Barack Obama Chickens Out of Town Hall Debates Against John McCain … What Happened to Debate McCain Any Where, Any Time?

BARACK OBAMA … CHICKEN!!!

Barack Obama is no rock star, he is a Obama_Chickenstudio produced candidate incapable of thinking or responding independently from a pre-rehearsed speech or a teleprompter.

Barack Obama, the Democratic candidate for the President of the United States has chickened out of debating Republican John McCain in town hall style debates. So why is Obama being an coward and ducking McCain? Is Obama afraid that soon to be 72 year old John McCain can out think him and out maneuver him to discuss “We the People’s” questions on the fly without prior knowledge of what may be asked? You mean Barack Obama is afraid to speak and discuss his views if he were President in an off the cuff type of debate because he is afraid of the gaffes and blunders he may stumble into? This is what people want for a President … a candidate who cannot just talk to them without being rehearsed!?!

Democratic candidate Barack Obama on Saturday backed away from rival John McCain’s challenge for a series of joint appearances before the political conventions, agreeing only to the standard three debates in the fall.

In May, when a McCain adviser proposed a series of pre-convention appearances at town hall meetings, Obama said, “I think that’s a great idea.” In summer stumping on the campaign trail, McCain has often noted that Obama had not followed through and joined him in any events.

On Saturday, in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said the short period between the last political convention and the first proposed debate made it likely that the commission-sponsored debates would be the only ones in the fall.

Chicken_xing

“We’ve committed to the three debates on the table,” campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Saturday in an interview. “It’s likely they will be the three appearances by the candidates this fall.”

Asked by The Associated Press if that meant Obama would not agree to any other debates, Psaki said, “We’re not saying that.” She said the McCain campaign had rejected Obama’s proposal for two joint town hall meetings. (Fox News)

Not only is Barack Obama a chicken, he is a LIAR!!! Remember when Barack Obama said he would debate John McCain any where, any time? If you have forgotten, as obviously Obama has, watch it for yourself.

So why is Barack Obama running scared? Is Obama actually afraid that a 71 year old candidate can out perform him in a “live” and unrehearsed debate setting? Is Obama afraid that a “so-called too old” candidate will embarrass him? Obama claims to be a rock star and play to 100’s of thousands of people when he speaks. However, it appears that the Obama rock star is nothing more than a studio produced candidate who is only as good as his rehearsed pre-written speech is. It is obvious that Obama’s campaign thinks their candidate would fail in discussing the issues of “We the people” in an unscripted format. I guess he is too good for the common fold “Town Hall” debate and its “Beneath A Worldwide Celebrity”

The Obama campaign has stated that McCain’s recent ads refuse to discuss the issues and instead are juvenile. So when McCain does put forth the challenge … Obama chickens out. Instead of a free and open debate, Obama runs from the town hall debates challenge issued by McCain.

As Wake Up America states from the McCain campaigns response to Obama’s ducking of the debates,

via Brian Roges, a McCain spokesman, “We understand it might be beneath a worldwide celebrity of Barack Obama’s magnitude to appear at town hall meetings alongside John McCain and directly answer questions from the American people, but we hope he’ll reconsider.”

Wow, looks like Macsmind and Scared Monkeys are on the same page. I just came across this blog post, McCain and Mr. Chicken. They remind us in the video below just how inept Obama really is in a town hall setting.

Of course he won’t debate because he sucks at it. Evidenced by his less than stellar – and sometimes awkward – performances in the primary debates, the last thing “Mr. Chicken” wants is unscripted moments in front of the nation.

How bad is it when he’s off script? Once again Obama Unscripted:

Republicans should put an ad on TV showing Obama doing the chicken dance in the costume wearing a Pinocchio nose and a pair of flip-flops….he just becomes worse and worse….

I want to see a commerical showing McCain as a kid eating from a silver spoon, then almost getting kicked out of the academy for being in the bottom five percent of his class, then show McCain crashing four jets and big daddy admirl coming to his aid. Then coming home from five years as a prisoner and having an affair and dumping his wife for some cowgirl beauty queen that has enough money to bolster his career.

I want to see an ad like that.. But I know I never will because some people have enough class unlike others…

It’s apparent Obama sets all the terms of this campaign and drives the debate. Except for the pathetic smear jobs or gutter dwelling low-road Rovian pop-star ads, McCain just sits on his thumbs, watches jealously, and reacts.
3 debates – Sorry, that’s just how it goes wingnuts. It’s called “politics”. Grow up, get a clue, stop your crying. McCain’s camp and the wingnuts whining and the chorus of kindergarten taunting will not change that fact.

“We understand it might be beneath a worldwide celebrity of Barack Obama’s magnitude to appear at town hall meetings alongside John McCain and directly answer questions from the American people, but we hope he’ll reconsider,” spokesman Brian Rogers said.
How can anyone take McCain’s campaign seriously anymore, because they don’t seem to be taking this election seriously anymore.

Obama’s busy. He’s setting up several offices in each state, trying to get his message across while countering McCain’s juvenile antics. Some 71 year old he is. But be careful for what you wish for. Just like the call for Obama to go to Iraq, Obama will outwit and outshine McCain in the debates and McCain will be wishing for fewer debates. Hopefully, between now and then, McCain will get a message other than Obama this and Obama that.

It’s sad to watch McCain spill out the talking points he has diligently memorized before an interview. He is so obviously in the not-so-early stages of Alzheimers. Try asking him about a vote he made a few years ago and watch the confusion come over his face. Ever notice how he always has a babysitter close by him lately? McCain in his diminished mental capacity is being used as a Bush puppet to serve Bush’s 3rd term. How much you want to bet if McCain wins that Jed Bush is put in a high position to help watch over the office as the illness completely disables McCain.
As for “having some fun” we Americans who are suffering in this economy are not wanting a laugh from the presidential candidates. We want some answers and we deserve for our problems to be taken seriously. The GOP are completely out of it if they think we are in need of gimmicks and juvenile jokes. They need to grow up and face the reality of what is going on across the country. We weren’t all fortunate enough to marry into millions.

Such a liar. His response to the “Paris Hilton ad” was to say that McCain “Didn’t want to debate the issues, but only wanted to go negative.” Then he complains that 8% of white voters want to vote for McCain simply because he is white. How mnany black voters prefer Obama simply because he is black ? This guy is a classic demagogue. For all you young people who like him, look up this word: sophistry. This is the only thing he is good at.

      #5, Go suck eggs.

This is exactly a perfect example of the miserable dirt that Liberals have to offer. McCain does a funny spoof on Obama and Liberals offer up hate like McCain has Alzheimer’s.

Glad to see you are offering up the Obama talking points. Now go back and worship at the alter of Obama.

You liberals are so asinine with your weak ass GWB third term crap. What a bunch of BS. Every sane person knows that McCain is no GWB. That is was so many Republicans questioned McCain as a candidate. Because he was not a conservative republican, many considered McCain a RINO.

      More lies from the LEFT.

But the LEFT cannot answer the question why the Obamamessiah is scared to debate McCain. You make fun of McCain’s age and hatefully reference he has Alzheimer, yet he could kick Obama’s ass in a Town Hall debate. What does that say about Obama?

Obama is a joke and a studio produced candidate. Nothing more.

McCain’s grandfather and father were Admirals. He got into Annapolis because he was an Admiral’s kid. He was a child of privilege. How did he honor the gift and family tradition of attending Annapolis? He graduated 894th in a class of 899 cadets. I doubt that most people recognize the significance of an Admiral’s kid finishing in the bottom ½ percentile of his class. McCain was either too stupid to deserve being accepted at Annapolis or he was disgracefully unappreciative of the privilege of attending Annapolis. Can you imagine the “pride” his father felt when he was either too dumb to earn even marginally acceptable grades or he felt too entitled and protected to even feel the need to try and earn acceptable grades? In either case, McCain clearly didn’t deserve to be at Annapolis, and he certainly didn’t work as hard as he could have to honor his grandfather and father. McCain had to be either unimaginably stupid or insufferably lazy for 895 cadets to outperform him in a class of 899. McCain didn’t just perform poorly; he was undeniably one of the absolute worst students in his class! And now he wants to be president. Only a Republican could be as book stupid and or as irresponsibly arrogant as John McCain is and win his party’s nomination for the presidency. Now let’s compare his academic achievements and or his work ethic to a poor black kid who was raised by his white grandparents without any privileges, and worked his behind off to graduate magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. OK, so there is no comparison.

Go suck eggs?Is that the best you can do????When Dubya was “selected” in 2000, I thought that stupid Americans got what they deserved. After he duped the country once again in ’04, it was even more evident to me that most Americans are ignorant of the facts and don’t seem to care about it. John McCain and Co. know this and are pandering to the lowest common denominator. This, of course, doesn’t make me feel any better, because, I’m an American who does not deserve this nonsense. I believe in equality and fairness and democracy and the Constitution, which the current administration is tearing to shreds. McCain and his band of merry men spin and the media repeats it as fact. The media is more responsible for this mess because they don’t report the facts, just Republican talking points. It’s time for the media to stop spewing propaganda and start to report the unvarnished facts and let the readers and viewers decide. CBS and ABC are almost as bad as FoxNoise. I know that MSNBC is liberal, but, at least I am aware of that. Most people are unaware and unwittingly believe what they hear. Shouldn’t at least the main networks be unbiased? And, why doesn’t someone fact-check McCain’s tv ads for the truth? Why should he be permitted to air such lies? Aren’t there some standards that should be upheld?

SEN. McCAIN: No. No. I-the fact is that I’m different but the fact is that I have agreed with President Bush far more than I have disagreed. And on the transcendent issues, the most important issues of our day, I’ve been totally in agreement and support of President Bush.

      Nice try #8.

#9 So McCain is an idiot because he finished 895 out of 899? He made it didn’t he? Are you saying that they gave him a free pass because of who his parents are? Get real. So what if they did? I didn’t see any liberal hippy crybabys standing in line to fly over Vietnam. Even the last one in the class is way beyond the intelligence of a normal person. Do you know what they have to learn to be a fighter pilot? They have standards that he passed, he flew in combat and that makes him a hero. The fact that he never broke under torture makes him a leader. So all you crybaby liberals who have nothing better to combat Obamas spinless wavering GFY.

PS. go check my previous posts, I told you Obama would not debate McCain. He can’t think on his feet or come up with an original thought if he tried.

Politics as usual, and the mindless sheep follow the media and forget to think alittle for themselves. What does America (and the world) need ? A brain damaged 70 plus manchurian candidate with the same list of political chronies, failed concepts and policies or a fresh young face with new ideas, intelligent, motivated, with a vision for a new direction and a new era of innovation, cooperation and progress at home and in the world community…. duh?

I am a 22 year old college student from Cleveland, Ohio. I watched Rachel Marrow’s first show last night and was thoroughly entertained. She interviewed Pat Buchanan and it is what inspired this email. I first want to address Sarah Palin’s religion being off limits. Pat said it should be off limits and Rachel disagreed and in response, Pat brought up Obama’s religion in defense of Sarah Palin. Talk about hypocrisy and besides as he brought up himself, Obama’s religion was questioned…and that was O. K.! When Obama was still seeking the Democratic Nomination all kinds of dirt was brought up. Not only was his pastor called into question but certain media outlets also portrayed him as being Muslim. What seems to be going on is Republican protection of Sarah Palin. She put her family and her families business in the spotlight. Then she kept herself sequestered from the public. Sarah Palin was nothing more than a ploy to get votes. The funny thing about all this is they (McCain/Palin) are stealing Obama’s platform of change. You cannot be for change when you agreed with Bush 90% of the time. Another point important to bring up is in the last election Kerry was deemed a “flip-flopper” How is McCain any different or better? He had his views for 26 years and now (now meaning most recently) he has completely different views. My worst fear is that the majority of the public, Americans, are generally uninformed and go on what they see in TV clips and headlines. They will not get the facts and see that Sarah Palin is unprepared and running soley on her pretty face and smeared facts about her credentials and accomplishments..i.e. “the bridge to nowhere” and that John McCain is no better and definitely not an agent of change. It seems John McCain is willing to say and do anything to get elected..one ploy after another. On the other hand, everything I have seen from Barack Obama has been honesty, straight-forward talking, and the real agent of change. It is important to note that I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio one of the poorest cities in the country and fought to make something of myself. So, I do relate to Obama’s story but would never vote for someone because of that. I don’t need a friend for president. I need a strong role model that truly has the country’s best interest at heart as well as the know how and capacity to endure and deliver. That last comment goes to the Palin supporters who see a women and a mother of five and expect to vote off that. WE MUST GET INFORMED!!

      Thanks for listening,

I am clearly an obama supporter…what does it take for people to see McCain is the real poser? I have to admit he is clearly an excellent politician. I was an independent voter but for this election I proudly declare myself DEMOCRAT. Obama clearly did not debate mcCain but lets be realistic what could McCain say with substance? There is a reason he is not seen with bush or cheney and there is a reason he does not mention issues in detail…He voted with bush 90% of the time!! not to mention the fact that he claims he will change this and that but the reality is he has been in the senate for 26 years or so and he has voted against all the policies he claims he is for now in this election i.e. alternative energy. we must get informed. I think that before people choose sides they should clearly observe both candidates as objectively as possible then decided as did I. If that is done you will see how transparent McCain is. McCain is 4 more years of the same. Lets not be oblivious to our surroundings. The country is in turmoil in every possible aspect…do we really want to continue the same policies that got us here??

      sincerely,
an informed and concerned college student

#6 clearly you are misinformed…I hear your opinions loud and clear but where are you gathering your facts from…smear ads? realisticly you sound angered but hilary clinton went after baracks jugular for the democratic nomination and thats why there are so many disgruntled hilary followers. She did not get picked but the truth is her policies ideals are very similar to Obamas. When did he say or do anything to deserve to be called a flip flopper?
