Kids, Guns, Death and Consequences … What is Going on with Our Youth in Today’s Society? (UPDATE: YouTube Massacre Killing)
There are two real lessens that all teens need to learn and understand. There are consequences to your actions and life is so short and precious. Of course there are many adults that could learn that lesson as well.
What is going on with children in today’s society where life seems to mean so little? Just yesterday we were presented with a student who shot himself outside a gym at his New Orleans suburb private school. The case was an attempted suicide, unlike the other school rampage shootings that have occurred recently.
Then we have the case where a 16 year old teen, Cory Ryder, actually hired a hitman to kill his parents because he was punished for poor grades by having his PlayStation confiscated and was banned from watching TV. Are you kidding!

Rosie O’Donnell on MSNBC? Must “Seeth”TV … What a Joke! (Update: No Rosie NSNBC Show)
Rosie O’Donnell on MSNBC as a week night talk show host? That’s the scoop.
What is NBC thinking? A comedian on a news talk network. Is it any wonder why MSNBC has become nothing more than a third rate network joke. MSNBC is going to have as a news talk show host a woman who believes that World Trade Center Seven was imploded by controlled demolition and that 911 inside job. What a joke …
MSNBC’s new nightly slogan … “Must See Liberal TV”. I believe that all points of view should be allowed and offered to the public. However, “mean” is not a point of view. With the staying power that Rosie has shown in the past, let us make a prediction. She will get the gig, she will be the liberal darling media sensation and then flame out like she has down so often in the past taking what was left of MSNBC down with her.
O’Donnell might get the 9 p.m. slot that would put her up against Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” and CNN’s “Larry King Live.”
News of the talks was first reported in the New York Times.
“It’s far from a done deal,” said an executive familiar with some of the discussions. Money apparently is one of the sticking points.
Ankle Biting Pundits asks two very good questions if Rosie is hired by MSNBC:
Texas EquuSearch Joins the Search for Missing Stacy Peterson in Bolingbrook, IL … They Need Your Help
TES and the Family of Stacy Peterson needs your Help
Tim Miller and the volunteers of Texas EquuSearch have joined the search to help find missing Stacy Peterson. The family of Stacy Peterson contacted TES, the non-profit search organization, in an effort to help find their missing loved one. Stacy Ann Peterson has been missing since 10/28/07.
Speaking with Tim Miller this evening he asked that anyone in the Bolingbrook, IL come out and help search and also take part in helping out with the Command Center located at the Westbrook Christian Church in Bolingbrook.
The command center for the Texas EquuSearch team will be the Westbrook Christian Church at 1175 Lily Cache Lane in Bolingbrook. All search volunteers for tomorrow need to be there at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow
Stacy Peterson - search update 11/05/07
Cassandra Cales, Stacy’s sister, contacted EquuSearch and asked for the national organization’s help, said Cindy Wisdom, case manager for the not-for-profit group founded in 2000 to help authorities find missing people.
“We don’t enter a case unless family or law enforcement contacts us, and we don’t move forward with a case unless law enforcement agrees to work with us,” Wisdom said, adding the group has opened cases on more than 800 missing people and found 300—and the remains of 76 others. “The idea is to bring home missing persons, dead or alive.” (Chicago Tribune)
Texas search team to help in Peterson case
Meanwhile, representatives from The Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team, an all-volunteer group with resources that include divers, helicopters, dog teams, horses and foot teams, were set to help in the search.
Family friend Bruce Zidarich said Peterson’s relatives had reached out to the group last week, and they had agreed to help.

Amanda Reagan Smith, Mother of Devon Epps’s Arrested for the Murder of her Son
Amanda Reagan Smith, the mother of murdered 7 year old Devon Epps’s has been arrested by police in Greenville County, SC and charged with Devon’s murder. Well I can’t say we are too surprised to hear this news, only glad that it has finally occurred. Since first reporting on the death of Devon Epps and the rather bizarre tale told by Amanda Smith, it was rather obvious that her story did not pass the smell test. Some how a knife wielding carjacker uses a pillow to kill, hey right.
Smith told investigators that a carjacker, armed with a knife, attacked her and Devon near White Horse Road back on August 12th. The young mother said she was forced to watch as the attacker smothered Devon with a pillow.
(Amanda Reagan Smith & other interesting pics and info from Rapid Eye Reality)
Nearly three months after Devon Epps was murdered and Amanda Reagan Smith told police that her son was murdered by a carjacker, she was arrested and charged with murder. What another senseless and tragic act of a life taken far too young by the acts of a selfish individual. We are glad to see justice served … JUSTICE FOR DEVON.
