Dana Pretzer makes a very valid point. While I applaud Greta Van Sustern for also keeping this story in the limelight—we all know that “FOX NEWS” makes it’s living and headlines on sensationalisim.

What Dana said is true~~ This case has been going on far too long to have a media personality jeapordize the Prosecuter’s case at this crucial point.

      Duly noted.

Just curious. Dana said “Defense attorney”. I thought Van Sustern was a prosecutor. Or, perhaps that’s what he meant to say.

SM: From the FOX bio of Greta. I believe she was a Defense Attorney:

Van Susteren has represented various clients in civil and criminal cases during her career as a trial attorney. In addition to arguing cases in federal appellate courts and state supreme courts, she is the author of a chapter on witness and client representation in “Federal Enforcement 1992: Defense Strategies for Winning White Collar Trial.”

      She never was a prosecutor

I think that after her earlier comment that she was inclined to believe Joran, Greta vS and other TV “celebrities” would do well to try to report the facts accurately, with a minimum of hype and self-acclamation, and keep opinions to themselves.

There once was a time when newspeople were supposed to concentrate on the stories, not on their own reactions to them.

Then again, there was a time when newspeople were not supposed to be hyping themselves. No wonder there’s an increasing disregard of the mainstream media … it’s succumbed to the world of Hollywood.

Hey, her voice grates on me anyway, so to hear less would be the antidote.

But I am curious . . . when was the last time she defended the suspects, apart from her comments about Joran?

“If I Was The Prosecuting Attorney In The Natalee Holloway Case””

I would not charge J2K with manslaughter because there is no evidence, witnesses , crime scene , body or DNA evidence.

I would charge them with Kidnapping as at least they have witnesses seeing her leaving with J2k and witnesses verifying her sobriety.

They have a better shot at making those charges stick than a murder rap and it leaves J2K with the burden of proof. “Where is Natalee”?
