Noone wants to see that deviate arrested more than I do, but imo the arrest will not stick unless there is more evidence, a witness, the owner of the boat, because unless these socalled law enforcement asses have their backs up against a wall of nails, they will never get a conviction. This case stinks to high heavan.
Beth and Dave needs to insist that the State Dept. step in and put pressure on the Netherlands and Aruba. The State Dept. of course has its own AGENDA which is probably why they would probably not want to interfere.
I am praying for more back up to the tapes. Come on Arubans step up to the plate and do the right thing.

John Gibson said Aruba seems to be very slow on an Aruban arrest.
JQK said Natalee’s behavior suggests she was drugged. Now he suggests she had seizures.
It is clear Joran did not want her body found and he was responsible for her death.
There has been a lot of speculation about Paulus. John said the father could take a lie detector test to appease everybody.
Kimberly said isn’t is about high time they bring Paulus in for questioning.
JQK said he would like them to have another conversation with Paulus. If they haven’t by now he hopes they would. John Gibson said why wouldn’t they. Is it because he is a judge or a judge in training there, is he getting preferential treatment not being questioned because he is sort of an insider in the system.
JQK said the day after Natalee disappeared right after Joran was questioned you have law enforcement officers asking if Natalee had seizures or was prone to them so they obviously knew something too. They wanted to protect someones son or a young man on the island.
JQK they move pretty slowly down there but the evidence is pretty compelling.
I think Joran and Paulus are both guilty and pretty much low life scum. What also strikes me after hearing him talk, he is crazy, insane, and really has mental problems(psychopath-sociopath). Maybe that is why Stratten said something about a mental hospital for Joran.
Does this mean Paulus and Anita let this immoral sociopath wander not caring when, how many people got hurt or killed? Well we know Paulus is an immoral man by his statements. Jorans statements are from a truly sick mind that can not be helped.
I would not doubt a sentence to a mental hospital coming up soon from an Aruba court.
That means Paulus and Anita would walk away free.

How about this scenario – making the time line fit better too.
Joran drugs Natalee, she has a seizure, Joran wets his pants, hides Natalee in the Mangroves and runs home. Tells Daddy. Daddy tells Joran to go about his business, Daddy will take care of everything.
So days later when one of the suspects confesses, Joran leads investigators to the Mangroves (because that’s the last place he saw Natalee) but of course Daddy has arranged to have that site cleaned up. Joran later hears (or guesses) the dumped at sea by Daddy.
In the mean time Joran has shared his story with Deepak. Hence a bit of a question about whether Natalee is really dead when Deepak and Joran talk in the police car.

ART WOOD: In August, the Diario tip line recorded an after hours call from a woman. She advised that there was a crooked cop, his name was Halley and he took a body from the sand prior to the search. The woman said that Halley knows Paulus Van der Sloot. Art copied that tape and gave it to Helen Lejuez who in turn gave it to the prosecutor to be entered into evidence. In September, Dave Holloway questioned Dompig regarding this tape and the police vehicle that had been seen. Dompig and the investigative team acted like they never heard of either account. This is what Beth was talking about the would “shock the world”….”

The disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway and the ensuing police investigation has cost the former Dutch colony of Aruba tens of millions of dollars in lost income from American tourists.

I don’t in any way believe the story Joran is telling, but if it will get him behind bars… let him talk. He will never tell the truth about what he and his family did to Natalee, but I can tell you, she died for her virture, her kindness, her goodness and her loving hears…
Who wouldn’t want to be like Natalee. She has already won her crown in heaven for dying for God’s sake. He was there, and he was her friend. I believe that he took her early, just barely.
The fact that this happens all the time… it is our duty to Natalee to stop the human trafficking in Aruba and force the Netherlands to work with the State department to be sure that this NEVER, EVER, EVER happens again.

BRAVO NANCY GRACE… Good news show this evening. Jug was on the show and I loved it because they both racked over Aruba and its cover up on what really happened. Jug was very outspoken about Van Straten and the ALE asking him about Natalee having seizures and how corrupt Aruba is…
It was great that they were both exposing the lies.
I’m not holding my breath they’ll arrest Joran!
But I’d bet money if they find Natalee’s body they will find others. Here’s why I think that….
They were too sure Natalee would not be found…so it seems like they had a place to dump bodies that had a proven track record of being a great place. And I don’t think that would be the ocean because it’s too risky in many ways. And I do think it would be a place Paulus could drive by every once in a while and peer from a distance to see if anyone were looking there – just to satisfy himself he is still safe. And I think it would be a place where Paulus didn’t need anyone else’s help.

Okay, we know that Deepak and Satish dropped them off at the beach. They walk down the embankment to the sand and they walked. Natalee is not afraid of this man until he says something weird and she turns to look and him and gets hit by something to the side of her eye and up a little.
Joran makes a cell phone for the truck that already has the cage in it. When it arrives, they notice that Natalee is having a seizure brought on by the attack to the head that she had taken from Joran. He calls his father and Deepak, who goes on line to create an alibi for him, just in case.
When one, finally, stops their seizure; they are very, very tired. In fact, some people don’t become conscience. They may only open their eyes, etc. So, in my opinion, it was forward with the plan, under Paulus’ command.

I appreciate JQK’s optimism regarding the case, but here is why Joran will walk….
Paulus is your perp. I have trumpeted for almost two years what Aruba was doing to effectively distance Paulus from the case.
For those who want a lesson in how government actors cover-up for each other, follow what Aruba did in order to make sure this case would never be solved:
Paulus’ friend and Aruban prosecutor, Karin Janssen provided the unthinkable…a letter to Paulus Van Der Sloot stating that he was “no longer a suspect” in the case. She did not provide a letter like this for the two black guys Aruba tried to frame in the first 10 days, or for Joran or any of his buddies. For Aruba to bring Paulus back in, they need to retract this letter due to the AMAZING Conflict of Interest.
Paulus takes this letter to the courts and DEMANDS that he be released as a suspect from the case. The court obliges. Paulus now cannot be investigated as the ruling as he is no longer considered a suspect in the case. For Aruba to take in Paulus, they need to retract Karin Janssen’s letter due to Conflict of Interest + file in the courts to reverse this order stating he was no longer a suspect.
Paulus then does what is known in legal circles as “layering the onion”. He files with Aruba to receive a payment for his arrest and detention as, he wasn’t a suspect in the case and it was a false arrest (this is what Joran bragged he and daddy were going to do to raise money in his confession video). Now, for Paulus to be brought in as a suspect, Aruba needs to retract Karin Janssen’s Conflict of Interest Letter, reverse the “no longer a suspect” in the case order, and reverse this $30,000 award from the court.
Paulus got stupid, and demanded $50,000 more, and the Aruban courts shot him down. In addition, they laid out the AMAZING order that Hans Mos refuses to touch….that PVDS had two contacts that night with Natalee Holloway.
This stuff reeks so bad of cover-up that I wish that FOX or JQK would expose it. Attornies are always hesitant to expose judicial corruption, as you burn bridges there and you will get nothing done. JQK has played the “don’t rip on the judges” game long enough. ATTACK AND EXPOSE ALL OF THEM WHILE THEY ARE ON THE DEFENSIVE JQK!!!
In the end, Paulus is your perp…but the onion has been layered and no one on Aruba is touching that onion. This case is cooked until the onion is dealt with.

We’ve been told that these things cannot be used on Aruba … probably because they couldn’t find anyone honest enough to administer the tests.

What’s Joran’s parents’ case?
A few weeks ago, the parents of Joran van der Sloot appeared with me in the Dutch talk show Pauw & Witteman. They asserted that Joran was a boy with a good upbringing, who always treated girls with respect. They also stated that if they had any indication that Joran was indeed involved in the disappearance of Natalee, they would have gone to the police immediately.
- BORDERING ON NAÏVITÉ -
On this occasion, Joran’s mother – who was in the Netherlands at the time of Natalee’s disappearance – gave me the impression of a kind, honest woman, who loves her son dearly, but has no idea about what really made him tick. However, even naïveté has its limits, which I feel she should have reached after watching our program.
Especially in the USA, Joran’s father is seen as someone who knows more about the case than he is willing to let on. He was indeed on Aruba at the time of the disappearance, and later advised his son not to say anything to the police during questioning. According to Joran, his father has devoted himself to filing compensation claims.
In conversations recorded by us, Joran expressly denies that his father was involved in Natalee’s disappearance. However, many see his assertion that on the night in question, his ‘helper’ urged him to ‘get home quickly because he had to go to school the next day’, as an indication that his father could indeed be involved.
- SMUGGLED MOBILE PHONE -
There is also something else that Joran admitted to Patrick in some detail. He said that when visiting him in custody after his initial arrest, his father Paul van der Sloot, who was a Judge at the time, smuggled a mobile phone to his son. The story comes across as highly plausible, and implies an unforgivable transgression by the Judge/attorney.
This story, casually related by Joran, could understandably cast Joran’s parents’ role in a very different light from what they would have liked us to believe during Pauw & Witteman. It is, after all, in their best interests that everything Joran has stated be dismissed as fabrications. Any veracity afforded to Joran’s statements will effectively also ‘hang’ his father for smuggling the mobile phone into the prison. In that case, he would undoubtedly be disbarred as an attorney, with his reputation in Aruba in tatters. Until recently, the parents enjoyed a reasonably respected position on the island. That reputation will be history, should it be verified that Paul van der Sloot deliberately sabotaged the investigation into the disappearance that has caused Aruba so much damage.
- REPORTING TO THE POLICE -
If the parents’ earlier pronouncements were in earnest, one would expect that following our program – during which their son admits his involvement no fewer than ten times – they would confront their son saying: ‘enough is enough. We are going to the police and you will tell them everything that happened. You will not reserve your right to remain silent for another instant.’
This did not occur, however. Instead, Joran issued a statement through his attorney, saying that all his pronouncements were made while under the influence of marijuana joints and that his litany of admissions is a bizarre fabrication. Surely the parents must realize that this is a cheap attempt at a cop-out, that actually also works to the benefit of father Paul. If everything is a fabrication, then so is the story about the mobile phone. Contrarily, if everything is in fact true, it will undoubtedly be assumed that the story about the smuggled mobile phone is true as well, with appropriate consequences.
- NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE -
Anyone who has done any thinking, or has themselves smoked marijuana, must surely realize that Joran’s story about the joints just doesn’t hold water. During the course of five separate drives, on different days – sometimes separated by more than a week – Joran made extensive confessions. His confession was confirmed and repeated during each subsequent drive. Not once did he say that last time, while under the influence of marijuana, he had been sprouting a lot of hot air. On the contrary. ‘Coincidentally’, the bulk of his admissions fall perfectly in line with the vein of the earlier police investigation, and in them, Joran provides answers to several open-ended questions (how he got home, what he did with his shoes, the involvement of the Kalpoe brothers etc. etc.).
Furthermore, I have to point out that there were several drives during which he either DID NOT smoke marijuana, or only did so AFTER discussing Natalee’s case. The TV footage shows this quite clearly. He made and/or repeated confessions even while he was ‘as sober as a Judge’. Or does Joran now allege that when Patrick came to pick him up him at around noon, he had already got stoned sitting on his grandma’s sofa?
- CONFESSION COMPULSION? -
But even if he was already stoned – which I don’t believe – the question remains whether he would suddenly start to confess to all manner of bizarre crimes of which he is actually innocent? Or would the parents and grandma now like us to believe that he was in the daily habit of confessing to unsolved murders each time he rolled a reefer??? Of course not. A marijuana joint does not have that effect at all. If it did, the corridors of police stations in the Netherlands and elsewhere would be chock-full of marijuana users, spontaneously confessing to all manner of unsolved crimes. That is, of course, not the case. Joran’s story is untenable. In my opinion It’s simply the only excuse he could think of to explain his constant confessions – an explanation that suits his parents just fine. After all, it is now also in their best interests….

Natalee Hollowy: Still on the island of Aruba and not in the ocean
“I’ll do anything to protect my son” Paulus told Dave Holloway. Protection from what? Being framed for a crime he didn’t commit? In Aruba? I don’t think so.
You were protecting him from the truth and from the consequences of his actions.
The “I dropped her at the beach” story may have been believable if told initially. But it wasn’t, it couldn’t. Paulus had not finished with the evidence. The no body no crime mantra did not yet apply.
First they needed a distraction away from the beach and away from the van der sloot property.
The Kalpoe’s and Joran van der sloot were able to get a pass on a story but the security guards were not, even though they too had a story and it was the truth!
It took 10 days to figure out that they had not lied. The van der sloot lie was accepted immediately.
But so was Paulus, friend of the police, close friends of the Police Chief. A father compelled to action in his warped sense of parental responsibility. He failed yet again as a judge.
The first was not realizing his son’s social life was costing more than his own.
A father whose idea of spending quality time with his son was in a casino gambling. A father who didn’t see the literal wall he built by allowing his son to have his own apartment, without paying rent, he taught him nothing. He created a life for his son that he wanted for himself. But he created a monster, predator and now a rapist and murderer.
The 3 suspects are often excused for lying because they were scared. The same scared suspects would not have been capable of making Natalee disappear along with all other evidence so completely in such a short time frame. And, the ocean is not the likely resting place for Natalee’s remains. The timing of the 2 stories is key to understanding why Natalee’s remains are not in the ocean.
That first night, the police either decided or were told not to bring the Kalpoes and Joran van der sloot into custody, which is normal procedure when dealing with missing persons. Eliminate suspicion quickly, but in this case they could not follow procedures and eliminate suspicion so they needed time, and a story.
This is the moment Paulus van der sloot took control of this investigation. Took control to solve a crime and then to un-solve a crime, to protect his son, Joran van der sloot. Paulus thinks that if he can work the legal system it will somehow change history. He thinks that winning is only in the courtroom. But Paulus, you’ve already lost.
Mr. Van der sloot would know what to do with evidence and how to misdirect the police, the ones he works with every day. He would know the best place to get rid of evidence.
The landfill is a place that would require legal authority and approved resources to search. Evidence gets buried deeper and deeper each day.
It’s tedious and dangerous work.
But the landfill, nothing looks out of place because everything is out of place.
The ocean would require a boat and the risk of being seen. Keep the crime insulated in as small a circle as possible, no chances. And it needs to be done quickly.
When his father said ‘no body no crime, he was describing to the 3 suspects what he had done with the evidence. This is when they came up with their second story.
Paulus van der sloot is the only one who knows where Natalee is buried.
He would do it alone to insulate himself and Joran and rope in Deepak and Satish and find a way to blame it on them if need be.
He would certainly have thought to pass blame on the Kalpoe’s if he could but he could not.
Just what did they do that necessitated killing Natalee and making sure she would not be found. There were early reports that she “hit her head, she fell and they all had sex with her.” Too bad about the Kalpoe’s. Now you must live with the knowledge that they could drop a dime on you at any moment. Sleep well? Or have you thought about getting rid of them too?
There still is no corroborated timeline from the night Natalee disappeared. The parents of the suspects only lend more suspicion and not less.
This is very, very disturbing.
Steve Croes, Paulus van der sloot and Mrs. Kalpoe cannot corroborate a consistent timeline to account for the 3 on the night Natalee disappeared.
There is no proof or evidence of any kind that links Natalee to anyone else after she was with Joran van der sloot. No corroborating evidence that Joran’s second beach story is even true. So how did the Kalpoe’s get involved and why are the Van der sloots and Kalpoes holding a proverbial gun to each other’s head?
Dompig is steering Dave away from the landfill.
He claims he is acting on rumors of stolen fishing equipment. A story that has been around for months but without evidence. Did they fingerprint the huts? Rumors?
Natalee’s remains get buried more each day in the landfill.
How can anyone doubt that Paulus van der sloot is running this investigation?
Aruba is a business.
Aruba is worried about tourism and not justice. Instead of calling in help from the FBI they hire media consultants to advise them on damage control.
Instead of asking the FBI they form committee’s to fight the negative press.
In classic and destructive style they are pointing the finger back at their largest customer.
They have shown a textbook example of how not to manage a crisis. In any form of commerce when a vendor not only doesn’t take care of a problem but also blames the customer, you only enrage the customer even more.
The racism angle exists for sure. No one likes to admit it but when the world saw the arrest of the 2 black security guards, we thought: case closed. A tragedy yes, but we’ve seen it before.
When news came that they were released and the last known person to be with Natalee was the son of someone who works in the prosecutor’s office, that’s when Aruba was blindsided and blinded.
Then, just when confirmation of Natalee’s death comes on the news, a close friend of the suspect’s father replaces Chief Dompig and Aruba officially retracts the “story.”
And Aruba cannot understand the negative press?
Unless and until the investigation is focused on Jan van der Straaten and Paulus van der sloot Aruba will continue to dig itself a deeper hole. A timeline of Paulus’ action and contacts will reveal his solving and un-solving of this crime. Your customer’s want answers and deserve answers.
The bottom will come on November 11th when a judge and not the Police will decide that Paulus is no longer a suspect in the case.
This has become a clubby legal exercise where the lawyers and judges demonstrate that they are above the law with some entitlement to the equivalent of diplomatic immunity.
Paulus van der sloot unsolved this case because he controlled the evidence and it’s destruction. He then fashioned a story to fit his version of a lie. He used his son and the Kalpoe’s as pawns. He did what his teenage son did, create fantasies and then believe them. Comfortable in the courtroom with his nose in books yet runs from the cameras and cowers in his house while Natalee’s father is down the street looking for her remains.
The Dutch in Aruba have options in Holland and will lay waste to the island before they depart.
The locals don’t have that option.
What irony. If American dollars carry so much consequence why then was the FBI not fully in charge from the beginning?
Who said, “Americans value life, we value death?” Any guesses Holland?
Cowardly men with false pride and a father who thinks he is doing what all fathers would do. Unfortunately, Paulus van der sloot hadn’t noticed what a failure he really is. Trying to revise history via the legal system won’t unring the bell that is Natalee Holloway. Your team of lawyers and manipulation with connections will not raise your stature anywhere, especially not in the eyes of your son. Nothing can replace the moment you showed who you are, running like a scared rabbit, running from your own truth.
You may walk on November 11th but you’ll always be running. Running from the truth, for the rest of your life and the lives of your family. Your son, the rapist and murderer, Joran van der sloot.
Look out your window and see a man, a father, Dave Holloway. He dug through a landfill looking for his girl. Can you comprehend that? The girl your son “dropped at the beach.”
Even standing on a landfill looking for the remains of his daughter, Dave Holloway is still more blessed than you ever will be. Now he wants to say goodbye to his beautiful and accomplished daughter.
And what are you doing? Paying lawyers to keep your son in lies, working towards a career as a casino greeter? You and your family are a freak show.
There are no coincidences and there is no mystery. Mystery is a word used by lazy and slovenly nanny state employees that have lost sight of right and wrong.
Natalee’s history is not unlike Aruba’s. Once beautiful and simple. Now gone, corrupted by the Dutch, hiding behind greed.
Paulus van der sloot; there is always time for redemption, that’s a gift from God. You are one confession away from redemption.
It takes courage. What’s that, you don’t know what that is? It’s not in the courtroom surrounded by a cadre of lawyers.
It’s in Beth Twitty as she knocks on doors in Aruba. It’s in Dave Holloway as he stands among your wasteland looking for his daughter.

In my opinion I think joran is still leading everyone away from where Natalee is. He is dangling another carrot in front of us and we are following. I have no clue if he dumped her in the sea or she is on land, I could believe the sea if she was taken farther out than a couple miles and was in something heavy. I simply believe if she were just dumped at sea , eventually she would have washed up on shore. I read a post here on scared monkeys from a gentleman named Jerry, and he is talking about the landfill, and Im more inclined to think that is where she is as well. If what jerry is saying is true, then think about it, joran did mention that ,basically they were close, very close to finding her and in the same sentence he said something to the effect of, no, no, they will never find her. I can’t help but to think her remains are still on the island. If you don’t want someone finding something you lead them away from it. Make smoke to cloud things, this has been so well masterminded and I also believe Paulus is the brains behind this. As a father, I also agree with most everyone here, joran would of called his Dad, thus take it with him to his grave, he had said. Daddy sloot is as deep in this as joran. I believe Natalee was coherient enough to figure out what was coming down and refused him and he got ugly from that point and I believe she fought for her virtue and her life. I have no clue if the Kalpoes had sex with her or not, but Im sure they were there and they do know what happened.

First a detail, the Dutch prime minister is visting Aruba, to meat with the President of Aruba. the Natalee Holloway case will be on the agenda.
Second of all, please stop comparing Aruba and the Netherlands as if they are one entity. The situation is rather much more complex than that. On top of that, it was a Dutch Crime journalist who partly cracked the case.
Then third, legally, “How much more of a confession do they need to arrest Joran van der Sloot?”, does not hold in The Netherlands, nor in Aruba, because it is based on prove by provocation. On top : a convesion with hidden camera only holds in court, if a Judge ahs given the allowance to use one.
Then last, we (in the Netherlands) have criminal departments and a legal system to solve cases. Peter R. De Vries did not provide any evidence that will stand in court. Basically, he found the record numer of watchers (allmost half the Dutch population watched his show), more important than coming up with any evidence that will hold in court.
Fact is : the case made a giant step, now it is looking for more evidence and witnesses. However, for all of you who want Joran fried, I think he will get away with 2 years juvenile court, if it is true what he claimed in Peter R. De Vries show, which will be reduced by the months he was in jail.

Holloway’s Parents Await Judgement On Appeal

Natalee Holloway’s parents are anxiously awaiting news from Holland about whether the chief suspect in her disappearance will be re-arrested.
A three judge panel is now considering an appeal from Aruba’s chief prosecutor.
He’s asking the three judge panel to overrule a single judge who is refusing to allow Van Der Sloot to be re-arrested.
Investigators in Aruba questioned Joran Van der Sloot on Friday in connection with the Natalee Holloway disappearance and his secretly taped video confession.
Prosecutors said he again denied any role in the teen’s disappearance more than two and a-half years ago on the Dutch Caribbean island.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Van der Sloot claimed that he had been under the influence of marijuana when he said in a secretly taped video that he had been with Holloway when she died.
In the video, he said that he’d had a friend dump her body at sea.
Kayjay’s (#5) post is extremely important. We not only want to see JvdScum arrested, we want to see him charged, kept in jail, and tried.
(And convicted.)
An arrest in and of itself accomplishes little … indeed, it makes it all the harder to have him arrested yet again.
If Natalee is indeed in the ocean, then let’s hope the Persistence discovers her remains.
And, of course, we want the same for any and all accomplices, whoever they may be. And, I think, an investigation into the “investigation” that would include having van der Straaten, Dompig, Jacobs, and how many others questioned under oath.

@ Sharon : First of all, what God does or does not do, has nothing to do with what the Dutch or Aruban Justice departments will do to Joran. Second, you claim the world is watching to Aruba and the Netherlands, I can guarantee you that even the last hick-up of Britney Spears draws more attention than this case.
@ Scotty. As I said, and I really do not like repaeting myself, Joran will be sentenced according to juvenile court. The maximum sentence he is possible to get is 2 years. Of course the months he was in pre-arrest will be substracted. Whether you like it or not, it´s the Dutch law.
