More Obama Spin from a Typical Politician … Obama Would have Left Chicago Trinity United Church of Christ if Rev. Wright Stayed

Oh what tangled webs we weave, when we practice to deceive … or lie! The Reverend Wright, Pastor Disaster, is not going to go away any time soon. Because of that Barack Obama now feels the need to make further comments regarding distancing himself from the hate message. This time Obama states, that if Reverend Wright had not stepped down from the Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama would have left. What a crock this is. As Red State says, Barack … stop digging.

“Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying at the church,” Obama said Thursday during a taping of the ABC talk show, “The View.” The interview will be broadcast Friday.

How typical a politician could Obama possibly be? This is Obama’s way of attempting to further distance himself from Reverend Wright, the gift who keeps on giving, while still pandering the his black voting base. How pathetic are you Obama, that you would do the following … Obama Defends Wright’s Reputation, Not Words. Suddenly, when it behooves you and the predicament you are in, they are only just words.

Its actually irrelevant that 1 in 10 get Obama’s religion wrong. Who cares whether some think he is Muslim. Obama has a greater problem than that as he runs away from his religion of the past 20 years as if his hair was on fire. What was his religion? A message of divisiveness, racism and hate. I think most Americans now have gotten that answer right.

We all knew that Hillary Clinton had a credibility problem; however, your campaign ran on the premise that you did not. Looks like that was another lie as both Democrat candidates have a major credibility issue.

Message to Obama –’why dont you just shut up while you are ahead. please remember the majority of your voters are not mentally retarded’

I guess this would be a good list for Obama–

1.If you elect me president I will quit Wright’s church if you want me to.
      2. If you elect me president I will divorce Michelle if you want me to.
3.If you elect me president I will jump naked from a bridge if you want me to.

Good Grief..I hate how the voters are looked at as if we have little sense while it appears to me that the candidates have lesser sense.

Doesn’t matter what obama say’s about his church.. he has lost alot of credibility with alot of voters. He is trying to regain respect from perspect voters. aint gonna happen.

Not only do both Hillary and Obama have creditability issues both they both are demonstrating how dumb they believe the American people are.

Come on, a 4th grader could give better (more believable) excuses than than these two!

I see things like this and I just get angry that anyone has just a low opinion of us that they actually expect we might believe what they say.

Note that Obama says we are over reaching to call Wright his “spiritual adviser” that Wright is simple his Pastor. Uh, Barack, look up Pastor in the dictionary.

i’m still in shock that a minister would speak this way from the pulpit. as well as the fact that there are people stupid enough to sit through his sermons week after week. has anyone seen the size of the retirement house that the church is building for wright? unbelievable!!!

the lack of credibility on the democrat ticket along with the super delegate issue will be the end of the democrat party. all it will take is for the popularity of the green party to grow to destroy the dems.

Obama is a closet hate monger. The Dems are now dreaming about Al Gore again. They ought to try to recruit Tiger Woods for their presidential candidate. He is just as smart, a lot richer and better looking, and immensely more popular. And if the economy really goes in the tank, maybe he could lend us his credit cards.

OK, when did Wright acknowledge that what he said offended people? Or is this like Hillary and her Bonsia recall? These people are out right liars.

The sad part is that much of the American public swallow this stuff hook, line and stinker…

and the politicians know they will.

The more Obama talks his patronizing apology, and the more other rogue white haters seflrighteously talk, the more angry this makes me.

All this does damage within our country. Truely I hate to see this.

Amoung my personal black friends, black leaders on the tube, and politicians trying to make hay (gov Richarson-like) I watch for the same regret to the damage to citizens of our country that I have. So many cold shoulders I see. Such fantastic opportunity for fessing up and bending into the ‘good’ human lane.

I looked up the word ‘hypocritical’ in the dictionary and beside it , there was a picture of Barack hugging Mr.Wright !

Is anyone surprised that Jeremiah Wright is being sent off to a retirement of wealth and oppulence? Remember; he’s done such wonderful work with the poor, according to Obama. As my wise old grandfather told me years ago, “Get into poverty, son, that’s where the MONEY is!”

    11. Carpe on March 30th, 2008 2:29 pm

Dude… Rev Wright said one of the lamest
lines I’ve heard in a long while!

They look down their garlic noses.

I know he didn’t play the
      DIRTY DOZENS growin’ up, he
      would have lost for sure.

…and I mean that, with all my rutabaga heart.

      #7 Pat

      Correct!!!

If Obama has trouble taking public flack
over his wacky rev…. how in the heck is he EVER
going to handle serious international & domestic problems?

unless we’re black, I think we’re missing the innuendos. just because something is said by someone close by, doesn’t mean we have to believe it. don’t be so closed minded.
