Missing NY Pastor, Reverend Craig Rhodenizer, Found inside Ohio Strip Club

The search is over for missing pastor, Craig Rhodenizer. He was found OK, but most certainly with less $1 bills in his pocket than when he first went missing. Let’s guess, Rhodenizer was at the strip club showing the girls the errors of their ways and reforming sinners?

It looks like Reverend Jeremiah Wright of famed “Pastor Disaster” is not the only pastor with some explaining to do. New York pastor, Rev. Craig Rhodenizer, of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lyndonville, N.Y had been missing. His vehicle was found outside a strip club in Riverside, Ohio. Rhodenizer was found inside physically fine but emotionally distraught.

“When they had contact with him, he appeared to be very distraught and very emotional,” Lewiston Sgt. Frank Previte told The Buffalo News. “He told the officers that he did not know how he got there or where he was.”

Rev. Craig Rhodenizer

Dancers inside the strip club told investigators that Rev. Craig Rhodenizer spent two hours drinking alcohol, soliciting dances and making threatening comments. He also said he wanted to take the dancers back to his motel, according to the police report. In his car was a bottle of Bacardi rum. (WKBW)

      #2 – Agreed.

However, some in certain positions are held to a higher standard. However, in the end there is only one that we will have to answer to.

God does give us conscious thought to make choices between right & wrong.

One wonders just how many other times this pastor deviated off the path.

One wonders why he had to go all the way to Ohio.

He knew where the motel was with a bottle of Rum for the strippers but all of a sudden when police showed up he had no idea where he was or how he got there.PLEASE!! My past preacher at a very large church like to councel divorced women at there homes in there time of need and had been bonking his babby sitter since she was 18 till 41 years of age.
I’m just an average sinner out here but have never been close to the sins of many preachers at church’s today. I have had two of my friends preachers and youth ministers that have had affairs, hooked on porn and the worst was having sex with a 14 year old female. They still have not charged the youth minister yet!
With all that said I still attend church but guard my daughter at chuch as I would anywhere else. It’s not safe at church anymore!

      I believe strongly that if”
A person has a personal and true relationship with god…. there would be no room for this kind of thing to happen…he must have been entertaining these thoughts and finaly the flesh said ok… do it…. and he did..

years ago I attended a church where my x husband was assistant pastor. the pastor of our church at the time had been secretly sleeping with my cousins wife and eventualy he ran off with her … needless to say as a result of this alot of our parishoners left the church in disgust. Many of us forgave him and after a few yrs he returned to his wife.. she remained loyal to him… thru it all… eventualy he returned back to the ministry and lo and behold one day.. he just disappeared with all the churchs funds and was said to be living somewhere in europe..to those pastors there is going to be a greater accountability…alot of the members of the church relied on him for spiritual guildance.. such was the case of a couple who were members.of our church …unfortunately their daughter opal mills had been among the women killed by the green river killer …they were going thru an immensely tough time….he let them and everybody else down.. one day these pastors will have to stand before god.. to whom much is given much is required…god said feed my sheep dont sleep with them… this is so sad… and tragic…

Murph (#6) is correct. If you walk into church expecting the leadership (i.e. pastors, ministers, deacons, elders, teachers, ect) to be saints, then you will end up being very disappointed.

The best thing that can happen these days is that church leadership be held to the same standard as any leader (i.e. Spitzer, Swaggart, Clinton, Bakker, etc). Publish every fallen leader’s name in the newspaper!

distraught and overemotional? roflmfao, i would have been distraught and overemotional if i’d just been caught like that too. probably his whole career and marriage flashed across his eyes just before they disappeared forever. wait…he can get himself cousneled by jvds. he’ll be cleared in no time.

Craig is an old youth pastor of mine. Don’t judge people unless you know them … if any of you are religious, you shouldn’t need anyone to actually tell you that. This isn’t like him. He had been working really hard around the Easter holiday (dealing with a lot of other people’s issues and having a hard time coping with his own problems), and it got the better of him. No one is perfect. Grow up.

On this story……..Complete moral ineptitude!! Perhaps this deserves that little clip art of the stick figure guy SM posts with question marks all around him and the word “I believe the phrase I’m searching for is WTF?” It is almost so sad you have to laugh, and laugh I did. The irony is… what do normal and good-hearted Americans have to look up to or forward to nowadays?

To get off subject a little bit….
If you want to see a good flick that really makes you wonder—-check out Will Smith in

      I AM LEGEND….

of course it is fiction, while at first it might sound something like Cast Away with zombies…. Truth be told, that’s not a terrible premise!! Will Smith plays Robert Neville, a virologist investigating a genetically engineered cure for cancer that has gone very, very wrong. With most of the world’s population wiped out and a small remnant turned into ravenous, infected carriers, Neville ekes out a lonely existence with only a dog for company in the remains of New York City, hunting, foraging, and exploring by day and shutting himself in at night.

We really gotta sic one of these monsters on the wimpy Sporter, his equally puss-ified Father, Anita (poor excuse for a Mother) and lets not forget the 2 weasely Kalpoe Brothers. Apologies for allowing my creative imagination to run away here….Ah, yes- I digress.

So, check it out.(I AM LEGEND)..get lost in it… by the time they Zombie’s in the movie are in full-on assault mode, that’s about when we let Joran and his posse loose! Yee Haaaaa ! While that is just my adapted version…even though the Holloway murder case will never get played out to the same conclusion… imagining the journey it may have taken to get there would be no less entertaining.

good excuse geeez… he was already entertaining those thoughts and fed into them… so dont play the poor guys card.. no excuse..

    14. murph on March 31st, 2008 11:16 pm

Sara-so the excuse is pressure from Easter(Jesus has risin) that makes you go get a motel room to screw strippers. I have a hard time with that one. I do agree there is more to this than any of us know but on my worst day (I have a few)would I ever leave my wife and children to drink and get drunk with strippers.I guess the Church lady from SNL could answer this the best-what would make a man of the cloth to run with naked fornacaters to a motel room for the horizonal mombo. What could it be- maybe SATTTTTTTTTTTTAN!

      THIS IS THE USA,
      LAND OF FREEDOM..
FREEDOM TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WISH….
      FREE WILL..

      THE PROBLEM IS ;
PEOPLE ALWAYS THINK PASTORS AND PRIESTS ARE SAINTS…FORGETTING THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS..

THE ONES THAT HAVE TV AT HOME, AND NOT ONLY US CHANNNELS, GET THE WORLD CHANNELS.., CAN SEE CLEAR ….

    19. worried about our role models on June 6th, 2008 11:10 am

If people of the cloth realized they were human just like the rest of us, they would put less pressure on themselves and they wouldnt have these “breakdowns”!
