Check out all of the pictures at TMZ that they are claiming to have been verified and 100% authentic. Slim-Fast and Methadone. What are the odds that Howard K. Stern would be in two rooms where two people died, one of a mixture drug overdose and the other still to be determined?
The methadone is compelling, as Smith’s son Daniel died from a combination of drugs that included methadone. Law enforcement sources in the Bahamas tell TMZ that at least one witness has come forward and said Howard K. Stern supplied Daniel with methadone just before he died, and flushed the remaining stash down the toilet. That witness is expected to testify next month at the coroner’s inquest into Daniel’s death. During the initial autopsy the other day the coroner stated that there were no visible pills found in Anna Nicole Smith’s stomach. Could that have been because the methodone ingested was a liquid and not a pill? As the methodone seen below.

Yes nychic you are right they do get the shakes on methadone just like drinking & heroin. A friend of mine was on methadone kicking the heroin, the dose slightly decreasing every week in hopes of avoiding those horribe withdrawal tremors.
The reason no pills were found i her stomach is coz she’s dosing liquid & it appears injectables.
I’m proud to say that friend is off the methadone now & thanks me for not being judgemental, just encouraging & having the belief he could do it.

Pardon my cynicism, but for the sake of justice and this child’s safety, I hope a judge in the Bahamas orders DNA tests to establish the identity of the baby’s true father. I think that would happen under U.S. jurisdiction, but with jurisdiction established as it is in the Bahamas, I am not so sure.
Anna Nicole Smith established citizenship in the Bahamas last fall and the child born to her in the Bahamas then established Bahamian citizenship of her baby. And the name of Howard K. Stern appearing as father of the child on the birth certificate, though he is not married to the mother, establishes him as the child’s legal guardian now that the mother is deceased.
Now, what bothers me, is the fact that Howard K. Stern was present when Daniel died, one of Anna Nicole Smith’s legal heirs, and since the claims of his mother survive her death, if Anna Nicole Smith’s claim to the Marshall fortune is awarded, Daniel would have been rightfully entitled to 50% of his mother’s estate if he would have been living after her death, his new sister being entitled to the other 50%. Furthermore, as an heir of legal age, he would have the right to legally challenge the paternity of Howard K. Stern, request DNA tests to prove or disprove Howard K. Stern’s paternity claim and petition for guardianship of his little sister to guard the integrity of his mother’s estate.
But Daniel is deceased. And now his mother is deceased, Howard K. Stern again present. And little Dannielynn is the only next of kin who is legal heir to Anna Nicole Smith’s estate, included in that are future awards to claims established before her death. So long as Howard K. Stern has his paternity established by that child’s birth certificate and can prevent DNA tests that might disprove his paternity, he is the legal guardian of the child and guardian of the child’s financial assets until the child comes of legal age. But guardian of assets is quite restrictive and often subject to court appointed oversight. But with paternity established, he is also little Dannielynn’s only next of kin who is legal heir to the estate Danniellynn inherits and Howard K. Stern stands at the end of the line to inherit the Marshall fortune if tragic demise comes to Dannielynn.
I know it is wildly cynical to think that could happen. But what the heck, I can’t help wondering about such possibilities.
I think, maybe, they were dosing each other!

Methodone as treatment for their addiction, no telling
how long they were using the real stuff.
Maybe that’s why they went to the Bahama’s to have the
baby. They would have lost custody of the baby, had she
tested possitive for Heroin (I’m not sure about Methadone)
I believe testing is mandatory in California where they
don’t take too kindly to women who give birth to addicted
babies.

Remember the report given by the coroner on Friday? He said that he was only able to examine the body externally at that point and that he could rule out gunshot, stabbing, beating, etc. He said that she had bruises on her back that she had apparently suffered during a fall in the bathroom. But he also mentioned that there was a mark on the body that could indicate the cause of death, but it was too early for him to make a public statement about it.
My first thought was a needle mark, indicative of shooting-up. A coroner is trained to look for such marks, and the fall in the bathroom may have been her initial reaction to shooting the drug in her vein for the first time since being on Methadone treatment. Maybe she had a relapse… and went back to shooting heroine.
And, no, I still don’t believe that Howard murdered her. I think that Howard is probably as addicted to drugs as she was. But there isn’t anything that indicates, so far, that Howard had anything to do with Anna Nicole’s death. It takes more than just being around when a person dies from an overdose to convict them of murder. Besides, everything is speculative, at this point. We are only guessing about the cause of her death.
Since this stuff has been found in the regridgerator, I am beginning to worry about the baby. The info I read on opiate addiction in babies said that they can suffer from seizures for up to six months, especially from Methadone. I wonder if her grandmother is still in Nassau trying to see her.
I think somebody needs to look into not only Howard but why is a doctor dispensing all this methodone the 474 million dollar question of the day

Methadone can cause respiratory depression, did Anna have pneumonia in the week preceding her death? I understand that if you lungs do not function well you get pneumonia.
The really, weird-looking interior designer guy that Anna used both in the US and Bahamas was on TV this weekend talking about Anna. He said that Howard was “using” Anna and “she made all the money for everyone else to live off her by”. Interesting statement.
I agree with Post #13 that it is a bit too bizzare Howard was present for both deaths. Maybe he truly was supplying Meth to both Anna and Daniel.
My feelings for Anna and Daniel are of sadness due to lives lost too young, and not enjoyed in spite of the fortune and fame. Obviously didn’t do them much good, did it?

They say you can learn alot about a person by looking into their refidgerator. How true that is. I suppose health was never an issue for someone that had a fix for everything. Bad looks – plastic surgery, saggy boobs – a boob lift, cellulite – liposuction. What ever happened to the good ol’ days where a person was the picture of health through a good diet and exercise? Having the vitality that comes from being fit is priceless and can’t be bought, no matter how much money you have.
Marilyn Monroe’s good looks and curves were not bought from a doctor with a scappel in his hands. She had true beauty, and I’m sure she had to work at keeping it. There is not even a comparison between Marilyn and Anna. Sure, Marilyn posed for magazines, but she also went on to star in movies, as the leading lady. Anna Nicole Smith just posed for pictures, and posed for pictures, and posed for pictures. Her role in her “Reality” show was a farce and her acting ability left a lot to be desired… she couldn’t even speak without slurring her words.
Marilyn was the only candle in the wind… there is no one that has even come close to compare with her… especially this drug addicted shell of a human being.
And all this talk about how Howard made her do it… I’m sorry but I’m not buying it. No one can force you to take drugs over and over. If she wanted help, she had plenty of people, besides Howard, that would have been more than happy to rescue her. What about the other men that she was sleeping with, you don’t think that they would have helped her? The photographer that’s insisting the baby is his, has made loads of public statements about Anna’s abusive live style, don’t you think that if she wanted help, he would have given it to her? Actually, I think that he probably offered to help her and she turned him down, flat.

Patti, I usually don’t say much on these kinds of subjects. I don’t know Anna’s cause of death yet. It’s kind of like when Faye Resnick came out with that disgusting book about her, “GOOD” friend she said, Nicole Simpson just days after she died trying to cash in. OR when Elvis died and all those books with gossip by people who worked for him or knew him as a friend trying to paint him in a darker light to make money off of him. After he all the money he gave them and gave them the good life they would never have seen otherwise. What happened to friendship and trust and respect? We heard rumors that people should charge Elvis’s doctor for what happened. I don’t like anyone turning a tragedy into a circus for financial gain. Kinda like Joran trying to write a book to cash in on Natalee losing her life. I say let her rest in peace and let the investigators figure it out, paternity test will tell who’s the father. Diana’s death was turned into a circus. It’s still going on now. Obviously Anna had some inner conflicts all her life that she was never able to deal with and they came out in other forms of her life.

He had a full TV crew with him flying to the Bahama’s while
crying on camera and making a documentary of “his grief”.

#13. I do not believe ANS’s baby is a citizen of the Bahamas. She was born to American parents, so she is an American citizen. Not all countries automatically give citezenship just because you are born there.
I doubt HKS is the baby’s father, but I don’t think he’s a murderer either. We’ll have to let this one play out.
Regarding ANS, may she rest in peace. It’s too bad so many people have such ugly things to say about her.
Babies born in Bahamas have the option of choosing that citizenship or that of the parents. However, if Thompson reclaims the property, which his lawyer says he will at the court hearing on February 26, Stern will have no right to claim residence on the island, and, preusmably need to go back to the US. At that point Birkhead’s paternity suit kicks in.

Here i thought he had just run off to collect himself to be able to talk (spin his side) to police but no he’s got the media on the flight back to the island before Anna’s body got cold.
Is it just me or did anyone else watch Howard talking in that interview in flight & think he’s trying to hide his face. He won’t look at the reporter’s he speaking to nor does he look at the camera, but he did manage to sqeeze out one tear out of 1 eye.
I’m getting a Scott P. feel in that interview. His head is bent down, cap hiding most of his face and he sorta sounds upset but i could swear his mouth looked smirky with the lips turned up in a lil smile.
I’m not a fan of Anna’s……never watched her show at all. I did take notice when the US Supreme Court upheld Anna’s right to go after part of the old guys estate.
Just the fact that the Supreme Court wanted to and did allowed her case to be heard was pretty amazing.
Within 6 months of that ruling Daniel dies, Anna put Howard’s name on the birth certificate and Anna herself is found unresponsive & was not or could not be revived.
Anna’s case presented an important issue regarding the right of federal courts to intervene in state bankruptcy courts, which is why the Supreme Court agreed to hear the case.
The information here on meth is very relevant. There were reports Anna awas drinking the night before she died, which can be lethal when mixed with meth.
I am sure the police will check on all of the people involved that were with Anna on her trip to Fla. I noted the care taker female last night on Fox news … Wonder
what her background is/history? Was she a star struck

The latest report is that they have uncovered bill of lading documents for shipments sent to Anna Nicole containing Methadon, a synthetic opiate; Demerol, a morphine-type drug; Dalmane, a sleeping medication; and vitamin B-12 serum used for injection like the ones seen in the refrigerator. These were prescribed for her under various names by doctors in California and get this:

Larry Birkhead told the NY Daily News that he told Anna she had to dry out while carrying his child. She did go into rehab, but later broke down. Her business manager from her early Houston days said even then she was always popping pills to get up in the morning, sleep at night, etc. I suspect that after the death of her son she was probably sloshed most of the time. Stern may have been an enabler, but if Anna insisted on taking drugs we really cannot hold him responsible for her condition. More interestikng to me is the case of Daniel. Some friends have said he did not do drugs. If so, why were they found in his system?
The Thompson family of SC, who apparently own the mansion in the Bahamas, said on Greta last night that Anna told them Larry was the father. If Stern were he would be pushing for the paternity test and not avoiding it. They are going to evict him, and predicted he will eventually return to the US because he will run out of money, as he does not have a job.
