Ex-President Bill Clinton was Against the Iraq War … Really? Bill Clinton Rewrites History

I was for it, before I was against it … sound familiar?Vanderbiltlegcywoes

Chalk another one up to revisionist history of the Bill Clinton White House. This is the baggage that Hillary Clinton must deal with as Barack Obama gains ground.  Did people forget the term “Clinton fatigue”? If not, by the time the primaries get started, you will.

That was then:

“I supported the President when he asked the Congress for authority to stand up against weapons of mass destruction in Iraq,” said Clinton in 2003 while delivering commencement remarks at Tougaloo College in Jackson, Miss.

This is now:

Former President Bill Clinton portrayed himself as having been against the Iraq war “from the beginning” while campaigning Tuesday for his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, in Iowa.

“Even though I approved of Afghanistan and opposed Iraq from the beginning,” said Clinton, “I still resent that I was not asked or given the opportunity to support those soldiers.”

Clinton has long been critical of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq and called it a “big mistake” as far back as November of 2005.

But like his wife, the former president supported giving President Bush the authority needed to go to war.

Others questioning the comments stating, We’re in the era of instantaneous fact checks.

They say that two are better than one … but I don’t think the saying applies to the Clintons.

Some years back, when I was in England, I put up for the night at a London bed-and-breakfast.

The next morning, the landlady told me in hushed tones that the other guy sitting at the breakfast table was a cousin of Bill Clinton’s, and indeed there was a kind of resemblance.

The cousin nodded to me and said, “Hey, I don’t like him either.”

      True story.

Two incidents came to mind when I heard this today

” I Did not have sex with that woman”
He rewrote what a sexual encounter was.

” It depends on what the meaning of IS is?”
      He rewrites verbage”

Why’d you think he got the name Slick Willy.
I cannot think of a couple that deserves each other more. Hil/Bil

Thank God that America is starting to com to it’s senses concerning Hillary.

The Clintons are vile and despicable people.
