John Q. Kelly and Joe Tacopina Discuss the Peter R. De Vries New Evidence and Confessions

Could this be it? Has Peter R. De Vries crack the Natalee Holloway case. Hear from both John Q. Kelly, attorney for Natalee Holloway’s family and Joe Tacopina, attorney for Joran Van der Sloot. One thing is for certain in this interview, attorney Joe Tacopina is extremely defensive and nervous because he has no idea what his client has said on these tapes.

“Beth had viewed some video tape, listened to some audio tape and ah, was astonished by what she had seen and heard” (JQK)

“One, she was satisfied that what she had seen and heard was authentic. Secondly, she just felt that some of her questions had been answered and some of the information she had been looking for , she felt she had now”. (JQK)

Just thought I’d share this. Not sure how factual this is, but it comes from a guy in the Netherlands….

      BREAKING NEWS:

Joran has indeed presented a confession in the Nathalie Holloway case. What he did confess to, is not known yet.

    2. JusticeforNatalee on February 1st, 2008 12:17 pm

His name is DeVries, Joey. Stop being a
      schmuck.

You know DeVries has nailed Joran.

      You know Joran is guilty.

And you can mispronounce DeVries’s name all you want, but
it doesn’t change the fact that DeVries has audio and video of your guilty client Joran.

De Vries is smarter than Joran.
DeVries is smarter than you, Joey. And he has integrity.

So, Joey, shut up. You look stupid.

Joe knows exactly how to pronounce Peter’s last name….it’s his rude and disrespectful behavior…Greta is trying to speak and he continually interrupts her…compare him to JQK, a man of intelligence, dignity and respect. I guess it is no surprise that the Sloot’s would hire that dirty deal!!!! He’s LIKE the kool-aid….LOUD MOUTH LIME!

    4. FL on February 1st, 2008 12:47 pm

The ALE on Aruba now confirmed that there is a confession of Joran. It is yet unclear what exactly he confirmed, but according Hans Mos it is an essential part of the missing pieces. See http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/3187293/_Bekentenis_Joran_bevestigd__.html?p=2,1

I will trust my feelings and thoughts thru Beth…she has been down this road before…as she said, many of her questions have been answered. Peter has been working on this for months….Joran probably knew with Peter’s questions in the interview that he was getting close….that prompted the wine throwing…if Joran’s family really loved him they would of seen to it that he had help long, long ago….they obviously had seen all the signs of someone in a lot of trouble…but did nothing…that is Anita’s delicious sporter…and Paulus’s partner in crime

Oh my…i bought myself a bag of chips and lot’s of snacks for sundaynight. I heard the news yesterday and i called everybody in Holland (well, everbody i know of course:P) and family in Aruba.
First i thought, if Peter really did solved the case…why isn’t there any arrest being made yet? Why wait untill sunday? I really hope he is not doing it for the ratings.
I just heard on the news that the OM in Aruba confirmed that Joran did made a statement but they are not saying what he said.
And today at school everybody was asking me questions about this. I normally don’t talk about this in school cuz most of my classmates don’t know that much about this case. They only know that Natalee went missing on Aruba and Joran was the last one with her that night and most of them don’t even know i’m from Aruba ( they think i’m Moroccan LOL)
So anyways, i heard them talking about this in the class so i started telling them what i know about this case …before i know everybody was asking me questions about this case and i gave them this site
(so if you see too many dutch students on this site, oops it’s all my fault)

This is a ploy. This is pure crap! Why would he all of sudden just confess now? Joran KNOWS he will do ZIPPY time either way. I can’t believe they are going to drag this poor woman thru the riggors of this again….

Shame on you Aruba and the Netherlands which controls that sorry excuse of an island.

I am sure his AHATA financed contract will not be renewed now that the house of cards is falling in Aruba.

They needed Joe’s lies to protect tourism. They don’t need them anymore.

I can’t imagine what he has billed them for his services. Be pretty interesting to go through his accounting to see where the dirty money came from!

Fl…can you either translate that link or provide a link already translated?

POSSIBLY,,,,just possibly dropping the charges was in part to allow Joran and Co. to relax enough for their over-inflated egos to allow them to talk and talk and talk…. Hmmm.

Seems it would be a good thing because it WORKED!
Oh I cannot wait to learn the facts. I imagine the confession is not completely true either. Kinda like getting pulled over after a night at the bar and telling the cop you’ve had only 2 drinks when you’ve had more. The cop can see you are impared, but is not going to be able to prove how much you really drank..only that your blood/alcohol levels are not legal!

    14. brenda on February 1st, 2008 1:46 pm

Scott, don’t be so certain about that. Joran may “confess” now because he realizes there is no way out of the hole he has now dug for himself. Of course, his “confession” is not going to be the “truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help me God” :>/

SL Gloria. Did you mean to type “manner of disposal”? This could be for so many reasons.

1-If put out to sea and NOT in the crab trap as so many have speculated. There is not going to be anything left to find. The sea took care of that.

2-If she was cremated, that answers that without need for explaination.

3-If she WERE placed in a crab trap, it will not be easy to find as it would have been carried out in a boat and even if the exact location of where it was dropped were known, ocean currents would have moved it and possible buried it in the sand at the bottom of the sea by now.

So…let’s continue to speculate and see what we find! Pray the outcome is what we’ve been waiting for.

Amsterdam – Joran did confess in the Holloway case. The ALE confirmed friday the interview with Peter de Vries with Hans de Mos. It is not clear what this confirmation is all about, but Mos said that an important part of the investigation is still missing.

A weblog called VKMAG (http://www.vkmag.com) published the interview thursday but no one wanted to confirm that. Peter de Vries earlier announced thursday that he completely solved the mistery of the missing Natalee Holloway. This sunday he will show what happened and how Joran is involved. Peter said he video taped Joran confession with a secret camera.

Hans Mos said that this scenario was one of the possible options what may have happened, “but we did not have the evidence” according Mos. He said this confession is like ‘a coming out’ [ FL: 'coming out' in this context means when someone admits he/she is homosexual for the first time ] of Joran.

Mos is very confident about Peters story. “If Joran lies, you’ll make a huge mistake and I do not believe he will be that stupid, because he is not that stupid”. He believes that the whole truth will come out very soon and finally end this case.

I was referring to J. Q. Kelly’s comment…maybe he said manner and I mistakenly thought he said matter. Anyways, it wasn’t clear to me if he meant that for now the remains could not be recovered or if he was saying there was no chance of it at all.

EXCELLENT !!!!! The following is plastered all over the YAHOO! websites opening page. Yahoo! is broadcasting the disgusting actions by corrupt ARUBAN officials and the Sloots. This is the world’s second largest internet search engine…imaging the audience out there mulling over the disgraceful conditions in ARUBA. I just hope that GOOGLE -#1 is carrying the story as well.

      The article:

“Aruba reopening Natalee Holloway case By MARGARET WEVER, Associated Press Writer
Fri Feb 1, 3:31 PM ET

ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Aruban prosecutors said Friday that they are reopening their investigation into the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway after seeing secretly taped material from a Dutch journalist.

“The recordings made available to the Public Prosecutor have given the Public Prosecutor a reason to reopen the investigation,” the public prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Prosecutors made no reference to the possibility of an arrest, and said they wouldn’t comment further so as not to jeopardize the investigation.

Dutch reporter Peter R. de Vries has promised to broadcast on Sunday a secretly taped “confession” by one of the suspects in Holloway’s May 2005 disappearance. He has not made clear what the “confession” consists of.

Dutch newspapers published a partial transcript of his talks with Aruba prosecutor Hans Mos, and Mos’ office said Friday that “what appeared on the Internet seems to be a reproduction of a part of the conversation.”

In the transcript, De Vries refers to a “confession” he obtained from suspect Joran van der Sloot, but doesn’t say what he allegedly admitted to.

“This is very impressive,” Mos is quoted as responding in the transcript, though it was not clear what specifically he was referring to. “We have thought to ourselves that this was a very probable chain of events but until now we lacked sufficient evidence.”

In another part of the transcript, the prosecutor says: “Clearly, it’s the first time that he’s confessed to somebody. This is his coming out.”

Holloway, 18, of Mountain Brook, Ala., was last seen in public leaving a bar with Van der Sloot and two Surinamese brothers — Deepak and Satish Kalpoe — hours before she was due to board a flight home from a school trip to Aruba.

The three were re-arrested in November, but released within weeks for lack of evidence. Prosecutors then dismissed their case against them, saying they lacked evidence even to prove a crime had been committed. Authorities have said the case could be reopened if new evidence surfaces.

Van der Sloot, who lived in Aruba at the time of Holloway’s disappearance, has denied any role in her disappearance, as have the Kalpoe brothers.

On Thursday, Aruban prosecutors had said they were investigating new information provided by De Vries. Without providing details, the prosecutors said the new material might help them determine how Holloway died and what happened to her body.

De Vries told Dutch television that he used a hidden camera in Aruba and the Netherlands to obtain images “that have proved to be very important” and that he would reveal what happened to Holloway on Sunday.

Two weeks ago, during a televised interview with De Vries, Van der Sloot threw wine in the journalist’s face after he challenged his credibility.

#17 I believe you are SO wrong! Beth’s reaction to me was sadness, almost depression and disgust that everyone has gone through so much because of this twerp called Joran.

She knew the inevitable, but now she believes and she actually is so compassionate that she thinks not of herself but of the Aruban people and what hell they have been through all because of twerp and his parents and a few guard dogs they called in. Now that is class!

I assume it’s de Vries interviewing her, but see him even give her a chance to feel sorry for herself – and she doesn’t. She feels pain for Natalee, all the people drug through this nightmare and finally Aruba. One classy lady!

    34. Dan on February 2nd, 2008 1:45 am

Katablog, I have to agree with you, Beth is one very ” Classy Lady ” She is a very , very, strong woman.

Joran does not need a lawyer, Joran has Greta on his side.

    36. Dan on February 2nd, 2008 6:43 am

Im only gonna say this once, Beth is a wonderful mother and a trooper, she has with stood all the media hype and maintained her focus on finding out what happened to her daughter. My hats off to her. She is probably one of the most strongest woman I will ever know in this lifetime. Im a man and Im telling you this woman gave birth to Natalee, and the pain she had giving birth is not even compared to the pain she is now feeling knowing her daughter has been murdered. She has done nothing but want answers and who the hell cares how she gets the funds to find out. I would do what ever was to my disposal to find answers, until you have this happen to you and a child do not pass judgement. Beth is a human being and wanting answers to her daughters death. I would only hope that my mother would do the same for me. So many people can speculate on her reasons why she wrote the book and pass judgement, and again Im telling you you are not in her shoes. There has been an injustice in this and she knows it and so do a bunch of us as well. Beth is a wonderful woman to me and a fighter, and has not given up hope. Stop slamming her and try and feel her pain as a mother and a child missing! If anyone out here can think for a moment, put yourself in her shoes, What would you have done? And don’t say you would not of let her go to aruba alone, she didn’t, she had chapparones. It was not Beths fault nor Natalee’s, it was a decision made by the perp, Joran and thats what changed the life of Natalee.

    37. Dan on February 2nd, 2008 7:21 am

If we all had hind sight then no one would ever be hurt nor missing. Unfortunately we don’t have this. Its our judgement and our beliefs that make us who we are. Its our teachings that make us who we are. Natalee has done well in school and it was her reward to go with the group to Aruba, a teenagers dream. God people think about it. Im sure Beth was concerned but her baby has grown up and graduated and it was a time for her. Im sure Natalle was in good hands and was doing as most of her years would, and having a blast, no parents to deal with. All kids think this at that age. To think that Beth was a bad mother is so screwed up, and if your one to think that, you had better look in your own back yard or see why its happening to you at the moment. Beth is and was a good mother and undestood her daughter. It does not matter what beth was doing the night Natalee disappeared she was right there. Some make it out to be she was out drinking and such and having a good time, well, so what, she has and had a life as well, its no ones business. If she had hind sight she would of not been out and Natalee would of never made the trip. Get the picture? I think Beth was a very good mother and a very good supporter of her daughter, and respected her daughters wishes. I for one would not let my daughter go on a trip to a foreign country unless she had earned it. I think Natalee did this, and her mother was proud. It was a gift to her, but who knew what was awaiting her in Aruba. No one can answer this truthfully till now, I would never let my child go anywhere out of the states.

    38. Dutchy on February 3rd, 2008 4:14 am

The man who made the secret recordings of conversations with Joran van der Sloot is called Patrick van der Eem, an entrepreneur from the city of Almelo (Netherlands). The Dutch national newspaper De Telegraaf reported this Sunday.

To De Telegraaf Van der Eem would have said “conviction” was his motivation to help in the investigation of Peter R. De Vries: “This case had to be solved”. Programm maker and crime journalist De Vries said Saturday that Van der Eem, an Aruban, got 25,000 euros paid for his five-month cooperation.

Joran van der Sloot would have confessed to Van der Eem that he made the body of the American Natalee Holloway disappear. In another TV programme (Pauw & Witteman) Van der Sloot told by phone on Friday that the confession to Van der Eem was not true.
