Islamophobia … The Greatest Form of Terrorism … Doubt it!

File this one under, now I have heard it all … Foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference commented that the gravest terrorist threat in the world today is Islamophobia. Who needs to misrepresent Islam, its there every day on the world stage for people to see.

The ministers described Islamophobia as a deliberate defamation of Islam and discrimination and intolerance against Muslims. They accused Western media of misrepresenting Islam and Muslims worldwide, according to a report in Arab News. (Fox News)

Because we all know and have seen by the actual actions of those in the Middle East that Islam is a religion of peace. Read the Arab News article and try not to start laughing at the premise of the argument. The momentum of “Islamophobia” increased after each incident of actual violent crimes by Muslims.

“The increasingly negative political and media discourse targeting Muslims and Islam in the United States and Europe has made things all the more difficult,” the foreign ministers said. “Islamophobia became a source of concern, especially after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, but the phenomenon was already there in Western societies in one form or the other,” they pointed out. “It gained further momentum after the Madrid and London bombings. The killing of Dutch film director Theo van Gogh in 2004 was used in a wicked manner by certain quarters to stir up a frenzy against Muslims,” the ministers pointed out. Van Gogh had made a controversial film about Muslim culture.

The Bush-Kennedy Illegal Alien Amnesty … What a Colossal Nightmare

Amnesty by any other name is amnesty. Spin it, stir it mix it in a pot and its still Amnesty for Illegal Aliens. Who the hell in their right mind co-sponsors and agrees with any bill that the senor liberal Senator, Ted Kennedy, from Massachusetts would put forth? There is a reason why in many cases compromise represents nothing more than pure crap. In this case the “Amnesty Compromise” represents nothing more than a sell out of all principles that made this country great. Move over rule if law, its all about illegals feelings. Good grief.

The Bush administration and a bipartisan group of senators reached agreement yesterday on a sprawling overhaul of the nation’s immigration laws that would bring an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants out of society’s shadows while stiffening border protections and cracking down on employers of undocumented workers.

What the hell is GWB thinking? OK Democrats, you have been stating that you wanted to impeach him, go to it. Like they are every going to leave once they are here. GEEZ. Its one thing to have a guest worker program … but how in the hell are these people who came into this country illegally being given a chance for US citizenship? What country allows people who overstay their visas to actually benefit and be rewarded with citizenship. This is absolutely insane.

The Senate deal would grant temporary legal status to virtually all illegal immigrants in the country, while allowing them to apply for residence visas and eventual citizenship. A temporary-worker program would allow as many as 400,000 migrants into the country each year, but they would have to leave after two years.

WTF … Who honesty believes this nonsense? This has to be one of the most naive and juvenile bills ever out forth.

Bush called it “a much-needed solution to the problem of illegal immigration in this country” and said, if approved, the proposal “delivers an immigration system that is secure, productive, orderly and fair.”

What Happens When The Anesthesia Does Not Work

This story makes my toes curl. A woman having eye surgery can feel everything that the doctor is doing but can not move or let him know. That is what happened to Carol Weihrer during surgery as the anesthesia coursing through her bloodstream felt like fire, he body is paralyzed, and she can only feel not respond.

The poor lady.

I was in the worst terror I have been in in my life,” Weihrer said. “I wanted to die.” She was having surgery to remove her diseased right eye — when things went terribly wrong. “Suddenly I heard the surgeon say ‘cut deeper, pull harder’ to the resident and it occurred to me that something here was not right,” Weihrer said.

And indeed it wasn’t. “And I realized suddenly I was awake and that they were not done,” she said.

Carol was experiencing a rare, but horrifying surgical nightmare called “anesthesia awareness.” She was awake, but paralyzed. The general anesthesia wasn’t working. “I was beginning to realize I was paralyzed,” she said. “But I can move a finger. Nothing. Try a toe. Nothing. A foot, a hand. My head…”

Earth to Democrats … As President you Represent all the People, Not the Liberals & Networks that Agree with You

Yet another reason why to never vote for a Democrat to be President …

One has to really wonder about any of the Democratic candidates seeking the office of the President of the United States. How cowardice and gutless could a collective group of Democrats be but to only debate on liberal networks like CNN, MSNBC/NBC and CBS. Isn’t that rather convenient? Or one might say even more pathetic.

The Democratic National Committee has officially announced “the dates, media sponsors and cities for the six DNC sanctioned debates.”

CNN and NBC get two and ABC and CBS get one each. Fox News isn’t included. Here’s the list:

• July 23, 2007: YouTube/Google and CNN in Charleston, SC
• August 19, 2007: ABC in Des Moines, IA
• September 26, 2007: NBC News/MSNBC in Hanover, NH
• October 30, 2007: NBC News/MSNBC in Philadelphia, PA
• November 15, 2007: CNN in Las Vegas, NV
• December 10, 2007: CBS in Los Angeles, CA

Individuals like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards and alike would dare ask for this countries collective  vote, yet actually be too scared to debate on Fox News.   Instead they only debate on a user friendly network. Presidential candidates  scared to debate on a network where the Democrats are afraid they may be asked too difficult a question. By default all of these Democratic candidates are too gutless to hold the office of the President of the United States. A President does not just govern one parties people, he/she governs them all.

How is it that Republicans have no problem having their debates on the liberal alphabet networks, most recently MSNBC. Think of the folly, Democrats afraid of the big, bad wolf “FOX News”,yet Republicans had to put up with uber-libs  Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann.    However, Democrats flee like rats off a ship from a debate hosted by Fox. What a sad and pathetic state of affairs when one is too afraid to debate and answer difficult questions. If a candidate cannot even consider facing difficult questions against what is perceived to be a hostile network, one certainly should never even contemplate running for President. Being the leader of the free world hardly means having softballs thrown at you in a post 9-11 world. As Wizbang states, “And we’re supposed to trust these guys to protect us from Islamofascism? Right. The Democrats are a complete joke”.

The Democrats and the MSM liberal networks can comment all they want about President Bush’s 33% approval rating; however, the Democratically controlled Congress’ approval rating is at 29%.

Even though Democrats now control both houses of Congress, the poll shows that only 37% of Democrats approve of the job Congress is doing right now.

“The Democrats are spoiled like rotten kids, and the Republicans are invited to sleep on a bed of nails — and do so willingly”.

Keep up the great work Dems, 2008 is right around the corner and the electorate can once again right the wrong they made in 2006 due to the lies they were fed by Democratic leaders and place Dems back into the minority. If a party is not willing to even face difficult questions, they certainly should never be given the responsibility of majority leadership of a country, let alone the Presidency.
