I remember on Mother’s day 2008 I was taken out by my children for brunch, after he drank 2 gallons of his wiskey,he shoved me three times & tryed to lock me in the bedroom that day the police came to get him & I finaly let go of domestic violence. I had been with an alcholic for 4 years. He was just a boyfriend, thank god. But I made alot of excuses. I was scared like walking on egg shells. He would pass out many times, falling on the floor, sleeping in the tub, peeing on the floor, walking in his sleep & coming back to bed beating on me & saying I was on his side & pushed me to move. I was scared to go to sleep. It was better when he passed out on the couch. hoping he did not wake up in the night.I have a special section in my online store. I refuse to keep quiet about domestic violence. He got no jail time, but a restraining order till 2013. He fought the court battle for 6 months. At the end he told the judge drinking wiskey at 2 to 3 gallons a day was not the problem in the relationship. Now I have recovered all levels of stress. It was hard. I create my designs in my store wish is great therapy.
