Sad News from Mountain Brook, AL … Jug and Beth Twitty Divorcing
It is being reported that Jug Twitty, the stepfather of Natalee Holloway, has filed for a divorce from Beth Twitty. Unfortunately this happens all too often in families of missing persons who experience the loss of a loved one. The pressure, stress and burden is too much to bare.
George “Jug” Twitty filed papers in Jefferson County Circuit Court on Dec. 29 citing irreconcilable differences with his wife. Jug Twitty declined to comment on the divorce procedure.
The couple separated Dec. 15, according to the court filing, although their home off Overton Road is still listed as both their addresses. In the papers, Jug Twitty claims there’s “such a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together.” The Twittys married July 26, 2000, a second marriage for both. We wish them both the best.

12 Year Old Special Education Student Charged With Disorderly Conduct After Wetting Pants
Yes, you read the title correctly. A twelve year old, special education student at Danville Middle School in Montour County, PA was charged with disorderly conduct for wetting her
pants. School officials and authorities state it was intentional. They have got to be kidding. That’s right, this special education student is just a hardened criminal. What the hell is going on in our schools today? What are these people thinking?
Her mother told the Press Enterprise it happened because her daughter was frightened by the principal.
The girl had been preparing a holiday lunch with her classmates and teachers at Danville Middle School on December 20th.
Her mother said when her daughter refused to go to the kitchen to wash some pots
and pans, teachers summoned principal Kevin Duckwork, who confronted the girl.
She then wet her pants. (CBS3)
It sounds more like this school has no idea what to do with a special education student and is looking for a way to rid themselves of the burden. Earth to Danville Middle School … you have to deal with and educate all of your students, not arrest them.
But Danville Police Chief Eric Gill said school officials are at their “wit’s end” with the girl, and they believe her actions were deliberate.
Pa. girl, 12, charged with crime for wetting pants
Do we live on the planet Earth? The family could avoid a fine if they agree to have the 12 year old special education student do community service? What are they talking about? How about the school might avoid a law suit if they make this whole matter go away!!!
School Superintendent Steve Keifer would not discuss the confrontation, but said that as a general rule the police are called only after “all other alternatives are exhausted.”
Police told the girl’s parents they could probably avoid a fine if they agree to have the girl do community service.
UPDATE: Charge Dropped After Girl Wets Pants At School
BINGO … We called this one. Looks like Mr. Big Shot School Superintendent Keifer has had a change of heart. Maybe because of the exposure this story received on the internet and in the national media showing what a bunch of imbeciles they were for having a special needs student arrested for wetting her pants. Lord only knows if they kept up the nonsense there was a lawsuit coming down the pike. Here’s an idea … why don’t all those involved at the middle school who had this 12 year old arrested do community service.
Authorities in Danville, Pa., have decided to drop a disorderly conduct charge against a 12-year-old special education student who they accused of deliberately wetting her pants at school.
A school superintendent now says that it was a mistake to bring police into a case of school discipline.
Charges Against Pants Wetting Young Girl Dropped
File this one under, no S%#@ Sherlock. Exactly what epiphany did all of you in authority have that maybe, just maybe it was a wrong thing to arrest a 12 year old special ed student? How any of these people are in charge of children is a scary proposition.
“It was a mistake to bring police into a case of school discipline,” Superintendent Steve Keifer said Thursday.
“I think the situation was one where the parents and school officials were frustrated, and that’s why it was done,” Keifer said. “At the same time, it was probably not a good idea.”
Montour County District Attorney Robert Buehner spoke with Keifer and Gill on Thursday and decided to drop the disorderly conduct charge.
“I think to bring a 12-year-old girl into the criminal justice system, when there are better alternatives, it makes better sense to just let the school district handle it with the child and parents,” Buehner said.
