Dana – Thank you for asking Jossy those questions; klaas emailed them to you for me.

From what Jossy seemed to be saying, a way to help him is to contact:

      Inter American Press Association:

      Jules Dubois Building
      1801 S.W. 3rd Avenue
      Miami, Florida 33129
      Tel: (305) 634-2465
      Fax: (305) 635-2272

Contact Us gives you an email form.)

Here is my email to them:

Jossy Mansur’s Aruba newspaper, Diario, is subject of a boycott imposed by the Prime Minister of Aruba and the MEP party.

Diario has been reporting numerous scandals involving various government ministers. Also, he is the only person of imporance on Aruba who has called for a proper investigation of the Natalee Holloway case.

(Scroll down to the 3rd and 4th post.)

Since when does a so-called democratically-elected government supress the press? PLEASE PUBLICIZE this – or whatever your association can do.

      Thank you.

The SM link is to page 21 of the M&C thread; the two posts are Amigoe’s article about the boycott, and Jossy’s response on another web site.

Thanks for the address, Ms. Marple … the Holloway Twitty family have commended Jossy Mansur for his contributions to Natalee’s case. Let’s speak up for him; it’s the least we can do to help him fight the Aruban regime.

What is not being said is that Diario still can exercise it’s freedom of speech…This “newspaper” still publishes everyday…The only difference now that because of their constant misinformations, lies and fabrications it will have to withstand a commercial boycott from the MEP party…

    4. Meee on April 10th, 2007 8:00 pm

Thanks for the site link. Dropped them an e-mail. Have to protect the only source of truth on that corrupt island.

A boycott of a commercial business that falls under freedom od speech from a political party is a kin to sensorship.

Never should any political party ever do such a thing. What a government you people in Aruba have elected. For those that defend these reprehensible actions … naybe the next time it will be you.

    6. Observer on April 11th, 2007 1:00 am

What that Govt is doing to Diario is probably nothing compared to what they do to regular people. Now we know why people are scared to talk about what happened to Natalee or speak out about the corruption. Even worse..For the people who want to collect that reward money..

    7. Richard on April 11th, 2007 6:18 am

If Oduber succeeds in this, who will he go after next?

    8. Pali druif on April 11th, 2007 6:38 am

Imus got suspended…What about freedom of speech in the USA ??

I thought that America had freedom of speech…Hmmmm…

    9. Pali druif on April 11th, 2007 6:42 am

The Diario boycott doesn’t fall under sensorship. The Diario still publishes every day. The MEP party is a political association…The people in this association can also exercise their freedom of speech by saying that enough is enough with Jossy Mansur’s deliberate misinformation and lies…

    10. Observer on April 11th, 2007 2:48 pm

Thats funny cause thats exactly what Jossy Mansur has fought against deliberate misinformation and lies. He fights for the truth. He has proven it on paper and on video.

The MEP party has been caught red handed lying, bribing, intimadating and protecting criminals..They fight for keeping people silent and covering up the truth. It is smart they have kept there mouth shut this last year. Like I said before they are a cross between Bagdad Bob and the Pathological liar.

    11. Pali druif on April 11th, 2007 10:16 pm

Jossy is more “appreciated” in America then in Aruba…I think he should be given a permanent Visa in the USA…

      Pali Druif,

Jossy does not lie. If he sees sewer rats, he documents their actions, and reports them. If you have a problem with that, we know in which category in which to place you.
