Scared Monkeys Turns 10,000,000 … Thank you to all our Readers, Listeners & Commenters

Scared Monkeys.com gets its 10,000,000th visitor.

THANK YOU!

We would like to thank all that made it possible. We thank those that come to SM to read, listen, comment and take part in heated, yet hopefully respectful debate. No one wants to live in a vacuum. Even though the internet has become more and more polarized, respectful opinions are always welcome. However, as just a reminder … hate is not an opinion.

Since we first started blogging on Scared Monkeys in February 2005 we have covered an array of stories from politics to missing persons, illegal immigration to true crimes, from Terri Schiavo to Natalee Holloway and all things in between. There have been changes and innovations along the journey.  We are most proud of the fact that there have also been many instances where people and families have been served by the actions of this site.

There is always a brand of humor on Scared Monkeys that occurs as well as its always important to remember laughter. Some times a point is best made through a picture or through sarcasm.

Thank you all … and now back to blogging.

Funny, Red, I never thought you looked that old …. OK, enough corny jokes.

Despite the breadth of this blog, my belief is that it is most famous for its commitment to the family of Natalee Holloway. And, thereby, to all Americans and people everywhere who believe in justice, and who are willing to stand up for it in the face of the deceitful and dishonest government and law enforcement of Aruba.

Let this be a message to them: Don’t think that our devotion, our determination, or our outcry against you will ease. It won’t.

No justice for Natalee … no tourists for Aruba.

Boycott the place as if your life depended on it.

And as long as the boycott is necessary, and moral (which it is, fully, in my opinion), I hope that Scared Monkeys will remain the key forum.

      Congratulations!

It’s nice to know there are people, like you, that are here for those that go missing; supporting the families of children that are kidnapped, abused and murdered in this country, as well as abroad. But the best thing about Scared Monkeys is it’s ability to draw people together when there is a crisis, like that in Vermont, last year; keeping people informed and being an outlet for friends and family. To me, that is what Scared Monkeys is all about.

While they are famous for their support of the Holloways in seeking justice for Natalee, our thoughts and prayers are still with the family of Michelle Gardner-Quinn, as well as, countless others that have reached out for help and used what Scared Monkeys has to offer to their benefit.

That is what I believe we’re here for, more than anything: To support families in times of crisis; help in supplying search information and where possible participate in those searches, as well. So get the word out, Scared Monkeys is here to help… all you have to do is ask.
