Will All Charges Against Duke Lacrosse Players, Collin Finnerty, Dave Evans and Reade Seligmann be Dropped Soon?

According to Inside Lacrosse Magazine and Paul Caulfield, all pending charges against the Duke_LAXthree Duke Lacrosse players, Collin Finnerty, Dave Evans and Reade Seligmann will be dropped as per inside sources to the case.

“There is no case here and they will be hearing a dismissal in the coming days,” Caulfield told FOX News.

This case has been a judicial folly from the outset. When dealing with such accusations of rape, it is so important to protect and respect the rights of both victim and and the accused. Discounting either only damages all future rape cases.

The remaining charges against three Duke University lacrosse players originally indicted for rape may be dropped sometime within the next few days, according to a report.

Inside Lacrosse Magazine writer Paul Caulfield told FOX News on Thursday that several sources have revealed to him that the assault and attempted kidnapping charges still pending against Collin Finnerty, 19, of Garden City, N.Y.; Dave Evans, 23, of Bethesda, Md.; and Reade Seligmann, 20, of Essex Falls, N.J., will soon be dropped.

Caulfield said his sources include more than just attorneys for the defense. (Fox News)

These 3 lacrosse players probably learned the most valuable thing thru this than they got out of a 4 year Duke degree program … do not put yourself into situations that can backfire on you.

All of this could have been avoided if they just never decided to hire strippers for their party, which is still a wonder why they needed them.

Its a kin to inviting a vampire in to your home.

Oh, do not worry!! They will file charges. I saw it happen once myself during my stint as a dispatcher. Girl lied because she found out she was pregnant, so the situation was different, but she was trying to protect herself from her parents knowing she was sexually active. Just couldn’t believe she accused her own boyfriend! He was a mess at the station. Even the officers said something was “way wrong” considering his demeanor and hers if you compared them.

If they don’t charge the dancer, they are stupid.

I agree 100% with Red and had posted the same thoughts. Those kids knew better although they didn’t realize what they were stirring up. Hard life lesson.
