Prosecutor Says One of the Natalee Holloway Suspects Wrote Teen was Dead … But Suspects are Allowed to no longer be considered Suspects

Hey Aruba … If a Divi Divi tree falls in the woods and no one sees it, does it make a noise?

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Aruban Circular Logic known as corruption. It would have to be because no one could be this obtuse.

The prosecutors have stated that because they do not have Natalee Holloway’s body, they cannot prosecute a crime because they cannot reconstruct what happened nor can they figure out what exact role the suspects played.

Aruba_Suspects4

The fact that the body of the missing teenager was never found is for the OM ‘an important shortage’ in the possible reconstruction of what had exactly happened.  “Because of that, the current dossier cannot give sufficient answer on the question which punishable facts took place in the night of Holloway’s disappearance, nor can it answer the question what the exact role of the suspects was in this” (SM 12/19/07)

Frankly, they could have been provided an exact video tape of the crime and these clowns would not have been able nor willing to connect the dots. Now we are presented today from the prosecutor that one of the suspects wrote that Natalee was dead. An admission from a suspect that the victim was dead; however, in Aruba that means nothing. At least in this case it does not.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — One of three top suspects in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway wrote during an Internet chat session that the teenager was dead, Aruba’s chief prosecutor said Thursday.

Prosecutor Hans Mos refused to identify the person who wrote the message but said its discovery had contributed to the decision to re-arrest Joran van der Sloot and brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe last month.

The men were subsequently released after they refused to speak to authorities about newly uncovered evidence. The Aruba Public Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday it will not charge the three.

Mos said their re-arrests had been warranted by the circumstantial evidence, including statements from witnesses who said the three behaved strangely in the hours after Holloway vanished at age 18 on May 30, 2005 during an Aruba vacation with her Alabama high school graduating class.

Would someone in Aruba like to explain how in the hell that a suspect states that the victim, Natalee Holloway, is dead yet not only are all three suspects released from jail, but they are no longer considered suspects! However, they remain “persons of interest”. Why didn’t the three just remain suspects?

Mos refused to reveal details of other evidence that he said was gathered through new investigative techniques and a listening device planted in one of the suspects’ homes. Mos said van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers remain “the primary three persons of interest.”

“Any and all leads and new evidence will be investigated,” Mos said.

UPDATE I: Comments from Jossy Mansur regarding Prosecutor Mos and New Evidence

In the meantime, Mos did hold a press conference today to explain the so-called evidence that he based himself on – the testimony of girl who spoke to Joran about 5 hours after Natalee disappeared – a new technical interpretation of the laptops confiscated, that showed a new time line that contradicts the versions given so far by the three – tape interviews from the two brother’s home of conversations between them related to the disappearance of Natalee.

Tomorrow, the Kalpoe brothers have called a press conference. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.

      UNBELIEVABLE!!

I’ve watched and followed this case from day one. Haven’t posted in over a year, but this is so pathetic I couldn’t help it. As the ring leader, Paulis, said 2 years ago “no body, no crime”……..
Her poor family, to have to go through what they must have experienced (I can only imagine) when these 3 guys were re-arrested, to have absolutely nothing come of it is cruel. Here that Aruba?
C-R-U-E-L!!!! Now they aren’t even SUSPECTS anymore, and according to JVD atty they have to have a court order to be able to investigate anything in the future…and what’s this Statutes of Limitations on Manslaughter and Murder? GEEEZZZ!!!
I hope your “one happy island” rots in the hell you created!
when this story first surfaced a few weeks ago, my friend said ‘they’re just trying to get some tourist back for the american holidays’….
I wouldn’t go to Aruba and spend one damn penny there if my life depended on it!!!!

Does anyone know who bought VCB from Willeim van Croirmvort?
Is the Visibility Team even in existence? Since the government cannot pay the rent on the Parliment building as there was no money remaining after Oduber and his staff were paid.
Looks like health care is down the tubes also since funds also dried up for payments. Aruba keeps saying that tourism is up yet there is a resounding shortage of funds throughout Aruba. They must be doing it all with mirrors. It must be something else since the boycott is not working(?)

Let’s be honest with each other; face the facts Aruba, you were given the opportunity many times to solve Natalee’s disappearance and prosecute at least 8 to 10 suspects. You did not chose wisely; so now there is no (as the Japanese say saving face); The consequences are what remain. Its too late for dealing. Increased boycotts are mandated.

Give me the clown who said Natalee was dead for just 10 minutes. I’ll waterboard the bastard, and we’ll all learn the answer as to EXACTLY what happened the night Natalee went missing by the time we dip the ladel for the second gallon of water. Guaranteed.

Boycott Aruba to HELL and back…wait a minute, Aruba is Hell. I like others have followed this case from day one, I don’t post that often but I check this site daily and have done so for two and half years. Some might say I am obsessed with the case. My son graduated the same month and year as Natalee and I just think whoa, that could be my child. This has me so upset, I’m thinking of suing the Van Der Scums to recoup money for my blood pressure medicine. I cannot believe what idiots these people are. And JT needs to move to Lieruba where he fits in.

All I can say is based on this case and having a duaghter Natalees age, I would NEVER visit ARuba or let any of my family travel there. This a travesty. I pray for her family constantly and am only assured by knowing that those involved in this will rot in HELL for what they have done. There is a higher justice!

Apparently an internet chatroom confession that was considered “new incriminating evidence” isn’t good enough to try the murdering, gang raping, sons of bitches!!

Greta stated that it could be a good thing if Beth and Dave decide to appeal the closing of the case. They would have access to the case files, that is if the files still exist…

BOYCOTT ARUBA AND THE NETHERLANDS TIL HELL FREEZES OVER!!

“”A second witness statement came from a teacher
who said that another one of the suspects exhibited “very peculiar behavior” the day after Holloway’s disappearance, including making or receiving a lot of telephone calls,” “Mos said.”"
I have a 33% chance of getting this right
if the suspect was among Satish, Deepak or Joran.
Koen was not in school he dropped out. Guido was not in school. Geoff was not in school. Michael couldn’t find a school. Steve Croes wasn’t. The two guards were not in school. Lorenzo wasn’t considered. Paulus ; well he is another story. That would leave Sander. Ah but Sander swore as a witness that his phone was stolen and did not get a replacement until three or four days after Natalee disappeared.
      JORAN your it.

    10. Peter on December 20th, 2007 10:24 pm

How does the prosecution close this case???…I’m dumbfounded by this, but then again i could say that about virtually every aspect of this “investigation”…why would they say it’s “closed”??…at the very least, it should remain open until it’s solved…the case might grow cold but should never be labeled as closed…I can’t believe what the Holloway family has been subjected to, I can only imagine the heartache they feel with every false hope that comes out of Aruba…if the total litmus test of a crime lies only with producing a body then bravo to the big-3 suspects, because apparently they got away with murder….the 3 of them

    11. resolution on December 20th, 2007 10:30 pm

      it sure isn’t rocket science…

I’ve been watching the news…a lot lately..and I see how quickly the law in the US solves cases and arrests are made. It is unbelievable, to say the LEAST, how this tragic event in Aruba (from inception) has occured.

You should be ashamed Aruba! Don’t think we do not know what has happened. Hell, you do. If some of you are innocent victims of this travesty…then STAND UP & SAY SOMETHING! You can choose your choices, but you CANNOT choose the consequences!!!

    12. Peter on December 20th, 2007 10:35 pm

I am so pissed at the prosecution closing this case…why close it??..at the very least it should remain open til it’s solved…it may grow cold but never should be it be closed…if the total litmus test of a crime is simply whether a body can be produced then apparently the big-3 suspects got away with murder…but let’s not forget that these 3 LIED WHEN THEY WERE ASKED WHERE THEY DROPPED HER OFF THAT NIGHT…this means at the very least they are directly responsible for her fate or know who is…YOU DON’T LIE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO COVER SOMETHING UP…i can’t believe what the Holloway family has been subjected to, I can only imagine the heartache they must feel with every false hope that comes out of Aruba….and these dirtbags are still walking around, with moronic sympathizers like Greta giving the goon and his lawyer all the airtime they want in the name of TV ratings….incredible, just incredible…I hope I live long enough to see justice in this case…I used to vacation in Aruba but will never ever go back until they get this right…there must be a lot of people either implicated or petrified or both, given that no one ever made an attempt to grab the reward money.

    13. Richard on December 20th, 2007 11:10 pm

Anyone have any ideas on who this girl was to whom Joran spoke? Trust Aruba not to reveal what was said ….

And what in Hell is a “new technical interpretation” of the laptops? What needs to be interpreted?

I say again … the way things work in Aruba, the claim that one of the three stooges said in an Internet chat session that Natalee was dead leads me to believe that he knew she was taken off Aruba alive.

    14. deb on December 20th, 2007 11:38 pm

OUR FBI SHOULD KIDNAP THESE THREE AND USE WATERBOARDING TO GET ANSWERS; ALSO, THE GIRLFRIEND ON THE CALL AND PAULUS VDS. THIS WOULD BE MUCH MORE HUMANE THAN WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO NATALEE AND HER FAMILY

In the article on CNN.com, Mos does a fair job of deflecting the criticism of his role in this affair. He tries to lay out a case that they tried and just didn’t have the evidence, blah, blah… unfortunately, a lot of people will probably buy into his propaganda. They wont know about the indifference of authorities early on, the ineptness, the rudeness to family; they wont know about the cover-up. Encourage everyone you know to read Beth’s book – it’s an eye opener!

I am not diminishing how tragic and sad this case is but however, the fact that it is still being reported on now nearly two years after the incident occured is ridiculous. If the resources used in reporting this story were diverted to improving the police and security in these countries maybe these sort of things wouldn’t happen, but just reporting on it for two straight years wont solve anything. In the past two years there have most likely have been hundreds of thousands of other murders globally, none payed as much attention as this one, or really any at all. It just shows that the media nowadays are just vultures looking for stories in order to put something on television (or in FOX’s case diverting attention from the dire situation in Iraq). The fact of the matter is that there are 10,000 people dying daily from easily preventable dieses in Africa and getting paid absolutely zero attention. If the media reported more on the hundreds of thousands of people dying in Darfur, or the ten thousand people dying daily in Africa from preventable diesies, maybe the public will finally be able to push the government into acting. However, I hope by no means no one has misinterpreted me, because I beleive that this was an extremley tragic event not only considering that the victim was so young but that also she had a very promising future.

We need hollywood to make a tv movie of this case, then American tourism market in Aruba would dry up almost completely (yes I admit there are scummy americans and some would still go) unless they were finally willing to tell the truth.

I have suggested this previously and have been bombarded by trolls, so it must not be to bad of an idea.

Listen up dirty little rapists, your lives are over now as they have been since the day you decided to trick a very beautiful and innocent American girl. You will forever be made to suffer in the court of public opinion and we will not allow you to put this behind you not for one milisecond.

The girl is probably the woman, Betty, whom Deepak emailed at the very beginning of all this. She probably called him, or he called her, when he was obviously so upset about it all.

If they are supposedly turning over all the documents to the Holloway-Twitty families, that evidence and statement should be included, as well as, all the videos of the interrogations. The Holloway lawyer indicated that they have their own translator so they will not be depending on Aruban translations. If they indeed get the complete file (with absolutely no omissions), another True Crime book is bound to be written.

Also, you can bet the folks that analyze body language and speech patterns will be closely watching the Kalpoes at their news conference today. I hope O’Reilly gets his expert to comment on it. They may think they have been vindicated, but sooner or later, they will be judged for their sins.

IMO, the father is the most guilty of all. Those other sons must really be proud of what their father has done – we all know that kids grow up, they leave the house, they talk later in life when they can’t live with what they know about their fathers. Happens all the time. But, to have a time limit on when a murder can be investigated shows you just how backward and uncivilized this island is. We have had murders solved 20, 30 years after the crime was committed and had successful trials based on testimony from kids who later spoke out about what their fathers had done.

    28. brenda on December 21st, 2007 9:53 am

Respectfully…is anyone truly surprised at this outcome? I have been expecting such. Aruban officials are foolish enough to believe “this will all go away and the tourists return.”

I like the idea of making an American production company making a movie about what happened in Aruba based on what Natalee’s family will be given (the evidence).

What is clearest of all is the fact Paulus knew exactly what to do and who could help. I’ve always held the belief that Paulus told his “buddies in power” that the girl simply overdosed on her own and God knows what else (like Urin valiantly attempted to revive her or something else as retarded). Paulus’ “powerful” friends were not interested in asking any questions…hence what we have today.

I agree with you that there were adults who aided in the cover up who did not know the details of what they were covering. Paulus likely appealed to their contempt for women and or contempt for tourists combined with a fabricated account of “what happened” to gain the support of police and government officials in disposal of evidence.

Here’s your favourite Dutchy (living in the US) with the real facts.
      1) case not closed. Won’t expire either. With current evidence conviction would be unlikely which would cut off all possibility of future prosecution. Better wait till more evidence is found and have a better case to prosecute and actually convict. Sad but true, without body, weapon or confession no judge can convict. A jury maybe but there is no jury trial in Aruba.
      2) still detectives on the case.
      3) Aruba governemnt is independent from The Netherlands, allthough they do rely on agreed upon Dutch support as they can’t sustain themselves. The Dutch police and airforce only offered help after it bacome clear the Aruban authorities bothced the case.
      4) Arubans want to have the case solved too.
      5) I think Natalee is dead too. That does not make me a suspect I hope.
      6) If you boycot Unilever remember this: Slimfast, Ben & Jerries and much more of their products are being manufactured in the US. Targeting them hurts whatever is left of American manufacturing jobs. Do you rather eat poisonous stuff from China?
I HOPE THE EVIDENCE THAT IS NEEDED TO CONVICT WHOEVER DID IT WILL BE FOUND SOON SO JUSTICE CAN BE DONE. Very probable Sloot or Kalpoes but am not 100% certain which one(s) of the three.

About the Dutch Queen: yes she has German relatives (including her late husband). And her father in law, the late Prince Bernhard, was a member of the nazi party for just a short period of time, until he realized what they were really all about. When the Germans knocked on their doors in 1940 to ask for cooperation they said stuff you and went to London to lead the Dutch government and the resistance from there. Then in June 1944 Prince Bernhard returned to the mainland with a Dutch army brigade to actively fight the Germans. Not the queen’s fault we’re stuck with Aruba.

      MICHAEL M. BADEN, M.D.

Dr. Michael Baden is the former Chief Medical Examiner of New York City and is presently the chief forensic pathologist for the New York State Police. He received a B.S. Degree from the City College of New York and an M.D. Degree from New York University School of Medicine. In the chat, Mos told CNN’s Susan Candiotti, one of the suspects said, “The fact that she’s dead is not good,” referring to Holloway.
Other chats occurring before May 30 were also found, in which the suspects discussed “picking up American girls and what they plan to do with them,” Mos said. Such chats gave authorities an idea of how the suspects operated, he said.”

These evil pieces of fecal matter should be in prison. So I ask, with the above statement coming to light and Aruba’s refusal to prosecute J2K why would an American go to Aruba?

This is out today in the Shawn Hormbeck case:

ST. LOUIS – Michael Devlin received one final sentence Friday — 170 years — for making pornography of a boy he kidnapped and sexually assaulted.

Devlin is already serving multiple life terms for kidnapping and assaulting Shawn Hornbeck and another Missouri boy, Ben Ownby. This time around, a federal judge went well beyond the sentencing guideline of 30 years.

The sentence came on a guilty plea in October from Devlin to six counts of making pornographic photos and videotapes of Shawn, who was abducted at age 11 in 2001. Devlin was also sentenced Friday for taking Shawn across state lines on trips to Illinois and Arizona with the intent of sexually assaulting him.

The Associated Press generally does not identify victims of sexual assaults, but the identities of Devlin’s victims became widely known in the coverage of his arrest and prosecution.

Devlin, 42, was sentenced to multiple life sentences in October after admitting to crimes in Franklin, Washington and St. Louis counties connected to the abductions of Shawn and 13-year-old Ben Ownby in January. Both boys were found four days after Ben was abducted at Devlin’s apartment in the St. Louis County town of Kirkwood.

At the federal sentencing hearing Friday, Devlin appeared thinner, with a heavier beard. He showed no emotion, except for an occasional twitch of his shackled hands.

Shawn’s parents, Craig and Pam Akers, were at the hearing. Craig Akers appeared noticeably pained when Devlin’s attorney, Michael Kielty, told the judge that by pleading guilty, Devlin spared the boys and their families “the torture of going to trial.”

Authorities still haven’t determined where Devlin will serve his time. Missouri prison officials are so concerned about his safety because of the nature of his crimes that they have said he may be moved to an out-of-state prison or placed in protective custody. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Friday that prison officials may even provide him with a different identity.

Shawn was abducted while riding his bike near his home in the Washington County town of Richwoods. Ben was taken soon after getting off a school bus not far from his home in rural Franklin County.

A classmate of Ben’s noticed a white pickup truck speeding away. His description led police to Devlin, a former pizzeria manager.

Prosecutors have said Devlin tortured Shawn during his first days in captivity and made the boy promise not to flee to stay alive. Craig Akers has called it a “devil’s bargain” that kept Shawn under Devlin’s sway for more than four years, even after he had Internet and telephone access.

      (end of story)

So Missouri prison officials are worried about the safety of this animal … well, I hope that their worries are justified.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This kid was held captive for more than four years, even though he had telephone and Internet access.

Some kind of mind control was at work.

Is it impossible that something similar may have happened in the case of Natalee Holloway? And that she may still be in captivity?

    43. brie on December 21st, 2007 2:58 pm

I think Koen and Freddy also have a lot to do with this. They were at Joran’s apartment that night. And would of also had access to Joran’s computer.

Another one of Joran’s story is, they went to his house and he had sex with Natalee and then they went to the lighthouse. How did they get there? Then he left Natalee on the beach and called Deepak to pick him up. Things just don’t make sense. There’s more to this timeline than we know about.

    44. richard on December 21st, 2007 3:23 pm

That CNN story referred to above also says that one of the suspects was behaving very oddly the day after Natalee vanished. I believe that a teacher (unnamed) made this observation.

A lot of phone calls were being made by and to the unidentified suspect.

Anyone care to think that there was some checking around to make sure that Natalee was taken off Aruba, alive, and was delivered to … whoever, and wherever, she was to be sent … and that the delivery did take place, without interference?

Sure seems odd to me that if “only” the three suspects were involved, that all this calling around would be going on. After all, it would be as easy, or easier, for the three to meet up.

But not if a much bigger network was involved.

This is a great archived article on the drug trade in Aruba. 14% of Arubans regularly use illicit drugs. It is truly a drug infested island.

I am not sure if the boycott of tourism will hurt them. No one considered their great illicit drug smuggling trade as their #1 commerce.

It is obviously not a safe place to take your family, unless you are a drug dealer looking to do some business

We have a special GIFT for all the fans and those considering travel to ARUBA, curtesy of the Flying Dutchman and his 2 vultures. According to the OM:

“In the chat, Mos told CNN’s Susan Candiotti, one of the suspects said, “The fact that she’s dead is not good,” referring to Holloway. Other chats occurring before May 30 were also found, in which the suspects discussed “picking up American girls and what they plan to do with them,” Mos said. Such chats gave authorities an idea of how the suspects operated, he said.”

We are now requesting a transcript (exact words) that the suspects (who are no longer suspects) said. Specifically, in plain English (or we’ll get it properly translated) what they planned to do to AMERICAN girls, after picking up and drugging them.

We want and DEMAND to know EXACTLY what they said. No sense guessing 100% correctly…..we want it straight from the horses mouth. We want to send the passage to EVERY TV & radio station in America, every Senator, Congressman, Governor, every broadcast network, magagine publisher, travel agency, Church and Synagogue group, Boy & Girl Scout headquarters, Late night talk hosts, OPRAH, DR. Phil, State funded University & College in America, and the list is practically endless to post here. We will email, FAX and mail this detail if it takes months.

It WILL be done. ARUBA…we WILL break you. Not because the event happened, but because of what you didn’t do and who you didn’t punish for it.

      # 47,

Yes mam’am. Planned, forced gang rape is apparently not considered a crime in Aruba, it’s considered to be more of a “sport”, even by a suspects mother. Sorry, my mother never raised me to think of females as easy targets to overpower and violate. The world seems to allow SCUM to commit vile things to others and turn an eye. Aruba is such a place.

Yes indeed, these guys really have just what will make them really “attractive” and willing to the opposite sex: extra strong liquor, spiked drinks with drugs. Yes, brave males! Animals!

Richard…. I don’t think Natalee was turned over to someone to become a sex slave in another country…

That does not add up…because Joran and 2K’s knew they were seen as being the last ones with Natalee… so if their game plan was to sell her they would not have allowed themselves to be seen leaving with her in kalpoes car.

I think it was another drugging of an American girl and a rape that went wrong and Natalee died at their hands. After all they have met with girls twenty times before and nothing happened.

    51. nurturer on December 21st, 2007 6:21 pm

#45 – That is precisely why this island needs to be boycotted. It simply boils down to a public safety hazard.

Even if I believed the opposite, and thought Aruba was some paradise, the fact is I wouldn’t be able to let any female friend or acquaintence out of my sight.

To say nothing of what might end up in my OWN drink, just so the male threat (that would be me) could be removed from the plan of getting to that female.

“All three of them are suspected of the same criminal facts. According to Mos, it can be assumed that Natalee is dead. “We have sufficient indications to substantiate that.”

“Mos doesn’t go into details on the content of the evidence, but he says: “When we talk about new serious complaints, we then talk about indications and proofs that we obtained from a thorough investigation conducted by the Aruban police corps in cooperation with officials of the Dutch police. The investigation took place between March and June of this year and is currently being finished off. It turned out from the investigation that the dossier contained much more information than we could assume.”

June, July, August, September, October, November, December…very convenient that they cannot retain data evidence more then six months. IMHO

“Jordan van der Sloot’s lawyer in Aruba, Ariean de Bie said “I consider the entire operation as a desire to take a last action as part of the closing of the investigation.” He suspects that the case is concluded, but that the OM wants to see what’s left to effect with the arrests of Van der Sloot and his two Surinamese friends.
Dutch KLPD-detectives have investigated the case in Aruba, it seemed that a few months ago, also they would close that case as unsolved. They then expected the OM in Aruba to also close the case.”
      Amigoe.com
Aruba wants to have closure with this case.
The new evidence is pro the three suspects and the case will be closed in hopes that Aruba can move on. IMHO

Last year the OM agreed to close the case this year and that the suspects will know where they stand; thus they were in a hurry”, said Dompig. I believe that Paulus had Natalee cremated. Of course he had plenty of help, fromboth moneyed and politically powerful men. No one envivisoned the tenacity of Beth, the fall out(both economicaly and politically).the average people are suffering and want the criminals routed. I am in the Saint Louis region and would like to help with the boycott. Also maybe we could organize a prayer vigil, where people nation wide will pray for Naelee and her Mom.This would keep the case in the spot light, inaddition to seeking devine intercession,as the Prince of darkness seems to rule in Aruba.

      #44 Richard,

Since they all went to jump on their computers and phones to create an alabi the morning Natalee disappeared, they surely are aware the email, computer history, chats and phones would be checked. Who would know such things would be investigated, 17 year old kids or someone older? It points to the involvement of someone older at a very early point in the (planning) process. Further, even with the most excellent (corrupt) connections, I contend it would be difficult to get rid of Natalee’s body in the space of a few hours and do all the other things they were supposedly doing that morning. Has anyone ever put all the statements together and actually worked up a timeline?

The fact that PVDS said “no boy, no crime”, and his assurance the crime would be covered up would give J2K the courage to say about anything. Case in point: Joran’s very first words about explicit sex, etc. – what decent young man would say such things in the face of a missing girl’s parents? He knew he would get a pass, so who cares? This is no different. If they say “The fact that she’s dead is not good” and it throws everybody off the trail, so much the better, they knew they were not going to be prosecuted. All the questioning and arests were partly for show and partly for diversion. They wouldn’t have even had to go through that much if Beth hadn’t been so tenatious.

I don’t know if Natalee was sold or killed, but there are a lot of details that don’t add up and give rise to reasonable doubt.

    59. Pat in Alabama on December 22nd, 2007 12:00 pm

      ***

I’ll admit I’m not completely sold on the sex trade theory, but I do think it is possible.

J2K wouldn’t have a problem being seen with Natalee if their intention was to sell her, IMO, because there still would not be a crime scene if Natalee were handed off. She would just vanish.

      ****

      Thinking out loud….

Generally when people are kidnapped, the kidnappER couldn’t care less if anyone sees them taking the victim away. Of course, they look around to make sure the coast is pretty clear, but in the long run they know there is nothing anyone can do without finding a body or a crime scene. And in cases like with Joran who befriended Natalee and her friends, it’s a perfect situation- for obvious reasons-from which to kidnap a victim.

Now taking away a dead body is another story. For that you need something more clandestine. And that’s why I don’t think Natalee was disposed of in the ocean in a cage. I more believe she was taken away, dead or alive, in some situation that looked quite normal. And I think the key to solving this case lies in the movements of Paulus VDS and/or J2K and any of their associates in the days following May 29-AM 30, 2005.

Of course, the cops would be able to track cell phone and computer conversations. But what if any of the usual suspects had other phones or access to computers the cops didn’t know about? You know drug dealers use those TracPhone type throw-away phones for that very reason…so they can’t have their movements and conversations tracked.

Considering IF Joran openly kidnapped Natalee (didn’t try to hide he went off with her) for sinister reasons, he would not do so IF there was any chance Natalee was going to show back up and tell what he had done. This would imply he had plans to either kill her and a plan to get rid of the body, OR sell her. The only other reason he would not care if he were seen leaving with her would be if he had no more plans than to have sex with her and then something went haywire. But I personally don’t believe Joran took Natalee for himself.

My personal belief is that Joran wanted to go off with Ruth or Madison, but upon finding at CC’s they both had boyfriends on the island he settled on Natalee, asking her to find A date for 1K as well. Natalee did ask one of her classmates if she wanted to go with some guys she’d met (according to a classmate’s statement), but no one did so that left one girl and 3 guys.

But initially Joran was only looking for one other guy, so to me that impies when Joran ended up with 2K he needed an additional girl so he had Natalee go solict one of her friends. ONE! Now we have Joran with Flor (not to Natalee’s immediate knowledge), 1K with Natalee (not to her knowledge) and since Natalee couldn’t get one more girl, then 1K went home.

I believe Joran was going to hand Natalee over to 1K all along, the classmate she was asking to go with her was for the other K and Joran was going to be with Flor. I believe 1K was taken home because it was just Natalee and Flor. I believe Natalee was outraged when Flor entered the picture and she found herself with 1K (hence the alleged racist remarks). And I think it’s possible 1K was left on the beach with Natalee and the only reason Joran isn’t telling it is because he doesn’t want to involve Flor. And the K’s are using the fact that Joran seemed to be interested in Natalee for himself as a way to stay off the radar. And that is why none of the J2K team will rat each other out. They were all involved but not in the way they want anyone to know. They, in the beginning, didn’t want to ruin what Joran had going for his dark skinned boys…that he, by his own admittance, lured white girls for his dark skinned friends who the white Americans would not go off with. (pimped them)

Notice Joran said either Freddie or Jaime (can’t recall which one) didn’t care if he got turned down a hundred times by a white American…he’d just keep trying. Joran said this in context of his plan to get dates for his dark skinned friends under the pretense of his being their date. This is crucial and is not talked about!

I think Paulus and/or Joran went back to get Natalee after 1K left her somewhere because 1K didn’t know where Natalee was staying and she was ‘out’ and couldn’t tell him OR 1K dumped Natalee on the VDS doorstep. (Deepak said in one of his statements that he told Joran to wake Natalee up and ask her where she was staying. Joran did so and told him the HI, but that’s complete BS because Joran already knew where Natalee was staying. To me that remark by Deepak is telling that 1K was left alone with an ‘out of it’ Natalee and they didn’t know what to do with her.)And the only reason Paulus/and or Joran would have gone back to Natalee was self preservation because Joran was seen leaving with Natalee as her presumed date and Paulus knew it was illegal for a local to date a tourist and then not return them to their hotel. It’s considered kidnapping in Aruba!

So one might ask then, if it’s illegal and considered kidnapping not to return a tourist to their hotel, why is Joran not being charged? IMO, THey can’t charge him because they know the truth….that Joran was not the one who was last with her nor was he her date (even though Natalee thought he was) And they can’t get into it to get the K’s because it would implicate Paulus who ended up with a corpse on his hands, his son being indirectly if not directly involved in things.

I’m not beyond thinking Joran -and maybe Flor-helped hold Natalee down for 1K before running off leaving 1K with Natalee. And I do think Paulus got involved going to retreive her or having her laid on his doorstep, then got caught holding the bag. Paulus’ friends don’t want to procecute him because he was in their minds ‘only trying to help’ and they can’t procecute anyone because it would end up getting Paulus in the shits. That’s my current take.

God Bless Beth and Dave and all others in the world who have lost children or other loved ones to some horrific selfish act of some narcisstic asshole and a corrupt buddy system poor excuse for justice and humanity of any heart whatsoever!

All you assholes out there…please just stop this! It’s not hard to make better use of your time in this life than in taking time out of your life span to harm other people!

Last night on one of those newsy shows, someone said about Drew Peterson…Drew is laughing it up only because no one is close to knowing what he did with his wife. They suggested if one could follow him around and watch his face when it might go sour one might then know they were on the right track to finding Stacy Peterson.

Maybe someone could do the same with J2K and Paulus. In essence, take a look at what they joke about. These things are not the truth. Then look at what they avoid talking about. In that, I suspect one might find the right path to what became of Natalee.

That’s an interesting theory, although I believe Joran was involved in a much more direct way due to his acurate descriptions of Natalee’s underwear, etc. I believe it is possible they took her to a party where a lot of the names we have come to know passed her around.

Beyond that. I still have trouble accepting that all this cover-up is for J2K, and if Deepak did Natalee in by himself, Joran would sell him out in a minute and go scott free. There is too much sacrifice for Aruba, too many high priced lawyers, too many officials on someone’s payroll to believe that this isn’t very close to something much bigger.

#61 I agree very much with this post. If you look at the brazen things said, the similiar themes in all the smug statements, and then you look where they DON’T point, what do you come up with?

      Drug lords and helicopter pads…

    63. Richard on December 22nd, 2007 4:00 pm

The argument is made that Natalee wasn’t sold to someone or handed over for movement overseas because J2K, the last ones seen with her, wouldn’t want to be suspected.

You can turn that argument around equally well:
since they were the last ones seen with her, why would they risk facing drugging/kidnapping/rape charges? And possibly homicide and/or murder?

My point being, once again … I don’t believe that selling her or handing her over was premeditated (although it could have been, as a sheer sadistic step-up in the Pimps’ campaign of drugging and raping; the scum thought they were invincible).

I DO believe that Natalee was probably being assaulted by several of the animals, possibly with the knowledge and/or participation of Aruban girls, and that Freddy was filming away.

I DO believe she may have waked up before they expected, and wouldn’t have cooperated with them.

I DO believe that maybe Lorenzo, or maybe Paulus, or maybe some other slime in the “scene” realized that they had on their hands someone who wouldn’t be cowed (unlike the Aruban girls), and who was a beautiful, and valuable, property.

      Released, she was a liability.

Captive, she was a beautiful American girl (guess what? Caribbean drug dealers don’t think much of Americans), the prototypical Hollywood type (in my eyes at least), and a prize to win the good will of any drug dealer that they were in touch with.

      That’s my guess.

The ranks of the Pimps included a porn-film producer, a drug dealer … obviously they had contacts in the Caribbean criminal world.

And drug lords, I believe, aren’t noted for their kindly, humanitarian nature.

    64. Richard on December 22nd, 2007 4:02 pm

Is all Aruba covering up for PvdS? Come on … if he is so important, why didn’t he get the judgeship he wanted? Aruba has too much at stake to cover up for this bozo … and it would have a hell of a lot to GAIN by convicting him and the others and “solving” the Natalee case.

I’d like to see the “evidence” that van der Straaten had. Nobody on Aruba can solve the case (they say), and yet they all tell us, day in and day out, that they KNOW Natalee is dead.

Does it add up? Not to me.

Natalee was alleged to have told Deepak he had a beautiful car. I don’t see how anyone would think the Honda was beautiful, but Natalee might have thought the SUV was pretty neat. Was she swapped into this vehicle that night? More room in it for a 6ft 5in playa to get his game on in the backseat. And Satish was tall too and would need the extra space. And it does look large enough for 3…2 guys and one girl with room still to move about in the backseat.

Why hasn’t this photo of Deepak driving someone else’s vehicle been removed from the internet? Because someone would then ask Why bother unless it is indicative of some form of guilt.

Who’s vehicle was that? And was it pimped out with cameras?

I used Flor because Joran said he made a call to her sometime between 9:30 and 11 that night to see if she wanted to go out. She supposedly said no because her daddy wouldn’t let her go out on a school night. Later though she texted Joran and he texted her back or left her a VM about 3AM.

You know what? Come to think of it, if Flor was not actually Joran’s gf, yet he called her to go out that night, and since Joran said Natalee told him she was a Lesbian…..could Flor be a Lesbian? Invited for more erotic pics?

Disclaimer: I don’t buy that Natalee was a Lesbian, but the word coming up in this case might imply some girl on girl went on even if Natalee was not for it.

The truth is in the details.

I think Natalie Hollaway was buried in the sand dune. That is the most probability now instead of deep sea. Joran and Kalpoe brothers have committed the crime, no doubt, and buried her hastily beneath
the vast sand dune. There is no way they could procure a boat in such a short time without the notice of coast guards or anyone and dump her body
deep into the ocean. Now, as an experienced Geophysicist with U.S. oil companies, I will recommend 3-D seismic refraction survey of the whole sand dunes in the island and vicinity. I am sure by high-resolution 3-D seismic imaging whole
island’s sand dunes could be mapped in one day and if she is buried underneath, her image will be definitely come out in the computer after processing. I can bet on that ! Pl call me if you
have any question-My telephone is 281-568-3652.
Don’t rely on Texas aqua-search. They are not professionals in suubsurface imaging.

An earlier post suggested maybe a gang-rape occurred and was filmed, wasnt there mentioned in Daves book an isolated house(compound) well secured and fenced off, owned by a drug dealer, it was a party house with young girls freqenting it and photography equipment having been seen taken inside. I can hardly bring myself to type these words but has anyone considered “SNUFF MOVIE”!!! This would be the worst nightmare but somethin sinister is going on on that island!!!
