More Obama Support from the Pulpit … Rev. Michael Pfleger Mocks Hillary’s “White Entitlement”

What is wrong with these preachers who support Barack Obama? First Reverend Wright and now Rev. Michael Pfleger. This is truly disgraceful. Do any of these so-called pastors, preachers or reverends that support Obama ever actually talk about Jesus or God?

Watch the video HERE

Obama distances himself from another clergyman

At this rate Obama may run out of clergy by November’s election. As the Gateway Pundit states, why does Obama’s church continue to rail against “whitey”?

“She just always thought that, ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m white.’ … And then, out of nowhere, came ‘Hey, I’m Barack Obama.” And she said, ‘Oh damn, where did you come from? I’m white. I’m entitled. There’s a black man stealing my show,’” Pfleger said at Trinity United Church of Christ.

He then went on to parody Clinton, sobbing and wiping his face with a handkerchief.

“She wasn’t the only one crying,” he said. “There was a whole lot of white people crying.”

Scrutiny of Obama’s Congregation Could Set Tone for Future Elections

Obama’s painful new headache

The Rev. Michael Pfleger’s “I’m white! I’m entitled … black man stealing my show” outburst about Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton from the pulpit of the Obama family church, Trinity United Church of Christ, created a political problem for likely Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama that won’t disappear.

Rev. Michael Pfleger. he should drop the Rev or Father title. He speaks of racism. The Catholic church needs to do something with him. He is a disgrace. Whatever happended to clergy taking about God? Shame Shame Shame. I know alot of Pfleger’s antics. He harrasses gun shops and head shops, rather than to go to the source, the very people who use drugs and guns. Bu confronting the users of drugs and guns won’t get his mug on the camera.

personally I don’t care if they rail against ‘whitey’… they’re nothing but a big bunch of bigots at that church anyway.

I do care if reparations are part of Obama’s hidden agenda – cause you know anyone that lies as much as he does has a hidden agenda. And I’m not paying reparations for something I didn’t do and my family didn’t even get to the US until the 1870′s from Russia.

Reparations will start a race war, in my opinion.

he’ll end up the ulitmate divider should he get elected.

Any message that is preach from the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ will reflect the ideology of James Cone author of “Black Power & Black Theology”. Cone’s racist, anti-American, Marxist writings form the foundation of the ministry at TUCC.

However … it must be remembered that Barack Obama was a naive pawn regarding the ideology that formed the foundation of the ministry at TUCC throughout his twenty years relationship with Jeremiah Wright … his Pastor/ mentor/ friend. (Sarcasm)

Black Theology & Black Power (Paperback)
First published in 1969, “Black Theology & Black Power” provided the first systematic presentation of black theology. Relating the militant struggle for liberation with the gospel message of salvation, James Cone laid the foundation for an original interpretation of Christianity that retains its urgency and challenge today.

The Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology
      April 2, 2008

While Black Liberation Theology is not main stream in most black churches, many pastors in Wright’s generation are burdened by (James) Cone’s categories which laid the foundation for many to embrace Marxism and a distorted self-image of the perpetual “victim.”

… In FOR MY PEOPLE, Cone explains that “the Christian faith does not possess in its nature the means for analyzing the structure of capitalism. Marxism as a tool of social analysis can disclose the gap between appearance and reality, and thereby help Christians to see how things really are.”

QUOTES: BLACK POWER & BLACK THEOLOGY

“Christ is black therefore not because of some cultural or psychological need of black people, but because and only because Christ really enters into our world where the poor were despised and the black are, disclosing that he is with them enduring humiliation and pain and transforming oppressed slaves into liberating servants.” James Cone

“Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.” James Cone

“In the New Testament, Jesus is not for all, but for the oppressed, the poor and unwanted of society, and against oppressors … Either God is for black people in their fight for liberation and against the white oppressors, or he is not.” James Cone

Janet, it was Marx or Lenin that called the left in this country “useful idiots”… that alone tells you all you need to know about liberals. Even the Soviets saw their importance in breaking down everything good in this country.

I recently saw a few of the tenants of Marxism in conjunction with what is going on today.

In one area it said to make the worst art (piss Jesus and such) and call it ART. To make the worst music and call it brilliant. So, whatever art (and I am using that term loosely here) form was the true intention was to make it as bad as humanly possible and to turn around and praise the artist / author as some sort of visionary or brilliant thinker that should be placed on a pedestal.

In a sense to break down societies norm and replace it with communism.

Interesting that you won’t find such “works of art” in the old Soviet museums.

Now I am reminded of that Dutch “artist” that made the ridiculous crap where he laid on a table in his underwear and said it was a reference to Natalee. It proves the point that we are dealing with Marxists, Socialists, and Communists here.

      Everything the Holloways are not.

interesting Janet, and I do agree.

it’s all about his hidden agenda here. How that agenda is achieved would be for the future to reveal. In a small area of disagreement with you – I don’t believe the true conservatives would allow his plan for a Marxist society to actually happen. Every war fought, every life lost and every sacrifice made would all be in vain – I can’t see that happening.

It’s hard for me to believe that a true Marxist could be elected, but more than half the country has already been conditioned to accept this notion.

Obama would literally be dodging “sniper fire” everywhere he went. LOL

    7. caesu on May 30th, 2008 2:48 pm

Obama said he was “deeply disappointed” by Pfleger’s comments.

“As I have traveled this country, I’ve been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us,” he said in a statement. “That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger’s divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn’t reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause.”

at this rate the GOP very soon won’t have reverends left to attack obama with.

but i am sure they’ve got more ridiculous mud to sling.

but at one point this mud is going to fly in their own faces.

      EVERYONE READ THIS!!!!!!

      Bill Cosby on Rev. Wright
      Article from Wall Street Journal:

“Rev.Wright epitomizes the thoughts and actions that have prevented and continue to prevent black America from moving ahead and achieving their potential as a people. He suggests that this United States of America made up of sons and daughters of immigrants (I’m talking of the millions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants in this country) of every race, creed, color and religion each and everyone of them who had nothing to do with slavery, some how owe something to a group of people who have never been slaves? Its amazing. It seems everyone is to blame for the shambles black society is in with its violence, drugs, high school drop out rates, misogyny, and a host of other real and virulent problems, except for the very people who engage in such behavior.
Enough. As a society, culture or people, they should look within themselves and fix their problems.
When did this man become the spokesman for the ‘black church’? And of course his church is different, but that doesn’t mean his message and philosophy is acceptable, or productive or non-offensive or not-racist or indicative or our greater cultural behaviors, values and norms Americans.
And yes, the link between this man and Obama really does matter. At a very minimum, it provides insight into the political and philosophical strain that Obama adheres to.”

BARACK OBAMA’S EXTREME LEFT WING CONNECTIONS

      Thursday, February 14, 2008
Change Obama can believe in: Socialism?
      By Cliff Kincaid

Campaign workers for Senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama are under fire for displaying a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara.

But Obama has his own controversial connections. He is, in fact, an associate of a Chicago-based socialist group with ties to the Socialist International, access to millions of labor union dollars and connections to expert political consultants, including a convicted swindler.

Obama’s socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the “champions” of “Chicago’s democratic left” and a long-time socialist activist. Obama’s stint as a “community organizer” in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

      DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA (DSA)
      The Organization

We are socialists because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.

We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane international social order based both on democratic planning and market mechanisms to achieve equitable distribution of resources, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equality, and non-oppressive relationships.

During recent interviews of Obama campaign workers on Houston’s Fox TV station, the offices of two Texas Obama campaign volunteers (including a precinct captain and head of the “Houston Obama Leadership Team”) were found prominently decorated with Che Guevara images, against the backdrop of Cuban flags.

Two days after the Fox TV airing the Obama campaign finally went on record and in a terse statement described the Houston office posters as “inappropriate.”

“The U.S. is the great enemy of mankind!” raved Ernesto “Che” Guevara in 1961. “Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination. We will bring the war to the imperialist enemies’ very home, to his places of work and recreation. The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we’ll destroy him! We must keep our hatred against them [the U.S.] alive and fan it to paroxysms!”

Another serious mistake by McCain on Iraq:
“I can tell you that it is succeeding. I can look you in the eye and tell you it’s succeeding. We have drawn down to pre-surge levels. Basra, Mosul and now Sadr City are quiet and it’s long and it’s hard and it’s tough and there will be setbacks.”

Troop level in Iraq is at about 155,000 right now, well above the 130,000 that would mark a return to pre-surge levels.

Serious possibilty that John McCain is suffering from significant cognitive problems, possibly pre-Alzheimer’s or some other type of neurological problem that impacts memory and other cognitive ability.

This is HOW MANY times that he has repeatedly gotten basic facts about the war and the war on terror wrong, things in which he purports to be an expert?

I am truly concerned for the man. He is in no shape to lead the nation on these issues, much less “educate” Barack Obama about anything in Iraq.

Either John McCain doesn’t know the facts on the ground in Iraq or he is intentionally misleading the public.

Obama Dogged By Praise From America’s Foes
      by FOXNews.com
      Wednesday, May 28, 2008

In a presidential race in which unwanted, damaging endorsements seem far more plentiful than endorsements that actually could help, Barack Obama has had the unfortunate distinction of being a magnet for such well-wishers.

The latest unsought praise for the Democratic front-runner came from Fidel Castro, who wrote in a column for Cuba’s Granma newspaper Monday that Obama is “the most progressive candidate to the U.S. presidency.”

… In mid-April, Hamas adviser Ahmed Yousef told WorldNetDaily that “We like Mr. Obama, and we hope that he will win the elections.

… Also in March, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Spain’s El Pais newspaper he didn’t believe Obama would be elected, but that he wouldn’t have a problem meeting with him if he were.

… Obama also has struggled to shake off positive words from the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

      BARACK OBAMA/BILL ARYES ASSOCIATION

      April 16, 2008
      The Pennsylvania Democratic Debate

MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: … I want to give Senator Clinton a chance to respond, but first a follow-up on this issue, the general theme of patriotism in your relationships. A gentleman named William Ayers, he was part of the Weather Underground in the 1970s. They bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol and other buildings. He’s never apologized for that. And in fact, on 9/11 he was quoted in The New York Times saying, “I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough.”

An early organizing meeting for your state senate campaign was held at his house, and your campaign has said you are friendly. Can you explain that relationship for the voters, and explain to Democrats why it won’t be a problem?

SEN. OBAMA: … This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who’s a professor of English in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He’s not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.

SEN. CLINTON: Well, I think that is a fair general statement, but I also believe that Senator Obama served on a board with Mr. Ayers for a period of time, the Woods Foundation, which was a paid directorship position.

And if I’m not mistaken, that relationship with Mr. Ayers on this board continued after 9/11 and after his reported comments, which were deeply hurtful to people in New York, and I would hope to every American, because they were published on 9/11 and he said that he was just sorry they hadn’t done more. And what they did was set bombs and in some instances people died.

Why is Obama Hiding the Truth About William Ayers? Follow the Money
      April 26, 2008 at 6:33 PM

In 1995, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge was created to raise funds to help reform the Chicago public schools. One of the architects of the Challenge was none other than Professor Bill Ayers. Ayers co-wrote the initial grant proposal and proudly lists himself on his own website as the co-founder of the Challenge.

Barack Obama was the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. This appointment came at a crucial time in Barack’s life. He was on the verge of challenging longtime state Senator Alice Palmer for her job. When Barack decided to run, it is no surprise that he turned to William Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn for help in organizing the campaign and in hosting his first fundraiser in the district.

Obama served on the board for eight years until the Challenge ended in 2003. Bill Ayers was intimately involved in the Challenge over this same time period.

The Audacity of Barack Obama and Rev. Wright
      By Michael J. Gaynor
      MichNews.com
      Mar 17, 2008

In Senator Obama’s first book, titled Dreams of My Father and published in 1995 (after he had been elected president of the Harvard Law Review but before he had been elected to public office), Senator Obama wrote at length about Rev. Wright and his moving “Audacity of Hope” speech.

In Dreams, Senator Obama explained how he met Rev. Wright, whom he mentioned had been “dabbling with liquor, Islam, and black nationalism in the sixties.”

He acknowledged that Rev. Wright immediately had given him fair warning that he was controversial, by quoting Rev. Wright as having said: “Some of my fellow clergy don’t appreciate what we’re about. They feel like we’re too radical. Others, we aren’t radical enough. Too emotional. Not emotional enough.”

He also acknowledged that Rev. Wright let him know at their first meeting that he looked unfavorably on America and expected to continue to do so, by stating, “Life’s not safe for a black man in this country, Barack. Never has been. Probably never will be.”

Senator Obama left with one of Rev. Wright’s “Black Value System” brochures.

When Senator Barack listened to Rev. Wright’s “Audacity of Hope” sermon, September 11, 2001 was years away, but, Senator Obama admitted in Dreams, Rev. Wright castigated America.

Senator Obama put it this way: “Reverend Wright spoke of Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House. As the sermon unfolded…the stories of strife became more prosaic, the pain more immediate….”

So it’s hard to believe that Senator Obama was not familiar until very recently with Rev. Wright’s position on the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

However … it only happened earlier this year when these associates were exposed … earlier this year when Obama was well into his campaign for the nominee of the Democratic Party … a position that would place him in the running for the President of the United States of American. caesu … Jeremiah Wright held the position of “Spritual Adviser” up until January, 2008.

Think about it … if Barack Obama did not have a clue regarding the racist, anti-American, Marxist ideology of all his connections over the past twenty years … I would consider this lack of insight/ judgement an indication that he does not have what it takes to be the chief commander of one of the greatest democracies on the face of the earth.

Considering the stakes … disassociation with all his radical connections was given but … I doubt it was sincere.

i think these reverend stories are pretty much miked dry now.

if one more crazy reverend appears to support obama or mccain.

then either one can respond with a quick joke and move on to the real issues people are worried about.

sitting for 20 years in a church and having him as a spirtual leader doesn’t mean that he agrees with every single word that comes from that pulpit.

if you read his book in context, not just the misquotes out of context, you would understand that better.

      he denounced wright
and his speeches and books (in context!) don’t reflect what wright says at all.

i think most people including his rivals for the presidency have finally moved on now.

      - Obama is attracting the fringe extremists who believe and cheer Pfleger or wrap themselves in Che Guevera flags.
      - Obama was, for many years, a member of a church where people recently cheered the outrageous and racist remarks made by Pfleger.
      - Obama has, for many years, been close to people who preach hate and anger and tell people they’re victims of white people.
      - Obama is a good politician. He tells us this himself. He knows how to spin things and is walking a fine line so as not to offend those extremists who want the “white man to pay”, while not alienating moderate democrats.
      - Obama is not what he appears to be is the only conclusion I can come to. There’s more under the surface–for better or worse.
      - I cannot vote for someone who is hiding his real feelings behind first rate political banter simply to get elected to the most powerful position in the world today. I don’t know what his real feelings are because what he says and what those closest to him advocate are totally different.

      Obama’s Abortion Extremism
      Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Obama has not made abortion rights the shouted refrain of his campaign, as other Democrats have done. He seems to realize that pro-choice enthusiasm is inconsistent with a reputation for post-partisanship.

But Obama’s record on abortion is extreme. He opposed the ban on partial-birth abortion — a practice a fellow Democrat, the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan, once called “too close to infanticide.” Obama strongly criticized the Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth ban.

Rev. Michael Pfleger is just another Jeremiah “Wrong” wannabe. Pfleger’s only “entitlement” will be a free trip to the nearest INSANE ASYLUM for making a disgusting spectacle of himself and acting like a “mad man”!!

Pfleger was not as entertaining as those who have came before him, but his commits were just as racists. It was funny watching him jerk around like a chicken with his head cut off while preaching his message of hate at the pulpit. Pfleger must have forgotten that “white men can’t jump”…LOL!

    36. LilPuma on May 31st, 2008 10:19 am

      35. Susan. I don’t much care what Pfleger says, but he was on Obama’s campaign staff until recently. Also, the church community of which Obama has been a part for more than 20 years gave him a standing ovation. Makes a reasonable person think Obama has more beliefs in common with Wright, Pfleger and the cheering throngs than he wants us to believe.

What is scary LilPuma … TUCC is not the only Black church where thousands listen to a message from the pulpit … a message that adheres to the writings of racist, anti-American, Marxist James Cone.

The congregation of one an affilliated churches gave a standing ovation to the dictator Hugo Chevez on the same day this dictator called the President of the United States a devil at the UN. Chevez even mocked President Bush throughout his message at this church where he was invited as a guest speaker.

I do not care what the members of that congregation thought about the policies of the Bush administration. George Bush was the democratically elected President of the United States … their president and … the democratic process need to be shown respect.

Hey … I would not tolerate anyone outside of the family calling my grandson a brat even if he was being a brat. In other words … if somebody outside of the family has concerns … it is not what he/she says … it is how he/she says it. Respect is where it is at.

Obama: ‘I’m a Pretty Darned Good Politician’

No doubt about it. Ironically, some of his supporters in Chicago, including Rev. Wright, have said that he’s gotta say what he’s gotta say to get elected. The same people who criticize white candidates for doing so. I don’t like that they all do this. It’s not OK for one and not the others.

Fact remains that he’s spent his adult life in the company of people who think, talk and cheer the words of Rev. Wright, Pfleger, and Black Liberation theology. If that wasn’t bad enough, he’s too far left for me. I’m a little left of the middle, but I do not think that more taxes and more social programs are the answer to everything. As Pfleger told Obama’s fellow parishoners, they believe that whites owe it to them.

If the political winds turn ugly, I’ll stand with the Muslims. Those were Obama’s words. Published.

Obama Resigns Church Membership in Chicago
      by FOXNews.com
      Saturday, May 31, 2008

Obama said Saturday that he made the decision with “some sadness,” but that he had been discussing it with his family for “quite some time” and that he did not want to be a continuing burden on the congregation …

Obama said he was deeply disappointed by the remarks and Pfleger apologized, but Clinton’s campaign still demanded Obama specifically reject the latest remarks.

“If the political winds turn ugly, I’ll stand with the Muslims. Those were Obama’s words. Published.”

too lazy to read this in context?

this is a FAKE quote OUT of context.

but this any many more other quotes go round for months now in hateful racist viral e-mails and get posted on blogs all over.

and it confirms lazy people’s prejudices so they gladly take it for the truth.
they seems to prefer to be misinformed and ignorant.

Fake quote: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’ – claimed to be from “The Audacity of Hope”

Actual quote: “Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” (page 261).

if someone requires further context on this last, actual quote, heaven help them

    44. Susan on June 1st, 2008 9:18 am

#36 – LilPuma, I agree. Obama has another coming if he is stupid enough to believe that most of America (and the world) can’t see right through him. He has shown us just how desperate he really is to win the nomination by FINALLY removing himself from Jeremiah “WRONG” and Trinity. To see the masses at Trinity cheer these racists on speaks volumes…

Well yo-yo, the “proof of the pudding”, as they say………I’m a New Yorker, who was just minutes away when the Towers were attacked, I saw in “realtime” what happened. We were attacked….civilians, without cause attacked, murdered, an act totally against the Geneva Convention…..a pact that ceases to be of value….we are not dealing with a civilzation, civilized people. We are dealing with gangsters, devoid of morality, murderers…..

Can we sit down and “talk” to these amoral indiduals, probably, will it prove anything, solve anything, stop them from their determination to turn the world into one under Islam, not on your life. Unfortunately, when you are dealing with gangsters, you have to fight them without rules…they have none, they abide by no Convention or War Morality….You, we, unfortunately must “fight fire with fire”.

And the “proof of the pudding”, since our soldiers took up arms against them, we have not suffered attack in almost seven years.

One thing I would’ve done differently. I would never have put “boots on the ground” I would’ve continued with the smart bombs, Daisy-Cutters,etc. We have the weapons to stop them, we need to use them!!!!

    46. LilPuma on June 1st, 2008 12:42 pm

      43. Caesu. I read it in context and what doesn’t change is that Obama is taking a soft stance against those who want to kill us and bomb Israel. The U.S. government is NOT going to do to Muslims in America what they did to the Japanese in America during WWII. I don’t hate or suspect all Muslims of the extremists views of terrorists, but I’m still waiting for those who don’t support or condone those extreme views and actions to speak out against it. Far too few do. They didn’t all cheer in the streets, they don’t all agree with or like the actions of a few, but they stay quiet on the subject. I would never condone violence against innocent Muslims in this country. I would stand with them against harrassment or vigilantes. But I will not stand with them against my country as we try to keep Americans safe from the terrorists and those who harbor them. Obama says “political” winds, not threats or actual violence against the innocent. You post on Holloway — have you criticized innocent Arubans for not speaking out against the corruption? Do you not agree with those who do?
Many black preachers spoke out against Rev. Wright’s assertion that this is the U.S. against black churches; I only wish there were Muslim leaders doing the same.

The FBI and Homeland Security know who the danerous Middle Eastern people living here are. Once my daughter and her then boyfriend, now husband spent a Spring afternoon taking pics of the Brooklyn Bridge and other interesting buildings to photograph, ( it happens to be his hobby). They never noticed, but they were being followed by FBI. The next day his mother, who has lived in New Jersey for 30 got a visit. She was asked if she knew the person with a license plate…(my now son in law’s). She told them it was her son’s.
The point being, his family was well known, but running around NYC snapping pics, they did not know if he was a terrorist. Racial profiling is a must!!! He wasn’t offended, his safety is at stake the same as ours.
caesu, I don’t know where you live, so maybe you safety is not at stake and you can expound on Obama all you want……but as an American I am offended by many of your remarks. It’s a free country, we do have an Amendment,in the Bill Of Rights, which gives us Free Speech…well it goes for all.

But, oh yeah, if it’s talk for Obama it’s politically correct, if it’s talk against Obama it is racism!!! LOL

even if you did read it in context, by posting fake quotes you can distort the opinion of others through misleading them with this misinformation.
