….his father was an alcoholic so there are hereditary problems there too…

    5. Alesia on September 26th, 2008 10:18 pm

Brie’s talking about alcoholics, well lets talk about the people who’s affiliated with alcoholics. Anheuser-Busch, I think Cindy Mccain is the heiress to her dads co. (witch, not a typo) is the third largest distributor of beer in US. Which cleared 370 million in revenues last year. FYI John Mccain worked for at one time. So I guess its fair to say that Obamas father and all the other alcoholics are supporting your candidates campaign, funny how that works out. Not to mention Cindy McCain is Hensley’s chairman, and she’s not involved in day-to-day operations.

She had her own charity providing emergency medical care to children, but it disbanded in the mid ’90s after McCain admitted she illegally obtained painkillers from that charity for a back problem. lol

Why is MCCain’s age not a legitimate concern? This is just getting rediculous. Republicans are starting to sound like the little 2nd grade girls that whine all day when I do recess duty…thats not fair, she is being mean…on and on and on.
For crying out loud, if McCain was applying for CEO of a Fortune 500 company, would you be concerned with age and health if you were a shareholder? Of course you would! Why can’t you be concerned as a voting citizen? I would take his age and health into consideration along side his credentials and qualifications. Like it or not, it is important!!!
In all honesty, the blogs bring more attention to these ads then the airtime they get on MSNBC thats for sure. I never would have known it was out there. Didn’t even know McCain had cancer, bless his heart. But now I do and now I will definately think about it.

Not one of us is promised that we will live to an old age.

    8. tumbleweed on September 27th, 2008 5:50 am

The problem with what is being done in this case is that it is a fear tatic without merit or basis. It plays on age discrimation. Obama’s mother had multiple cancers as the son of a former mititary man who died of cancer and from a family that has had many r deaths I can tell you that Obama’s chances of contracting the disease are most likely as high as McCains. In addition, Joe Biden had a Brain aneurysm in 1988 therefore he is a living time bomb. That leaves Palin, she appears to be the only one of the group without a stigma of possible early death. You might very well see a President Palin as the rest could all be dead long before her. That suits me just fine she is one of us,a real person, and strikes me as a Harry Truman type leader. “Give Em Hell Sarah”.

Obama is getting desperate and the desperation is bring forth his true colors. The Obama ads of late are outright lies. They take a portion of a statement by McCain or someone else and play it as if that’s all that was said. Case in point a current Obama ad which misquotes Roy Blunt, trying to put forth the idea that McCain blew into DC and broke up a “deal” with the bailout. That’s not what Blunt said.

Next this morning on the news the Obama camp is putting forth that McCain said “sure” on supporting the bailout package. What McCain said, was that neither of them knew yet the provisions of the package(the same thing Obama said) but did he want to support the end result – sure.

It’s sad when the only way you can keep your poll numbers up is by outright lying about the other candidate. But then, that’s the Chicago way.

Washington has sure learned well these past few weeks.. $6.6 in earmarks on latest bill.. passed

WASHINGTON – Automakers gained $25 billion in taxpayer-subsidized loans and oil companies won elimination of a long-standing ban on drilling off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts as the Senate passed a sprawling spending bill Saturday.

The 78-12 vote sent the $634 billion measure to President Bush, who was expected to sign it even though it spends more money and contains more pet projects than he would have liked.

The measure is needed to keep the government operating beyond the current budget year, which ends Tuesday. As a result, the legislation is one of the few bills this election year that simply must pass. Bush’s signature would mean Congress could avoid a lame-duck session after the Nov. 4 election.

Bush had threatened to veto bills that did not cut the number and cost of pet projects in half or cause agency operating budgets to exceed his request. Democrats ignored the edict as they drafted the plan and the White House has apparently backed down.

Taxpayers for Common Sense, a watchdog group, discovered 2,322 pet projects totaling $6.6 billion. That included 2,025 in the defense portion alone that cost a total of $4.9 billion. Critics of such “earmarks” promise to scrutinize them in coming weeks and months for links to lobbyists and campaign contributions.

      This is a legit ad.
I wish more people would question McCain’s health.
Melanoma is a deadly cancer and McCain has had it 4 times!
I have had several basal skin cancers and my dermatologist keeps me under close watch because he told me’ you don’t want to get Melanoma.

McCain’s last Melanoma went deeper into the skin, that’s why they needed to get and check the lymph nodes.
He did make the thousand plus notes available to reporters, but for a very very limited amount of time.
It was not like they were very open with his medical prognosis.

And his health is very important because of Sarah Palin. SHE SHOULD NEVER EVER BECOME PRESIDENT OF THE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      _______________
SM: Yea Diane … it was such a legitimate ad that its now been pulled.

Find a way in your day to not just be evil all the time. People are cancer survivors. Ever heard of them?

Maybe you can call Obama and have him release his medical records. If you are so concerned about health issues, its not like cancer does not attack all ages.

If you thought that the ad was OK, then God help you.
