You are suing because she “hurt you with her words”? How pathetic is that? Seems that these type of ridiculous lawsuits get heard while real crimes go un-noticed and un-prosecuted.

He demands a rectification.

Seems about par for an island that would acccept the word of three local boys, that a female 18 yr old American tourist had gone missing with the three of them and was never heard from again, and they had nothing to do with it… even though none of their stories matched up.

You remember Oduber’s radio speech about how recovering Natalee’s body would be an embarassment for 90,000 people and would mean the end of Aruba’s tourism?
That was on June 10, the day after Joran had confessed and the day Joran was supposed to lead them to the body.
However, after Oduber’s speech, the confession was resended, in fact, had disappeared and someone followed the police to the rocks and filmed the happenings there. This included pictures of police cars and motorcycles blocking the area. The body of a blonde girl being removed from a rock and placed on a bush so the painter, a man in a white suit, could paint over the blood. There are other bodies recovered that day, as well, placed in bags. The camera person focuses in on Natalee after she is bagged up and placed in the water basin.
These films were posted to Scared Monkeys on June 14 by an unknown poster.
When questioned about the commotion at the rocks, ALE reported that a Columbian boy who had been missing for two years was found buried there (Lie) and that it had nothing to do with the Natalee Holloway case. This is the heart, in my opinion, of the cover up. Ordered and directed by Oduber, himself.
Also, there are pictures taken from the air of the Sloot house which includes a furniture truck which, as far as I know, doesn’t move any furniture in or out of their house. I believe that it was through the use of the furniture truck that Natalee was picked-up from the water basin and returned to the Van der Sloots.

These videos are available on the internet for your viewing. However, the work done by Carpe and others have made it possible for us to see who I believe is Natalee. It is my opinion that she was killed in a sacrificial offering to the gods of the Arawak Nation. Taunted for being a virgin and tortured because of her belief in God and applying those principals in her life. She was tortured both physically, mentally and spiritually in what is described as a celebration, dressed in a loin cloth.
It is for this reason that I believe that Oduber had Natalee disappeared, in order to not be held responsible for their pagan beliefs. Certainly, he was right; if the word got out that the Arawak are sacrificing young women and children in a pagan celebration that has been celebrated for centuries, there wouldn’t be anyone who’d want to visit the island.
It is for this reason, I support the boycott. The Arawak will continue thier celebrations until someone makes them stop and all we can do is try to prevent Americans from visiting there, reducing the possibility of this happening again, to one of us. Surely, they are continuing, which can explain why Aruba remains famous for being a human-trafficking center.
Natalee deserves justice and, perhaps, through her justice we can save others.

Okay, so we’re not supposed to blame the victim. But, for there to be a ‘victim,’ shouldn’t there be a crime? Oh, I guess Natalee could’ve fallen victim to bad luck or an accident, but what crime was committed? Is there evidence of rape? Evidence or murder? Evidence of anything?
Sadly, there’s not. That’s why we hear “no body, no crime.” Yes, it’s convenient for a perpetrator, but do keep in mind, in most countries (US excepted, of course), something more substantial than an accusation is required to win a conviction. Something like evidence. A bad alibi is not evidence; a changing alibi is not evidence. Cell phone and pay phone records are evidence. Video tape from security cameras is evidence. The rest is circumstantial and mostly worthless.
I don’t think Joran is particularly clean, but what he’s guilty of, none of us can say (without real EVIDENCE). Perhaps, he’s guilty of failure-to-render-aid? Perhaps something more. But, he’s not free because of corruption or poor investigative work. He’s walking the streets, because the prosecutors couldn’t PROVE he had committed a crime. (Well, other than obstructing justice, lying to the police, etc.) They couldn’t prove he had committed THE crime, because they couldn’t prove that ANY crime had been commited, because of a lack of Evidence!
If those with copious amounts of intellect that can tell Joran is guilty by looking at him (which is a crock of poo), if they would just bend the mighty weight of their “intellects” to finding the body, that would be a greater service. The body would yield evidence; the evidence would answer the question of IF a crime was commited (and the follow up question of WHICH crime).
And so on.
Innocent until proven guilty. Annoying and inconvenient, unless you happen to be the accused. I hope every hateful poster on this site gets the honor of being falsely accused, so they learn to appreciate what the Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law do for us.
One more catty comment: an interesting twist; had this “crime” occurred on US soil, we could only assume that Natalee was on the lam; after all, she could face the statutory rape allegations in some states, because she was 18, and Joran (at the time) was a minor (17).
Get busy, brains! Find her! Find Natalee, and the truth will be known.

Hans Mos, the chief public prosecutor in Aruba, heads up the investigation in the case of the missing American teenager Natalee Holloway. On Thursday 24 January 2008 crime reporter Peter R. DeVries showed him the most significant shots from the undercover camera operation. The lead investigator’s response was upbeat and immediately announced the opening of a new investigation.
Peter R. DeVries: “Yes mister Mos, this seems to me what you and you’re people have been dreaming of the past few years, a confession of Joran, isn’t it?”
Hans Mos: “Yes, when you look at it, and you have shown me some material, this is very impressive, I think, when you see him explaining what really happened that night.”
Peter R. DeVries: “Joran has been hard as nails lieing all these years, if you hear the story”
Hans Mos: “Yes I see elements in this statement, which you can find in earlier statements, but he never gave the correct interpretation and never told the truth to us.”
Peter R. DeVries: “Isn’t it very disturbing if you see how America, Aruba and the Netherlands are under the spell of this case and now he carelessly gives an explanation in the front seat of a car.”
Hans Mos: “ Yes, I think so too, it makes an impression, it’s the first time he’s told it to somebody, it seems. This is his real ‘coming out’ in the case we have to say. You can see how he does it, that’s why it makes an impression. And that’s indeed disturbing, the fact that he was able to say nothing for two years. And what I find even more disturbing: he suggests all kinds of things incriminating other people. People that suffered because of it until this day. We have to work this all out, but if it’s true what he says, it’s indeed disturbing.”
Peter R. DeVries: “What stands out for me in this: the fact that it is a young man, not touched emotionally by this case. He talks about it thoughtlessly and with little respect to Natalee”
Hans Mos: “Yes, that was… I have also watched your program with Joran and his parents, where they spoke about the way he was raised and the way he treats girls. We know from the police report that that was different. It surprises me that it has been said like this. Anyone could have known that it was different and what his intentions usually were in the weekends when he went out with those kinds of girls, mainly American tourists. The way he talks about it shows very little respect and I find that quite shocking actually.”
Peter R. DeVries: “When Joran was released recently, it has been said: he is not a suspect anymore and the investigation of him has been closed. This will re-open the investigation again, I presume?”
Hans Mos: “Yes, this gives us reason to take a closer look at this case again. Look, we have to verify a number of things. Because, that is the miserable thing about this boy, he writes… I can remember vividly the headlines of De Telegraaf [a Dutch newspaper] a year ago: “I am still lying”. Look, we find in his statements now a number of key-points which can be confirmed in the police report, but we have to be sure now. That prompts a new investigation and we will do that.”
Peter R. DeVries: “But if he has lied about this, than he maybe cleared for Natalee case, but he should be locked up for being crazy. Don’t you think?”
Hans Mos: “It seems very unlikely to me that in such a conversation, set apart from the question how to value a ‘front seat’ or ‘back seat confession’… Anyway it’s a very convincing story, also because of the way how it came together, but we have to verify some things and we have to research this. If he is lying here then he hangs himself in an incredibly stupid way and that I do not believe, because he is an intelligent boy. And we’ve already experienced that.”
Peter R. DeVries: “Are you happy with this?”
Hans Mos: “On one side yes. On the other side it’s also perplexing to see what has happened and that causes some confusion. You’re being confronted with that fact. One is happy because it seems the case has been solved. That’s something we’ve been working on for two and a half years in which time we could never actually reveal the truth. People have asked sometimes: ‘Why can’t you complete this case?’ Because we lacked forensic evidence, we didn’t have the body, there were no witnesses. One has to depend in large part on the parties involved in this situation. Of these parties he was the most important and if he keeps his mouth shut or doesn’t tell the truth, it is extremely difficult for us. Now at least the truth is surfacing and with that we can at least wrap up the case.”

We heard no body, no case the day after Natalee went missing, because that’s what Paulus told the 3 suspects. Why was she called a body and they weren’t even suspects? They had already framed 2 black security guards and let them be held for kidnapping and murder. None of them went to look for her.

I think you were asking if anyone had ever heard that Joran drowned a kid at one time. I’ve searched high and low, but I can’t find anything that mentions this. I do know that bullies love to scare people by holding them under water.
When my son was about 12, I would take him to the country club swimming pool. I never would leave him alone, because the lifeguards were always playing grab-ass with each other and not watching the kids (crude, I know; but it is the best and most accurately descriptive colloquialism I could come up with.) I watched a kid torture smaller kids and hold them under the water. He had them horrified. One kid, he held under so long, I was just about to intervene when the bully let go of him. He had swallowed a little water, and had to cough for 2 or 3 minutes to get his breath. I told the kid (who I didn’t even know at the time) I was going to call his mother. He gave me all kinds of “mister you’re so inappropriate looks” and then left.
After the deal at the pool, I started seeing this kid everywhere. Everywhere I went, there he was. We even went to the same church.
Our church had a big room where the kids would meet, and one Sunday before church, I was in the room sorting papers for Sunday School. My son was playing pool, by himself. All at once, this kid I’ve been talking about entered the room (he never saw me). He approached my son from behind, and grabs him by the throat and begins chocking. This was about 3 years after the swimming pool episode, and my son was getting fairly big and strong. My son grabbed the kid’s hands and turned and twisted them. I could hear the joints popping, and the kid fell to the floor in pain. I walked out of the corner and told my son to come with me. We just left the kid there crying. (There wasn’t any long lasting damage. Nothing an ice pack didn’t fix.)
From the beginning, when I think of Joran, I think of this boy. He had an obsession with putting his hands on people’s throats and holding them under water.
I had a fear for what this boy might do to someone in the future; but at a young age, he was hit and killed by a drunk driver. It was very sad. His mother was deeply hurt, and has never recovered.
