Hillary Clinton Takes a Thumping in the Potomac Primaries … Obama Sweeps Virginia, Maryland and DC Primaries
Barack Obama not only sweeps Hillary Clinton in Virginia, Maryland and DC … he destroyed her. This was not even a contest, it was a butt kicking. And there is more gloom on the horizon for Hillary Clinton as Barack Obama leads the polls in Wisconsin, 50% – 39%. Six months ago, no one could have predicted any of this was going to happen.
- DC 98% reporting Obama 75% Clinton 24%
- MD 39% reporting Obama 59% Clinton 37%
- VA 99% reporting Obama 64% Clinton 35%
Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) swept today’s Democratic Potomac Primary, claiming a trio of victories to extend his consecutive winning streak over Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) to eight states and jurisdictions.
Obama won by wide margins in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia — a highly diverse region that includes large urban and suburban centers and significant swaths of rural territory. This trio of wins, when coupled with his other recent victories, give Obama a jolt of momentum and may well establish him as the front-runner in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Wonder What Barack Obama thinks of this Flag Issue? Promoting Change?
Some one may want to call “Extreme Home Makeover” and nominate this Houston, TX Obama campaign office. Is this the message of change that Barack Obama is promoting? From NewsBusters …
Democrat Presidential candidate Barack Obama already has an issue with wearing American Flag lapel pins, and even with putting his hand over his heart when the American National Anthem is playing. It will be interesting to see how he’ll react (if at all) to the flag hanging in one of his new campaign offices in Houston, Texas.
Yep, that’s right — that is the national flag of Cuba hanging on the wall with none other than Che Guevara superimposed on it.
