Priceless Video … Hillary Clinton vs. The Dreaded Coffee Maker

Whether one is a Hillary Clinton supporter or not, this is just too damn funny.

First we had Godzilla vs. Megalon, then King Kong vs. Godzilla. Now were are presented with the next epic battle … Hillary vs. The Coffee Maker.

I have finally come to realize what is wrong with politicians in today’s society. THEY ARE NOT REAL!!!

Because they are career politicians they do not know how to do anything that would be a normal function of the very people that they represent. The video above of Hillary is just an example. Do you think they know how to use an ATM? Turn on a dish washer and laundry machine? This is why politicians look so stupid when they attempt to do photo-ops eating a Philly Cheese steak or carrying a gun when they have never done it in their life.

What a sad commentary on today’s politics that we cannot have “normal” everyday people run for office. I hardly think that career politicians is what our Founding Fathers had in mind.

Here’s a challenge, come up with other every day things that a politician would be clueless about.

Hahahah- this is why I LOVE THIS WEBSITE.

I am laughing my butt off at this posting.

SM says…. I have finally come to realize what is wrong with politicians in today’s society. THEY ARE NOT REAL!!!

I agree. Do you think George Bush could have figured out the coffee maker either?? I doubt it. But Laura Bush could have assisted him, I really do like her. She is a quality woman who I think is/was a lovely First Lady. At least he had the common sense to marry the right woman…he lucked out there ! In fact, I would say it is one of the smartest things “Dubya” ever did was fall in love with the right lady and some how manage to get her to say yes to his marriage proposal.

Remember John Kerry ordering & eating a cheese staek in 2004? OMG Priceless.

I sobbed when I heard Kerry was not running in 2008, I have so many great pics of him.

I remember Richard Nixon saying he had never been in a K-Mart and marveling at all the stuff when he had his limo one day stopped at one and he went in.

I laughed and laughed and laughed. It usually takes a cuppa strong Tim Horton’s coffee to wake me up this Canadian up …

Hey … when I clicked the link on the FP … the message was that the video was no longer available. If other are getting the same message … the following link which I found through googling works … at least for now.

I recognize that coffeemaker. I had to get help at a car dealership the other day on one of these. You have to put some little foil envelope in a slot, then close it firmly and punch in a command. It makes yuppie coffee. I’ll bet Dubya and Laura would be clueless as well on one of these, but the Bush girls would have no problem. Is it my imagination, or is O’Reilly warming up to Hillary as a lesser evil than Deacon Obama ?

Great topic. Something I got an eye full of in my late 30′s, when a speaker of the house (he slept through meetings regularly) was on a same corp board with me, of which I was the inventor for the corp. A coupl e of other state politicians were on the board also.

Sounds trivial, but a thing I have often told my personal friends is, “it seems the type that go to that level of political office cannot ride in a pickup truck”. SO I will try to explain. Yours truely is arrogant, or sure of his capabilties, writes too long for icky reading, but I assure you in person does not take self very seriously. Criticizing myself to a fault most do say. Though on point, the political sort, the personality we seem to raise that high are totally the opposite. Self selling machines…ideas, time spent on an idea, strictly to please the immedate audience. Nothing to do with novel thought, or true fairness…it is about precieved fairness and the like. Plus too, the exact instant they feel you are not progressing their self, the old charm they have been spending on you goes stone cold, returning only if you become useable again.

So, “they cannot ride in a pickup truck”. The owner of the truck would toss them out to the bar ditch before reaching the other side of the haul.

How about missing a lens out of your sunglasses and not knowing…it really does happen…I was on a cruise ship and a woman on the sun deck was walking around but she only had one lens in….she got up for one the contests and they made a joke about it…what’s really funny is that she didn’t even know it….but had to laugh along with us….it apparently had been a long night….

Hillary Clinton would do or say anything if it would help her get elected. Surprised she didn’t stay up all night and practice this one first. I remember recently the video of her in Indiana, I think, downing the shot, and drinking beer for the camera. My son is financial secretary for UAW and campaigns for Hillary to win. He’s been traveling all over this year mostly south. He knows my opinion of her. Even said once he was buying a t shirt that said My mom’s a republican, but I still love her. lol Seriously in Ohio and Indiana many have lost their jobs(manufacturing) and that is why they are voting for Hillary or Obama.. not that they will actually do anything in the end for them to help. I know the candidates are spending lots of time in Indiana right now.

I too like Laura Bush, she is one classy lady, I was a supporter of her husband, but am no longer. I really dont know anyone to vote for this time. John Kerry ickyyyyyyy.. I love the video of him and Bush on JibJab..that is a classic.. Glad Gore the bore isn’t running either.

We for the most part are a great nation of people, I keep my faith in the people,,that no matter what we all will come together and survive for the common good.

I suppose if Hillary don’t get it, it will be time to start grooming Chelsea.

Brie: hope that wasn’t me. I did have an experience where one of the lens broke out of my glasses (which have the sun protection thing in them where they turn to sun glasses) on a 26 day trip up the Amazon river. I can’t see squat without my glasses and no one one the ship could fix them so I had to walk around for a few days with one lens in and one lens out.

Things full time politicians can’t do:
      write a blog
      open a can
      boil an egg
      operate a microwave
      buy a subway ticket
find the restrooms in a stadium
      park a car
surf the Internet (bet algore can’t either)
      pay the utility bills
      pump gas

      How about tie a shoe?!

I cannot say at this time who I will vote for, but i sure would like to see them all try to tie a 2 year olds shoe…lol

Another thing most politicians could probably not do with ease or familiarity……..

** Navigate the interactive Menu on “TV GUIDE” on television correctly. You know what I mean folks, most cable providers today offer a very complex interactive Menu. I can see them now trying to order a Pay-Per-View Movie or an ON DEMAND sporting event. ******* Ain’t happening.

Be honest- sometimes WE even have problems with it…Once you get the hang of it, no problem but damn—you need advanced computer skills today even get through the Interactive TV Guide Menu or you are lost. I must admit to having an enormus desire of throwing the remote through my TV screen at one point or another because the damn thing locks up and hoses your TV set.

    21. brie. on May 2nd, 2008 3:15 pm

What about the time Bill Clinton kept dozing off in his chair sitting behind the speaker for a tribute to Martin Luther King…or how about Hillary standing at the podium and talking to someone privately when she thought the microphone was off….

    22. brie. on May 2nd, 2008 5:14 pm

Or trying to turn on the TV without the converter box when the time comes…..

For those that maybe aren’t aware, if you do not have a digital TV and need the converter box the gov’t will send you up to 2 coupons, they are worth $40.00 each….the prices range from $40.00 to $70.00 dollars…… you can call 1-888-388-2009….the converter box is necessary for anyone that does not have a digital tuner…you can go to http://www.dtv.gov/consumercorner.html, it is a question and answer site
