“Unwittingly, Cindy Anthony washed the pants.”

      Unwittingly.

      Without wits?

    2. richard on August 8th, 2008 8:18 am

I wonder if these people have a computer ….

    3. da_wench on August 8th, 2008 8:40 am

The Anthony’s computer was taken by LE on July 16th.

    4. Treehouse on August 8th, 2008 9:24 am

      The Anthony’s cumputer, yes. Lee’s?

    5. May on August 8th, 2008 9:24 am

I am so sad to hear the phone call did not come in. I know casey has lied and lied but I really wanted to believe her about the phone call and talking to Caylee. I don’t know this little girl has captured my heart but I get on the internet daily hoping and praying they have found her alive and well. This just breaks my heart.

About Zinada, I realize the woman didn’t live where Casey said, but something to think about is if(Iknow it is a BIG IF) Zinada did have something to do with Caylees disaperance, why would she tell anyone she knew Casey and Caylee, when Casey keeps lying about everything. It would be easy to say No I don’t even know them, more then likey she would be believed over the lying mother in jail. I am glad they are not ruling her out based on her word, you just never know.

    6. Treehouse on August 8th, 2008 9:26 am

      Sorry. cOmputer.

It seems to me when Cindy makes comments on camera that the news media and the LE are “listening to speculation”, she is referring to theories posted online.

    7. Treehouse on August 8th, 2008 10:04 am

      Speaking of theories…

The one about Caylee being left in a hot car. It wouldn’t have needed to be a “hot” car. Just leaving a child that age in a car alone, period, presents plenty of opportunity for something to happen to the child.

Did she have toys with her? Did she get choked on a toy part? Is it possible for a child that age to hang herself on the clothes rack?

Something like that doesn’t take hours to happen.

If a terrible accident did happen, you’d think a mother would be screaming for help on discovery. Then, again, guilt (deserved or perceived) causes fuzzy thinking. I.e., can’t let mom and dad know…people go to jail for negligence…pretend it never happenned…etc.

Remember the poor guy who went to jail when his infant was killed due to the passenger side airbag inflating in a fender-bender? He was guilty of not turning the passenger side airbag off. I’m not sure that most people at that time in history would have thought about that. We all think about it now, because we remember what happened it this guy’s case.

I just wish that Casey had reported the truth (whatever the truth is) at the time Caylee went missing. Such a mistake to carry on in her life as if nothing had changed.

    8. da_wench on August 8th, 2008 11:59 am

Regarding the “flurry of calls” that Casey made to her mother, father and two other individuals, why did they go unanswered? Six calls to mom, six to dad and others to unnamed persons go unanswered and never returned. Did she leave messages? Did they call back later? What was her mood like when they did speak to her next? Didn’t they wonder why so many calls?

Where was Casey taking Caylee every day that she told her parents she was working? Did she have Casey with her all day or was she leaving her alone in car? an empty apartment? What was Casey didn’t when her parents thought she was working?

I agree with the poster(s) who think Casey and Joran would make a great couple. I hope they rot in hell together!

    9. da_wench on August 8th, 2008 12:00 pm

Ooops…what was Casey “doing” when her parents thought she was working?

    10. patty Miller on August 8th, 2008 2:36 pm

I don’t know if this is where to leave this thought but I just have to ask.
I find it strange that the family has always plead for everyone to just find her. They never have gotten in front of the cameras to plead with whoever has her to please return her. I have never heard any family member do that.
the grandmother gets mad at everyone but casey. She demands everyone to look for her grand daughter. Why doesn’t she demand her daughter to tell everything she knows.
I personally am afraid it’s a case of mom wanting to be single and get rid of the child. We have seen it before.

    11. Skyboxx on August 8th, 2008 3:25 pm

Family knows and is about to lawyer up. To borrow a line from famous movie, let’s look at this thing from point of view of status? What do we have that’s right with this case?

Casey alleges she talked with Caylee the day of disappearance. Phone records can confirm inbound and outboud calls Status:Didn’t happen.

Casey says she worked at Universal: Status: Had worked there for nearly 3 years.

Casey alleges there is a baby/nanny. Where is the composite sketch? Where is the FBI composite sketch that says, “IF YOU HAVE SEEN THIS WOMEN CONATACT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT?” Status: Police didn’t make on up because Casey hasn’t offered a description or will not cooperate.

Where is the Grandparents pleading on TV for the captors to return their granddaughter? Where is the pleas for humanity to to have their granddaughter returned safe? Status: Grandparents only want to lash out at media, hire personal assistants and create as much pre trial exposure hoping against hope they can get a mistrial for their daughter. They know, the whole family knows something.

Where are CASEY’s friends verifying the existance of the Nanny. Surely someone, somewhere has seen this nanny. Status:No one is talking, no one can corroborate the story.

Where is the ex-boyfriend, ex Orlando cop who quite days before Grandma called 911? Status: Cops are a brotherhood…..

Grandma “unwittingly” washed casey clothes (evidence) before they came for them. Status: Coverup is well underway.

If Grandparents aren’t careful they will be charged with obstruction or accessories after the fact.

Time for Casey to tell what happened. Probably an accidental death due to negligence, but tell the truth, get this over with. The LIES will only bury you and your family.

      What a tragic waste

    12. Buzz on August 8th, 2008 5:08 pm

If this was an accident, and I lean that way, I wish Casey would come clean so the healing can begin.

Personally I can not imagine how empty and lonely the Anthony home will be tomorrow.

    13. Maggie on August 8th, 2008 6:22 pm

Casey had 30 days to make up all these stories and alibis.. She knew her daughter was gone and how. Cops are already 30 days behind her. Just like the Sloots and Kalpoes had 10 days to make up stories and alibis.

Watched Julie Banderas on Fox today and she said the mother and all her lies reminds me of the suspects in Aruba and all their lies. She said she wants her daughter found and all she has done is lie, mislead and send the cops on wild goose chases.. Sounds just like Aruba.

One would think if your child had an accident you would call 911 for medical help unless you were engaging in something that could get you in legal trouble.

I think the cop bf was interviewed. At first Casey’s mom said that Caylee had been missing since June 9th.. The cop bf said he heard Casey reprimanding Caylee, after the 9th, for being on a table. He also said he was not the baby’s father. I think it’s good he left the force, due to conflict of interest. The grandmother changed the date to the 15th after that.

I totally agree why isn’t the parents pleading with the kidnapper and why do they want everyone else to go find her grandchild when her own daughter is doing zip to help out.

These are from the forum of the arrest documents if you want to read them.. Nothing but lie after lie.

    14. BUN on August 9th, 2008 6:55 am

Today is Caylee’s 3rd birthday, I predict she isn’t going to make the party in person, maybe in spirit. Casey sits in jail and probably will receive murder charges very soon. What’s wrong with this picture?

    15. Susy Q on August 9th, 2008 7:10 am

About the putative father…. I read on the net that the family of “John” the young man who was killed in a car accident. had never mentioned Casey or Cayley to them. They were shocked when they heard about the story and went and searched their son’s high school yearbook and saw that Casey had been a student at the same high school. It was a very large school. Maybe this is a made up net story but if true then there could be a “real father” out there somewhere…I wish the police would charge Casey’s parents with something. Tampering with potentional evidence…washing pants etc.

    16. Ray on August 9th, 2008 9:17 pm

I hope that whole family ends up in jail. They are all lieing snakes.

    17. May on August 9th, 2008 9:26 pm

Casey’s lawyer once again asking for lower bond…..maybe they should do it, the way this lady is acting she will probably lead someone right to where Caylee is.

    18. Patti on August 10th, 2008 12:06 am

      I agree with Ray:

It’ obvious. In the beginning, the grandma was scared because Caylee was missing. She told the police everything. But, when she came to realize that there was a possibility that her daughter might be involved, she has discounted her previous statements. Washing the pants is not the act of a concerned grandma, in this case; but, rather a concerned mother.

Now, she’s got her a new do and comes on camera telling the reporters to get their ‘asses’ out there and find Caylee. Why doesn’t she try to find her own grandbaby? Or… atleast, grab her daughter out of those dance clubs and get HER butt out there?

I think it’s just a matter of time before the police wil have a second degree murder charge filed against Caylee’s mom and, perhaps, aiding and abetting charges against the grandparents.

Any chances Casey’s on drugs?… Cocaine, Ecstacy?

      .

    19. BUN on August 10th, 2008 6:44 am

Is it possible that the whole “challenged” family has just forgotten where they put the little girl? “Well, you had her last!!” “No, that was 30 days ago!” “She wanted to play with a gas can..” “I went to a party and forgot she was with me!”….I feel they all need jail time!!

    20. Betty on August 10th, 2008 1:40 pm

It is too much of a coinicidence that Zenaida Gonzeles was at the same apartment building looking at an apartment on June 17th, the same day as Casey took Caylee there. Two employees at the apartment building said the person named Zenaida Gonzales had been there and it was a Hispanic woman and not Casey who looked at the apartment. Zenaida, herself, told the news media and the investigators that she had indeed gone to look at an apartment there on July 17 (apt. 210). Zenaida Gonzeles claims she does not know Casey. But this is too much of a coincidence and it should be researched further. There has to be some connection there. There has to be some kind of connection between Gonzeles and Casey. When Casey was shown a picture of this Gonzeles she said she did not know who she was. But I still think this avenue should be investigated further. There are a lot of rotten people in this world.

    21. Maggie on August 10th, 2008 6:38 pm

My guess is that Casey had a month to come up with these names. She had a month to begin to make up fake alibis.. She took 700 dollars in checks from a friend.. Stolen identity..

      1. I don’t believe there is a babysitter.
      2. I think they are all a little cuckoo..
      3. Mother is a nurse, father is a cop.. they aren’t stupid, when they are alone they know what this looks like.
      4. When your child goes missing or is kidnapped you don’t go out and party and feel up other women, borrow shovels because a little piece of grass in the back might grow up, steal gas, steal a car, steal money, wait 31 days to report it and then your mother does, have your car smell like a dead body, lots of phone calls right after, have cadaver dogs hit on your yard and car not once, but twice, sit in jail and complain noone wants to talk about yourself, they only want to talk about the missing child. They aren’t even helping look. The mother is in jail wanting the bf’s phone number not saying where is my daughter. One lie after the other to mislead police and then refuse to cooperate. They said last week if the FBI came in the daughter would talk to the FBI, they didn’t trust the police.. FBI have been there a week and she still isn’t cooperating. Casey isn’t dumb. This is not a mother looking for her child or her whereabouts.. and the family asking the public to find her when their own daughter won’t do nothing about lie and was the last one with her,,, is a farce.

Alibis for when the police announce a body was in the trunk-
      A) A friend took the car to the repair shop. (Cindy said this during her last Greta interview.)
B).Anybody could have gotten into the trunk after it was towed.
      C) The car was stolen with Caylee in the car. Remember Casey’s purse was in the front seat.
D). It was an uncooked pizza.

    25. skyboxx on August 13th, 2008 7:12 pm

Is Casey not eating in Jail? Is she on suicide watch? Heard a rumor to that regard. Anyone?

    26. fuzzy on August 17th, 2008 2:43 pm

I believe Casey was in the habit of leaving Calyee in the car and likely the trunk, telling Caley mommy was going shopping,(while actually hooking for cash to cover her job story, partying or drunken overnight stay somewhere) and to stay quiet til mommy came back like it was a hid and seek game. she stayed away too long, and returned to find Caley dead in the overheated trunk. I believe initially she knew she was guilty of neglect and owuld be blamed by law and her parents so she quickly concocted the kidnap story and began laying the plans to boy hid Caleys body and to lay out a foundation of some phantom baby sitter. She went to the apartments to find prospects and somehow saw the info card card in the office bearing the name of the supposed baby sitter that no one had seen. flaw was she didnt realize she didnt live there and that the apt in question had been vacant for five months. she likely hid backpacks knowing they would be found and to bolster theory of kidnapping. She dumped Caylees body and likely burned it using the two gas cans and dumped the car planning on retporting it stolen of course. all to avoid the blame of negligent death of her daughter which her parents woudl never forgive her for though theve allowed her every exception and enabled her all her life. She will stick to this story unless threatened with homicide and then the “accident story will come out” and she will stick to that to her dying day. she will likely never be convicted of more than a negligent homicide and if she sticks to her story it might be only charges of desecrating a corpse Longest sentence likely five to ten years and only serve 18 mo if that. by then she will be pregnant with another to get back in graces of her enabling parents. what a mess. She went to the apartments to find prospects and somehow saw the info card in the office bearing the name of the supposed baby sitter Zineada that no friends or family had met or seen. One flaw in the story was Casey didn’t realize Zineada didn’t live there and that the apt in question had been vacant for five months. Casey likely hid backpacks knowing they would be found and to bolster theory of kidnapping. She dumped Caylee’s body and likely burned it buried it using the two gas cans and borrowed shovel and dumped the car planning on reporting it stolen of course. all to avoid the blame of negligent death of her daughter which her parents would never forgive her for though they’ve allowed her every exception and enabled her all her life. I believe initially that Cindy Anthony was correctly scared and correctly identified the dead body smell in the trunk but has realized if Granddaughter is dead, she might also risk losing her own beautiful sweet, spoiled rotten Lying sociopath of a daughter. Cindy has decided to not lose both and now spends her time trying to help her daughter by pretending to believe her story and as a cops wife by washing Casey’s dead body smelling clothes. Mom and dad will now do anything to save their daughter who cant possibly give them another child if locked in prison for life or past child bearing age before she gets out. This family is sick and Casey is just the product of the enabling family who learned to take advantage of their enabling of course.
what a mess. Fuzzy, retired CSI
