Obama Says that New Yorker Satire Mag Cover Insults Muslim Americans … Obama, Ya Mean like How You Have Insulted Muslims?

Obama shows once again that he is too much of a novice and thin skinned to be Commander and Chief.

Barack Obama is still whining about the New Yorker magazine cover depicting him as a Muslim terrorist and his white Michelle as a militant in the Oval Office while a flag is burning in the fire place. Obama says New Yorker insulted Muslim Americans

Democrat Barack Obama said Tuesday that the New Yorker magazine’s satirical cover depicting him and his wife as flag-burning, fist-bumping radicals doesn’t bother him but that it was an insult to Muslim Americans.

“You know, there are wonderful Muslim Americans all across the country who are doing wonderful things,” the presidential candidate told CNN’s Larry King. “And for this to be used as sort of an insult, or to raise suspicions about me, I think is unfortunate. And it’s not what America’s all about.”

No Barack … Making two Muslim women take off their head scarves to be in the back ground at an Obama campaign and in pictures is insulting to American Muslims. Your campaigns “tighly wrapped message” excluding Muslims to get away from the stigma candidate Barack Hussein Obama insults American Muslims.

Red State brings up a great point that Obama’s comments regarding the New Yorker cover and his insistence that he is not Muslim may actually be even more insulting to Muslims that the cover. What’s more insulting that completely distancing yourself from a group of people because you never wanted to be associated with being one of them? Hmm?

At least now he’s saying nice things about Muslims, while he’s of course also making it crystal clear that he isn’t one at all, no how, no way.

Obama, GET OVER IT!!! Could any one be any more thin skinned? Obama has tried to state in the past that Republicans would use “race” during the election. Obama … no one is worried about the color of your skin, we are worried of its thickness. If George W. Bush spent the time that you and your campaign have on this one incident for ever time a political cartoonist, late night talk shows, SNL or Comedy Central have taken shots at him, Bush would never have time to do anything but make comments against them. Forget about it and move on.

When first asked about it on Sunday, Obama declined comment. His spokesman, Bill Burton, said it was “tasteless and offensive.”

Obama said he’s developed “a pretty thick skin” running for president and has “seen and heard worse.”

Those women had every right to wear their scarves except when Obama is involved…that was cruel..I would of told him to shove it….don’t do anything to expose me for what I am….he offends everyone…and lies about who he is and what he is…why not attack him for your civil rights because he took them away…!!!! He’s horrible!!!!

But then again it might of been a staged event to say I am not a Muslim….which of course, we know you are…no trust here!!!

Thin-skinned…what skin, there is hardly any…if he goes to the gym I think he is in the wrong program for anyone to build up their body….

Is it only me or are any of you sick of the name-branding of Americans? People who happen to be black and live here get to be “African Americans”. Now we have “MUSLEM-Americans”. Hell, what am I? How come anyone who is simply an American is lesser in some way? Don’t think so? Try to get a college grant if you don’t have the “pre” label on America. If you are Mexican-American, disabled-American, anyothercountry-American, anyotherracethanwhite-American…if you are able to apply one of those labels to yourself you can get about any community college to pay your way.

BUT..if you are a WORKING-America…you can forget anything other than your hard earned money going off to pay for those mentioned in paragraph one.. you know…they deserve a good life on someone else’s living, right?

IMHO, if you live here you are one of these and NOTHING more:

      1. A legal American Citizen

      2. An illegal alien

      3 A legal alien

      4. Someone who wishes to be something else first besides an American.

Hey, least the American Indians have it right! They do put AMERICA first when describing themselves.

Oh yeah, and by the way, Obama insults ME by calling himself an African-American when he was born here. What a liar! Why does he ignore MY race (white) and pretend it isn’t a part of him? Doesn’t one have to be BORN elsewhere to be labelled as one who came here and became American later? I wish to know why he COMPLETELY abandonded and tries to hide his WHITE heritage. Besides his baby-daddy was born in Africa..not Obama (maybe he missed that day in geography class..you know…Africa and America ain’t the same continent!)

also, is there a single picture of Obamanation out there where he doesn’t have a pompus look on his face and nose in the air?

This guy is at least as bad as Carter. Lord have mercy!

i’ve heard worse come from his own mouth. remembering the racist comments he made about his own mother !

Obama calls out the New Yorker for their cover about him but where was he when the New Yorker and others was disparaging Bush and other white men? But face it, Obama’s hypocritical and snobbish ways are not the most scary thing about him – his proposed waffling policies are what’s really scary. His demeaning attitude toward America is scary.

I saw a cartoon parody where McCain and Obama hug at the end, get ready for Obama to distance himself from gays! Oh yeah, he was riding a purple unicorn too so children are banned from pictures with Obama next. So insulting to gays and children.

I’m just tired of everyone thinking they have a right to silence someone who says something that offends them, often by protesting and getting someone fired. I’m tired of people saying if you don’t want illegals in this country, you’re a racist. If you don’t like Obama, it’s because he’s black. And I don’t like black leaders who tell blacks to have a “victim” mentality. There’s no question that racism exists in the world, not just America, but the problems will only be solved if both sides are making the effort. Sitting back and blaming someone else, even if justified, won’t solve anything; it will foster hate.

As for Jesse and Barack, I wouldn’t expect them to agree on everything. Dick Durbin and Nancy Pelosi don’t agree on everything. But it IS good to see some of those who are so quick to criticize others, usually whites, get caught with their proverbial pants down. Like the tapes of Wright and Pfleger, the Jackson tapes show us the critics aren’t above it all.

I think there is too much ugly baggage associated with a black president at this time. When the culture matures and lets go of the past, then run again, Obama.

    14. brie. on July 19th, 2008 12:57 am

Black Muslim Racist running for President of the United States…a man that voted for not wanting to fund our troops… we are fighting to defend our country and you won’t even salute our flag…our troops are losing their lives everyday to defend and protect this country…….

Obama has absolutely no experience in foreign policy…..nor does he care!!!!He has his terrorists friends that he supports!!!

    15. shahenshahnawab on February 6th, 2009 11:02 am

I find most of the comments here are either stncking racist or communal.dear friends it is a very very old saying that blood is thicker than water so what is wrong if Obama although adopted his mother’s religion have a soft corner towards his father religion.
