Gaffe Alert: Barack Obama Expects to be President for Next 8-10 Years … So Much for the 22nd Amendment

If Obama makes a gaffe on the campaign trail and the MSM does not report it, does that mean it did not happen?

Yet another gaffe from the media chosen one, Barack Obama. However, we Obama_tounge tiedshould be come accustomed to these occurrences with Obama. For the candidate who struggles with how many states actually make up the United States, why should the knowledge of the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution be known.

Barack Obama expects to be the President of the United States for the next 8 to 10 years.

Today on CBS’s Face the Nation, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in Afghanistan, told the paparazzi-pursued correspondent Lara Logan that “the objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki or President Sarkozy or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to 10 years.

“And it’s important for me to have a relationship with them early, that I start listening to them now, getting a sense of what their interests and concerns are.”

As Stop the ACLU asks, “Of course, the big question is, will we see this idiot gaffe race through the MSM as it would if a Republican had said it?” I believe we all know the answer to that question. We all know there is no bias in the MSM and that they have been completely impartial during the primaries and now the general election coverage. Can anyone imagine if George W. Bush had made such a comment? He would be called and idiot and a dunce. However, when it’s the chosen one … he just misspoke or he was tired. And the late night talk show hosts state that they can’t find anything to make jokes of about Obama. It would more appear its because they just don’t want to.

A long twisted tongue….what kind of more trouble is this guy going to get us into…. he is a loose cannon….you only say you want to end the war to gain political votes, not to protect America, whom you show no allegiance to, as well as Michelle….!!!

      OK, you wanna compare gaffes?

McCain (twice last week) mentions, with disapproval, the grief that Russia is trying to bring to Czechoslovakia. Problem is, Czechoslovakia hasn’t even existed for 15 years.

McCain can’t comprehend the difference between Shias and Sunnis, even with Lieberman in his ear, trying to get him to correct his monumental blunder.

McCain just today, on Good Morning America, tells Diane Sawyer that yes, he’s concerned about Pakistan, especially with the seriousness at the Iraq-Pakistan border. Uhhhh, Senator? Iraq doesn’t even HAVE a border with Pakistan. Pakistan has a “serious” border with Afghanistan, and Iraq has a “serious” border with Iran.

Besides, Obama never said he’d be President for 10 years; he said he might be dealing with these foreign leaders for 8 to 10 years. Ex-Presidents DO still interact with foreign leaders from time to time. W may not, because he’d have trouble finding a world leader that would take his phone calls after he’s alienated most of the world.

He is a liberal dunce who can’t wait to open the temple granaries to the poor. Look for Brazilian style inflation if this charlatan wins.

Ure, why let facts get in the way of a good rant? Let’s put some words in his mouth, claim he said it, and then ridicule him.

And if anyone points out that this whole thread is a lie, well, then, hmmmmmm…….. change the subject.

#5 Obama is a pant load.

I would really like it be explained why, for what purpose, was a fake birth certificate used?

      Explain that one.

If Obama was white and Republican the MSM would be all over this gaffe-king.

I thought he was a Harvard educated scholar? Hell, he acts like he never strung a sentence together or read a book. We might want to check to see if his sheep skin is legit as well.

You want to compare Obama’s gaffe’s to McCain? OK, are you telling me that master Obama has the memory of someone McCain’s age?

    7. Scared Monkeys on July 21st, 2008 9:14 pm

So if its 8 to 10 years Obama … does that mean that GWB has another 2 years to serve and the election is not until 2010?

    8. diogenes on July 21st, 2008 10:06 pm

      Excuse me for a moment:

Is this thread entitled “Gaffe Alert: Barack Obama Expects to be President for Next 8-10 Years … So Much for the 22nd Amendment” ? [Yes]

      Did Obama say that? [No]

So, it’s a lie to begin with, and when it’s pointed out to you, all you do is whine and change the topic, away from the lie.

Wouldm’t cut it in a high school sophomore debate class.

      End of discussion.

    9. Murph on July 22nd, 2008 5:20 am

So, Obama does not know how many years the President has in office and does not know how many states we have either. Does this not concern anyone?

    10. brie. on July 22nd, 2008 5:32 am

Obama is not the President and should not be discussing or negotiating anything with foreign leaders or meddling where he doesn’t belong….he has crossed the line….

    11. diogenes on July 22nd, 2008 10:35 am

So McCain shouldn’t have met with foreign leaders, either? No Senators should do this? No Congressmen?

We get it that some Americans don’t like Obama, and some don’t like McCain. That does not mean that each and every action of these individuals is automatically “right” or automatically “wrong” due to the identity of the actor.

Still waiting on that ackinowledgment that the whole premise of this thread is a falsehood. Obama never said that he’d be President for 8 to 10 years

    12. steven wood on July 23rd, 2008 8:53 pm

four years good four years, bad then marshall law be declared then add two and you got ten..answer this riddle……..answer= obama’s presidency

    13. Ken on July 25th, 2008 8:13 am

Please chek your facts: Obama WILL be dealing with foriegn leaders for the next 10 years because HE’S ON THE SENATE FORIEGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE!

He didn’t say he’d be PRESIDENT in 10 years he said he’d be DEALING with them. Get your facts straight.

So, here’s A QUESTION: Do you lie because want McCain to win? Or do you want McCain because you believed the lies? Look in the mirror and ask yourself!
