Chris Matthews Rips Guest for Historical Ignorance and then Says USS Cole Attack Occurred Under George Bush

Ever wonder what is wrong with the Main stream media? Look no further than MSNBC’s Hard Ball and Chris Matthews as he bashes a guest for not knowing his Neville Chamberlain history and appeasement … “Peace for our time”.

However, as The Newsbusters point out … those that throw stones should not live in glass houses. Or at least work for the MSM where their grasp on historical facts is not among the best either. After ridiculing a Hard Ball guest for ignorance, Chris Mathews then says,  “Wasn’t the USS Cole under Bush? I mean, I don’t know what I’m talking about here.” Ah, no Chris … you scholar you … the attack of the USS Cole took place under Clinton on October 12, 2000.

Funny, we do not see Chris Matthews ripping into and ridiculing Obama for thinking that there were 57 States. But of course, its MSNBC’s duty to carry the water for Barack Obama. The Obama camp and MSM are in an uproar over GWB’s comments in Israel regarding appeasement of terrorists and Hitler as one in the same.

MySpace Mom Lori Drew (Josh Evans) Indicted For Role in online Hoax of Suicide Death of 13 Year Old Megan Meier

It was the internet MySpace hoax that disgusted the world. The result was the suicide of 13 year old Megan Meier. People cried out for justice and initially there was none. Finally, there appears to be JUSTICE FOR MEGAN.

Justice is served in one of the most sick and pathetic cases of cyberbullying on record. Its bad enough when pre-teens and teens do it, but when an adult does it to a teenager … it defies all logic. Let this be a shot across the bow to future cyberbulliers, prosecutors are breaking new legal ground on the internet. If one thinks they can hide behind their key board and do anything, think again. To “keyboard cowards” every where, there will be consequences to threats made and your actions.

49 year old Lori Drew, or should we say her faux online persona Josh Evans, was indicted in her role that led to the suicide of 13 year old Megan Meier. Its about time! It was an internet MySpace hoax that will most likely change the rules as to personal conduct on the web. Lori Drew created a MySpace account and began chatting with Megan Meier under the false identity of a 16 year old boy, Josh Evans. Lori Drew has been charged with one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to get information used to inflict emotional distress on the girl.

She was charged with conspiracy and fraudulently gaining access to someone else’s computer.

Megan hanged herself at home in October 2006, allegedly after receiving a dozen or more cruel messages, including one stating the world would be better off without her.

Salvador Hernandez, assistant agent in charge of the Los Angeles FBI office, called the case heart-rending.

“The Internet is a world unto itself. People must know how far they can go before they must stop. They exploited a young girl’s weaknesses,” Hernandez said. “Whether the defendant could have foreseen the results, she’s responsible for her actions.”

 The Feds acted after state authorities said they had no grounds to prosecute the woman, despite national outrage at her behavior. It sadly appeared at one point that no charges would be filed as Missouri prosecutors could find no crimes to charge Lori Drew with. It was simply criminal.

She set up a MySpace profile for the imaginary boy, complete with a picture of a random handsome youth, and then contacted Megan. “Josh Evans” chatted with Megan for about six weeks. He called her “sexi” and offered to take her out on a date.

Megan’s parents said their daughter, who struggled with her weight, was thrilled by the attention from a “hot” boy.

But then “Josh” turned on Megan. Among the last things Megan saw online on Oct. 16, 2006, were postings saying “Megan Meier is a slut” and “Megan Meier is fat.”

Her parents said the last message from “Josh” said, “Everybody hates you. … The world would be a better place without you.”

Megan hanged herself in her bedroom closet. She was about to turn 14.

Now for the real bad. Fresh off the endorsement of the Breck Girl, John Edwards, comes this rather telling article regarding the material that the Reverend Jeremiah Wright had out to the masses. Some how an uniformed Barack Obama had no idea in 20 years that Wright was “wrong” for America. Eventually, this publication was going to come out to bite Obama on the butt and further expose him for what he really is.

This is a must read regarding Reverend Jeremiah Wright and the Trumpet Newsmagazine. It is a must read for all those that would think that Barack Obama is some how a candidate of change. Hardly. Obama has stated that he never saw a side of Wright that was hateful, racist or un-American. Frankly, that is impossible to believe as Rev. Wright made no effort to hide his feelings or beliefs. One would either have to be in denile or be lying that they did not know. Wright’s views were not just put forth in sermons, but videos and print.

Aruban Tourism … Right From AHATA Rob Smith’s Mouth … “Helpfulness doesn’t mean that you must take up a submissive position”

Welcome to Aruba, One Happy Island … where hospitality and being helpful is looked upon as being submissive. Aruba, how do you really feel about tourists who come to your island? A better question is, tourists … how do you feel spending your hard earned money and being looked upon as a burden? Just when you thought you have heard it all.

Ever wonder what is really wrong with Aruban tourism? If one ever wondered why such a callus attitude was taken following the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and the almost blaming of the victim and her family for the disappearance rather than holding the criminals responsible for the obvious crime that occurred. One needs to take a look at the following to understand. The following comments wins the WTF moment of the week. What a shocker that it comes from Aruba and has to do with tourism.

Why else would Rob Smith say it if it was not an issue by many Arubans.

Aruba, a Caribbean island where 70% of their economy is based off of tourism and the head of tourism is telling the Aruban people that being friendly and nice is not submissive. In other words, its not a bad thing and that they won’t be disrespected if they are nice. WOW!!!

Aruba: First Quarter Deficits Over 100 million Florins already … A Sign of Things to Come

Budget deficits in Aruba …

For the first quarter of the year Aruba is already showing a 100 million florin budget deficit. Over government spending could be one cause; however, do not think that anticipated revenue from taxes from visiting tourists is also not part of the problem as well. Tourism is still not yet at pre-Natalee Holloway disappearance numbers, energy costs are higher and people are not spending as much in vacations. Opposition AVP leader claiming that budget deficit is because of MEP’s excessive expenses for the apparatus of government. However, these issues never used to happen during the Aruban tourism bonanzas.

Clinton Rips Obama in West Virginia Primary 67% - 26% … Is Obama Really a Viable Candidate?

OUCH!!! Hillary Clinton Routs Obama, 67% to 26%.

And the winner of last nights Democratic Primary in West Virginia was … John McCain.  A little fact for Democrats and Super Delegates to ponder … a Democrat has not won the White House since 1916 if they did not win West Virginia. Yesterday, we posted with some exaggeration that Clinton could have a big win in WV; however, who knew it would be this type of rout? 

Clinton more than proved that she should continue and let her voice be heard and that voters and delegates better take a long hard look at the viability of Barack Obama.. Is Obama really a viable Democratic option for President if he can be beat in a swing state like West Virginia by 40 points?

Last night in the West Virginia Primaries Hillary Clinton routed Barack Obama by 41% points, 68–37. It is hard to believe that this was the ending that team Obama wanted. Obama can focus on GWB and McCain all he wants in his speeches, he better start wooing the Democratic vote that seems to be leaving him. One thing is for certain … Obama is limping to the finish line as it was a Donkey butt kicking, while Hillary Clinton is hard charging and on the offense.

Clinton’s resounding victory in a state that has slipped away from Democrats in the past two elections added fresh ammunition to her claim that she is better positioned than Obama to capture critical swing states in November. But the primary win may have come too late to have a significant impact on the trajectory of a nomination battle in which Obama has an almost insurmountable lead in delegates.
