Isn’t this picture priceless, a boat in the waters of Aruba with a blue drum. Imagine the number of boats that are not caught.

Coastguard apprehends 12 illegal persons near Aruba

ORANJESTAD – Around 03:00 in the night of December 1, the cutter Panter of the Coastguard for the Neth.Antilles and Aruba noticed an unlit motorboat that had motor problems and was drifting.  When the Panter approached the boat, it turned out that the boat didn’t have valid registration papers.

There were 12 illegal persons with the Colombian nationality on board and two crew members from Venezuela.  The boat is towed to Barcadera.  The illegal persons were apprehended and handed over to IASA.  The two crew members were handed over to the Police Corps of Aruba.  (Amigoe, 12/3/07)

What’s in the blue drum—taking someone back to Venezuela?

    2. Vicki on December 5th, 2007 10:45 am

What the blank was in that blue drum????
EVERYONE ATTN go back to last thread on Natalee… I listed quite a few ppl to contact….
Prayers for Beth especially, she is hurting so bad right now. Please ask God to give her her baby back with TES being out there…

This is probably a show to prove that nothing goes in or out of Aruba waters unnoticed – er – except drugs, but certainly not a boat dumping a body. I heard someone from Aruba say radar would catch any boat going out…

I don’t trust anything these people say or do. I will never go there whether Natalee’s case is solved or not, and I will do all I can to influence others this way for their own safety. It will make me very happy if none of them ever to the US either.

    4. brie on December 5th, 2007 10:53 am

How many boats have gotten through…probably plenty

And Dompig issues them illegal driver licenses when they get there!!!!

Not only are they illegal but could be bringing alot of infectious diseases with them

Must be something most attractive in Aruba to those that are illegal

    5. brie on December 5th, 2007 11:17 am

Looks like the same blue drum that sits in the Kalpoes front yard

I guess blue drum’s are not hard to come by

    6. Scott on December 5th, 2007 11:36 am

A friend of mine works for the Office of Naval Intelligence and he told me for every one of those boats they catch, 10 more get through.

Remember that Gerald Dompig said they knew the whereabouts of EVERY boat in the waters the night that Natalee vanished … and so it was impossible that she could have been taken to Venezuela or elsewhere?

There’s only ONE impossibility in this case … that Aruba would tell the truth or be honest.

We’ll never hear another about this from Aruba

We already know you have boats coming and going from Venezuela all the time….and not necessarily at night. But if your trying to tell us how carefully your watching…forget it!

Probably another one of your stunts…how convenient for you, the boat just happened to have engine trouble and was drifting. So now tell us…what if a boat didn’t have engine trouble and wasn’t drifting, then I guess you wouldn’t know. What a pile!!! That’s like saying…”see mommy I’m reading the Bible…”. “Look at what a good job we doing patrolling…so who’d you borrow the boat from.

    22. Richard on December 5th, 2007 3:56 pm

Well, if Greta is right … let’s just hope there’s something on Joran Scum of the Ditch.

    23. Richard on December 5th, 2007 4:06 pm

I just read the transcript of JQ Kelly’s interview on the Greta show. His belief seems to be that there never was any “new evidence” to begin with.

I’m still hoping that the Dutch have something that they haven’t disclosed, but it’s increasingly hard to be optimistic.

So there are two things ahead: Joran’s hearing on Friday, and the decision by Dec. 31 whether anyone at all will be prosecuted.

Meanwhile, the water search is to start soon. If Natalee is in the water and can be found, let’s pray that she WILL be found.

That will give Aruba no alternative but to do something … at least, as far as I can see.
Even our own politicians will be forced by the wave of public fury to demand action.

If no body is found ….

    24. Melissa on December 5th, 2007 4:08 pm

To #8 – Do not forget to mention that one cannot walk down the streets of Aruba without getting bitten by a dog because there is SO SO much crime that everyone has to protect themselves with attack dogs, high walls and fences and alarm systems.

And when you get bitten – you will be blamed because you should not have been walking there????

    31. Richard on December 5th, 2007 7:34 pm

      Here’s something that I don’t quite get ….

In the early days (i.e., when news of the arrests and the “new evidence” had just come out), JQ Kelly said he thought that he knew what said “new evidence” was, and that it had something to do with information clearing jurisdictional boundaries. So, at least, is how I read him.

But in his interview with Greta vS, he seemed to say he thought that there was no new evidence, at all, or very little.

So what happened to his idea that he knew what the new info was, and his apparent belief that it was indeed important?

I’m not totally convinced that a media battle isn’t being waged here … with JQK talking DOWN the prospects for his client even as Tacapino talks UP the prospects for HIS client … that’s what lawyers do, isn’t it?

But it may well be a fading hope.

Let’s wait to see what happens Friday. It doesn’t look good, but I don’t know what may or may not be going on behind the scenes.

    32. Richard on December 5th, 2007 7:37 pm

Jerry from Ohio (#29) — It would be even better if, first, they (hell, bring the witch Anita too) could all be somehow lured or gotten off Aruba.

OK, here’s a question. Is there anyone reading here who honestly thinks that there is NOT a conspiracy among elements of the Aruban government and law enforcement … who thinks that the investigation was derailed early because of sheer, unbridled INCOMPETENCE and nothing else?

It would be interesting to know this. I don’t see how anyone can doubt the existence of a cover-up, but what do I know?

Natalee Holloway Case: Judge Denies Release Appeal

Last Edited: Wednesday, 05 Dec 2007, 2:56 PM CST
Created: Wednesday, 05 Dec 2007, 2:55 PM CST

ORANJESTAD, Aruba — A judge on Wednesday refused to overrule the release of two suspects in the 2005 disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway, the prosecutors’ office said.

The suspects, Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, were released from jail on Saturday after a judge ruled the evidence was not strong enough to continue holding them on suspicion of involvement in Holloway’s death.

Prosecutors challenged the decision at a closed session Tuesday, but were rebuffed by the court, said John Pauly, communications consultant for Aruba’s prosecutors’ office.

The Kalpoe brothers — Deepak is 24, Satish is 21 — were arrested for a third time in the case on Nov. 21 along with a third suspect, Joran van der Sloot, who remains in jail. Prosecutors said the latest arrests were justified by new evidence.

Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Ala., was last seen leaving a bar with the three suspects on May 30, 2005, hours before she was scheduled to return home with fellow high school classmates celebrating their graduation on this Caribbean island. She was 18 at the time.

All three have denied any role in the disappearance.

Denial of pretrial detention of S.K. and D.K. in the case of Natalee Holloway upheld by Court of Appeal

Today, December 5th, 2007, the Court of Appeal for the Dutch Antilles and Aruba upheld the decision of the judge of instruction not to order pretrial detention of the brothers S.K. and D.K. Last Monday the Public Prosecutor had lodged an appeal against the judge’s decision of Friday, November 30th. Yesterday the appeal was heard by the Court in camera. The S.K. and D.K. brothers appeared at the hearing, assisted by a number of lawyers. The hearing took two hours. During the hearing the acting Attorney-General presented the objections of the Public Prosecutions office against the denial decision of the judge of instruction. The lawyers of the suspects presented their views. At the closing of the hearing the Court announced the Court’s decision for today.

In its essence the reasoning of the Court reads as follows: notwithstanding an extensive and lengthy investigation the case file against the brothers S.K. and D.K. does not contain direct indications that Natalee Holloway has died as a result of a violent crime against her. Equally the case file does not contain direct indications of the suspects’ involvement in a violent crime against Natalee. Also taking into account the actual phase of the investigation – 2_ years after her being missing – the Court does not see sufficient facts and circumstances substantiating serious grounds for the suspicion of the suspects’ involvement in the crimes for which pre-trial detention has been requested by the Public Prosecutor (which is manslaughter or battery/assault causing death).

This judgment of the Court is the final judgment on the pretrial detention issue of the brothers S.K. and D.K. : the law does not provide for further appeals. In itself the decision does not preclude further investigation and prosecution.

The investigation is being continued by the police under the authority of the Public Prosecutor.

The hearing for the pretrial detention of J.v.d.S. will be held Thursday December 6th..

Jerry from Ohio (#46) … I’d be inclined to give mercy to the first ones who confessed. That’s the incentive to get confessions.

But as far as I’m concerned, after reading what our good friend Yoyo posted in #48, my immediate inclination is to eliminate them all.

Sorry, I’ve been drinking a bit … but the emotional impact of the prospect of the prolonged saga winding to an end with the scum of Aruba still free and not held to account is mounting.

I wonder if Nelson Oduber will dare go overseas.

Seems like most everything we have been told by the perverts is generally related to Natalee hit her head. Except for the lie about about running away.

We dropped her off at the Holiday Inn and she fell getting out of the car and hit her head.

She fell in the water and hit her head and drowned
And Joran says he feed her to the sharks. So he confessed this to his father while visiting friends in GA and they told someone who reported it to the FBI. And also told the headmaster at school the same story.

She fell on the beach and hit her head on something.

They could of easily injured Natalee’s head but say she fell in case she’s ever found.

She was also robbed of her personal belongings. Her purse, money, credit cards, debit card, the jewelry she was wearing. This is trivial compared to loosing her life. But it is still another thing they did to her.

If you look at the wording of this text as provided by Yoyo, it is pretty obvious they are lining up to finish this up once and for all and let them go for lack of evidence. They probably hope that after an initial backlash, tourists will forget about it and come back.I am praying for God to even the score with all these evil people.

You can also email them..www.netherlands-embassy.org…it wont do any good…the idiot Leonia said that OUR COUNTRY SHOULD DO SOMETHING…I say drop a freakin bomb on that VOLCANIC ASHE.I am so sick of this…

    61. brie on December 6th, 2007 10:37 am

14 people in that little boat…if it even happened… the engine quit because of overload….surprised it didn’t sink, but I think it was all a farce…it took place way too conveniently…

    62. brie on December 6th, 2007 10:51 am

#56…Yeah Libby, hang ‘em by their balls, that should make some noise…and when we’re done with that, put ‘em the blue drum and dump in the sea with weights.

    63. brie on December 6th, 2007 11:13 am

You know….minutes before the cruise ship leaves Aruba with it’s next stop in Caracas, Venezuela….you see drums and containers being loaded onto the ship…there is no one else around, the dock is deserted except for those few putting these things on the ship. Wonder what was in them…what could they have needed from Aruba…just a thought!

    64. brie on December 6th, 2007 11:33 am

Why the cruise ships go to Venezuela…I don’t know…it was completely frightening and very uncomfortable….garbage and trash hanging from above wiring of some type….people living in the side of a mountain with a back wall of mud and they work for bricks to build the sides of their cave. A piece of tin for the roof, if your lucky enough to have one, hundreds of people. There is no electricity, no running water and no toilets. Then as the tour bus moves down the hill the military is running with rifles shooting at someone. When we get into the town, the military is in full uniform with loaded rifles standing on top of the buildings. A few of the homes, those that have any money, have brick walls or fences with wiring enclosing their home full of electricity.

    65. brie on December 6th, 2007 11:36 am

And besides that…there wasn’t a bathroom on the bus…which most of desperately needed…so my advice would be…do not take a cruise in the direction of Aruba or South America…you’ll be sorry!

    66. brie on December 6th, 2007 12:15 pm

Vicki, thanks for all your efforts…Ok our country should do not something….you cannot re-enter the US from Aruba unless quarantined with complete testing, physicals and the assurance that known diseases are not brought back to the US.

I also have more diseases and descriptions for our readers…I will post those a little later

I am wound up this morning…so off to the gym…hope they don’t have to replace their equipment!!!

Brie, Amy Bradley was LAST seen in the company of a member of the ship’s crew in the disco, at a time when it was closed to the public. This happened just about as her cruise ship was docking at Curacao, one night after it was docked in Aruba. (Members of the crew tried to take her to Carlos ‘n’ Charlies, but she wasn’t interested.)

A passenger in the bar below the disco saw the crew member and Amy go up the stairs to the DJ’s booth, which was secluded. The crew member came down the stairs for ONE drink, then went back up.

Shortly thereafter, the lights up there were turned off and the music was turned up … very loud.

From the DJ booth, a freight elevator went to all parts of the ship, including areas below decks where passengers don’t go.

It’s known beyond dispute that cruise ships are often used to move drugs from one place to another. The belief is that Amy was drugged, perhaps bound and gagged, and put in some kind of box or other parcel that had to be moved ashore.

When cruise ships make port, all sorts of stuff is offloaded and brought on. Trash has to be disposed of. Supplies have to be moved, etc.

      And nobody inspects these.

If matters were pre-arranged, she could have been offloaded and handed over to someone.

Of course, we know that human trafficking is a myth. Even so, the photographs unveiled on the Dr. Phil show are very probably those of Amy Bradley.

I doubt that Natalee was put ON a cruise ship … but a private airplane, if not a boat, could have taken her off Aruba with no trouble at all, no matter what Dompig said.

BTW, in my remarks about “mercy” above … what I meant was, those who cooperate might get it. Those who don’t, won’t. The incentive is to get the first rat to squeal.

      Libby:
I start the torture between their legs though and work my way up.

      Vice-Grips… does a body good.

      Nutcracka Shweet, baby. -j4n

    69. Libby on December 6th, 2007 4:00 pm

Carpe…you read my mind…I was thinking the same thing….vice grips or a nut cracker. Too funny.

I really hope they get what they deserve…if not within the law…outside the law. If outside the law, I hope they have 10 times the pain and suffering Natalee had. I hope Anita and maybe even Nadira have to watch as morbid as that sounds. Then, perhaps they might comprehend the pain and suffering inflicted on Natalee, her family and her friends.

I have so much respect for Dave and Beth.

I wonder if there is any possibility of the Dutch refusing to admit Joran vd Scum back into the country if he is released? Can’t imagine it … but who knows. Let the bastard spend the rest of his days on Aruba.

    71. Dolf on December 7th, 2007 4:01 am

      @70 Richard.

Why would we not let him in if he is not convicted?
(IF he is convicted he will be prob. shipped back any way to do his time in a Dutch jail).

Would the US not let back a citizen who was accused abroad but not convicted?

@Brie…all the diseases they you named are everywhere in the world..also in the US.

    72. Dolf on December 7th, 2007 7:20 am
    73. Richard on December 7th, 2007 9:57 am

Dolf, I agree that there would seem to be scant grounds for barring a Dutch citizen from his own country without legal grounds to do so.

      But who knows?

Anyway, you’re welcome to Joran van der Sloot if you want him … I’m sure he’ll fit right in with Dutch culture. Maybe he’ll be your citizen of the year.

    74. Dolf on December 7th, 2007 11:08 am

      ;p nice smear attempt.

shows how much you about foreign culture (but from US ppl we do not expect that).

But you can have him in a US jail, we Dutch ppl think our jails are to soft on our convicts anyway (no mass rapings, murders, gangs in our jails).

But we hope that they find Natalees body (if she is dead) so she can get a decent burial and that they throw the perps in jail. Nobody here gives a sh*t about Joran and/or Aruba

Maybe good for the US citizen of the year.

Natalees friends who let her get in a car (drunk or not drunk) with strangers alone and didn’t even bother to check to see if she was back.

Every1 who travels will tell you that is never a good idea.

Now its almost weekend and I got my wedding to arrange (on 9/11/08) and no Aruba is not on my list, not because of what happened but more because its just a big rock with nothing to do except gamble and drink.

    75. micheal on December 9th, 2007 4:42 am

what about the 12 dutch soldiers that have died in afganistan so far?should we boycot the usa for their deaths?after all it is your war..how dare you even mention to boycott holland when you dont even remember the sacrifices our troops are making for YOUR STUPID AND POINTLESS WAR.
      ________
SM , of yes … that stupid a$$ pointless war where Islamofascits kill people in “Old Europe” all the time. Where you people have turned a blind eye and thought it would just all go away. Be very careful what one deemd pointless.

    76. micheal on December 9th, 2007 4:48 am

how can you drag arubas name in the mud with lies and hate when the main suspects arent even arubian???!!!! you can drink tap water not like you can do in the states …our water is distilled from the sea safest in the worls after dubai …so please chek out your fact stop making fools of yourselves ..
      ___________
SM: Where did the crime occur? DAH! If a similar crime occured in the US and the suspects were not from the US, the same conditions would take place.

You elect Aruban officials … this is on you.

    77. Carpe Noctem on December 9th, 2007 5:59 am

Screw bringin’ his arse to the US. Who’d
want to spend tax dollars on the three
amigos, and the murder consultant, Paulus
      Van der sloot?

Stick 3 in him, and bury him in Anita’s
garden with a daffodil stickin’ out of his
      a$$.

Read my lips, someone’s gonna SMOKE HIM.

LYING, MISOGYNISTIC, PIECE OF CAT DIRT.

    78. micheal on December 9th, 2007 11:24 pm

this has nothing to do with the same conditions you people are just being racist …i share your same views on the war but you guys drag our name in the mud for 3 stupid people who for all i care should be executed for lying god i wonder how much worse you people would be smearing us if the island population was black like the rest of the caribean we woudnt hear the end of it …and carpe noctem no 1 is going to smoke them here …in the us maybe cuz of your rampant gun crime but not here doesnt happen if it did it would have happend the day she dissapeared

    79. micheal on December 9th, 2007 11:30 pm

and i my uncle is in afganistan you know why i call it stupid and pointless war?!!cuz those islamist fight in civilian clothes if theyd be wearing uniform so our boys know who is who this war would have been over a long time ago ..of coarse they are saying that we are killing so many civilians if all the taliban wear civilian clothing..if we bombr a biulding and the next day we hear 10 villagers were killed we woudnt be able to tell the difrence now would we?i mean look how fast saddams army fell in dessert storm …if those terrorists fought like real soldiers they would have lost the war

    80. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:24 am

i respect all your opinions exept the ones that makes stuff up as they go along without even stepping a foot on the island…like the moderator said you may bash aruba as much as you want thats why theres this website dedicated to bashing such a small island but please do not make up lies …the reason why our local police havent figured this case yet out yet has nothing to do with a cover up ..weve never had this happen to the island before ..jossy was telling the truth about this being the first time if there was a cover up the dutch detectives invloved would have found out

    81. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:28 am

and lets say the dutch were involved in a cover up dont you think the fbi that was involved in this investigation would have raised a flag about that…why would the dutch cover it up and send 3 f16 s to the island with its dc10 for refueling?

    82. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:34 am

and for those illegals coming in to aruba you have the same problem and why do you think theyre all jumping ship from theyre country to ours?becuase we have the highest living standard in the carribean believe it or not…we have the same feelings you have over the mexicans jumping your border …so you really think we apreciate those people ?coming here and not wanting to learn a sinlge word of dutch or the local language that nearly similar to theirsdo you think its nice seeing a colombian getting a dutch passport without even knowing a word of the dutch language?

    83. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:41 am

now for those who critisize our laws we cant help it cuz we fall under the kingdom of the netherlands so go and spill our rage to them we obide by their laws
…any of you ever been to singapore?ive lived in singapore for 8 years ..do any of you know what the penalty for drug traficking is in singapore ?death..how i wish the dutch could bring that law in effect..but they wont cuz holland itself is infested with drugs …

    84. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:51 am

i feel sad becuase i am joining the dutch marines next year and i want to be posted with my uncle in afganistan along with the rest of the dutch troops but after ive read on here has got me thinking…this is what the people that i call an ally think about my small island..and yet im willing to sacrifice my self so that the rest of our coalitoin troops woudnt have to die for nothing..you shoudnt insult us like that without even havent talked to a local about the case…most of what ive read here is so wrong so bias and just plain racist ..

    85. micheal on December 10th, 2007 12:56 am

joran and those kalpoe brothers arent event arubian not even local and you act as if those three idiots represent our entire island..nomater how much hate you have for aruba thats just wrong ..we hardly have an robberies and the ones that do happens are always by colombian imigrants that spread voilence like a disease like you have problems with the mexicans….i wish you people would understand our feelings towards these people before callinf us the criminals …

    86. ruud on January 27th, 2008 5:52 pm

The U.S.A.is a paradise everything is going right, only some little problems what’s happening every day, like killing, steeling, kidnapping and a lot of other ilegal things.I’m happy to live on Aruba.
